River River might be new to the paranormal world but that doesn’t mean he’ll give in to what others think. He’s spent the last month getting to know the man who claims to be his mate. Little by little, River has seen past the surface and fallen in love with Anton. But can two boys really last happily for eternity?
Anton Anton hopes he’s proven himself to River and shown his human mate that he’s the man River needs in his life. Everything is perfect between them. Almost. Their desires as so close they actually match, but without a designated top, Anton doesn’t know where that leaves them or their future.
Rainier Rainier, King of the Fae, stumbles across his two mates in an intimate and compromising position, and knows he’s the Daddy they need. River and Anton are everything he’d ever hoped his mates would be. One sweet and needy, the other a sassy smartass, but both of them are perfect.
The fates promise that their chosen(s) are a perfect match, but outside forces are intent on ripping these three mates apart. It will take all the power of their family and friends for this king to save his two mates and see if they can find their own version of happily ever after.
This book is an exploration of a relationship between three (male) consensual adults who are looking for love and acceptance. All characters in sexual situations are over the age of consent. No cheating or cliffhangers, and an HEA is a guarantee. This book contains Daddy kink. One Daddy with two boys.
I’m really enjoying this series. The stories are light and fluffy with a side of kink. Really good palate cleansers for the higher angst books I’ve been into lately.
I just wish they’d be polished more. I don’t typically notice typos or punctuation errors. This book is riddled with random quotation marks. Commas aren’t used correctly. There are a couple spots where it’s a space, then a comma, then the continuation of a sentence. Like ,this. Nothing too big but enough that it was definitely noticeable.
So this technically shouldn’t be read as a standalone as the MCs were introduced in previous books and there are several references to past events, but I don’t feel like I would have enjoyed it any more or less if I had read them. While I liked the characters’ distinct personalities and their dynamic, the lack of editing was really distracting.
First of all I absolutely love River and am so happy that he got his story told!! I wasn’t worried about Anton I knew that he would turn out good in the end! Rainier was a very nice edition to be their mate! King of the Fae brought new people into our found family that we can love too!!
In this captivating addition to a paranormal romance series, readers are introduced to a unique and tender love story that intertwines the lives of three distinct characters: River, Anton, and Rainier. The book explores themes of love, acceptance, and the search for a fulfilling relationship within the framework of a polyamorous bond between two humans and a fae king. The narrative delves deep into the dynamics of their relationship, offering a nuanced portrayal of their emotional and physical connections.
River, a human new to the paranormal world, embodies resilience and an open heart. His journey from skepticism to love highlights his capacity for growth and acceptance. Anton, also human, complements River perfectly, sharing a deep bond that is on the brink of blossoming into something more. However, the absence of a clear dominant partner leaves them in a state of loving limbo, unsure of how to fully realize their relationship.
Enter Rainier, the King of the Fae, whose chance encounter with River and Anton not only completes their dynamic but also introduces the stability and guidance they crave. Rainier's character is beautifully crafted, embodying strength, care, and an innate understanding of his mates' needs and desires. His role as a Daddy to River and Anton is portrayed with sensitivity and depth, highlighting the emotional and psychological aspects of their BDSM dynamic.
The narrative is skillfully woven, balancing the complexities of a triad relationship with the external challenges they face. The threat from outside forces adds a layer of tension and urgency to the story, testing the strength of their bond and their ability to come together to protect their love. The author does an excellent job of creating a sense of community and support around the main characters, emphasizing the importance of chosen family and friends in overcoming adversity.
What sets this book apart is its celebration of diversity in relationships and the portrayal of consent, communication, and mutual respect as the foundation of a healthy polyamorous relationship. The inclusion of Daddy kink is handled with care, contributing to the depth of the characters' interactions without overshadowing the emotional core of their relationship.
The promise of no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed HEA provides a comforting assurance to readers, allowing them to fully invest in the characters' journey toward finding their own version of happily ever after. The exploration of the relationship between River, Anton, and Rainier is a testament to the power of love to transcend conventional boundaries, offering a heartwarming and inspiring story that resonates with readers looking for a romance that defies the ordinary.
Overall, this book is a beautiful exploration of love, acceptance, and the complexities of forming a family in the paranormal world. It is a must-read for fans of MM romance and those seeking a story that thoughtfully and passionately explores the dynamics of a polyamorous relationship with a supernatural twist.
Human River is new to the paranormal world and has spent the last month getting to know Dragon Anton who claims to be his mate. Little by little he has seen past the surface and fallen in love with him. How can two boys be together for eternity? Anton has tried but without a designated top where does that leave them or their future together? Ranier is King of the Fae and stumbles across his two mates in an intimate and compromising position and knows he is the Daddy that they both need as River and Anton are everything he’d ever hoped his mates would be with one sweet and needy, the other a sassy smartass, but both of them are perfect. Outside forces are intent on ripping these three mates apart - it will take all of the power of friends and family to give them the chance for a life together.
I loved this story with the final piece of the puzzle showing exactly how River and Anton could be together as the missing part was their Daddy Ranier. I loved the conclusion of the defeat of the outside forces which were richly deserved. I loved the pixies - we all need a pixie friend. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB and Daddy/boy dynamics.
I am so happy Anton got his redemption here. He was so unlikable when we first met him. Digging deeper into his past and the reasons behind his behavior was so sad. I liked that River was willing to give him a chance but still reserve judgment as he went along. He and Anton being together was a tentative thing until Daddy Rainier showed up.
Silver Daddy Rainier was exactly what both River and Anton needed. He was a good balance between the two and he got his needs fulfilled by his bratty and soft boys. I also loved being introduced to the Fae realm as well. So many interesting possibilities there.
