Every story has two sides and it was time she heard his…
If I could give this book more then 5 ⭐then I definitely would have done that. This was one of my most anticipated book releases of the year and it did not disappoint, everything about Dev and Avantika's story was just perfect. I was soo excited for the release that I literally was counting minutes for the clock to struck at midnight and when it did, that's it, immediately downloaded it and finished a 380 pages book in less then 24 hours and that is a record for me🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. I was feeling all kinds of emotions while reading, I was happy that finally Dev got what he wanted, I was sad nobody trusted him, I was sobbing when the truth came out, this was one book I read with tears constantly in my eyes happy and sad both. That moment when he realises he has a son with the woman he alway dreamed of having a family with was one of the most heartbreaking moment in the book. There was no dull moment in this book, each and every scene was totally worth the wait. And Avantika Rajpoot is one of Sapna Bhog's best written female character ever, I love all of her heroines and now Avi now has a permanent place in my heart (and so does Sanjana, I love her equally🥰🥰🥰) I totally get it why Dev fell head over heels in love with her and could never get over her😉😉😉😉. Talking about Dev Luthra oh what can I say I mean that man charmed all of us even before his book was released, even after being a "villain" in all the previous books that itself speaks volumes🫠🫠🫠 The character arch that he had from being just an possessive lover to a doting father was so beautifully written. This is a must read series for everyone, and definitely my favourite of the year.

Some characters intrigue and compel you to hear their story; like Dev Luthra. I have waited the whole year for this one book. As I said, Sapna saves the best for the last, and boy, what a befitting finale.
This book begins with Avantika’s anxiousness regarding her 12 days together with Dev. Grudgingly, she goes to Dev, who whisks her off to her favourite place. Through a series of incidents and their time together, Avi, who staunchly hates Dev, notices how Dev still treats her as his world, respecting her personal space, which is contrary to what she expected him to be and starts to doubt that night and Dev’s role in it. Despite the years, their chemistry is still crackling, adding fuel to their proximity. Slowly, she softens toward him and is ready to hear his story of what really happened that fateful night. What is Dev’s story? Will the Rajpoots believe him? How will he react to knowing about Neil? To know more, you gotta read it.
Dev, in a word, is WOW. I already loved him from before, but after knowing him, his unfailing, unconditional love for Avi, his yearning for his lost friends, his brotherly love for Sanjana, and his pride as a father, I am besotted. His love, patience, suffering, sacrifice, guilt, revenge, everything about him just bowls me over. The Dev we see here is sexy and flirty. His scenes with Avi are hot, fiery and sentimental alike. Avi is a surprise, sassy and confident in her skin. Her dilemma about trusting Dev or not when she slowly learns about his truth is beautifully narrated. I felt a plethora of emotions here. I bawled when Dev recounted ‘the’ story of what happened that night and his face-to-face with Neil and was the happiest when he reunited with his friends. Rajiv and Sheena are adorable, esp the bickering between Rajiv and Dev is hilarious. Also Sheena and Dev reminds you of Vihaan and Sanjana's banters. Romantic, racy and eloquently narrated, it’s a thrilling read with a twist at the end. The epilogue is the cutest, binding the series together with a surprise at the end. I can go on and on but will stop here. So without further ado, READ THIS NOW.
In the first installment of the series, my anticipation to delve into the lives of Dev and Avantika was insatiable. As I progressed through the previous three books, my mind engaged in a constant game of speculation, grappling with the question of whether Dev was truly a virtuous man or a malevolent force.
The past of Dev and Avantika is depicted in a beautifully crafted manner, allowing the reader to empathize with Dev and experience his profound anguish. Dev's sacrifices knew no bounds as he lost everything in his quest to safeguard his family and keep them close. Tragically, he became the villain in the eyes of those he held dear. The chemistry between Dev and Avantika during their reunion is electric, and the introduction of Neil at precisely the right moment adds a touch of perfection to the narrative. The depiction of the father-son bond is flawlessly executed, and Dev's unwavering love surpasses all obstacles. His patience, sacrifices, guilt, and the extraordinary journey of suffering and revenge left me astounded. The encounters between Rajiv and Dev were undoubtedly a highlight, brimming with hilarity, jealousy, and endless entertainment.
Overall, 'The Sinner' stands as a remarkable conclusion to the series, weaving together intricate character arcs and an enthralling storyline. While it may deviate from certain expectations, it nevertheless remains a compelling and satisfying read.
