I really enjoy reading this book! It was a great book about two sisters. The oldest sister wanted to be as far away as possible to the middle sister (Lucy). In the end the sisters know that they love each other. This book is great to use for math because each time the oldest sister think of a farther place to live she measures the distance. This is great for teaching measurements or conversions.

This book is great for grades K-5, because many students know how it feels to have an older sibling. This book is great on teaching how to share with a sibling. Also the illustration is wonderful. The book also gives at the end on how to measure and use calculator. This book is definitely good to plan a lesson to. The colors of the book draw the whole book together!

"Keep Your Distance" is about a girl named Lucy who measures everything. This book teaches the reader how to measure and explains distances. This is a good book for young readers to read about measuring and guessing how far something is away from them. Ex. 1 inch, 1 foot, 1 yard

This book is a great way to teach measurements and practical applications of them. Also, it shows conversions facts. Lastly, the story is one that older siblings will likely be able to relate to- wanting some distance from younger siblings. Great story with several learning/teaching opportunities.

A silly story of siblings who bicker but, in the end, they realize they love each other. Great math incorporation with measuring distance! This story is probably relatable for a lot of children, so I would definitely read this to them! Appropriate for grades K-2.
