Rate this book
A Stolen Twin.

A Family Secret.

A Dangerous Cult.

Carla Bisset wants nothing more than to put the tragedy of her past behind her and provide a normal life for her daughter Lydia. The abduction of Lydia’s twin, Nadia, has left the family prey to sordid media tabloids, and Lydia hounded by paparazzi.

A move to a small, sleepy town in central New York provides several years of respite from the public eye. But when three men are found brutally murdered in the park near the Bissets’ home, Carla finds her world once again uprooted and plunged into darkness.

For investigative journalist Katie Garrison and Detective Don Anderson, the initial search for the missing Bisset twin left a lot of dead ends.

The continued effort to find Nadia unravels a cunning web of deceit and betrayal, devised by a powerful family that will stop at nothing to fulfill its destiny.

I wanted to continue from Book 1 to see what the outcome would be having enjoyed Book 1. Parts of Book 2 were interesting to me. Other parts left me confused as to their purpose to the story. Plus...I didn’t realize the story doesn't end here. Not sure if I'll continue to Book 3.

Book 2, The Incarnation of Lydia Bisset and book 1, The Other Nadia Bisset are the same exact book. Chapters 1 - 16 and 18 are the same chapters. Chapter 17 in book 2 is the only chapter that is different from book 1 but it follows the same story. Chapter 17 in book 1 is the same as chapter 19 in book 2. Chapter 19 in book 1 is the same as chapter 20 in book 2 and that is how it is all the way to chapter 64 in book 2. Book 1 has 63 chapters, book 2 has 64 because of chapter 17, the only difference between both books. They both have the same ending.

I enjoyed reading Book 1 and was looking forward to reading book 2. However, when I noticed that chapter 1 in book 2 was the same as book 1, I went through both books to make sure it wasn't just the first chapter. There is a note in book 2 that tells you that if you received book 1, June 13 through June 17 and error was made, and you got the manuscript for book 2. The note said to update book 1 to get the correct one. I could not find a way to refresh or update the book. I deleted the book and got it again today hoping I would get the correct one, but it is still the same book as Book 2. I was very disappointed because I had been planning to read all 3 books. How can there be a trilogy when book 1 and book 2 are the same books? I decided not to get book 3.

I wish there was some sort of diagram that showed the history and the linking of each character, there is so many.
I did enjoy this book as it answered a few questions from the first book however I did get a little lost with all the history and characters.
I read it in one day and it did keep me intrigued.

Wish I could have read it but the content of this book was exactly the same as the first one. I was unable to download a new copy even with Amazon help. So I just gave up.
