I really struggled through this series and the book slumps just keep coming but I did make it through. Of course the final battle against good and evil really doesn't happen until the end. The book is filled with squabbles back in their natural world and this new one they find themselves in. Wren finds family, makes new friends, learns she has powers and actually gets knocked out before she even gets to kill her enemy or at the very least see them taken out. I'm disappointed for her lol. This series was tough for me to get through and that's probably just a me situation. Wren was an interesting character but by the end I just didn't care much about anyone. I'd like to give this book a do over sometime when my head is in a better place!
This finale to the series has it all. There's love, magic, family, death, and fated mates. We learn a lot in this one that brings the story full circle and concludes the storyline.
I loved everything about this story. It couldn't have been written better any other ways. Wren gets her HEA and I love towards the end how the author used all the titles in a special way.
Im not finished with the book yet im at 33% but Idk I like the concept and the story really but the inner monologues are a bit to much there's literally pages where the characters are just reflecting. It kinda gets old. I honestly can't remember if I had the same problem with the first book (I read it like last year but waited til the other 2 released) but I do know the second book had the same problem. OK so the ending was very anticlimactic. I'd have to rate this whole series like a 2.5 just because it's an OK read just a tad to much back and forty with feelings and then on top of that the inner monologues were just way to much way to often. So all in all I may round it to the higher point range of 2.5 and rate it a 3star.

I've said it once, but I'll say it again. THIS is a true enemies to lovers. This was definitely my favorite of the three books. It follows the events of the book 2 ending, and they're transported to a new realm, the human realm. And in this realm, we are introduced to more characters. If you've read Harper Shadow Academy, you'll see Willow and her men in this book. I'm always a sucker for crossovers, and I loved seeing them and the characters in this book interact. And we got to see Balial, a prince of hell who we see in Harper Shadow Academy. And OH MY GOODNESS. I forgot how much I loved him and his obsession over Willow. Like come on, Willow. Give him a chance, add him to your harem. Another thing I loved was everyone being introduced to the wonders of the human realm. Like a fully stocked fridge, a car, a shower, various foods, a phone, watching You on Netflix. It was so wholesome to read. And Bo, finally came to senses and just let himself be happy with Wren. And they went back to Prania, and fixed everything there and now all the demons and hunters can live in peace. And they're staying in the human realm, and they've become family with Willow and her men. I loved seeing all of them together. This was such a nice way to close out this series.
Favorite quotes/scenes:
-"For starters, humans don't take kindly to being threatened within an inch of their life." "How else am I supposed to get information out of them?" "Like this. With your words." "Seems ineffective." (Tremont and Wren)
-"So, you're telling me. This guy can stalk and murder people, and it's considered romance, but when I do it, it's bad?" (Bo talking about You)
-"I would traverse hell and back to worship at her feet. Even in death, I would come for her. I would die a thousand deaths just to be near her." (Wes)
-"You really brought that up here for me?" "What?" "The muffin. You got that for me?" "Of course, I did. I believe my exact thought was Damn this is delicious. I have to get one for Bo." (Bo and Wren, Bo was so cute here, he couldn't even fathom that he was always on Wren's mind and that she cared for him)
-"He was the catalyst that set my entire world on a different course. The person who finally made me feel alive for the first time in my life. He is one half of my soul, and not a single thing could ever make me love him any less." (Wren talking about Wes)
-"I like to consume myself in you. Bathe in all things Wren, if I may. It's simply not enough to be near you, I want my every waking thought to revolve around you." (Wes)
-"I'm certain that this lifetime wasn't our first together. And it won't be our last. There's something eerily familiar about being near her. Even her scent unlocks memories I can't quite locate. Like a gentle whisper of the past to remind me that she truly is my fated mate. That no matter what, we will return to one another." (Wes)
-"I never want to be apart from you. Not in this lifetime or the next. I can't explain it, Wren, but you need to know, you own me. Body and soul. My heart, my love, you can have it all. It's yours. Whether you choose to accept it or not, I will spend eternity worshipping at your feet and be forever grateful I'm privileged to breathe in the same air as you. I'm yours." (B0)
-"First, I was stolen by monsters. The I was fighting for them. Now, I'm fated to monsters. And I couldn't be any happier that I've fallen for the enemy." (Wren)
"Fated to Monsters" is the final book in the "Falling for the Enemy" series, and one of those books I've been aching to get my hands on. When you read a lot of reverse harem books and series, it happens that characters and storylines start to flow together, and that it's hard to remember what happened in the previous books when you want to pick up the next book after it's released. I never felt that way with this series. Wren, Wes, Bo and Dash are characters I felt connected to from the start; their personalities and storylines truly fascinated me and I couldn't wait to see how their story would ultimately end!
This final book in the series wraps up all the remaining questions within the storyline, and I loved these people experiencing earth for the first time and watch our world through their eyes. Honestly; it felt a little humbling, looking at all the things I tend to take for granted... Their time on earth also led to a meeting with Willow and her men, and I really loved seeing them again. They added an interesting element to the wrap-up of Wren's story and even though it's not necessarily to know about their story to read this book, I loved seeing it all come together. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to have all the puzzle pieces of different storylines click together like that, but it is masterfully done.
