The Katie Winter series is as straight forward a murder mystery series as you can get. She dabbles in personal relationships but they are a minor aspect of her storytelling. The mystery was fine and without blood and gore. The hunt was well paced. The action scenes are easy to follow and get into.

I made the mistake of buying an entire series of books. Although they were cheap, they are still not worth the time. First of all, I haven’t been able to determine why the audio version is read by someone with a BRITISH accent. Did I miss something? the books take place in the US and CANADA.

NEXT, I think that they are possibly written by a person who drinks lots of espresso. There is no way that that many murders occur in such a short amount of time and are, of course, solved so quickly. Molly must be the smartest FBI agent ever, as she manages to use her crystal ball to determine exactly what is going on in The mind of the killer without any evidence.

Everyone else on the team is a helpless idiot, just waiting for Molly to save the day.

Katie and Leblanc are set to find a serial killer that is on a killing spree between the US and Canada. The women are severely wounded and do not have a link among them except for their looks. At the same time, Katie and Leblanc are confronting their feelings for each other, and also their inner demons. Will they be able to solve the crime and reach a conclusion re. their feelings and inner problems?

Katie and Leblanc are searching for a serial killer who is crossing between Seattle and Vancouver. His weapon of choice is an axe that he uses on the head. They are in a time crunch to find the killer. Are we also beginning to see some subtle undercurrents of a possible romance between the two?????

I really enjoy Molly Black’s FBI series. I first started on the Taylor Sage series and at first I felt a little disappointed when I started reading Katie’s series. Each book dives deeper into Katie’s character, and her search for her twin. Help Me is a fast exciting read. I’m ready for the next one…. And what’s going to happen to LeBlanc!!

I have been rabidly reading this series and am up to #6 now. I will be sad when this one ends because the characters have definitely drawn me into the stories. I can’t wait to start #6!
You won’t be disappointed in any of her books, she is a wonderful writer.

This book has a serial killer who’s killing only women. Unfortunately the women all look like Katie. Lots of excitement and travel. Gripping and dangerous! Leblanc and Katie are getting closer as partners but will they become lovers too?