Highly recommended. Must read. Dev and Avantika are magic ✨❤️
Sapna'a books are more than just novels; they whisk the reader on a fascinating journey. I've been reading her books since the beginning, and I'm constantly in awe of the wonderful worlds she conjures. My Sinner - Dev and Avantika's story was highly anticipated read on my TBR. I was waiting with bated breath for this couple to have their story. And let me tell you, this story is the one that made me swoon, cry, laugh, and everything else in between. Dev is far more better than I expected. Despite having a cold heart, he is the man with a sensitive side buried within. He captured my heart with his sensual thoughtfulness and magnanimous qualities. Avantika on the other hand, is a brave warrior princess. Despite being surrounded by her domineering brothers and possessive Dev, she can really hold her own. The plot that brings together all the characters is brilliant. It is a well written and nicely balanced interplay of drama, romance, passion, and suspense. Thanks to Sapna's excellent writing and storytelling ability, the plot flows easily and seems like a stroll in the park. I loved it, and I know all of you bookworms would adore it too. So, What are you waiting for, then? Dive into this story and experience magic, right away.
Dev.... OMG from where should I start... The monster, evil and cunning villian portrayed in the prequels.
This is the story of that Villian who actually was never an enemy or a villian. The situations made him behave that way that fateful night.
Along with the Rajpoots, the too lost everything... His best friends, the love of his life, Avantika and had to send away his sister Sanjana.
Avantika... A true warrior and sassy Spitfire, wise and warm hearted woman who to protect her brothers agrees to Dev's bargain of spending 12 days with him, the one because of whom her family suffered so much.
Avantika held a secret, Neil and what happens when Dev knows about him. What happens in the 12 days. What actually was Dev's situation is in the book.
So many twists and turns that will keep you on the edge.
The story also highlights about true love which never reduces with time or by physical appearance. It's about the feelings and how the person made you feel so long ago and even now.
The book is filled with humours conversations with friends and family. An emotional ride which was totally worth reading!!
The characters in this book series are gorgeous, confident, successful and strongly connected with each other. This book was a roller coaster of emotions. Sexy, dark with a heartwarming ending.
I was hungry for this book and finished it in one day and now I'm feeling empty that it is over. Dev & Avantika was a story that I've been waiting for from the time the first book in the series released. I knew they are going to be my favourite and yes, they are.
While Dev was enigmatic throughout the series and had us all hooked and excited, I must say I'm blown away by Avantika. My perception of her through the books and what I discovered here are diametrically opposite and I LOVE it. Avantika had Keya's headstrongness, Rashi's spunk, Aisha's playfulness, Diya's spirit, in short Avantika felt like a culmination of all of Sapna's heroines and I must say Avantika is the best ever creation of Sapna Bhog - the ultimate badass heroine from her stable. I loved how original she was, her reactions at every point defied cliche and yet felt authentic to her character. She was strong yet vulnerable, headstrong and sensible, playful but never cliche. I love her and I can totally understand why Dev never moved on.
After I finished the book a thought occured to me. What exactly hooks me to Sapna's books? The answer came to me in a beat. It is the moments she create. Her Sehgal series is my favourite but I can swear that I often don't like her initially jerk heros but I still enjoy the romance. Why? It is bz Sapna is an expert in creating moments that forever etch in your mind. No matter how many years have passed I still remember vividly her characters and the moments they paint in my mind.
In this book, my favourite moment has to be Avi & Dev in that parade in London. I could see it in my eye - Avi walking around with the camera around her neck clicking away like a pro while Dev admired her in between the bickerings. They felt so free and young in that one scene that it just connected with me deeply.
While obsessing over this story since some time, I've had my own theories about how things turned out in the past and how it will unfold in present etc. And I must say Sapna has managed to surprise me. Yes I guessed some of it but she did not kill the thrill for me and that was possible only because she is a master storyteller.
The only ire I felt was Dev being so stony with Avi when things come out. He did not for a moment stop to think what it might have been like for a 19 year old to discover she was pregnant with the man who orchestrated her parents murder. The hardships she might have gone through to raise that child amidst financial crisis and life threats. Not a second does Dev thank her even in his mind for how well his son turned out. It irked me more when he pined all that praise for her brothers. Yes their love must be appreciated but Avi deserves more for keeping that child, seeing her tormentor's face daily in him and bringing him up with such goodness. Nobody can trump a mother's influence. I just wish it was acknowledged by Dev, especially when he had no qualms in acknowledging his friends influence and be angry at Avi for hiding his son.
Overall this is a perfect conclusion and I must congratulate Sapna for exceeding our expectations and being able to bring in twists and turns that we didn't expect. Kudos can't wait for more from you. Sad that this is ending here. But I hope we will get to see Avi & Dev in future cameos.
Book: My Sinner: An Indian billionaire enemies to lovers romance (Bond of Brothers Book 4) Author: Sapna Bhog Formate: Kindle ebook Pages: 380 Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
From the first book itself, the curiosity to know about Dev and Avantika was too high. While reading the previous three in the series my mind was playing the game of judging Dev as a good man or a bad man. In some parts, my heart was like Dev is a good man maybe he has his dilemma to take such a drastic step then, but at the same time, the other half of my heart was like Dev is such a horrible man I have read ever. So after so much tussling and a long wait, 'The Sinner' is finally here and I am so thrilled to read such a fine end to the series.
