Hold on to your seats, this Cozy Mystery is an exciting adventure!
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
Another will written Miami murder mystery family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Patti Benning (Miami Slice Cozy Mystery book 3). Cassie's boss is coming in from Maine to visit her grandmother. A woman 🚺 who is looking at buying the condos where the grandmother lives is killed in a hit-n-run. Cassie's boss is accursed. But Cassie and Anthony help in catching the killer. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening to different types of books 📚. 2022 👒☺☺
This spinoff series really hits its stride in this book. The characters are more fully developed and their relationships more fully explored. The story concept was entertaining. The mystery was well plotted and held my interest. A great addition to this series.
What should've been a relaxing time for Ellie for visiting her Nonna and her Florida pizza location turned out to be a nightmare when she was suspected of murder. Heck, if she wanted to do that, she could've stayed home in Maine, right? But Cassie really liked her boss even more now that she'd met her in person a couple of times and knowing Ellie would do the same thing for her, she grabbed her sister and Antonio to do some sleuthing.
I got a feeling early on of whodunit, but I admit to being sidetracked a little by another suspect or two (no worries, never Ellie!) The showdown was exciting, and it was a good thing Cassie had along her kinda boyfriend who was a security guard and came in handy. Cassie and Antonio had made good sleuthing buddies on what turned out to be a very weird date. Can't wait to borrow the next in KU.
A visit from Ellie the owner throws Cassandra on a cleaning spree at the pizzeria as she wants to make a good second impression. But she will start having second thoughts about her boss when she becomes a suspect in murder.
She does not realize her boss seem to attract murder wherever she goes. Can she save her boss? It is a quick fun addition in this spinoff series.
When her boss comes to town for the first time since she was manager Cassie is worried about giving her boss Ellie a good impression. The visit starts out well until Ellie is suspected of a hit and run murder. The story really develops the characters and keeps you guessing. It was a fun read and hopefully there will be more books in this series.
Cassie is worried because the boss, Ellie is coming to town. Things get crazy when Ellie's car is damaged and a local real estate agent is found dead. Cassie really wants to solve the murder but is worried what her boss will think.
Another great read from Patti Benning. Great to have old characters show up with new characters. Well written and keeps you drawn in.
