Off the grid and on the run since she was a teen, Sara Wilde has made a name for herself as an artifact hunter with an edge—finding the most magical treasures on the planet with the flip of a Tarot card.

But when she’s hired to steal a powerful fertility idol on the last night of Carnival, Sara discovers her rough-and-tumble skills are no match for the new, mysterious buyer she’s attracted. Rich, demanding, and sexy as sin, this Magician promises to be nothing but trouble. Yet, for what he’s willing to shell out for her services, Sara can afford the risk.

Or so she thinks.

As the danger—and the payoffs—mount, the power of Tarot leads Sara from the rollicking party of Rio de Janeiro to the grand historical cemeteries of Savannah, then on to the ostentatious museum halls of New York City. Meanwhile, the relentless Magician weaves an ever more seductive spell, hinting at a world she’s barely glimpsed.

To keep from getting burned by passion, power, or betrayal, Sara’s going to need some Wilde Magic.

Wilde Magic is book one in the Immortal Vegas series by Jenn Stark.

The first 25% of the opening adventure of Wilde Magic was previously published as a novella One Wilde Night. The story has been changed and expanded leading Sara into a new adventure.

Sara Wilde is an artifact hunter with an edge from her Tarot Cards in finding the most magical treasures on the planet. She also has a big heart and unusual powers.

Sara ends up catching the attention of a powerful member of the Arcana Council, who hires her for a job. On her adventure to find the artifact she learns that there are powerful dangerous people wanting to change the world and with the help of Armaes Bertrand aka the Magician they just might stop and save the balance of magic.

Wilde Magic was a good start. I read One Wilde Night, so I found the begging a bit disappointed in that it was a repeat. After we got past that part things got better. I’m not totally sold yet on the series, but I did enjoy it well enough to finish. I was full of adventure and non-stop action. Not sure on how I feel about the Magician as a romantic aspect for Sarah. The author does a good job connecting us into Sarah’s thoughts. The story is a glimpse into our leads globe travels and what she stands for.

DNF @ 7% / 3 chapters

The dude speaking telepathically to her is such a creep and honestly made no sense?
And she's naked at an orgy to steal the amulet... naked, oiled up, then pulls a knife??? Where did the knife come from?

It is incredibly fast paced though as she goes from orgy, to running, to fighting, to... *checked the end of chapter 3 again* potentially being forced into a wedding?

Soooo yeah, I'm just not clicking with it.

I am a diehard lover of this series. I always have been. But, now, with this newly written Book 1, I'm ready to start over and read it again for the first time.

Before now, we really didn't have much of an idea how Sara and Armaeus met and started working together. Now we know. This book takes us back to the beginning so we can finally learn where they started. And what a beginning it is! Sara, a magical artifact hunter, is on the trail of a new acquisition. Her client, as usual, doesn't tell her much, just what it is. So, off she goes in that wild manner that has gotten her to where she is now, one of the foremost artifact hunters in the world. With her Tarot cards in hand, she chases the artifact until she runs across an arrogant yet unbelievably beautiful buyer who is determined to help her...and possibly seduce her.

Sara being Sara fights the pull as well as the aid and chases the artifact clear across the Americas from Brazil to New Orleans to New York. Of course, she's not the only one chasing it. Trouble and magic follow her on the trail, and her most likely buyer brings most of it. Tarot may guide her, but he's determined to make sure she gets where she's going without getting killed in the process.

Does this make him her benefactor? Or her biggest threat? With Armaeus, you never know. Sara is as attracted to him as she is determined to shake him from her tail. Watch Sara and Armaeus begin their travels and adventures together as they attract and repel each other in equal measure. What a fun ride! And it all begins with, of all things, a fertility idol! What could possibly go wrong?

Whether you're reading this series again or beginning it for the first time, this book is the perfect beginning, and a must-read. Jenn Stark has outdone herself with this new book 1 to her amazing series Immortal Vegas.

As always, Excellently done, Jenn Stark! Excellently done, indeed! I'm so glad you introduced us to Sara and Armaeus all over again!