This was a quick, sexy and feel good read. Though a book or two of the series have been hit or miss for me, this one was definitely a hit.
The whole relationship between River and Anton just happens somewhere between the last book and this one and they are 75% towards being mates and you missed the whole thing until Ranier comes along. Seems Anton was pretty much a basket case most of the time, considering he was a mega-asshole. COULD he hide it that well? Maybe. Anyway, you are just kind of dumped in to their relationship. And there are always so many grammar and spelling errors in these books. Things there is really no excuse for. I'm pretty easy going but they aren't getting better. It's like they are just hammered out and slammed up figuring no one will care.
When we first meet Anton, he's a bit of a jerk. Sent by their father to entice the Alpha, Axel, home; he comes off as cold and pompous. But it's all an act to protect his submissive side. Which his mate, River discovers when he decides to give Anton a chance. They soon find their third mate, Rainier, King of the Fae. Both River and Anton have insecurities and doubts as to their fitness as anyone's mate. The way Rainier addresses their issues is quite sweet. This series just gets better and better.
Nothing like reading a book that has brats and cute little dragons. Well only one cute little dragon. Athena Stellar brought three characters together that fit each other perfectly. A King of the Fae, a human, and a dragon. When the King of the Fae introduces himself, the dragon runs and the human screams. It’s cute but sad at the same time. Trauma has a grip on them but our Fae King is here to rescue both boys. This is a sweet slow angst story with protectiveness that each boy needs from their dominant male. 5 stars ⭐️ indeed.💜
The story was good. The only reason it got three stars is because there’s a bunch of writing errors, half written words here and there or double words. Made it a little confusing at times.
It was a great story. I love that Anton’s father got what he deserved for the abuse he inflicted on Anton. I’m so glad he got to be happy with River and Rainier in the end. I’m glad rivers character stop being so bratty and was developed into the character I knew he could be. Rainier was a surprise I wasn’t expecting a Fae King lol.
Absolutely loved it this series by Athena Steller is amazing can't get enough. Rainer, River & Anton WOW the chemistry between them is so hot and sexy it sizzles a daddy and is two special boys one cute, shy and needy the other bratty, naughty but loves to tease both of them fated mates it's so beautiful love when Anton and Bryce are playing with water guns so adorable cutie overload. can't wait for more in series recommend so much. ❤️❤️
Okay I fell for River in the last book with Lawson and Drake. River is so funny and confident and just unapologetically himself. Anton did Not make a good first impression but you see fairly quickly he's not what you think. He's sweet and in need of a lot of love and protection. Rainer is King of the Fae and just what these two men need. He's powerful, kind, and just what each guy needs. We also get to see more of the family. Can't wait for Levi's book
I i’m reading this series in order and I like it a lot however, this one needed a good editing before being put out to the public. There were lots of misuse of word errors, some mixups with the two names River and Rainier. A few places just had missing words in the sentence. All this does is take me out of the action, even though I enjoyed the story
I really love this series. It always takes me a minute to catch back up with who is who and what happened during the last book but it all comes flooding back. This trio was super cute together although it was a little too short for me. I wanted to see more of Anton's little side not just peeks of it and I really wanted that spanking scene.
Satisfying and goingvto be my new book i read over and over
I lovedcthis book. I lauged, i was on the edge of my seat in places, and I gyshed about it to my roommate, the atraightvine, who would normally nit read anything of the sort. I deeply love this series even if it occasionally guves me nughtmares, which onky shiws how well written it is.
Sweet, entertaining series with low angst and perfectly imperfect characters that are perfect for each other.
4 books out now but more to come. Each could probably be read stand-alone but much better read in order. Each book features a different couple who get their HEA but the secondary MC's all show up randomly throughout each other's stories and the timeline progresses.
SO many annoying editing issues. The biggest one this time were the opening quotes at the beginning of a paragraph. "This is how to start a new paragraph, right?! I liked most of the story, but I think I need to take a little break from in-head editing while I read. I'm sure I'll come back to the series later.
This series has been a blast to read. I love meeting the new characters while others are finding their mates. And all the different paranormals together in Axel’s found family make it even better. I can’t wait to get more stories.
I really love this paranormal Daddy/little series and if it wasn’t for the editing issues it would have been a 5 from me but sadly they were too numerous and overall distracting from the great story
Great story and wonderful catching up with these adorable characters! I love the different shifters and chosen family! Anton, River and Rainier were sweet and wonderful together!
I never really liked MMF or MMM books. Hence, I didn’t read the second book from these series. I tried this book and I wish it was just Anton and Rainier together. Anton was just adorable. He reminds me of Bryce (book 1) I just didn’t like 3 mates.
I was just looking for something to read and came across these books and haven't put them down. I love the characters and their stories, can't wait to read more about this family especially Levi :)
I enjoyed reading this book. It was sweet seeing River and Anton connect with their mate. I liked seeing the supporting characters as well. I believe Fabian became my fav character.
River and Anton were so sweet together and then Rainier comes to meet with Anton's brother, Axel and realizes that River and Anton are his mates. Love it! Who wouldn't want to mate with a dragon and the King of the Fae! And have a pixie for a friend.
It's sweet and it's cute but I needed a longer story because we had three main characters and more depth was needed. And besides there's really no age play here just a bit of daddy kink and I was expecting more age play.
Am loving this series of books they never fail to put a smile on my face. So easy to read low angst and lots of love, my idea of a fluffy book 😍 I'll never tire of reading about this family
This author writes wonderful male/male/male stories. And littles. I loved them. All the characters are complex and they're coming together hot, sexy and sweet. River is sweet and scared. Anton is hiding and Ranier is devoted. Great read. I highly recommend it.