Dev and Avantika's past has been scripted beautifully, you could feel the pain of Dev and his sufferings. Dev lost everything to keep his family safe and near to him but he became the villain in everyone's eyes. The reunion chemistry is 🔥, and Neil's entry was the apt scene. The father-son bond is pictured perfectly, plus Dev's unconditional love took it all. His patience, sacrifice, guilt, his journey of suffering, and way of revenge flabbergasted me. Rajiv and Dev's encounters were a highlight, they were hilarious, full of jealousy, and lots of fun. Avantika and Neil's Harry Potter coded language and Dev's confused face was also great scene to read. Overall a great read👍
**For me Avantika's character went down as she is shown as more vulnerable and weak than bold and fierce. Also, she turned towards Dev quite easily leaving behind his brothers who gave 12 damn years only for her safety and to keep her and her child safe from the devil world.
There are books you read, and then, there are books you feel... This one makes you feel, just like all of Sapna Bhog's books till date
What an amazing wrap up for an exciting series...A series that kept us on our toes right from book 1 till end of book 4
Like everyone else, I expected more, and I m glad I got more ❤️
This book took me through the most amazing emotional roller-coaster I have ever been through 😅
I din't want Dev and Avantika's time together in London to end....to end without resolving their differences ...to end without getting back together.... but I din't know it would only get better from then on 😄 the kahani me twists din't allow me to put the book down once i started it and the coming together of the entire gang just had me smiling and happy all the time
I m still in the bond of brothers daze and I am sure I will live in the Rajpoot- Luthra world for a while now 😄❤️
I love the international standards maintained by Sapna while writing her books - perfect story, well researched detailing, gripping narrative, zero grammatical errors . It just adds to the joy of reading ❤️
I am so looking forward to Rajeev and Sheena's story now, especially after the way they spoke about it in this book 😍
Dev Luthra is the monster of the lives of the Rajpoot's. He has made a deal with the Rajpoot's to have Avantika Rajpoot with him for 12 days. 12 days for the 12 years, Avantika is scared as she does not know what exactly Dev wants from her. Yet she goes to him to fulfill her part of the deal. What Avantika doesn't expect is the way Dev treats her like she is his world. After spending a few days she seems to be confused about her views on Dev. She feels there is more to the story about that dreadful night and Dev should be given a chance to tell his side of the story.
What happened that night? Will Dev be able to tell his side of the story? What happens when Dev finds out about the existence of his son Neil? Will Avantika, Aaryan, and Vihaan give Dev a chance? This is the 4th and final book in the series. It was the perfect conclusion to the series. I loved every bit of this story. Thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Dev and Avantika. This book had each emotion described so wonderfully. Be it Dev and Avantika's love for each other, the bond of friendship between the Rajpoots and Rajiv Mehra, or the father&son relationship between Dev and Neil. Highly recommended. One of my 5-star reads of 2022.
Agreeing to her enemy's terms, Avantika tries her bessst to protect her family, her secret, and her legacy.
living with Dev Luthra, will every thing trnspire just a avantika thought.?
Will Mr.Luthra, Make up with his long lost love , will he find what is Avantika hiding?
.
The major story every reader i'm sure must be waiting since the release of book one. this is s o skiillfully written, it's like the lotus bud, you need t o peel every petal very softly and ta..da you have the beautiful lotus in front of you to offer to the almighty,. This series is the same. every book peels one petal, and with this book, its a complete beautiful lotus flower. We readers were looking forward for The villan to come out ... He came then what???? OMG Sapna, you went beyond our thoughts. ITs neither the pervious generation love triangle, its not the power, its not the money........Its something else. its above the guessing game friends. one has to read to know. I Loved the tactics sapna followed , i mean.. just one glimpse of Dev in every book and the final one is boom... just an explosive..
Great book, Great writing, Great mind for sketching such a plot... 5 starts to the book 5 stars to the author. Sapna.. you rule my Bookish heart......
Dev and Avi had intrigued me right from the start of this series and I kept waiting to read their story through every new book. But I am so glad I waited because this book is so well worth the wait.
Every mystery is solved and all loose ends tied in a neat knot. Dev had been a villain and a sinner but by the end I rejoiced his redemption. He endured so much and loved so much. Avantika's heartbreak had been my own for so long and I jumped in joy when she was finally healed.
Dev and Avantika's happily ever after is my favourite and Avantika is one of the best heroines created by Sapna Bhog. This series is must read and this finale not to be missed. I loved every second spent reading this engrossing story, and it aced all my expectations.
