The I Love You Series is a box set consisting of both I Love You books plus a brand new epilogue for Rafe and Lexi’s story. It also includes the book, Max, who is Rafe’s younger brother. I loved every single one of these. They are filled with OTT heroes that loved their women with all they have. They are each reviewed in more detail individually but will give you a slightly condensed version here.

Rafe Black came from nothing. Now he owns an empire, a self made success. One of his businesses is the it magazine in Los Angeles, Downtown. He is hiring a new assistant and there is one applicant left. His world changed when she walked in the door.

This brand new epilogue begins about a year after the previous book ends. Rafe and Lexi are ready to expand their family. And let me tell you that Rafe takes his job of getting his wife pregnant very seriously. I laughed out loud at some of his antics. Poor Rafe. He tries to hold back his caveman tendencies, but it’s quite a struggle for him. I love these two so much and this was just the icing on the cake for me. More Rafe and Lexi always makes my day better.



MAX
Max is the bad boy of the Black Brothers. His horrible childhood left him emotionally scarred. The only two people he cares about are Rafe and Lexi. Max is being wrongly accused of insider trading and is on house arrest. That’s how he ended up in the restaurant, Peaches. It was inside his allowed area. That’s where he saw her, Peach Sutton. He tried to stay away, he knew he was no good for her. But he couldn’t.



As he tries to prove his innocence, at the same time, one of Peach’s customers has taken an unhealthy interest in her. She has a stalker. And Max is determined to protect her.

I loved this as well. Max was swoony and protective of his Peach, and nothing was going to take her away from him.

Below are my reviews when I had previously read (and loved!) these books. I also included a mini review for the 50-page epilogue (which is NEW) that wraps up Rafe & Lexi’s story in a pretty little HEA bow.

Oh Rafe...such a beautiful, overprotective, possessive & obsessive man. The way he and Lexi fall head over heels in lust is...kinda sexy, not gonna lie. That first chapter...wowza. The passion between them is powerful and delicious.

If you love a well-written, love/lust at first sight, whirlwind romance, you’ll love this one.

This is my first read by this author and I really love her writing! This ends in a cliffy, so thankfully book 2 is available so I could dive right in.

I already know I’ll be reading Max’s book.
I love him already.


***XOXX I Love You More***

This conclusion to Lexi & Rafe’s story was yet another whirlwind of passion, fierce love, and more sexy AF alpha behavior. Loved it!

The story picks up where book one left off. We get more obsessive & possessive Rafe, more delicious tingles, some drama thrown in because of a shady co-worker, and a crazy ex causing problems to boot. A great combination for an enjoyable read.

I love how much Lexi & Rafe are so drawn to each other.
They need each other.
They more than love each other.
I pretty much devoured their story.

I’m now diving into Max’s story.
He’s Rafe’s sexy, tattooed, bad-boy brother.
Yes. Please.

This was a lovely ending to a beautiful love story.
Rafe is still protective.
He is still obsessive. Still sexy AF.
And he is still, without a doubt, madly and crazy in love with Lexi.
We get a glimpse into their future. And it makes me fall in love all over again.
It was swoony and it was perfect.

This story is full of all the swoony feels I love.

I loved, loved, loved when Max and Peach met. She came to his table to take his order.

He was mesmerized.
He couldn’t stop staring.
He was already falling.
And you know what? I was too!

The sparks between these two were bright and sizzling, pure fireworks. Their affection toward each other was adorable, their passion enviable.

Their vulnerabilities made them that much more lovable and made me want to wrap my arms around them both and protect them.

Do you need to read the the first two books? No. But I think you should because you’ll get a delicious taste of Max in them.

If insta-lust/love reads with protective, obsessive, OTT alphas are your jam, you’ll definitely want to read this.

Lexi is a recent college graduate and has decided to try and build a life for herself in LA and with the help of her best friend she is sporting a new look for her interview to become a personal assistant to none other than CEO Rafe Black, a role she is far from ready for. From all that she has learned about Rafe Black, which is very little he is a reclusive billionaire who is ruthless when it comes to business. They have barely met when the chemistry between then explodes but with the kind of past that Lexi has can she let down her guard and believe that she has met the man that is going to protect her or will his possessive nature send her running for the hills rather than a happily ever after?

Rafe is well aware of his faults but from the minute that Lexi Blondeau walks into the interview for the position of being his personal assistant there are many positions that he is going to want her in and he knows that what he is feeling is something so new he is never going to want to give her up. The only other person he has ever cared for is his brother Max but with Lexi he knows he would do anything for her, but what he wants to keep her all to himself, will his need to possess her ruin all that they could have?

These two characters are ones that will have you turning the pages desperate to finds out how they will ever make it work but with both having scars from the past and trust issues beyond belief are they really on curse to have that perfect happy ever after?

This boxset has the added bonus of Max's story so be ready for another dark tale of scarred people finding a love that heals the soul.

I loved these books and they so made being stuck in bed sick worthwhile I am just gutted it has taken me this long to finally read them. HIGHLY recommended reads I know I will read them again that’s for sure. 5 Champagne Supernova *****.

