I hadn't expected it to be easy, but I didn't expect it to take as long as it has and I sure as hell didn't expect to have some little girl tell me that I was THE GUY.
One, I wasn't ready for anything beyond the very next day, let alone forever. Two, who did she think she was?
She wasn't even a vampire! I don't care what she says she feels, I don't feel a damn thing!
Other than what a monster like me would like to do with something as mouthwatering as her. And even if I did feel something beyond that, there was no way I was worthy of somebody like her.
She was a human. She was a good person. She wasn't like me. She wasn't a monster. No matter what she says, I don't feel it!
So I am not THE GUY and no matter how tempted, I will never put myself in a position to hurt her. I'm not that much of a monster - at least not yet.
V. P. Nightshade’s life in Texas is anything but ordinary; her grumpy old husband, two hormonal sons, an Alien Dog, a Cairn Terrier Princess who’s very opinionated and talks, and new to the family in August 2023, a Cairn Terrier who Tangos! All of this makes for an eclectic, and occasionally, chaotic family.
V. P. loves her family!
She is both a reader and a writer. She loves reading about all things that go bump in the night, aliens who fly through the skies, and steamy romance novels. In her writing, she masterfully combines her favorite elements to create angsty paranormal romance stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the happily ever after.
If you see her in a coffee shop, chances are you’ll discover V. P. in the corner, daydreaming about her characters and their stories.
If you enjoy the suspenseful twists, turns, or steaminess of authors like Sarah J. Maas, Stephenie Meyer, H.P. Mallory, Ruby Dixon, or Amber Foy, you’ll fall in love with V. P. Nightshade’s books!
Production costs are always going up! Please don’t wait; buy these novels now before the price changes!

Sometimes love doesn't happen the way we like to think about in books and movies. Sometimes its not 'instant', sometimes its a choice, sometimes its painful, sometimes its not easy, sometimes its messy, sometimes is bloody.
But when it is REAL? It's FOREVER.
This is book 3 of the Vampiris Bloodline and presents another Tsoukalous Vampire Family love story with Devin Sutton and Anisa Romulus. The main characters are younger than in the preceding two novels - with Devin being a growth character through both The Choice and Now, Always, Forever.
In Book 3, Devin is still going through some issues with transition, and battling his vampire nature to do the right thing! Sometimes, the wrong thing is the right thing - if done for the right purpose. If you want to know what that means you will have to read the book!
Throughout the book there is a lot of interaction with the older generation and family members, that makes for some interesting character development. This, at times, sweet romance has a lot of humor and family relationships - but hey, it is a vampire love story so it still has those elements of strife, extreme danger, blood, gore - and STEAM!
As always these characters sometimes make you laugh, sometimes make you cry, sometimes make you mad, but always make you wish you had such a love in your own life as the one that they share.
The author did a Wonderful job of continuing Leia and Nicks Story as well as shining light on her sons lives as well as keeping the reader informed of the shifters while bringing in a new species to boggle the mind and stir things up. Great book and series.
Damn, I meant to bring this up in my last review but it's already so lengthy that I’ll just address it here. Why were Rom and Es able to bring up a human child in a vampiric household? Didn’t they have the same issues that Leila and Nick faced? Was it because their daughter’s biological parents were dead? Seems to me that Leila and Nick’s 25 year separation might have been avoided.
I’ve noticed this in books by other authors also - with chosen mates supposedly being such a rare occurrence they start multiplying like rabbits all of a sudden. Must be something in the water.

OMG! A Naga! They don’t appear very often. I think Piers Anthony featured one in a Xanth novel but that’s about the only one I recall.
That poor doctor. He deserves a woman that he doesn’t have to share. Too bad someone doesn’t mind wipe his recollections of Iris.
Nick is turning into somewhat of a stuffed shirt. Who woulda thunk?
I had been wondering what happened to that barmaid. That’s one mystery off of my list.
What to say other than this book was perfecto yes I said it! V.P. Nightshade is a master when it comes to vampires, I love the way she writes their stories to where you fell like you could be best friends with all. This book had it all, going crazy, love, sexy sexy, and happy happy. I totally love this series and can’t wait for the next book!
This series is getting better with each book. I enjoyed Devin and Anisa’s story. I also loved how the author kept Nick, Leila and the shifter’s story involved in the story line. We were also introduced to another supernatural being called the Naga. I hope the Naga’s continue to be a part of Nick/Leila family’s story.

I didn't think I was going to be crazy about this book because it was Devin and Nessie's story and I was enjoying Nick and Liela's too much! Lol But wow loved it all. I don't want to give spoilers but really this one has it all!
Loved it!! Hopefully, there will be more to come! Immersed myself with these characters, gonna wait, not so patiently, for more! Thank you for a great reading experience! Highly recommended!
I didn't know that the two books prior to this one were the beginning of a series. Now, I am really glad that this is a series. I enjoyed reading this. I'm glad Devin came around. He was kind of a jerk in the first two books.