"Falling for the Enemy" was the first book/series I've read by this author, and I believe it will always be a series close to my heart. I loved the characters, the plot development, the personal growth these characters experience, the worldbuilding, ... This is a definite re-read for me in the future, and a series I can highly recommend.
Spicyness: 5/5 Plot: 5/5 Good writing: 4/5 Fun/Funny: 3/5 Overall: 5/5 stars!!! LOVED the whole series!! I only wish we'd gotten more spicy scenes with Bo after they were finally mated and a scene where Bo and Wren both went back to Prania to help rebuild, because I think they both still felt a little more at home there. A scene where they feel like they're finally closing that chapter of their lives stabilizing Prania for good, while Wes and Dash had quickly acclimated to earth. Or maybe where they all decided to do special recon or rescue missions to other realms to help those like Prania. I mean how DO phoenix, hellhound, alpha demon, and badass huntress, witch just settle into life on earth?! But overall a fantastic finish, and super sexy, fun, and engrossing to the max book! The whole series really!
I don't know. This series just didn't do it for me. While I liked the plot, I just felt like there was just too much repetitiveness in how the characters thought. It was the same stuff over and over again. I found myself skimming so I could read something interesting. Mind you, I liked the characters. I even liked their relationships. But I just couldn't get past the constant mental monologues. It was boring.
I also want to say that I didn't understand why they astral projected instead of crossing the border into Prania. I thought that whole thing was weird. They astral projected, but they could still fight and be hurt? It made no sense.
I honestly don't know if I recommend this series or not. I guess it has enough positives to be worth reading. However, I won't say it's fabulous or anything.
This was an absolutely perfect conclusion to Wren’s story! First off, I HAVE to say how ridiculously happy it made me to see some very special faces in this conclusion, I just love them so much! As Wren’s story continues it’s not without its hardships, but throughout it all she has her men and her side and the help of some unlikely allies and some very welcome and happy allies. Wren and her men continue to fight for their home and the people continuing to suffer under Parla’s reign. But also to fight for the future and happily ever after they want. My review doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface and do this story justice, but I will say it was truly fantastic and certainly worth the read <3
This series needs more reviews as it’s not getting enough credit. Absolutely sensational of a series. One of a kind, unique with some fab twists, surprises and plots. The story is everything you can want in a paranormal romance. And considering it’s a RH it’s not too much.
Luna Pierce is a new author for me and this is the first series I’ve read from her collection. I loved her writing and her imagination is incredible.
It’s a huge must read from me, anybody that’s a fan of J Bree, Sam Hall, Tate James, Amelia Hutchins and Jaymin Eve then you won’t want to miss this, sorry I’m a huge fan of PNRs so I apologise for missing some amazing authors, just want to give anybody coming across this review an idea of how Luna Pierce fits in with these amazing authors.
Wow! This series was non-stop action from book 1 to book 3. It pulls you in and doesn’t let go as it is such a gripping series. Book 3 continues where book 2 leaves off. There are moments that have you laughing and then there are moments when you feel the anger right alongside of these amazing characters. We see so much happening in such a short span of time that it just keeps you glued to it. I love Wren and the guys throughout the series. They definitely have fantastic chemistry between them all. I loved the ending as it was definitely the cream on top of the pie. I would love to have seen more of them they are that good. This is absolutely a must read. It will not disappoint.
You never disappoint ! This was sooooo cool , my god the way you brought the other books together in this must have been so hard to do and you did it beautifully . I have always loved your books and the way you did this was fantastic . I have always , always loved wren, dash, No and Wes , something about them I was drawn to them from day one . So following wren along the journey was amazing !
Oh can’t give away to much but everyone ! This is a a must read , the way everything comes together is magical :-) The writing is fantastic and so is the author! God read!! This is a must read.
Faded to the monsters is the conclusion to the falling for the enemy seires by Luna Pierce. I started reading Luna when book one of this came out since then I have devoured her back list you will always get a great book and a fantastic series when you pick up anything with Luna‘s name on it. I would have devoured this in one sitting if it hadn’t been for work. This starts out where the second books ends. I loved Wren learning about modern day earth and it’s food and entertainment. I loved the spice and Luna definitely knows how to write great scenes!! With the conclusion of Wren’a story I can’t wait to see what is next for Luna Pierce.
I was excited and a little bit sad with the ending of the Falling for the Enemy series. I love these characters, Wren, Bo, Dash and Wes are all great characters. Watching these characters grow over the books was amazing and I fell in love with them! Also this story was so awesome how it weaved perfectly in this world.
In this final book we get all of our questions answered, and seeing how they see our world on earth. It was such a cool piece of the storyline that I’ve never read in a book before! I loved the cross over *wink* you don’t need to have read it, but it definitely made it so much more interesting! If you’re wanting more of Luna’s work, definitely check that series out.
This series was so amazing, and I can’t wait to re-read this series in the future.