OMGOSH! I thought I loved the first book in this duet, but this book just blew me away! This one had the angst that was missing in the first book, the crazy ex girlfriend Veronica. She was over the top! And Eric, who wanted Lexie for his own. Rafe and Lexie have to learn how to navigate their relationship in the real world, outside their love bubble. I love that Rafe is still as obsessively and totally in love with Lexie and she with him!

As they plan their wedding, intrusions intrude. Can their love of such short standing, no matter how strong and all-encompassing, withstand the storms about to beseige them? Or will Lexie do what Lexie does best, run? Will her past fears and insecurities get the best of her?

This is such a great conclusion to this duet and the Epilogue is perfect! Julie also promised us another book on this wonderful couple after Max's (Rafe's brother) story. I am so stoked to read these books next!! Such great stories!!


LOVE YOU THE MOST
This is a perfect look into the future to the I Love You Series! Rafe and Lexi are still deeply in love and Rafe is more possessive than ever! We see them in their Happily Ever After and it is more than sweet! It is the Epilogue of all Epilogues, and the only complaint I could come up with is that it is too short!
This is included in the I Love You Series and is the perfect complement to that book! Julie Capulet is a fine author and I have loved reading her books and look forward to more about this family!💖

Max is the third book in the I Love You Series by Julie Capulet. Max is Rafe Black's younger brother who he has spent his entire life taking care of and protecting. Max did not have an easy childhood and had some brushes with the law. He has a reputation as a bad boy with a promiscuous lifestyle and has never had a serious relationship. He considers himself too damaged to have a relationship with anyone. He is on house arrest for insider trading that he was set up for and is trying to figure out who did this to him.

Max's life is tilted upside down the evening he walks into Peach's Restaurant. The connection he feels with the owner, Peach, is instantaneous and reciprocated. He has never believed in love for him, never felt these feelings before. Instant-love or lust, it has taken over Max and he is a Beast! Possessive AF is definitely a Black family trait! Peach has a stalker so she needs protection. Max steps up to be her bodyguard 24/7 and the heat is turned up past boiling!

This steamy, suspenseful book is another wonderful read! Max and Peach do find their HEA and we get a lovely epilogue which is always one of my favorite treasures to find at the end of a book! This is definitely a highly recommended book that you need to dive into! FIVE DOWNTOWN STARS!

I was so excited to finally get the chance to read the I Love You series!!! I didn't realize I was missing out on a bigger story when I read Max Black's amazing book first, so this series was on my list.  Although I met Rafe and Lexi there, it was fun to see how they came to be from the beginning of their wildly passionate story and how it merged with what I already knew from Max, which is included here as the last book.  More goodness for you, wrapped up in one huge, continuous binge.

Julie Capulet has special knack for writing the best kind of sexy, swoony leading men- they are all alpha, all the time and know what they like and go for broke when they see it.  Rafe Black is no exception and in fact might just be the reigning king of intensity right now! He's a born protector, a self made man- successful young, wealthy and gorgeous.  He was looking for a new assistant and found alot more than be bargained for when he encountered sweet Lexi.  Was he ready for that???

Lexi Blondeau was a smart, resourceful girl but hiding in plain sight under baggie clothes and large framed glasses. She pushed herself hard with focus and strength, trying to blend in and do what she had to do all her life.  Now, making her way to LA, living with her fashionable friend who waved her magic wand and viola- the swan has emerged, ready to take on the world, but was the world ready for her??  She manages to land the kind of interview that will change her life completely...so, let the fun begin!!!

I couldn't help but love Rafe and Lexi together, what an adorable pair they were.  Rafe was instantly wowed by her and she with him.  They dove into a  totally consuming, lust filled obsession, but didn't know how to pull back from those feelings.  Was this real?  Could this be sustained or was it just a quick moment in time, soon to burn out. Rafe had some hilarious converstions with himself, which cracked me up, as he tried to justify how he truly felt about Lexi.

Too much, too fast, and too intense....the steam level between them was right up there at wildfire level...burning everything around them down!!  Rafe was in love and he wanted Lexie with him all the time.  Lexi was falling but used to being alone, doing for herself and was scared by her feelings. What will happen when Rafe pushes his girl too far?  There is way more to this story- villainous outside factors at work, trying to throw a wrench into their plans.  Fear and love warring in the background of their relationship, making everything more complicated.  Max's problems filtered in too, that sexy pirate and he wishes he had seen Lexie first!  Huh?

What a ride full of ups and downs this story took me on, emotions all over the place- real, raw and so intense.  Rafe and Lexi were holding back parts of themselves for fear of being judged for their pasts. I needed a few tissues to get through these pages, but through every book there was an abundance of wit and humor- some parts so funny I had tears of a different kind to wipe from my eyes.  This is a couple who 'got' each other and were truly meant to be and I don't think I'll ever forget them.  Their extended epilogue was a romantic heartstopper and so beautiful written... how I loved reading it.

Rafe- "You're my dream and my heart.  You're my love and my life."  Sighhhhh.

I can't say more, you'll have to read the I Love You series books, bonus content and Max's heartbreaking tale to discover everything else.  What a perfect way to spend a weekend- with the brother's Black and their beautiful ladies!!  Must recommend this one.

Julie is still a new author to me so any chance I get to read a book from her, I take it. I loved this boxset. I've never read it before so I enjoyed reading the whole set in one sitting. I loved Rafe and Lexi's story. I also loved Max. Each character was interesting, fun, likeable and loveable. Great set.