This thing starts in a weird place, both literally and figuratively. I questioned having picked up this book because, the book literally starts out in an orgy. The MC isn't participating, but that doesn't make it not weird. And the MC spends more time naked, or close to it, in the first 1/3 of the book than... felt good to read about. And there are some serious consent issues with another character who is mostly a disembodied voice in her head, at this point, but can also physically affect her, like when he definitely used magical foreplay when she didn't even know who it was, didn't ask for it, and didn't even actually consent. Beyond that, he literally said he was doing it to distract her from the *checks notes* orgy sex magic that wanted to pull her in. How in the absolutely opposite of "intended outcomes" did he decide that was the way to go!? And he continued being kind of that way. Even getting upset about a consent boundary from Sara Wilde (MC) at a couple of points because normally people can't keep him out of their heads at all. At one point, well after she has told him repeatedly to stay out of her head, her walls drop a bit because she is overwhelmed by something else, and he IMMEDIATELY uses that opportunity to read her mind.

But she responds weirdly a couple of times to handsy voice in her head guy (who does get a name later) and to another character that she literally KNOWS is in the actual process of betraying her... so maybe she just isn't written like a character who acknowledges things like consent and such? She is written like an interesting character as long as nothing sexual is happening. Nothing REMOTELY sexual. Otherwise she gets really dumb and acts against her own self-interest a lot. Like, I do not relate to this character in a number of ways, but kind of in that way where she doesn't totally feel like a real person. But, I accidentally read the beginning of the first book in the series after this one first, because I didn't realize there WAS a series before that one when I started. With what I read at the beginning of that book in mind, I decided to finish this book, to see where I stood on it after that. But, just based on the 1/3 of this book... it would have possibly gotten into DNF territory, if I didn't choose to push through.

I do not like the Magician character. He is problematic AF. He is too powerful for things to make much sense. He is also too manipulative, too uninterested in consent, but pretends to be once we get late in the book. I got actually offended when the MC and he were both talking/thinking about how *respectful* he is of consent late in the book, like the orgy sex magic, sexually taking advantage thing didn't happen. Or that he wasn't trying to read her mind all the time even when she kept telling him not to. A character doesn't respect consent because other characters say they do. Or ESPECIALLY because they themselves say they do. You have to show it in action, and he demonstrably DOES NOT.

Basically I like the parts of the book that he isn't really in or a meaningful part of. And the more I got of him, the less I wanted. And I got extra upset at the end of the book, where he didn't get what he wanted from the MC, so he did an end-around. Bringing someone else in to get what he wanted. And... she figured it out and was fine with that, for some reason. He isn't a good person. He is in many ways actively a bad person. And she was just going to give up on her own boundaries to let him have what he wanted at nearly every turn. I hated that. And I hated that about her.

I am going to average the parts I liked and the parts I hated, and give this book a 3. But understand that I am rounding up for that 3.

OMG I didn't like it!

The writing was okay and the few characters seemed interesting but not enough, the plot was sooo not there.

Usually this types of book in the first chapters you get a sense of the world, what type of main character she is, what powers/information does she have, who are their allies and who are their enemies buuuut this book starts with an extensive action scene that never stops and it just her and her inner monologue with some interruptions from the bad guys and the mysterious guy but for all 20% of what I read it's just her inner monologue, she fighting, trying to find something, fighting, fighting, getting bruised and resting while narrating about the amulet and why she was in Rio but I just get so annoying and bored to death.

Sorry but I needed her mysterious telepathic friend to either chat more or to show up, sure the main objective was the amulet but give us more than her inner monologue.
Like for example the Kate Daniels Saga in the first chapter she goes to investigated and talks to a bunch of people trying to connect all the dots while trying to not cause trouble just to do it anyway but again with her you had the actions scenes, the mystery, the new interesting characters and her own wit but with this book you got none it felt as I was reading a book about magical facts in Rio.
Sorry but I won't be continuing with the story or any books by the author, I don't think she is the worst but just boring

Having read everything by Jenn Stark regarding Sara Wilde and the Arcana Council, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this. I'm not generally a fan of a prequel after the fantastic rest.
But I'm so glad I did!! It cleverly wove in salient details, while linking in parts that also occur further in the series.
A fab read, and if you haven't already read the fantastic series to follow it, I really can't recommend it highly enough.
Jenn's writing style is so slick and vivid in it's descriptions, I feel like I can visualise everything single scene as though I'm in it.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Setting:
This book takes place in the modern day world, at first in Rio de Janeiro and then in a couple different towns in the U.S.

