Wonderfully imaginative. A delightful thrill ride. Needs a serious proofread and edit....still. really. I'm familiar with the difference between "british English " and "American English ", but the spastic commas, unnecessary apostrophes, incorrect conjugations, continuity gaffs, oh, never mind, you're a great story teller, perhaps time and experience will help.
To be honest, I wasn't sure I was enjoying the first book, struggled with the characters and the storyline but suddenly, found it all quite riveting. Was desperate for Amanda to succeed, along with her friends. Great characters, believable and strong and a well developed storyline. Loved the series very much.
This is the peniitulate collection of Amanda and her travels from clueless beginnings to famous Magi of the Galaxy and in between. With 12 books this is a great deal with some great character development and a full story with no hangers.
The characters were good. Lots of action and suspense. Got a little hard to follow towards the end, but it worked out. Crude language was annoying. Interesting stuff. Good read.
I really liked this series, well written, but I got a little bit lost when it went to space. Taking a break will check back in with Amanda in a few weeks.