Prepare for a wild ride of emotions, suspense, and romance!
Meet Dev Luthra, the villain of the Bond of Brothers series (or so we thought). After reading the previous books, I was intrigued by Dev's character and eager to learn more about his life. And boy, did I get a shocker!
When Dev demands 12 days from Avantika, she's forced to accept for the sake of her family. But little does Dev know, Avantika's hiding a massive secret. Will she be able to guard it? (Read to find out!)
What I loved: - Dev's character development (from villain to swoon-worthy hero) - Avantika's strength, independence, and caring nature - The suspenseful plot twists and turns - Humor that'll leave you laughing out loud (that scene with Vihaan and Tiya?)
The only thing that left me a little disappointed was the lack of bonding between Dev and Neil. But hey, the love story makes up for it!
In conclusion, 'My Sinner' is a must-read for suspense and romance fans. With its strong female characters, humor, and swoon-worthy heroes, this series has won my heart.
The Bond of Brothers is a wonderful and intriguing series to read as each and every book of Sapna Bhog is. What's more? It ends with a promise to reveal Rajiv and Sheena's story too.
Apart from protagonists, the character of Rajiv Mehra, who has not been given much importance before, not even in Sehgals' book series, has been given quite a definition here. I always wondered about his and Sheena's story right from the first book in the above mentioned series but it looks like we are going to have that story now after a long wait.
Most of Sapna's books do link with Sehgals' and their friends group and she does it so naturally that always leaves me mesmerised.
Thank you Sapna for giving us readers such wonderful stories and books to read. I am your fan forever.
Dev, I loved you for how you protect her with your life, and nothing ever comes above you to her. It was heart-wrenching to see you cherish her at the cost of your own.
Avantika, you are awesome, brave, and sassy. Your antics and trust in him stole the show. You saved him even when you believed he didn't.
Dev and Avi's book is a rollercoaster of emotions that kept me awake till midnight, reeling through one shock after another. It was heartwarming to watch the couple rekindle, revive, and heal from their pasts and come together despite the hurdles in their path. Neil is such a cute and smart character. In fact, every character in this book justifies the bond of brothers and is pure love. The transition from hate melting to love that could defeat monsters and wage wars was beautiful. A beautiful read!
I have been waiting for Dev's story ever since he first book..mi just knew there's more to his story and i wasn't wrong. Dev and Avantika are the perfect, power couple. I love how mature they are both.
Dev is the definition of perfect MMC. He's smart, morally grey, strong, possessive, over the top main character. He has this touch her and die energy around him. Avantika's character is the most mature one in the whole series. She's smart, head strong, loving and she knows what she wants.
Their story is one full of drama and although the story was kinda predictive. It kept me hooked till the last.
A book befitting the final part of what has been an amazing series from Sapna. this had everything from the misunderstanding of Dev , to his repentance of sorts, to his protective instincts, to his pain and hardships, to his sacrifices and finally his long wait to return back to Avantika. All in All an absolute delight to get the deserved end for each and every one of those characters.
P.S - Also a stroke of genius to lay down the seeds for Sheena and Rajiv's story. looking forward to yet another story and hopefully another new series of books as well
Reading Avantika and Dev's story brought the feeling that with their scorching chemistry and all its amazing twists and turns, the quartet is complete. The bond between Dev and Neil and Dev with the rest of the family was a treat to read. Had so much fun but also felt sad at the same time finishing reading the book. Kudos to Author Sapna Bhog for doing a wonderful job on this quartet. Waiting for Rohan Bali and Jia Deewan's story...
The final relevation- peace and happy ending. Avi is the strongest of all and her journey hasn't been easy. For granting few days of her life to dev she lost her heart again to him. The final turns are quite impressive. Well written story, though some parts were quite predictable. Their love story came to full circle . Rajiv he been there savior and guide, Now waiting for Sheenaand rajivs story!!
After the first book, I already knew I'd fall for Dev, despite the author trying her damndest to paint him and villain, and it held true! Dev is the perfect antagonist in the series and my first fictional crush of 2024.
Absolutely loved his side of the story and was legit grinning ear-to-ear at Avi n Dev's antics.
Interestingly, the Avi in this book was different compared to the rest of the series. Hence, the anti-Avi community has been shut down indefinitely.
Sapna has a special way of narrating a story. I have read all her books so far. Bond of brothers series stands apart from her other stories with the mystery unraveling in the last book. How I was waiting for this book! The strong characters and the love shared among them is a treat to read. Looking for more stories from Sapna.
I was waiting for this one and it was good, however i feel cos of the wait i made it more in my mind that what the story would actually be. However a good read
The last book in this series and what a gem it is. I had difficulty in putting it down until I reached the end as it was such a heart-warming story. A. must read