The most important aspect of the world building is that magic exists and those individuals who have the ability to use any sort of it are referred to as Connected. This is a blanket term that applies to anyone of any supernatural powers without respect to the way in which those powers manifest or the severity of the powers.

Characters:
Sara: Our lead character and sole POV is Sara Wilde, a relatively young woman who has taken up the dangerous work of collecting rare and powerful magic artifacts. She does this seemingly entirely out of the goddess of her own heart as at least the vast majority of the money she makes doing this she sends to a priest who helps work on caring for a number of connected children. She’s not an entirely saintly individual though as she tends to be sarcastic, snarky, and standoffish to almost everyone she knows.

The Magician: Armeaus is a mysterious character who inserts himself into Sara’s life by inserting his voice directly into her brain because he can do that. We learn bits of information about him sparingly but what is apparent right away is that this guy is very powerful and very rich. He’s also very hot. It’s really important that you know that but don’t worry about remembering it because Stark will helpfully remind you each time he’s on page.

Plot:
We begin the story with Sara very hot on the trail of a magic frog pendant she’s been hired to collect. While on this job she meets The Magician, an enigmatic individual who clearly wants something from her. He helps her out and then gives her another job, this time working for him.

My Thoughts:
As I read through this I was frequently reminded of a different book series, namely the Livi Talbot series by Skylar Dawn Cameron. On its face the comparison is perfectly logical. Both series are set in the modern day and follow a young female treasure hunter who specializes in collecting magic artifacts. Both series also have the main character deeply concerned with the care and well being of a young child, though Cameron's series it’s the main character’s kid so she doesn't get to look quite as altruistic about it. All of these similarities could have been what reminded me so heavily of the other books but that wasn't it. What actually reminded me so heavily of Cameron's books is that both books have “the guy”.

In both series the main character is competent and skilled, but still certainly falls within the bounds of reasonable for a normal human. Reasonable being perhaps a slightly generous term here but action heroes always get a healthy serving of suspension of disbelief. And yes sure, our lead in this book isn't technically a normal human as she is stated multiple times to be a Connected but the only ability our main character shows off is vague information gathering via reading tarot cards that she openly admits can have multiple different interpretations and the true meanings are often not clear until after the fact. So this is functionally about as supernatural as a good intuition and a little bit of luck. Her tarot cards tell her nothing Sherlock Holmes couldn't figure out.

What most assuredly is very potently supernatural in both of these series is “the guy”. Both series have our lead heroine teamed up in short order with a man, here The Magician and in the Livi Talbot series his name was West. In both cases, this man vastly outclasses our protagonist in almost every way. West was a James Bond-esq secret agent with the magical abilities to shapeshift into a tiger at will and crush metal with his bare hands. The Magician is perhaps even stronger than that with magic that is unclear as to its exact extent but clearly very powerful and if that wasn't enough he's also insanely wealthy which is a superpower all on its own.

I'm left here with the same questions I had in those books. Why is the protagonist the protagonist? Why am I following Sara when The Magician is clearly a far more interesting character? Why does he need Sara’s help at all? There's one or two hand-wavey attempts at excusing this by suggesting he's unable or unwilling to get directly involved for some ill-defined reasons. But come on. The guy has telepathy, knows everything, can teleport, can see the future, and can magically heal wounds from a distance among other powers we probably don't even know about yet. I do not buy that he needed any assistance to do anything. In fact, he probably could have done everything faster and easier were he not forced to transport and protect this fragile powerless human the whole time for no discernable reason.

In this book, as with Cameron's, we're left with a scenario in which the main character feels entirely unnecessary in what is ostensibly their story. That would be enough of a problem but my complaints do not end there.

Sara seems shockingly cool with Armeaus just showing up in her head. He’s already there by chapter one and she makes a comment along the lines of “yeah this dude just started talking to me in my head recently. Kinda weird but he’s been cool enough I guess so it’s chill.” She does occasionally make half-hearted attempts to pretend like she cares but these come off mostly as her being petty and childish and not actually concerned about having someone else poking around in her brain. Being a main character Sara is of course super special awesome and has a magic brain that the Magician can’t fully explore because of… no reason that Stark bothers to explain in this book. We’re left to conclude that Sara must be special because the demigod who's stalking her says she is every third chapter or so. At no point are we given any proof of it.