I have been excited to finish this series, but I'm not sure if it was me just not being in my paranormal/fantasy era anymore or what but I had a hard time getting through this one... The concept was great, the spice was hot, and the big battle was exciting; it was all there, but the in betweens had me fading off a bit...
All in all tho I enjoyed it and the series. I may try to listen again when I'm back in a paranormal groove and I'd definitely recommend it to others who are!
The audio was fantastic too. DUET narration with Marnye Young and Tor Thom and really well produced too. I enjoyed this listen. Thank you so much to Audio Sorceress for the advanced copy!
Absolute perfect ending to this series! We pick up where we left with Wren and Co. trying to get to Arthlia and we are not left disappointed in the journey she and her monsters take through this book! The tie-ins to other books is surprising and exciting! I don’t want to give anything away so be ready for all sorts of feels, especially frustration with one of the guys. However, that super long scene at almost the end was fabulous and I wish we could’ve had more 😉! I’m hopeful we’ll get another glance at Wren with her guys & the other group sometime in the future. 4.5⭐️
Well, this has been a ride. From book one to now, my emotions have been all over the place butttt I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the series. Wren continued to show her badass nature while claiming her men. Honorable mention to Bo….because as much as he was frustrating, he also kept the suspense high. Of course, he was my favorite and he added to the fact, I just couldn't put this book down.
If you love why choose - fantasy romances, this book (well the whole series) is a must-read!
I can't.. I have no words. This was truly an amazing book! Though at times Bo, annoyed the hell out of me! But he was and still is easily one of my favorites! I love that they were able to go back and get the justice all of the demons deserve!
I love the growth of Bo as well, of course, he still has his childish tendencies. But honestly, what male doesn't?! And even the growth of Wren from the beginning to the end... I'm sad it's over 😭😭 but it was truly an amazing ending!

I LOVED this series. Wren was a tough B!TCH that kicked butt and took all the names, but when it came to her men she did anything and everything to right her wrongs, keep them and their loved ones safe, and learned about herself and how to open up too. This is the last book of the trilogy and that makes me sad cuz I just can't get enough of these characters even Bo who I want to throw off a bridge till the end lol. Dash and Wes have been sweethearts since book one but Dash since moment one. I did not see the twist that this was gonna make from chapter one to the near twist by the end. she also was not joking about the lengthy spicy scene and it was AMAZING.
I loved the conclusion to Wren, Bo, Wes, and Dash's story! I do wish we could of gotten more about Dash and his past but he was so sweet either way. Bo was of course most frustrating and I didn't expect anything less. And of course I loved how dedicated Wes was to Wren. I absolutely devoured this series in what seems like no time at all. Loved the ending but sad to see it finished!
This was a wonderful ending to this series!!!! I love that there were crossovers from the other series as well. It was really awesome how Luna put everything together with all the characters. I really felt for Wren and the guys and everything they had to go through to help their people!!! Hopefully we will see more of them in the future as well!!!!
This is the third and final book of the series and my favorite by far! There's alot that goes on to tie up and conclude the story. But we get to see Wren and her men get their HEA. It's incredibly well written and the characters are amazing! I am so glad that I read this series! It's definitely been added to a favorites shelf in my bookshelf!
Such a sweat HEA after such a long road. I love how Willow and her men is brought in. It just adds to the dynamics of the world. If you haven’t read her series, Shadow Academy, don’t worry, you can read them before or after this book. Sad to see this series come to an end, but all things must eventually do so.
Wren, Bo, Dash and Wes our back for one last tale. Which means any questions that we have get answered in this book. Sadly, that also means it's the end of the series. The characters development throughout continues and develops between each other as well as themselves. There was never a dull moment in this book and I'm sad to see it in.
"First, I was stolen by monsters. Then I was fighting for them. Now, I’m fated to monsters. And I couldn’t be any happier that I’ve fallen for the enemy." This book three gives us a HEA for Wren, Wes, Dash and Bo. The spicy scenes are h0t with the one I wanted to happen finally making it into book three. Wren and all four of her monsters...H0T as H3LL!
Sad to see this series end but the way that it ended was done perfectly.
Between the FMC Wren and her guys I was drawn in from the very beginning. I also really liked getting to see other characters show up from other series as well.
Did not want to put done. Wanted to know what was gonna happen. Wanted to know what Bo was gonna do. The anticipation of how it would end was there. When I did have to put it done couldn't wait to get back to reading it.
Favorite book of the three, Willow is a DOLL (I’ll be reading her books). Imma need a book with Diego bc I love him so much. I enjoyed them being on Earth and experiencing everything, I liked the fighting, I liked Wrens tenacity in this book. Very good!

I've decided that I dont like this authors writing style, its tedious, boring and unimaginative. Dont tell us, show us. Pages n pages of inner thoughts etc are boring ad fuck.
This is the third book in the series, and it was an absolutely excellent series. Wren is so bada$$, and her guys…. Whew, bad in so many ways! Wren and her family are something I want more of- I need to go read about Willow!
