I've been naïve, and that's a cold pill to swallow. If you had asked me just a month ago, I would have told you that betrayal wasn't possible anywhere near me. Boy, was I wrong. It's been a hard lesson to learn that the person I thought was once my protector is now my enemy, and the ones I thought were my enemies are protecting me. It's all really fucked up. Although I want to believe I've found it in this messed-up trio of men, but have I?
I'm out for blood and not just the three of them, but my once protector. They will all pay before I let them make me bow again. I want to give in to them and let them have their way, but first, I have to show them I am not someone they can walk all over. They will kneel before me as the queen that I am.
We pick up right where book 2 ends Charlotte is shot and everyone is reunited the tension is high since we learn a new secert and waiting to see the damage Charlotte is going though after her kidnapping and being shot. The men are also going through stuff feelings, wanting to kill someone. Tons of drama!! What I didn't enjoy is that Charlotte was shot and recovering, and the guys had sex with her. I don't mind Somnophilia but let the girl rest she was just out of surgery and unconscious 😂😂😂
I love that Charlotte and the guys all changed since book 1. Yes, the guys were still doucheish, but they did try to hear and let Charlotte sass and talk back. They still punished her, but it felt more playful than serious. The couple still had some ups and downs and little secerts they needed to uncover.
I was also glad Charlotte grew and didn't wanna be the shy, quite one anymore she showed the men she could hang to and wanted them to listen to her. A meh moment was well how the men before Charlotte were born or a kid Kronos wanted her mom honestly couldn't care less about that wish it wasn't part of the storyline. the series was good.

Book 1, wasn't on KU jp but since it was ¥100+ something, I bought it 🖐️⬇️🎤🤡 Okay, now you can judge me~
Back to the review.
I don't have enough to say to write a review for each book, so I'll just review the whole trilogy here~

I've been needing an angsty read for a while, but I keep failing so I decided to help myself to some horror erotica until I get my hands on a good angsty book.
I came with my eyes wide open, so my rating isn't tied to the horror.
My problem is physics make no sense in this book.
Let's start with the car accident that starts the whole story.
Picture this scene:
H1 and H2 are drunk driving (H3 is not present). H1, the leader, is the driver and falls asleep.
Heroine (young child, age still undisclosed at the time, but we later know it has to be 11/12 since she's 21 in the present ten years later) and her mother are running away and on a 90 degree turn the cars collide.
This is the heroine's first brush(*) with the heroes and H1 is shocked that as her car is flipping over and over the child never once breaks eye contact with him making him think of her as bold.
↬ {𝒑𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆}
How? How can she keep staring at him and even still look at him as the car stops with her upside down? Her being a young child, she has to be on the back seat? And even if she isn't, if the impact is making mom's car roll over and over, how did the car end up in such a way the heroine and H1 are still able to stare at each other? Why is the heroes' car stationary? Or are they flipping too?
The logistics with the scene kept taking me away from the story for a while because I couldn't stop trying to picture it in my mind...
↬ {𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆}
The story then goes back to the present and the heroine witnesses the heroes do crime and runs away.
When we switch to their POVs we get a scene where a hero commits a specific act of violence and we're told how aroused the act made the hero. Then a different act of violence is describe and once again, the zipper is leaving marks in places. This keeps happening with so many different weapons and so many different acts of violence that it starts to become absurd.
Maybe if each had like one specific thing, but it's everything and everyone.
But mostly, it's them acting on it a bunch of time in the span of less than an hour or so. Maybe if they were teenagers, but they are 34~37... After the fifth or so orgasm, I couldn't help but picture emaciated old men 💀
And this is before they even catch the heroine! After? They probably need IV hydration...
And there were logistical problems there too. Like how do they DP her when she's lying face down??? Where are they placed for that to be possible? How??
In all of this, the heroine is "a fighter" but she kinda goes from crying and pleading to orgasming? No slow transition, no explanation. It's just a switch.
Mentality, she's also not very interesting. She isn't hating herself for liking it, she isn't hating them for it. She's scared but not terrified. All her feelings are so tepid for a virgin that's been sexually tortured for weeks.
After all of that, she runs away (with the help from her secret stalker) and we get a cliffy.

Meh.
There's an exhibitionist scene right at the beginning as her punishment for running away. I hate those. I don't forgive sharing and for me exhibitionism is a form of light sharing.
I especially didn't like that his threat included all 71 men at the docks (where she's captured) having a turn at her.