This book is also just generally quite horny. It starts with the character butt naked at an orgy because obviously she couldn’t possibly steal the frog pendant anywhere else. In fairness it is apparently some fertility related magic trinket so I guess sex happening around it makes sense. But the horny content doesn’t stop after she finishes that job. No she’s (of course) super attracted to the Magician who more than once… physically gropes her. I guess that’s what you could say happens in some really weird scenes that are just kinda gross to read. She’s mostly cool with it so at least they aren’t gross in that way but uhhh still definitely not my cup of tea.

When you get past all of that, the rest of this book is just an aggressively average urban fantasy with really rather little to make it stand out in the crowded subgenre. If the concept of a modern day lady treasure hunter sounds fun, I’d recommend the previously mentioned Livi Talbot books instead, yes they do have the same issue I mentioned with the guy stealing the limelight but they still manage to be fun.

“Wilde Magic” is the story all “Immortal Vegas” series fans have been waiting for, a new series starter that explain what exactly happened between “One Wilde Night” (which is included in this book) and “Getting Wilde”, book 2 in the series. How did Sara Wild ‘exactly’ ended up working for Armaeus? Now, we finally know 😉

Jenn Stark possesses a rare gift for storytelling that turns every story into a reader’s delight,
her writing style is unique, a mixture of hardcore adventure and whimsicality, that makes the story simultaneously light and surprisingly deep, with characters that show very real-life qualities in seemingly fantasy situations, an impeccable delivery, action-packed, fast-paced, and still with a carefully character description and a rich rendered UF verse. Readers acquainted with “Immortal Vegas” already know what to expect, all those who have been leaving under some kind of rock, none of my business, this is between you and your rock 😉 you are very welcome to the Series and are in for a treat… lucky you 😊 there is another 10 books in this series waiting for you (and eight additional ones in the spin-off “Wilde Justice”) but… make a plan to schedule some sleep hours now and then, because once you step into Immortal Vegas, you’ll never be able leave 😉

I’ll repeat myself once more - and I will keep on doing so…until some “power that be” hears my plea 😊 Jenn Stark’s “Immortal Vegas/Sara Wilde”-Verse is the best urban fantasy out there… This verse deserves its own TV-Show, seriously!!!!! For the reader every book is both a blessing and a curse…. because we are blessed with Jenn Stark’s talent, and we are also cursed with keeping asking for more…and about that Ms. Stark: can we petty pleeeeaaaase finally get an Arcana Council Deck? Even an Only Majors one would do… for starters 😊

Wilde Magic is the updated and expanded first book in the Immortal Vegas series. Sara is an artifact hunter with a reputation for finding the most magical treasures. To do so, she uses her trusty Tarot cards to help guide her. During an assignment to collect a fertility idol, she catches the attention of the Magician, a powerful member of the Arcana Council. He hires her for an assignment and the pay is just too much for her to pass up—plus, she has an undeniable pull towards the Magician that makes it impossible for her to say no to him. As the assignment grows from simple artifact collection to something potentially more dangerous and deadly, Sara needs to determine if she can trust the Magician and if she wants to continue doing business with him.

I really loved this book! It’s a new series starter to the Immortal Vegas and Wilde Justice series and I really liked getting to see the first interaction between Sara and Armaeus. Honestly, I love these two characters, so I was really excited to get to jump back into their world. The author has created an incredible world filled with complex characters that I really care about. Since this is the first book in the series, there are some characters we have yet to meet, but I loved the cameo at the end of the book. Reading this book makes me want to dive back in a reread the entire series, it was very much like catching up with an old friend. If you’re new to the series this is a great time to begin, I highly recommend it, and if you’ve read the series, you’re going to want to read the story of how Sara and Armaeus first meet.

WILDE magic is the revised intro book to a fantastic Urban Fantasy series featuring a clever and determined FMC by the name of Sara Wilde. A hunter of arcane artifacts using her trusty, never-fail Tarot cards, Sara begins her adventures in Rio during Carnival in the most non-Indiana Jones way possible - oiled up amid an underground rave worshipping a pendant-wearing priestess. A pendant with mystical properties that people are literally dying for.

The Magician enters Sara’s job and life in a most intrusive manner: a mysterious voice, only in her head no less, which guides her on this most slippery job. And while undeniably intrigued (it IS a sexy as silk voice purring through their mind nudging her in the right direction), Sara is unnerved by all the mansplaining/psychicsplaining going on and blocks him out.

