She refers to Sri Aurobindo by the number power of 9, the Transcendent Divine, or the Father Principle. His yoga is centered around the Supramental manifestation, it is based on a vision of wholeness and unity. But the vision of a divine life on earth is not enough - It cannot be an end in itself. It must be ‘brought into the Earth sphere and be the propelling conscious power of our actions in the world’. It was not destined that Sri Aurobindo undertake this yogic work alone; to reverse the direction that all spiritual paths had taken the last two thousand years, Sri Aurobindo needed the help or the ‘shakti’ provided by the Mother (the Cosmic Divine, the 6), the Mother Principle and Thea, (the Individual Divine, the 3 or the Daughter principle).
