Wow! I feel a Billy Idol favorite song coming on!! ;) “ BITE WEDDING “ is a new, fan-freaking-tastic concoction with some of our favorite, relatable characters from each of Lisa Carlisle’s 2 different PNR series! This is brand new, a magical, joining with various supernatural beings becoming friends and even more, from the ‘Salem Supernaturals’ world, and the ‘White Mountain Shifters’ series! ... Always a new storyline, plus clever dialogue and great descriptions, kept me glued to my seat not wanting to stop! ... Even tho I volunteered to read this book, it was without any outside influences, and I do buy kindle books whenever I’m able... So yes, I honestly can recommend this to adult fans of fiction & now I can’t wait for more! :D

The Sirens are Back . . .

Gianna was shaken by what she thought she saw outside in the ocean. She immediately called Nova, her witch best friend, to meet her at the club. Now that they were sitting together and talking, she wasn’t sure if she was imagining it or not. Then she told Nova… Sirens, and particularly this dreaded pod led by her mother. She only briefly thought she saw their faces. She hoped she was wrong and it was just the movement of the waves. But Nova contacted the Salem Supernatural Network, an underground organization to help supernaturals, because she was afraid the Sirens were here to cause more trouble. They had a problem with them almost a year ago when they tried to force Gianna to hook up with a demon and the demons tied Gianna up and threw her overboard. She didn’t want to tell Sebastian, her shifter boyfriend, about this because he is super protective… and he doesn’t like the water. Only saving her life compelled him to overcome his phobia despite almost drowning.

Sebastian has been hinting around that he wants something more between them. He told her she is his mate, but she fears commitment. She knows she loves him and wants to be with him always; yet she can’t make herself move forward to make that happen. While Gianna is chatting with Nova, Sebastian gets a visit at his restaurant from an old pack member who had bullied him in the past, the reason he had left the pack years ago. Now Malcolm wanted his help looking for his 13-year-old son who had run away. Sebastian had no idea why he would have any idea where Jackson was or why he would want to help look for him. But it did make him think about his mother and he did miss her.

A few days after Gianna had seen the Sirens, Sebastian came over to spend time with her. Jackson found him, having been following him, and wanted Sebastian to let him live with him. He did not want to return to the pack. Sebastian agreed to let him stay for one night with him, but had to first tell his father he was okay. Then Sebastian thinks about taking him back to the pack for a chance to visit his own parents. Would Gianna come with him?

When Gianna was at her club, her drink tasted different, but she drank it all rather than waste it. Then she recognized one of the caped women who had come in with their hoods up. This one was Marietta, a Siren. She looked around and all of the caped women had disappeared. She went to be with Sebastian so he could reassure her. She was afraid things were going to go terribly wrong soon. And as she saw her hair turning white and wrinkles forming, she knew she was under a curse and in terrible trouble. Could Nova help her now?

Bite Wedding is the latest instalment in the Salem Supernaturals series by Lisa Carlisle.
As with the previous books, Lisa has done it again: the book title is a play on a Billy Idol song and there's plenty of classic songs featuring in the book too.

This time it's Sebastian & Gianna's turn again and do we hearwedding bells? I won't tell...
But...
The road to happiness means for Sebastian confronting his past, he returns home to the White Mountains & yes, it's the same White Mountains that is another series by Lisa.
She cleverly combined the 2 series. Sebastian's pack is the Sacco pack we read about in White Mountain Shifters. Don’t worry if you haven't read it, yet.
He reluctantly helps a former pack member and returns home to make peace with his pack and his past.
Gianna has demons of her own to battle, but this time she has to deal with an aging curse and none other than her mother is involved.
This book was gripping from the start and having to deal with various issues, Sebastian & Gianna battle through every one of them.
Sebastian wanting to complete the mating ritual, Gianna's commitment issues and both of their pasts catching up with them.

This is another well written book that keeps you hoping, worrying, laughing, singing and much more from the first page until the last.
Most of the characters we k ow already, but getting to know them more/better is an added bonus and the new characters are just as interesting andkeep you on your toes.
I especially loved all the descriptions of the White Mountains, like I was there and when Sebastian is cooking, damn, getting hungry.
Also the comedy monents, the funny conversations between Gianna and Nova, they're hilarious.

This book is another winner and cannot wait for more...