But meeting the Magician in real life is an even bigger trip. He ticks all the boxes for both trouble and fun: sexy, mysterious, wise and sexy. Did I mention sexy?

The Magician whisks Sara away into more alluring adventrues and the foundation for a great Urban Fantasy series is set.
Immortal Vegas is an 18 book UF series, with several side stories and AMAZING supporting characters, including other members of the Arcane Council such as the Devil, the Fool and Death, as well as witches, demons, and the best friend a girl could ever ask for.
This is the book that got me interested in Urban Fantasy and now it’s leveled-up - now hotter, spicier, and even more clever.

Heather's Notes
I liked this story and it was a very interesting premise. What a unique way to use tarot cards. The first part of the book was very busy, and while the pace did finally slow down, it stayed steady. I would have liked a little more information about Sara. I also got a little annoyed about the way Armaes kept calling her "Miss Wilde", but otherwise a good story.

I am already a fan of Jenn Stark's other series, Immortal Vegas, Wilde Justice, and Demon Enforcers. Wilde Magic is the first book in the new Immortal Vegas series and takes us back to when main character Sara Wilde first meets the Magician, Armaeus Bertrand. It is not necessary to have read all of the other books in the other series in order to read Wilde Magic. A new reader will not be lost if this is the first of Jenn Stark's book read. For readers that have already read the other books, Wilde Magic gives us an opportunity to delve deeper into Sara's thoughts about the Magician upon first meeting and working with him. Knowing what I do from the other books gives me a new perspective on what I thought I understood before. I am better able to empathize with Sara's and the Magician's relationship and appreciate it even more due to what they went through to get to where they eventually end up. If you have never read any of Jenn Stark's books, I highly recommend them. I am looking forward to the next book in the Immortal Vegas series. I cannot wait to learn more about Sara's journey and growth into the role she will eventually take on.

(FYI I tend to only review one book per series, unless I want to change my scoring by 0.50 or more of a star. -- I tend not to read reviews until after I read a book, so I go in with an open mind.)

4.5*

First time read the author's work?: No

Will you be reading more?: Yes

Would you recommend?: Yes

------------
How I rate Stars: 5* = I loved (must read all I can find by the author)
4* = I really enjoyed (got to read all the series and try other books by the author).
3* = I enjoyed (I will continue to read the series)
or
3* = Good book just not my thing (I realised I don't like the genre or picked up a kids book to review in error.)

All of the above scores means I would recommend them!
-
2* = it was okay (I might give the next book in the series a try, to see if that was better IMHO.)
1* = Disliked

Note: adding these basic 'reviews' after finding out that some people see the stars differently than I do - hoping this clarifies how I feel about the book. :-)

This book has so much action that you almost forget the job at hand. Sara is an artifact hunter for hire and uses unusual methods to find her treasures. Her Tarot cards combined with intuition and a never give up attitude, allows us to follow her crazy escapees until she achieves her goal.
We also gets a taste of the mysterious; sexy; powerful Magician and the possible influence he will have in Her life. I welcomed the re-introductions of Nigel, and Simon.. I really enjoyed this intro into what we can expect from this series. Adventure, humor, danger, and hot Romance....I can’t wait for the next book.

Every Jenn Stark book is a great read. I love all of them, they immerse you in amazing adventures with great characters that are so real, even while being larger than life. Wilde Magic is no exception. Its so much fun being with Sara as she delves into a hectic search for hidden artefacts, having to overcome a multitude of obstacles. All the while the Magician keeps showing up in her mind, finally appearing in person too. Having read all the other books is great to see the beginning of their intriguing relationship. I highly recommend this book, whether you are already a Jenn Stark fan or have never read her books. It's a book you could easily read again and again.

I actually really enjoyed this one. Urban fantasy, with a psychic treasure hunter, out competing with a bunch of others in the same industry, to find and sell artifacts on the magic black market.

A surprisingly uncomplicated heroine, who does what's needed to get the job done, and doesn't waste time trying to take responsibility for the fallout of everything around her. Maybe I've just read too many stories with people taking the world on their shoulders, but someone who gets things to an acceptable level and then moves on is a refreshing change.

Not sure if I'll be able to get my hands on the sequels, but I'd be willing to read more from this author for certain.