And instead of getting progress on their feelings and how they treat her, she gets kidnapped and spends the rest of the book apart from them.
There's some time spent on them freaking out, but for two weeks, again, she goes through similar horrors from the first. Only with her secret stalker/social worker/brother figure/"true villain".
Coming right after the first book, this was boring and repetitive.
࿔*:・ Book 3
°˖➴ [𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈] ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3 star
°˖➴ [𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘]
Emotional progress~~~!
The book is chronologically very short. A few days at the hospital after they get her back and a few days after they are discharged. However, we get hugeeee character growth and emotional progress.
I think the author managed to keep the heroes psycho enough while still softening for their queen.
So, why only 3 stars?
The last secret.(*) Ew. 🤧
It made me wish for a tragic ending with the heroine losing the will to live after the birth, the heroes going Romeo on her and the babies raised by the suddenly revealed father of the heroine.
࿔*:・ Final thoughts
Book 1 is really where the most shocking things happen. Makes sense why it's not on KU. Book 2 and 3 are still very dark, but not "take off KU" dark.
↬ Book 1 would've been more shocking if logistics hadn't continued to take me out of the story.
↬ Book 2 had a trope I don't like and the content was too similar to book 1, making it boring.
↬ Book 3 did a good job of cementing their roles in the relationship and developing their feelings. But there was a very unexpected secret connection revealed that made me instantly dislike the leader hero. There wasn't enough grovel and the heroine should've been way more upset. I was rooting for a tragic ending as justice for the hundred of people who died during this trilogy...
I hate it when I'm the first person NOT to leave a 5 star review. But in my defense, It's not because the book wasn't 5-star worthy. It just didn't meet MY personal requirements for a 5 star review which is me having a STRONG emotional or physical reaction.
Trust, I had feelings, lots of feelings. For me this is a 4.5
I have been following this series since the beginning when it was banned literally hours after it's debut on Amazon. I watched SJ Ransom fight to get her story out there and it from being banned to becoming a number 1 best seller on Amazon. So HUGE happiness for her and all the dirty, twisted, readers like me who were championing her. She is definitely a talented author and I look forward to reading all future works.
The Psycho's series has been a wild ride. Book One left me complete shook. It was like I had my eyelids peeled off my face, and I was thrown into a dark ravine filled with spiders and jagged edges. I thought to myself WTF is wrong with these men, how is this a love story, and ain't no way anyone can come back from this.
Book Two had me all up in my feelings. I think I had to smoke a cigarette and really decompress. I felt so conflicted and betrayed by my body, my mind, and the characters.
Book Three, this book that you are reading the review for has me a bit numb and laughing as if I just inhaled a balloon full of helium. I feel like SJ had so many ways she could have gone with this. She probably could have drug this out into one or two more books. I thought to myself there is NO way she can end this, and I will feel satisfied. But I am. A bit exhausted from the whip lash but she did it. She freaking made it work.
So as a recap because ideally you are reading this series in order. We have the Powers Brothers who aren't blood related which makes makes the fact that they like to fk each other legal, kidnapped our poor girl Charlotte. She was saved by the only man who has ever been there for her only to have a bunch of messed up shit go down and we were left with an insane cliffhanger.
So this book picks up from that moment. And everyone is in their feelings. Overall there is a huge drop in indiscriminate murder in this book. Probably the least amount of deaths LOL But the taboo, wtf, kinky sex that has your brain and body fighting is very present.
I don't want to give too much away but I can say that I was not prepared for this ending. I commend Charlotte for finally finding a backbone, however I still feel like this is a Stockham love story where the victim is self aware.
Very toxic, very good, ONLY recommended to those with NO triggers and understand emotionally that this a work of fiction and no matter how fked up everyone is, you can still find a place in your heart for a psychopathic, blood thirsty, mad man.. well in this case three.
This was a great wrap up to the series! With some surprise twists and hard truths coming out, it kept me on my toes. As with all these in the series, mind the triggers. There's a lot.
I loved that this series we get POVs from all of the main characters, and some bonus ones from others. Seeing inside the Powers brothers heads, makes them seem more vulnerable. They have this rocky, scary exterior, but Charlotte slowly chips away at that and burrows inside them before they even realized it.
This story started with resistance from Charlotte and now she's grown into herself. She knows what she wants and knows how to push their buttons. I loved watching their relationship grow throughout the whole series.
It is my honest opinion mixed with my feelings about the history of the three books in general. ---------------
The end of the era...it doesn't feel like that, it feels more like a great life in the midst of all these lyrics that stopped being lyrics and became a movie in my head.
