Ant viršelio pavaizduoti paukštis, drugelis, gyvatė, ančiukas, žuvytė ir gekonas. Kas juos visus sieja? Teisingai – visi jie išsirito iš kiaušinio.

Ir ne tik jie. Šioje enciklopedinėje knygoje, žingsnis po žingsnio pavaizduojamas įvairių paukščių, vėžlio, varlės, tritono, boružės, laumžirgio ir netgi šliužo išsiritimas iš kiaušinio.

Knygoje daug iliustracijų ir nuotraukų, tad netgi dar nemokantiems skaityti, įdomu vartyti knygą. Tekstai trumpi ir koncentruoti – paaiškina esmę ir pateikia išskirtinius faktus. Apžvelgiama kiaušinių ir juos dedančius gyvūnų įvairovė ir lizdų rūšys.

Kiekvienam pristatomam gyvūnui skirta po vieną knygos lapą (du puslapius). Kadangi vaikai geriausiai pažįsta vištos kiaušinį, kiekvienas kiaušinis palyginamas su vištos, dydžio atžvilgiu.

This is a really neat book for kids who love animals. The book shows how different birds, reptiles, and insects hatch from their eggs. My daughter is 5 years old and loved following the arrows and steps for each hatching animal. One of our favorite parts was seeing the difference in egg sizes on each page, each animal's egg is compared to a standard chicken egg which most kids would be familiar with. The book has a mix of illustrations and actual pictures of eggs hatching. We really enjoyed this book and highly recommend.

Great nonfiction book about different animals and the eggs they hatch in. Had both my 3 and 7 year old amazed.
