Stalker Knight is one of six Cyborg Marine Rangers who have returned to Earth to bring law and order back to North America West after an interstellar war left Earth in ruins. Each of the team members hopes to find their one genetic mate.
Stalker finds his mate when he pulls the pilot from a plane shot down before it explodes. Neely Albert, a former prostitute turned smuggler, is not impressed when Stalker announces that she is his genetic mate. However, her smuggling days are over with the loss of her flyer.

Neely is worried that the overlord will make her pay for the weapons. The big cyborg ranger talks her into going to California to help him with reconnaissance in L.A. in preparation for rebuilding. Neely sees it as her way out, but she also can’t deny her intense attraction to Stalker.

Once Neely agrees to go west with him, Stalker can just let nature take its course. He is pleasantly surprised by how capable she is of helping him.

Christine Myers, also known by her pen names Clarissa Lake and C. A. Marz, developed a passion for science fiction at the age of eight after watching the classic film The Day the Earth Stood Still. Her love for the genre, particularly science fiction romance with interstellar space travel and a touch of space opera, has been a constant in her life. Influenced by the works of Robert Heinlein, especially the Lazarus Long series, such as Time Enough for Love, and by Marta Randall’s Journey, Christine’s writing reflects her deep appreciation for the genre.

A devoted fan of Star Trek, Firefly, Farscape, and the Moody Blues, Christine grew up immersed in science fiction. She spent years attending science fiction and fantasy conventions, where she met and learned from legendary authors like Anne McCaffrey, C.J. Cherryh, George R.R. Martin, Ben Bova, Timothy Zahn, Frederik Pohl, and Orson Scott Card.

After years of submitting manuscripts to traditional publishers without success, Christine discovered Kindle Direct Publishing and embraced indie publishing. Blending her love for science fiction with a desire for more romance in the genre, she began writing steamy, romantic stories set in the cosmos.
Her works under the pen names Clarissa Lake and C. A. Marz continue to captivate readers with their unique blend of science fiction and romance.

When Love Grows

Stalker the Cyborg Ranger had been dreaming of his mate but never knew if he would ever find her. When he rescues Neely from a plane crash he was as surprised as she was. The problem was Neely was a survivor of a less than stellar past. But love can grow if you give it a chance, even while fighting slavers, brutal gangs and a rogue cyborg. I loved it, it was hot, and action packed.

The third and final episode of the Cyborg Rangers was the best of all ! Stalker's mate Neely literally falls out of the sky into his lap. It ends much as the other two episodes but is a great read anyway.