I probably shouldn't have fallen in love with 3 psychos but it already happened and each one in their own way put me around their little pinky. These three books were really strong, intense and deep. The roller coaster of emotions that this generated in me was immense. --------------- When I thought I should hate Kronos, Hypnos and Ayres and love Haydes, I didn't know what a GRAVE MISTAKE I was making. When I wish Haydes didn't do so much damage it HURTS. My heart burned for the suffering of poor Charlotte, for her freedom and this book was the culmination of all that, FINALLY she was able to be calm with her psychos, with her dreams to the future and with that love that it took so much for the four of them to accept. When I started the first book I knew I had to buckle up for this roller coaster of emotions but let me tell you, nothing prepares you for this ride. --------------- Now, this book had hilarious moments. The colors of the carpets and furniture HAHAHA the need to ask Charlotte for help to choose them and that she demanded but it will end with 'please' 😂😂
The insecurities that Hypnos carries. Every time she demanded something hahahaha and her "please" hahaha was saved. --------------- I loved reading the thoughts of the three of them, knowing how they really melted for her, how they really loved her deeply and without conditions. and his "I don't say it because I get weak" but everyone knew what was happening. ---------------- I love that loving loyalty is circular among the four of them, that they continue to be their support group among all of them. The love also between Charles, Xavier and Justin seemed very beautiful and pure to me. They knew each other so well that they knew what the other really needed and they took care of each other. Charlotte definitely got to seal the deal, her missing piece and I liked her --------------- The places mentioned...I love that you mentioned wonderland Texas and I'm really curious about GHOTAM VALLEY I like how S.J it is creating a complete universe. 🥰 --------------- Long story short, the book was wonderful, it was what I expected and more and I am so grateful for how things were pointed out, I loved it
Congratulations S.J and also Kelly for helping us learn more about this beautiful and dark world.

Perfectly twisted, full of deviance, and absolutely psychotic! Trigger warnings should be heeded with caution! Charlotte & the Powers brothers have had a journey to get where they are now. It’s been beyond wild, full of taboo, & completely unique but Love Forever picks up where Take Love left us and gives us a much different ride than we’ve had so far, but in all the best ways. We finally get to see what happens when they all realize they have feelings (even if only internally), we find out a lot more answers (even for things I didn’t question), we get a lot of closure (much needed), and we get plenty of absolute spicy heat (never a doubt even if some causes me to question myself). I have absolutely enjoyed Charlotte’s journey to becoming herself, even if the rougher parts were hard to handle at times. Having the epilogue include 2 different time frames was perfect to help us wrap up the journey and I honestly would love to see a short novella following up after the last page one day although it’s not necessary with how well everything was wrapped up. If you can handle the triggers, this book/series is well worth the read!
Psychos Love Forever by S.J. Ransom is a dark taboo reverse harem romance. This is the third book in the Psychos In Love series.
S.J. did a great job wrapping up the series. The relationship between Charlotte, Ayres, Kronos, and Hypnos is dark, twisted, and toxic. But oh, so HOT! I really enjoyed getting Ayres, Kronos, Hypnos, Dr. Forsythe, Charlotte, and Haydes points of view throughout the book.
I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, taboo romances, reverse harem romances, erotic romances, or romantic suspense.
Wow, it all come full circle it was a prefect ending to this story. It full of spicy and answers all the questions that been laid out throughout the three books. It sad the story over, but it a good ending. I Love all of Sj.randsom book she weaves and tells her stories well and it was not a disappointment at all.
Deliciously dark!!This was a great end to this series!!!! It was a crazy ride and I loved every second!!! Check your triggers but I definitely recommend!!!!
This picks up where book 2 ended. Charlotte is running through the woods and gets shot, is bleeding heavily and goes to the hospital, almost dying. Next thing we know, everyone is inside everyone else and like Sleeping Beauty, Charlotte opens her eyes when the penis enters her. It's a beautiful fairy tale. It gets more unrealistic from there. No one, after being repeatedly raped by a friend, gets rowdy at the hospital at the drop of a dime (after just being in a coma) over and over. Charlotte gets bolder while the guys turn into weapy bitches. WTF happened? She's all dominant and they are submissive? Lots of mixed signals all over the place. And she kills a guy and is completely fine with it. No problems at all. No problems that one of her boyfriends killed her mom. No problems about anything important but she gets mad that a waitress touches his arm. Just, weird stuff.