Gianna feels something strange is about to happen after she catches a glimpse of some sirens near her club but tries to convenience herself that it was her imagination. What she didn't realize was that they had something planned to avenge what she did to them when they wanted her to hook up with a Demon, she calls Nova and after she tells Nova what she thinks is going on Nova calls the Network for assistance. Sebastian wants them to move in together but Gianna is so skittish because of her parents so she has a problem with commitment but he has his own plans for them he wants to take Gianna to meet his parents, and he meets a wolf from his old pack wanting a favor concerning his son, Sebastian denied him the help he requested at the time because of the past. Gianna refuses to go with him to the White Mountains. The morning that he was supposed to leave for the mountains she wouldn't look at him or let him fix her breakfast and rushed him out and she called Nova over because she was shocked. It gets serious on the mountain when Sebastian gets home. Another tantalizing paranormal adventure. Mystery, suspense, laughter, fun, pain, danger, romance, and love. HEA. I read a copy via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

This time my favorite feisty siren/human Gianna and her wolfy lover Sebastian are the center of attention in this 5th story revolving around the quirky bunch of the Salem Supernaturals.

Gianna is having visions of sirens in the ocean and then she catches a glimpse of one that was part of the sirens that accompanied her mother on her last visit, at her club.....Next day she wakes up and discovers after catching a glimpse in the mirror that she is aging.. There is no way she can let Sebastian see her like this especially now that he is going back to his old pack and face old scars, he would insist on staying to find out what was ailing her. What gorgeous wolf in his right mind would want to stay with an old woman anyway? The sirens have hit again, this time they have messed with her aging process.

Gianna is on her way to the mountains to see the man she loves maybe for the last time since the aging is progressing at a fast pace and if it keeps up this way she may very well, well you know. Will Sebastian still love her when he sees an old woman in her place.

Great story Ms Carlisle!

Bite Wedding
Gianna has it all. A wonderful retro rock nightclub called the Danger Zone that she owns. A hot chef for a boyfriend, named Sebastian. Sebastian thinks that Gianna is his mate. She looks good, leading a charmed life for a half human/ half siren, what could go wrong?
Everything is going well in her life then she thinks she sees a group of people, sirens, in the water. No, they could not be back to stir up more trouble. Maybe she is working too hard and not sleeping well. Then they appear at her club. She alerts Nova at the Supernatural Network.
Sebastian wants Gianna to commit to their relationship, with hilarious results they bump heads when Gianna gets second thoughts. A shifter from Sebastian’s old Pack in the White Mountains shows up and needs help. He helps him and his son. It makes him realize that he should go and see his parents. He wants Gianna to come with him. She means everything to him but does she feel the same way about him?
Everything starts to fall apart. Over night Gianna’s hair starts turning white, lines appear on her face – she is aging way too fast. She decides to drive to the White Mountains and find Sebastian before it is too late.
This is an action-packed sweet journey of love. Sebastian is so totally into Gianna. Gianna comes to realize that he is her everything. Gianna and her misheard lyrics, so much fun. You will just be enchanted by the great descriptions of the autumn colors. The great music references just make the story so realistic. I love these characters!

I have loved this series since book one and just when you think the author couldn’t come up with anything else, BAM oh yes she does and she blows you away! Gianna is a great character. She totally kicks ass, she hot and sexy, she owns a supernatural bar and she got a werewolf boyfriend. Life is looking up until she spies some old enemies nearby. Although she alerts the supernatural council, it’s too late and she finds herself cursed and growing older by the second.! On top of that Sebastian the boyfriend wants more of a commitment as he believes Gianna to be his true mate. OMG this is exciting, it’s thrilling, it’s got humour and damn it’s a good addition, no a great addition to this series.