I enjoyed this story, but even for me, there was an obsessive amount of sex. Frankly, I liked Max and Peach's story the best. It was short and sweet, but still obsessive. Since this was a novella, it probably captured the story in a way that the longer version did not. I would still recommend it. Be prepared, completely OTT.

The characters are carefully defined. The obsessive Black brothers are so over the top it is sometimes riotous. The HEA's are wonderfully satisfying. I rate this series 4.5 stars.

Twenty year old Lexi Blondeau, new Stanford grad, has no sense of fashion, so when she goes to interview for the position of assistant to the CEO of the iconic Downtown, her roommate who happens to run a fashion blog gives her a makeover for the occasion.

Twenty-seven year old Rafe Black spent seven years building his billion dollar empire. He is reclusive and ruthless. He has never connected emotionally with a woman, instead keeping his laser focus directed on his businesses.

When Rafe opens the door to greet Lexi for her interview, he is instantly drawn to her. He muddles through the interview rather unconventionally, offering her the job at the end. But when he leans forward and grasps a strand of her hair, they both give in to their lust at first sight. Rafe wants her again immediately, and each time he has her his obsession grows.

Lexi and Rafe share an intense chemistry in this steamy romance. It was nice to see them open up to one another about their broken childhoods, deepening their bond.

Fans of Fifty Shades might find some parallels in XOXO I Love You, although it is not BDSM.

I rate this book four stars. I would have rated this five stars if Rafe's ruthless side were developed more, perhaps by showing him at work. He is very often sweet to Lexi, which is great, but it is hard to picture him as ruthless.


XOXO I LOVE YOU MORE:

Wow! Since the first book in the series, XOXO, ended in a cliffhanger, it was exciting to see how all the drama that occurred resolved itself.

In XOXO, Rafe and Lexi get drawn together by an instant lust/obsession that neither are prepared for. Their chemistry was insane! Now Rafe and Lexi are an exciting couple and are still both totally obsessed with one another. Rafe and Lexi share one of those rare, inspiring loves where the whole world melts away when they are together. Their chemistry is still off the wall.

They are put to the test as they try out their relationship in the real world; accordingly, the plot is more complex in this book. Seeing them open up to one another and learn to trust was rewarding. They both came from broken families and had difficult childhoods, so when a sort a "family" begins to form, it is heartwarming. Although things take an unexpected turn, the HEA is very satisfying. I rate this book five stars.

This is part three of Rafe and Lexi's story in the XOXO I Love You series.

XOXO I Love You More, part two, closes as Rafe and Lexi get married on Lexi's twenty-first birthday. Here the couple celebrates their one year anniversary on Lexi's twenty-second birthday. Their chemistry continues to sizzle.

Rafe continues to be obsessed and insanely jealous, but Lexi, who has learned that she has power in their relationship, attempts to keep him in check when he goes overboard. Lexi continues to pursue a career, although Rafe would love her to stay home. They are more in love than ever.

Rafe has been excited to begin a family but has agreed to be patient due to Lexi's age. So when Lexi decides she is ready for the next step, the couple must grapple with priorities and learn to refocus their energies.

This quick read is essentially a very extended prologue. It is well-written and grants Rafe and Lexi the beautiful HEA that they deserve. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

The mysterious and dark Max Black, twenty-four, has much to be proud of. An MBA from Stanford. CFO of a Fortune 500 company. Chairman of the Board of Directors. It is a job from his brother Rafe paying tens of millions per year that he didn't initially deserve, but he worked tirelessly to make himself worthy of it. Today he is worth four hundred million.

There is just one problem. He has been convicted of insider trading. He didn't do it, of course. He was set up. But he had to accept the conviction or risk taking more people down with him. He is on house arrest for three months, free to travel between home and his office with his tracker. He vows to clear his name, and Rafe promises to help. 

Dixie Mae Rafferty Sutton, twenty-one, arrived in L.A. four months ago with a small loan from her grandmother. The first pie she made was a peach pie. She was five at the time, and the nickname 'Peach' stuck. Upon arrival, she opens the restaurant she had dreamed of. It is immediately a huge success, and she is taken by surprise at how popular her pies are overnight. Starting a business requires hard work and endless hours, but she loves it. 

When Max goes to dinner with his brother Rafe and Rafe's fiance Lexi, he is stunned by the waitress. He's never been speechless like that before. And he knows if he can't keep himself away from her, he'll be a goner, and take her and her goodness down with him.

This couple has crazy chemistry! Witnessing Max's overnight transformation is awesome. He really does turn into a marshmallow. What really makes their story so memorable, though, is how Peach heals him. Prepare for the waterworks! The epilogue is thoroughly satisfying, and Max and Peach enjoy a very well-deserved HEA!

Max's and Peach's ages are a bit difficult to believe, unfortunately. The timelines for Max don't add up. Max had a difficult childhood, and there is no reason to believe he began his college years early. It states that all he has done the last five years is work. That puts him graduating from Stanford with his MBA at age nineteen, which doesn't seem to have been possible given his past. Also, his net worth is four hundred million. He makes ten million per year plus commission of usually around twenty million or more. He has obviously been working for years to accumulate his wealth, yet again it also states that Rafe offered Max a job running Downtown Investments one year ago, which does jive with his age. It would make more sense if Max were twenty-eight, which allows him to finish school at age twenty-three and work five years. 