And bad editing. Bad punctuation, several instances of characters switching in mid paragraph. I gave the last book 5 stars and was really looking forward to this one. I'm not sure what happened here but it was just not good. What a bummer.

No matter how much Kronos, Ayres and Hypnos claim to love Charlotte and be better men for her doesn't change the fact that they are murderous r@pists. The only reason they had a change of heart was out of fear of her dying but had she never been injured she would have remained their prisoner being beaten, tortured and r@ped on a daily basis.
Charlotte did have a little growth but not much because she apparently enjoys having Stockholm Syndrome but figures it's better to choose the devil that you know. It was nice to see Haydes meet his end and by Charlotte's hands but I feel the Power brothers got off easily and they're the ones who ruined her life in the first place.
In the end Charlotte gets her Toxic HEA with her three Psychos and she couldn't be happier. Yeah ole girl seriously needs therapy and possible antibiotics because the way the guys were jumping from each other holes and then into her just screams UTI or Swamp Cooch.
Alright alright I finished this stupid little series. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you just like shock value and making fun of this campy attempt at dark romance. Nothing is earned, there is a huge lack of continuity and confusion and the characters all act and respond in the most non logical ways. I mean, look at what they did to her in the first book, is any of that really redeemable? No, bit the author forces the inner dialogue about how in love they all are down your throat in an attempt to make you believe it. There are too many lazy coincidences and the showdown with Haydes and even his total change in personality were just so disappointing. I kinda wish I’d given up a few pages in on the first one, so I guess the only thing I’d say good was that I liked the super short chapters and it somehow keeps you reading through the horrible cheesiness of it all. Charlotte has no depth and no personality and is the worst kind of doormat that ever lived.
This book by far is the most tame in the series. Nothing really taboo but it does clear up the relationships between all the characters past and current.
After everything that Charlotte has been through she finally comes into her own and starts to stand up for herself and fight for her own wants and needs within their crazy relationship.
I'm A little disappointed in how quick Haydes was dealt with, I expected a little more based on the previous books but again this book was more focused on bringing everything together with the over-the-top possessive alphaholes without the extreme of the other two books. There was still spice as expected and ended in a HEA!!
This Finale of a Book series has the perfect amount of dark and twisted Romance. I enjoyed reading this series so much that I might just have to go back eventually and binge read it. I would definitely double check your triggers for this series, but if your okay with the triggers this series throws out then it's 100% worth the read! Charlotte and the Powers brothers story throws you in so many different directions that keeps you on the edge if your seat and makes you want to read more. I could not stop reading it and read the whole book in just an hour.
“We are head over heels in love with this girl and can’t stop it. It’s like a train wreck waiting to happen, but we won’t get off the tracks.”
Psychos Love Forever is the third and final book in the Psychos In Love series and manages to perfectly wrap up Charlotte and the Psychos story. After all the horrible things Charlotte has endured, we finally get to see her stand up for herself. There is so much character growth in this final book and finally getting to see the guys soften towards Charlotte and realize the true depth of their feelings for her was everything.
This entire series was one intensely dark and depraved ride that was written in such a way that I could not get enough! Each book is dark, so make sure to check trigger warnings!
“I want to hear I love you from her.” “What’s worse is … I want to say them back.”
“That’s my good boy. Now get over here and help me cum. Let’s show Kronos and Hypnos how you can make me cum.”
“That’s right. I’m the queen and you are my kings, but I will no longer be quiet about it.”
What a Insane Ride with these characters!!! Dark, Depraved, and Deliciously Perfect!
Yes I have been waiting to dive back into this crazy world as soon as I finished book two, but now I'm slightly sadden because its over now. It was an epic journey from start to finish with this series and on many occasions had me asking "What did I just read? And why was that so hot and intriguing?" This book delivers on all fronts of a taboo/dark romance and then some. This author knows how to weave a intricate dark tale with so much spicy goodness that has you needing to hydrate as you read.
Get ready to experience the Power brothers like you have never thought you see them before. I loved that they are so unsure of things this time around, but Charlotte is full on "Queen Mode" and let's them all know how it's gonna be. So many ups and downs but extremely hot and steamy moments makes this an unputdownable book.
You will get a lot chaos and finding love in this book and some extremely hot and kinky moments also! So for all my fellow taboo/dark romance readers this is a Must Read Series!!! You need to experience this insanely addictive dark world from start to finish because it delivers a perfect ending for them all. So don't wait make sure you grab this book because it's a definite must have!