This is book five of the Salem Supernaturals series and the main characters are Gianna, owner of a retro rock club Danger Zone and a supernatural with siren blood from a mother who deserted her at birth, and Sebastian, a wolf shifter and talented chef at Louisa’s restaurant in Salem. He has been in a relationship with Gianna for a while, with her being his fated mate, but she has serious issues with commitment and hasn’t even moved in with him, never mind allowed him to claim her as his mate through a bite! She has faced a lot of issues over the past year, especially from her siren mother, who had made a deal with demons to take over Salem, leaving them both fighting for their lives. Sebastian has his own scars from his youth in the Sacco wolf pack in the White Mountains, where the older wolves bullied and tormented him, calling him weak and leading to his life-long phobia with water. He left when he was a teenager and has never been back. When a shifter from his former pack turns up at his restaurant and wants help, he isn’t willing to help. Malcolm’s thirteen year old son Jackson has run away from the pack and Malcolm expected that he would turn up in the city and look for Sebastian.
On top of this, Gianna keeps thinking she is seeing sirens, once in the ocean outside and another time in her club! She doesn’t want to stop Sebastian going back to his pack, to take Jackson back, and to finally see his parents. After seeing what she thought was a siren she knew, connected with her mother, she awakes with part of her hair turned from red to full on white! Added to that are extra wrinkles around her eyes. The next day is even worse and she looks and feels about ninety. She is glad that Sebastian isn’t there to see her, but leaving her townhouse, she finds her mother and three other sirens waiting for her and they start taunting her straight away. It is obvious they are behind what has happened to her and whatever spell or curse has been placed on her. She calls on her best friend and witch, Nova, to see if she can help. They go to the Salem Supernatural Network to find a way to reverse this curse, but all efforts end up making things worse. Gianna has to start facing the fact she may not live for much longer, if she continues to age as fast as she has. It makes her face up to her love for Sebastian and having to say goodbye to him before she dies.
Matters have to move at a pace now, as she may not have a lot of time. She thinks Sebastian won’t want to see her or be with her as she now is, but she doesn’t fully understand the strength of the fated mate link and how he wants her, no matter what. He has his parents to face, as well as some of those bullies from his youth. He has to face his demons, but so will she as she faces her commitment fears. He will surprise her with his strength of feeling and commitment and a wedding will be occurring I the near future. Their problems with her mother and other sirens is not yet over, but it will push Sebastian to face his worst phobia to keep her safe. He may have left his pack all those years ago, but he has his own pack here now, with his roommates Diego, a vampire, and Lucas, a half dragon shifter, his mate Zoe, an elf, as well as Gianna’s best friend Nova, a witch. Together, they look out for each other and will fight to stop those trying to take Salem. A lovely wedding at the end and a fantastic honeymoon destination, with a bit of a bite to it. A great group of characters who look out for each other and are good friends. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I loved reading Sebastian and Gianna’s story. It’s well written and has awesome characters. The storyline is exciting and full of little twists that had me hooked from the start. Both the main characters have to face their fears and family for different reasons. For Sebastian, a wolf from his old pack comes into the restaurant he works at and asks for help in finding his son. The thing is this wolf bullied him mercilessly and was one of the reasons he left in the first place. When the boys ends up coming to him, Sebastian decides he needs to take him back, not only so he can see his parents for the first time in years, but also to get something special that he’d left behind. For Gianna, she has to face the sirens who are back and what’s worse is they have cursed her. So while Sebastian is on a trip to the mountains, Gianna and Nova are working with two witches to reverse the curse. When it looks like a reversal can’t be found and Gianna is at risk of dying, she decides to go to Sebastian. All the way there she worries and she’s very nervous when she finally meets him. His reaction though, never would she have guessed it would be what it is, and it makes her love him all the more for it. Commitment phone Gianna also realises what she could possibly lose and it gives her a new perspective on life. There’s passion, romance and steamy scenes in this book with a happily ever after ending. I highly recommend reading it.

Wow

This what is an amazing continuation of Gianna and Sebastian story. Her mother though is a right witch. That woman oh, I so wanted to reach into the pages in strangle her for what she did to Gianna. But I have to say Sebastian going home was the highlight of the story. Sometimes you have to go back to move forward. It's a shame what he had to go through as a child but if he hadn't he never would have met Gianna. I like to think there is some classic force that they're pushing us all where we need to be. I can't wait to read Lucas and Zoe's story. Or even maybe Pandora or Cassandra that would be fun.

This book tells Gianna and Sebastian's story, in this fifth story about the quirky bunch of the Salem Supernaturals.

Gianna wakes up one day to discover that she's ageing, Simon plans on going back to his old pack to face old scars, so she doesn't want him to know as he would insist on staying to help her find out why. Gianna worries that she could lose him forever if she can't reverse what the sirens have done.

An interesting and enjoyable storyline.

Gianna and Sebastian face their childhood issues

Great love story where they get to face their old issues but with the support of their mate. Poor Gianna had a miserable childhood after her mother abandoned her. Sebastian was picked on and belittled by his old pack. Together they grow stronger and with a little help from their friends enjoy being mates.