As for Peach, although she certainly seems experientially qualified in terms of cooking, most twenty-one year olds wouldn't have the business acumen to get through the long and tedious process of opening a restaurant. 

Max is a spin-off from the XOXO series, which follows the story of Max's brother Rafe and Lexi, and introduces Max as the dark, bad boy younger brother with a tragic past. 

This book is nicely written and easy to read, with only a few errors. It starts dark, but become a sweet, emotional journey before reaching the end. I rate it four stars.

Other reviewers have done a wonderful job of doing a plot breakdown of each of the four books in this set. The set includes all of the books in the I Love You Series, as well as Max. More importantly, it has a brand new extended novella following Rafe and Lexi. Rafe is as OTT jealous and possessive as ever. In fact, he may actually have hoped the ante inn the pursuit of getting Lexi pregnant.

Honestly, the new section, "Love You the Most" is worth the price of admission to me, and I enjoyed revisiting these characters. I definitely recommend this to everyone looking for an insta-love, steamy, alpha male goodness.

This box set is about two brothers Rafe and Max and how they find the women who make them whole. Rafe meets Lexi and the chemistry is out of this world they have a lot of ups and downs but the love keeps going. Max meets Peach and they have an instant connection. They also have outside forces trying to get between them. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Box Set. If you love insta love, steamy sexy times and a beautiful love story. Lexi arrives at DOWNTOWN, the magazine of the decade, for her interview as the personal assistant to the owner. Her first interview....ever, since she has only just graduated from Stanford University a month ago. She is shocked she even got an interview.

The second Rafe opened the door to Ms. Blondeau for her interview for personal assistant, he knew he was in trouble. He has never had a reaction to anyone like he is feeling at this moment. These are the actions of a maniac not me. And the worse thing is he doesn't care.

Rafe is obsessed and possessive of Lexi to the point he feels panic when she is not within his sight. So possessive that he may have lost her.

Just WOW! I found it funny at one point that he referenced his current assistant as the Moneypenny type since I had been picturing his voice as Sean Connery. I love the characters in this book from Lexi's innocence to what everyone sees when looking at her and Rafe's overboard need to keep her safe. Rafe is an alpha controlling and possessive man who knows he's out of control, but has no idea how to stop.

I couldn't put this book down. Not only is it smoking hot, but I felt like I was there walking the streets of LA. The storyline keeps your attention from page one and I can't wait to see Lexi and Rafe's continuing story. Highly recommend!!!



XOXX I Love You More

Lexi is drunk on her ass after she escaped Rafe's penthouse. Escaping from her whirlwind affair of 2 weeks. She knew it was too good to be true. She knew he was controlling and obsessive, but when he locked her in the room he crossed the line! She was stranded because in her rush to leave the penthouse she forgot her credit card and phone. And now she is soaked to the bone in a revealing dress because the man who loaned his phone got her drunk and she snuck out the back of the restaurant without her coat when he wasn't taking NO for an answer. She glances up to see the last person she wanted to see, Rafe's brother Max. But, thank God he was there to rescue her.

Rafe is going out of his mind with worry and enraged with himself for his stupidity of locking Lexi in the room. Instead of him protecting her from the outside he realized that she thought she was trapped. He didn't realized it was a trigger from her past. He has been protecting his brother from the monsters for most of his life. He knows his fears are unreasonable, but he can't seem to get control of his obsessive and protective feelings. He has never felt this way and feels like he is going insane whenever she is not within sight.



I Love You Most

This book is sizzling hot from cover to cover. I really hated that their story is complete, but look forward to seeing Lexi and Rafe again in Max's story. There was a surprising twist in their story although it shouldn't have been. Loved this book! Julie Capulet nailed it!

This extended epilogue of Lexi and Rafe's story just makes you love them even more than the XO books.  To say that Rafe has control issues might not be strong enough.   He is over the top possessive, but having someone who wants nothing more than to take care of your every need and make you happy sounds pretty great to me.  Can't recommend Julie Capulet enough.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐



Max

Someone has set Max up to take the fall for insider trading - a crime he did not commit. He is determined to find out who set him up and make them pay. Instead of serving jail time he has to wear a tracking bracelet for 3 months that limits his movement to allow him to go from home to his office. His brother wants to take him to dinner to cheer him up and discuss his upcoming wedding and he is stunned speechless when he meets the owner of the restaurant. His only interest in women had been one night stands so he didn't understand his fascination with the beautiful woman.

Peach got her nickname at a young age when she baked her first pie. She absolutely loved baking and finally decided to open her own restaurant with her specialty being her famous pies. Unfortunately, one of her customers wasn't happy with her continued refusals for a date and became abusive and stalking her. As she is trying to escape the stalker after a night out with friends a gorgeous man who she hadn't been able to get out of her head since he came in her restaurant a few weeks ago comes to her rescue.

I love how Max wondered if he was forever damaged by his past that he didn't think he had any emotional capacity like his brother Rafe, but after only 10 minutes in Peach's company he totally understood his brother's obsession with Lexi. His longest relationship was a two-night stand and now all he can think about is getting her to stay.