A wonderful reboot to one of my favorite paranormal series, expanding the previous beginning with more detail. Sara is an extraordinary artifact hunter who has been noticed by people and beings of power. There is magic, drama and an adult edge to new beginning that keeps you going wanting to see how Sara will get by the next endeavor.

With the mysterious Magician showing his cards building tension for what the future holds. He wants to know who Sara really is and she the same regarding him. The cards are dealt and lead me to want to start the adventure again.

I am a HUGE fan of the Sara Wilde series! This first story provides the baseline for the rest of this series and is a 'MUST READ' even as a standalone story. Sara finds herself in compromising situations, danger and intrigue! I won't say more as it will spoil the story for future readers, but Sarah has a real emotional rollercoater of a journey of discovery, both for herself and her understanding of the Connected community! I wholeheartedly recommend this book and series to all readers who like a very different fantasy adventure!

I really liked this new start to the Immortal Vegas Series. It provides interesting background to the story and makes a good storyline even better. If you’ve read the series but haven’t read this book yet, or if you haven’t started the series yet then definitely download this book; you will be in for a treat!

I’ve always enjoyed the interaction between Sara and Armaeus and was pleased to go back to the beginning and the start of it all where the chemistry fizzes off the page. Can’t wait to give the series a re-read.

This is a paranormal romance, not a lot of romance, but the main character is snarky, sassy and fun. I enjoyed the main character as she was willing to do just about anything to earn money to save gifted children. She uses Tarot cards to guide her through the storyline which makes the book unique. Light material and a fun read.

I wanted to get back to read something involving tarot and I knew, that this series just does that. This is the new series starter, so I checked it out.
It is hot, sexy & steamy and certainly adult content as in the beginning we are in Rio de Janeiro during the carnival.
And then the hunt is on and a mystery needs to be solved as behoves for an urban fantasy and I just loved it.
There can be concerns with regards this shady figure in the background that seems to have some kind of mind control over our female main character.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book, but I ended up loving it! It’s entertaining, sensual, and so action-y!

Sara is one of those female leads that I adore - like Kate Daniels or Anita Blake. Kind of like hard-boiled detective but what ever the female version is with a supernatural element. For some reason, that sub sub-genre just does it for me.

I still have questions about the world they live in and am enthusiastically excited to see more from Sara and the Magician - book two might just disrupt my TBR for this month!

I am already a lover of all things Sara Wilde and Immortal Vegas and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jenn Stark and all her shared worlds. This prequel is sooooo fantastic. This is everything and exactly what was needed to start me right into re-reading the whole series. This book starts right in the thick of the action and keeps you on a roller coaster throughout, so much fun! I cannot put into how much I have become attached to this series and all the different “characters” in them. I am in love!!!!

I’m a long time fan of the Immortal Vegas series, and this prequel didn’t disappoint. I don’t want to give anything away - enough for me to say that the characters are familiar and as fun as ever, and it’s lovely to read knowing what happens in later books. I recommend this book whether you’ve already read the series,or this is your first IV book. The story dashes along, with humour (pockets!), detail and imagination.

Wilde Magic is a completely fascinating and original story. I particularly love Starr's writing voice, and the way she uses it to construct the character of Sara. Sara's voice is so distinctive. She very much feels like a real person to me as a reader. Her humor, her snark, her fears, and her hopes all came alive to me throughout the book. I was even drawn in to the romance!
The plot is fast-paced and tightly conceived, with lots of exciting twists and turns.

The characters and this universe are so well done that it makes me want to live there and be included.
This is the beginning of Sara's story, and I cannot wait to continue on. Sara is so unique and so strong, she is someone we can all try to be like
I can’t wait to see how far she and the Magician go – Wowee!

An exciting and promising beginning to an outstanding series!

The seeds of some amazing, paranormal adventures, quirky humor and memorable characters fill the pages of Wilde Magic by Jenn Stark. I'm so glad I went back to the beginning with Sara and the Magician. Exciting action, lots of laughs and a little sizzle... highly recommend this book and, indeed, the whole series!

A remake of the original books, it expands on the story line and how Sara and the Magician came to join forces. I loved that there are parts of the story line that I had forgotten since its been so long ago that I read the original books. Its make me want to start reading everything since the beginning, which I am going to do since I have all the collection. Thank you Jenn.