I’m gonna be honest there is nothing I can say that won’t be a spoiler. Besides, this is a must read. If you have read the first two, you need to read this. Yes, it is a very dark and very kinky romance book, but the ending of the story the ending to this trilogy you need tissues because if you don’t cry, I’m afraid you might be heartless. Lol jk but seriously the growth between Charlotte and the men it’s just so much that you have to read this if you were in the first two this book makes all of the parts that you screamed at because they were just terrible to her and you just cannot understand just perfect. It ends in such a perfect way, that I cried, happy, tears & tears happy because it was the most amazing ending inside because it was ending.
Oh my god...this book...this series. It was so much more than I thought I was getting into from the very first page to the last. There’s something about the psychos and SJ's writing of them that you find yourself making excuses and slowly caring about these crazy men. But...don't get anything twisted, they are true psychos and remain the villians/anti-heros they start out as. The only softening they do is for Charlotte period. If you want to explore your kinks and boundaries in reading dark romance then you should add this series to your list. Please remember there is nothing morally gray about these guys so definitely read the trigger warns on SJs website and believe them before you dive in.
This is perfect ending to Charlotte and the Pyschos journey. This picks up where book 2 left us. Charlotte and the guys realize their feelings for each other. And to see the guys deal with Charlotte growth through out is fantastic. We will get all the answers and more that we have been waiting. And to see them final their unique ending is remarkable. I couldn’t ask for better end to this series. I wish I could give it more then 5 stars.
It was such a fantastic ending to this crazy trilogy! Charlotte finally realizes she is in love with the three men who abused her and treated her so badly at first. It was great to see these three men finally having feelings for someone. They are complete psychos but find a soft spot for the only woman they have ever loved. These men are depraved, deviant, and completely crazy but to see them treat Charlotte so well after the hell they put her through changes all that. They are still crazy but have been semi tamed by her. Charlotte finds herself and realizes her life without them isn't a life worth living. She finally gets the closure she needs by the end.
Well this really rounded out the way you wanted for this whirlwind of a series!! I absolutely love that it stayed twisted but also gave you some domestication with all the psychos and charlotte. I felt so fulfilled with the ending that I just want to cuddle with the characters and smoosh their faces 😂😂 the struggle for the guys to come to terms with emotions other than anger and being stab by is entertaining and beautiful! Great job SJ! I loved the ending and I will miss these characters so much but always looking forward to your next book ❤️🔥
This series.... all the feels, all over the board. I can't believe it is over and the growth that these characters have is tremendous. I remember reading the first book and thinking (among many other things) that these guys were never gonna change... I'm not going to ruin it but heart eyes all over the place!!!! This series will always hold such a special place for me. Thank you SJ for pushing every boundary I thought I had and making me fall in love with all of these Psychos.
**Lots of triggers in this book/series so please read warnings before reading**
“You are fighting what you know to be true.” Ayres whispers in my ear as he kisses down my ear”
It’s a bittersweet ending to Charlotte’s wild journey. She got the closure and HEA she deserved. Quick read—dark, twisted, reverse haram that keeps you on the edge of your seat! Another great book by S. J. Ransom!
A plot surprise in the beginning of the book takes place and the book takes off. I have loved how immersive these books have been. I was completely sucked in to each book in this trilogy and they were quick reads for me.
These books are an unconventional path to love to say the least, but who ever had fun being conventional. There's a lot to love about these psychotic characters, but most of all I loved that Charlotte found her strength and the complexity of her character.
What a deliciously spicy and dark read. Absolutely check trigger warnings and heed them with caution. That said, I absolutely love the cheeky, strong woman that Charlotte came to be and it was nice to meet the soft side of the Psychos. Don’t be fooled though, that softness is for Charlotte only.
Quit @ 23% All of a sudden Charlotte has a father? And he just knows she’s his daughter upon seeing her for the very first time as an adult?!? On top of that, the stepbrothers know her father?!? Not only do they know him, but they have been working with him since before Charlotte was even born? What a “coincidence“!!!! ARGH!!!!!
Aside from books needing to be proofread (which every book in this trilogy desperately needs), my other biggest pet peeve with books are “coincidences.” In my opinion, “coincidences” like the one in this book are a copout … a lazy route the author took rather than coming up with a plausible explanation for events. After coming across this coincidence followed by several extremely far-fetched, unrealistic scenes, I became incredibly frustrated and had to quit.