I couldn't stop laughing at their conversations with themselves in their head. I love Max's tormented soul and his desperate desire to be loved. You can feel his pain coming through the pages. The storyline keeps you turning the page. The sex is steamy hot and the characters are amazing. Highly recommend this book and anything by Julie Capulet!

The Series contains four books: ‘XOXO I Love You’; ‘XOXO I Love You More’, ‘Love You the Most’ and ‘Max’.

Book 1, ‘XOXO I Love You’.
Main characters:
- Rafe Black (27).
The ruthless, hot looking CEO of Downtown, a very successful company with its own magazine, fashion label, lifestyle website, pop culture news blog and film production company.
Rafe is a self made business tycoon, who had a difficult youth (his father went bankrupt and committed suicide when his mother was already gone). A very young Rafe felt responsible for his younger, wilder brother Max. He raised him and kept him out of jail as good as possible.

- Lexi Blondeau (20).
Her (single) mom was a poor alcoholic and neglected her. With a scholarship, her intelligence and working 24/7 she graduates from Stanford College and a month later she moves to L.A. There she gets a dream job as Rafe’s private assistant. Already during the job interview with Rafe there was a lot of chemistry between them and both wanted to touch the other. Both are amazed at that feeling: Rafe always was the controlled, a bit cold CEO and Lexi for years was the baggy clothed, poor, serious student who almost never dated and still was a virgin when she arrived at her Downtown job interview.
The passion they both feel leads to a spontaneous holiday week in Hawaii at one of Rafe’s estates where they learn more about each other. Lust grows in something deeper but becomes complicated when Rafe is so obsessed with her that he turns into a possessive, jealous lover. Lexi flies from his penthouse and accidentally is found in a bar by Max.

Book 2, ‘XOXO’ I Love You More’.
Rafe is devastated when he misses Lexi. But with Lexi’s consent Max informs his brother that Lexi is recovering in his home. Rafe apologizes and Lexi returns to him. Together they try to find a work situation which is not too much influenced by their passion. In doing so gradually their relationship deepens. The author, Julie Capulet, describes with much feeling and insight how their passionate physical attraction leads to a deep mental bond between two people who were damaged in their youth and learn to trust the other. In spite of a scheming, desperate ex of Rafe and other complications, they get married. And Lexi finds her own job within the Downtown company.

Book 3, ‘Love You the Most’
Epilogue.
Lexi is 22 years old now and they decide to make Lexi pregnant. The result is more intercourse during work hours, in the evening during diner and on the couch watching tv or at night/in the morning in bed. Rafe is getting more problems to manage his urge to protect Lexi, who wants sometimes a bit more space.
After some years Lexi and Rafe are parents. They experienced that caring for your children gives more satisfaction than making more money when you already are a billionaire. So Rafe and Lexi learn how - from Hawaii - to delegate their work in L.A. to keep the company going spending a lot of time with the family they never had in their youth.

The Lexi/Rafe love story is 892 pages on my iPad. But the book never got boring: wonderful characters, sassy dialogues, interesting developments in the relationship and hot love scenes (sometimes a bit overdone?; 5 or 6 times a day and always a happy ending for both lovers seems for me in reality a bit unusual in the third year of a relationship with the same partner). But in general the plot was credible.

Book 4, ‘Max’.
Sexy standalone story (382 p.), a spin-off of Lexi and Rafe’s love trilogy.

Main characters:
- Max Black.
Rafe’s younger brother. Max is a rebel with a dark past. Under his hot, bad-boy exterior he has a heart of gold. He’s the CFO in an investment department of Rafe’s company.

- Peach Sutton (21).
At a young age she became an orphan and was raised by her grandma in Georgia, who learned her cooking and baking.
Now she’s a cute, sassy and gorgeous looking chef in her own new restaurant with the best apple pies in L.A.

Max meets Peach when visiting her restaurant with Rafe and some others. He sees a bruise under her eye and knows that it is not caused by ‘a door’ as she says. He already was impressed by her beauty and charme; now he gets a strong feeling to protect her. And when he tastes her apple pie he knows that he likes her very much. They meet again when Peach is harassed by her stalker and is rescued by Max.
The author Julie Capulet, then describes how they fall in love. This book 4 is the same quality as the ‘I Love You’ trilogy: credible (not very original) plot, sympathetic main characters and interesting dialogues. Only some meetings which - perhaps - were a bit too accidental. But a pleasure to read.

This is a must read series if you love protective men who do everything for their love and have the means to do that !!!

Last May I read the book XOXO I love you and I remember that I was hopelessly in love with the way this writer shaped her characters. Lexi and Rafe have an explosive, intense and obsessively intense love relationship that pops out of the pages. In addition to being so attuned to their emotions, they also have to learn to give each other space (which is almost impossible for Rafe in particular!)
In part 2 (XOXO I love you more) they learn to trust each other and build their lives further. Rafe, the billionaire OTT alpha man who learned at an early age to do everything he can to protect the people he loves. And Lexi, who learned at a young age to trust no one but only herself, found everything they didn't know they were looking for. The addition of part 3 (I love you the most) gives even more color to the feelings that this beautifully portrayed couple evokes in you. Rafe, as protective as he is, becomes a wimp when he becomes a father. With all the money he earned in the years before he knew Lexi, gives him the opportunity to spend a lot time with his family. How nice to read that they still enjoy each other to the fullest and that marriage has not lost its brilliance.
And then, the story of Max, brother of Rafe. In his youth he had to kill to get rid of his gremlin and that colored him for life. The bad boy image is only an image. He feels too little because of his past and therefore cannot build a relationship with women. Everything he does, the empty feeling in him does not go away. Until he meets Peach. She represents everything he wants but he feels as if he is not good enough for her. He does not want to dislodge her purity by his blackness. For him it is love at first sight, although he doesn't know it right away. He does not know what love is. Chased by a stalker, Peach doesn't feel safe until she's around Max. Despite all the twists in the story, the power of connection between Peach and Max only gets stronger. While Rafe has often been used as an obsessive OTT alpha man in the story, Max turns out to be a sensitive romantic man ...... but also still over the top in his task to keep Peach safe. The sparks of chemistry of both couples are so palpable, you become jealous of the love between them.
Again....this is a must-read series if you love protective men who do everything for their love and have the means to do so

This is a beautiful Epilogue to Lexi and Rafe’s story ♥️
Lexi and Rafe are celebrating their 1 year anniversary, after getting married the year before. Rafe’s obsessive nature continues, but Lexi tries to soften it. For Example: She wants to continue her career, but Rafe wants her to stay at home.
One thing is certain, they both decide they want to take the next step in their little family. This is a beautiful ending with a well deserved HEA for Rafe and Lexi’s journey together ♥️

Max is the ultimate bad boy alpha!! He’s Rafe’s baby brother, and he is HOTTTT 🔥🔥🔥 This is Max and Peach’s story ♥️
24 year old, Max has accomplished a lot, with his brother, Rafe’s help. His resume includes: MBA from Stanford, CFO for a Fortune 500 company and he’s on the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Max had a rocky start, but he is straightening himself up!! When everything seems to be going well, Max is accused of a crime that he didn’t commit, and is sentenced to be on house arrest for 3 months. His older brother comes in, and tries to help.
Meanwhile, enter Dixie Mae Rafferty Sutton, AKA Peach, who got her nickname based on the first pie she ever made. Peach arrives in L.A., to open up the restaurant, she has always dreamed of.
Max goes to dinner with Rafe and Lexi, and is immediately taken with his beautiful waitress ♥️
As Peach gets to know Max, and tries to help him heal, it is such a beautiful story. Make sure you have a box of tissues handy 🤧

Rafe is a tough billionaire CEO who is knocked completely off kilter at his first sight of Lexi. She is innocent but not naïve. She and Rafe have both had some rough experiences in their lives and have the baggage and secrets to prove it. Rafe fell hard, and I loved that. His obsession was a little out of control at times and he does not always make the best decisions. I appreciate his protective instinct and his relationship with his brother. I appreciate how driven he has been to succeed. I love how he wants to take care of Lexi, but he has to learn to temper that. Insta-love, and lots of heat make this a fun and steamy read. The first book in this duet does not yet have the HEA and has a bit of a cliffhanger. It is written in first person from a dual POV.

XOXO I Love You More
Lexi and Rafe must overcome some challenges and learn to communicate and trust each other on their way to their HEA. I love how much they both grow in this book. Their physical attraction/connection is powerful. They must learn to be just as open and trusting with their hearts and feelings. I loved that they finally get their HEA. This book is part 2 of the duet and is written in first person from a dual POV.

This bonus follows Rafe and Lexi in their HEA. I always love reading as they have a family and a good relationship down the road. Also written in first person from a dual POV, this was a super sweet, steamy, enjoyable footnote for this couple.

Max is a bit of a bad boy. But underneath his exterior is really a gooey marshmallow heart that melts as soon as he meets Peach. I love that he really does not understand why he is feeling all these feelings. He has a traumatic history, baggage, and the nightmares to go with it. He never thought he would ever feel love, but with Peach, it is instant. I love the connection they build so quickly. I love that they open up to each other and that Max feels a compunction to share his history with her. I love his desire to protect and take care of her. These two characters pack some serios heat in their story. I love Peach and her supportive and gentle nature with Max. They are both facing threats that they conquer together. Their HEA is the stuff dreams are made of. Roses, peaches, pie, plantations, and greenhouses are central as they build their family and future together. Their story is written in first person from a dual POV.

XOXO I LOVE YOU - When Lexi walks into Downtown for a job interview she is thrown off course when instead of an interview panel she sits down with the CEO Rafe Black. What should be a discussion of her job qualifications turns into so much more when both feel an instant attraction. And when I say attraction I mean smoking hot lust and a need to be between the sheets and up against the desks or walls ALL THE TIME!! But when a blast from his past decides she wants him back and will stop at nothing to achieve her goal Lexi has enough and walks away - will Rafe get her back? With steamy interludes and a storyline that at points leaves you breathless this was a great start to the series.

XOXX I LOVE YOU MORE - Working through being left at the alter only makes Rafe more overprotective of Lexi when she finally comes home - but that also puts him in the category of stifling and overbearing. Can Rafe find a happy medium and still protect Lexi while allowing her to flourish? Or will he be too much for her to bother dealing with? The readers who fell in love with Rafe and Lexi in the beginning will only fall in love with them more with this book. Julie Capulet makes her characters come full circle before they get their HEA and it was a joy to read.

LOVE YOU THE MOST - Honestly this was one of the best epilogues I have read in a long time - perfect ending to the story of a couples love, possession and future. It might be short but it is mighty!!

MAX - As the youngest of the Black brothers, Max always seems to get the raw end of the deal so when he is arrested for insider trading and has to spend three months under house arrest he has time to make a few changes. The first is to find the person who set him up and get his freedom back. The second is to try and get the one woman he ever had more than a moment with out of his mind. But with the help of apple pie and the need to help her out of a bad situation, Max finds he cannot seem to stop thinking about Peach. Will he have the same luck with his instant attraction? Or will she become annoying like all the others that have come before her? I fell in love with Max during Rafe and Lexi's story and I was so happy to see him get his own book. To watch the might fall in love and allow someone else into his nightmares was a joy to read. Turning the black knight into a loveable teddy bear was just perfect!!

The I Love You Series - 3 novels and 1 bonus novella

Larger Than Life Main Male Characters
Overall this was a 5 star series. The romance was smoking hot. The characterizations were vividly described. The story lines in each book were varied from suspense, drama, trauma and the big one, romance. Larger than life main male characters is what really stood out for me in all the works I have read by Ms. Capulet.

XOXO I Love You (I Love You, #1) - 4 Stars
Well, it was a nice "romance" sort of but they kind of jumped the gun and started a high intensity sensual relationship almost immediately upon first meeting. The story had a bit of a fairy tale quality to it, so, no, it was not really a believable romance in terms of every day life. There were moments of angst and some family drama. Due to the intensity of the relationship between the main male and female characters, there was little room for the development of supporting characters. All this being said, this was still an engaging read and is only part one of two. So off to book number two of two.

XOXX I Love You More (I Love You, #2) - 5 Stars

As Good As Book One - Recommended.
This second book in this series was just as enthralling as book one. The characters are clearly defined, are crisp and clear. The story line is good and the flow went along very smoothly. I thoroughly enjoyed this second book and highly recommend this novel. It would appear there is a third book coming out in this series; the brother of the main male character of this story. Yum!

MAX spin-off from the I Love You series - 5 Stars
We met Max in the story of his brother in the I Love You series. Max is every bit as yummy as his brother is. There were a few plots lines to this story but the over-arching one was a romantic tale that was scintillating. The main female character had major issues of her own, which Ms. Capulet delved into and brought to light in a concerned manner. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel just like I thought I would. What a deluxe male character MAX is!

The bonus novella included in this set was lovely to read through and get updated on past `friends`.

She has always hidden herself behind thick glasses and baggy clothes to not draw attention to herself, always focused on her studies. She has recently had a makeover thanks to her bestie Tessa.

Rafe Black has never been committed to a relationship in his life. He has always been a workaholic. When Lexi walks into his office, all of that changes. He becomes obsessed, possessive, and doesn't want her out of his sight.

This book is full of tons of sex scenes. Rafe and Lexi spend most of their time in bed.

Ends on a cliffhanger, but the series is complete.

If you want a J/P OTT alpha insta-love story than this book is perfect for you.

XOXX I Love You More: 4☆☆☆☆
This book picks up where book 1 ended. This book has tons of drama with Rafe's ex trying to cause problems.

Rafe is still OTT jealous and possessive. He still has problems controlling his need not to have Lexi out of his sight.

Lexi is finding loving Rafe while keeping her independence is harder than she thought it would be.

There are tons of steamy scenes just like in the first book.

Love You Most: 4☆☆☆☆

Loved this epilogue of Rafe and Lexi's story. This book picks up a year after XOXX I Love You More ends. Lexi is ready to get pregnant and Rafe in his possessive way takes control and gives it all he has.

Max: 4.5 ☆☆☆☆

Max is a broken soul who is messed up and feels like he doesn't deserve love. He has never had a relationship that has lasted more than two nights.

Peach is afraid after a customer starts stalking her, and attacks her one night outside her apartment. She starts sleeping at her restaurant instead of going home at night she is so terrified of him.

I absolutely loved Max. He is nothing like his brother Rafe at all. He is protective, but not in a controlling way.

Max and Peach were explosive together. She was just what he needed to help him heal from his past. Their book was definitely my favorite of the boxset.

Overall, I recommend this boxset if you want two brothers with completely different personalities and the women that complete them.

WOW…I couldn’t put this down! I downloaded the prequel “The Obsession Begins” which is free! It gives you a peek into what both the stunningly handsome Rafe Black and hidden beauty Lexi Blondeau were doing just before she steps food into his office for a job interview that changed both of their lives.

XOXO I Love You:
This is the first book in the series and oh my goodness…it was soooo good! Neither Rafe Black or Lexi Blondeau knew what they were getting into on the evening of her job interview. I felt all the emotions. I was laughing, I was frustrated, I was so happy, I was fanning myself because of how hot it was. They both obviously had secrets neither wanted to tell right of the bat. But as they both slowly open up to each other their love showed and left me wanting more.

XOXX I Love You More:
After the hardships both Lexi and Rafe faced and overcame in book one, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I was upset with Lexi but had to remind myself of her past. My heart was broken for Rafe. Then I was over the moon happy for them both. I was on the edge of my seat staying up late cause you know…”just one more chapter.” A lot of heart break could have been avoided had Lexi not been thinking of her past but it helped her in the end. Such a good book!

Love You The Most:
Oh my heart. Rafe and his issues. But easily over looked by the babies. I can relate to her birth as that is pretty much what happened to me. To be able to see them finally get their HEA and get a sneak peek of Max’s HEA was great!

Max:
I thought Rafe would be next book boyfriend…then enters Max in book one. I knew he had a story to tell and I was dying to figure it out. I got a tiny glimpse from Rafe’s view. But this hunky pirate Max’s view is way better. Peach was definitely the perfect woman for him. Their passion for each other, their instant trust, was just PERFECT!

All in all the series was great. And I am happy to give this box set a 4.5 star rating! I will definitely be reading more books from this author!

This is an interesting tale of two broken people who become addicted to each other. Their life is really intense, but they try to live a normal life, whilst trying to sort through their emotions. This author did a great job writing this book and I can’t wait to read the next part of Rafe and Lexi’s story. I will definitely recommend this book.

This is another great, interesting book that kept me on the edge of my seat with every page turn. I really enjoyed reading ‘XOXO I Love’, but reading the continuation of Rafe and Lexi’s story confirms the author’s skill at storytelling. This interesting, intriguing, entertaining, enjoyable, intense story, kept me engrossed in the story, as did the sizzling chemistry that leaps off the pages. To really appreciate the flow and depth of the story, I recommend you read ‘XOXO I love You’ before you read this story and I guarantee you will not regret it.

OMG! Who would have thought that the moody, big bear, could be brought to his knees by a little, innocent, red-headed baker. This impeccably written story, had me turning each page with anticipation of how Max and Peach were going to navigate their troubles and get their happily ever after. Throw caution to the wind and grab this book, because this story will surely keep you on the edge of your seat.

I read each book in the boxset individually, as part of the ARC team and I can definitely recommend this boxset for your enjoyment.

Julie Capulet has created interesting characters in both Rafe and Lexi. His need to always solve problems, his jealousy which is totally OTT and needs addressing which Ms Capulet has done by giving Lexi strength born out of her own childhood, to deal with people, difficult people, in order to survive and be the person with whom, Rafe and readers come to admire and love. In her box set she gives you a wonderful intro to Rafe and Lexi and a fabulous epilogue that readers won’t want to miss. Plus Rafe’s roguish delightful brother Max get his own story…. Will he too get his HEA? An enjoyable read… the entire set.

I Love You
College graduate and CEO meet at an interview and the connection is more than instant. Three days just arrived in a sweatshirt and baggy jeans and then Lexi is in an ultimate uber rich world with Rafe. He's obsessed with Lexi upon meeting her, so much that if she is not by his side, he loses control. She makes him complete and little Lexi gets the same from Rafe. I love the poker game, that was hot.
All it takes is for a lock to click into place and it all falls apart. This is the first book in the I Love You Series, and you need to continue to read I Love you More. Gripping from the first page and you won't be disappointed.

I Love You More
The relationship is still rocky, but explosive. Tess is a wonderful friend through the series and she adds a bit of reality to Lexi's friendship. Lexi still doesn't know is she has a job or not with Rafe, that's part of the problem, but it's fixed and a bit of confrontation in the office ensues. Outside pressures mount in their perfect world and it might not be enough to see them through. Quite the cliffhanger three quarters of the way through and an explosive fairy tale ending.

Love You the Most
A short conclusion to see into their future idealistic lives. Rafe is more in control and even has a bit of a sense of humor now. A very sweet ending for this couple and well worth the read to be lost in this world of Rafe and Lexi. Other characters are introduced here and you will see them in other books/series.

I recommend this series.

This box set includes books 1 & 2 from the I Love You series, and MAX, which features Rafe’s sexy, tattooed, bad boy brother, Max.

You need to suspend reality/believability when reading Rafe and Lexi's story. The attraction and connection between both Rafe and Lexi is instantaneous from the moment they met when she came from a job interview. Their relationship takes on an all consuming co-dependancy obsessive form which just grows as they spend more time together. Both have ghosts in their pasts they've overcome and keep at bay and hidden from each other. But for their relationship to survive, being vulnerable with and opening up to each other is necessary.

The story is a pretty fast paced read with a fairy tale feel to it. In reality, it's doubtful they could have carried on with a life and love in this same consistency (it would be suffocating and you do need to work) and both probaby needed therapy but I did enjoy reading their (fairy tale) love story, wishing it really could be real (hey you never know, maybe it does happen for the uber-rich hah)!

Max and Peach's story is also fast paced and insta attraction but it's also a little heavier as we finally learn the truth of what happened to Max as a child, which was heartbreaking. I preferred this book more as I liked that Peach is a success in her own right before Max came into the picture. In a way, their relationship felt heathier and more balanced, compared to Rafe and Lexi. But overall this was a great boxset to get and enjoy.
