Only available on Anystories app. It’s 49 coins a chapter, and 500 coins for $5. Meaning it’s 50 cents a chapter. WAY too expensive!! Shame on this author for charging so much for a book with misspellings, incorrect grammar, and she literally copies and previous chapters into new ones so you’re paying for 2-3 pages of the previous copy.
All of these ratings are bots promoting the app anystories, which states online that it is free and it most definitely isn’t free. I was sucked in to the few pages I was able to read but I am not purchasing coins to continue the story. I will stick with Scrbd
Good story line I suppose, but terrible grammar and spelling mistakes. 86 chapters, this author is a con, with how bad the grammer is and I have to keep buying to read.
I feel like if this book was written better, it coulda had real potential to fill out into a great story line. It gives me Jason McCann fan fiction vibes but with 5 guys. The fact that it’s only available on that one app is a complete rip off bc it’s not worth paying for. Not until it was properly edited at least. There’s a variety of holes in the story that aren’t filled correctly or were filled too fast just to develop another situation leading to loads of confusion. & for a reverse harem I expected more spice. I mean she was only with two of the guys and neither was the one I thought she would be with first because Logan was completely head of heels for her. Her viewpoint of lost broken girl to girl on fire escalated too quickly without giving enough story to really see her change. Same goes with bringing Wyatt into it. I don’t feel like that’s something Emma would have done, it seems completely out of her character.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The entire time, I just kept thinking why am I still reading this? Omg. This is God awful. Why isn't there any proof reading/editing happening? This is the dumbest book I've ever read. No. Do not recommend. I'd like my time back please.
This book started of so strong. I was wholesome and the characters made sense. But halfway trough it all went wrong. I would recommend it, but only until Emma desires to go undercover.

One of the worst books I‘ve read. The beginning was okay and I just kept reading thinking maybe it will get better. The spice was not spicy at all. The End was just too much and came abruptly. Not worth it
Finally finished. - Read this through Anystories App on Apple. So took ages to unlock all the chapters.
Once you get past the spelling mistake and the odd mix-up with characters.
It was a good story and I would happily read it again.
Emma - has been dealt a really s**t life. Her dad tried to kill her has a kid and succeeding in killer her mum instead, he sold her off and prostitute her out. He's just a really nasty piece of work.
The Dark Angels - Asher, Jayden, Leo and Logan are her bullies but they have only been bullying her to keep her away from them them as they all really like her and they are all criminals and murderers thanks to Asher's dad dodgy criminal ways.
I have to say Jayden and Logan were my favourite Angels. I liked the darkness in Jayden but the sweet story about hair ties and Logan was just funny and sweet. I know I should have disliked them all for since they bullied her but it's true what they say about pulling the pigtails of the girl they like.
I am a sucker for these pay per chapter ads I swear. I wish I could go back and stop myself from starting it. It wasn’t really a bad story, I would say, but it was a little all over the place and the main character is one of those flawless people who overcome everything completely and everyone seems to love her for no reason types. The relationships that you read it for are only half-hashed out even by the end. I think this is a pretty okay rough draft of a story, but nothing promotional or worth the amount of money I impulsively spent to read it
This thing is awful, I rage read through all 85 chapters dodging ads because I didn’t want to pay 50 cent a chapter for this stuff. The fact that I managed to read it free of charge is the only upside this story has. It’s full of misspellings and grammar mistakes, the actual plot is incoherent and unrealistic. I kept going because I wanted to see how it ended, but even if mafia romance with reverse harem is your thing I bet there’s something better out there. Spare yourself, really.
Not sure how this is getting 5 stars, other than 75% of them being from bots for the pay scam apps.
The MFC is a way over the top Mary Sue. The “spice” was bland. The MFC’s trauma was never fully worked through and pushed aside so she could become some “beautiful, cute, adorable, small, little bada**”, what?? Any character development went from 1 to 100, but I guess that was primarily to push literally almost every male interaction at the MFC.
i got sucked into reading it, first through an instagram ad and then through the first 4 chapters being free/unlocked, and i was really concerned about having to pay for all the coins and that it wouldn’t end up being any good like some of the reviews here suggest. i mean, yea there are a good amount of spelling and grammar mistakes, but those are pretty easy to ignore; even for someone with wicked bad ocd, but i’m also just so used to reading through spelling mistakes that i genuinely didn’t notice most of them. i do wish that some things were more explained and there were parts i wasn’t too happy with, but that’s part of being a reader and overall it was a really good book. it only took me like 2 days to read the whole thing, i couldn’t put my phone down! it’s kind of cool how you can comment on each section throughout the book, to see what other readers thought during that part. i will say that the only way i will give more money to this app is for the sequel to this book if we ever get one; or if i fall for the trap and get sucked in by instagram again.
i can’t say much about the app where it’s published, AnyStories, so i did copy down the pages so i’d be able to go back and read it again, just in case; i fear if i continue to have the app, i may spend more money that i don’t have.
This book was recommended by an ad on Instagram and that should have been the tip-off. First off, it didn’t match the advertisement. Secondly, it was very teen/tween/young adult but with some very hard topics such as abuse, sexual abuse and harassment, bullying, suicide, and suicidal ideation. The characters were unrealistic with emotional rollercoasters and core beliefs that changed at the drop of a hat.
I made it 18 chapters before I was informed that there were 85 chapters + an epilogue and I was done reading it. It was advertised as a spicy romance book, but there’s no spice, which is probably good because the characters are all in high school. 🥴
Overall, the trope was good: bully romance with four saviors with a “who did this to you?” attitude. But it was poorly executed and not proofread or edited and the mistakes were jarring and took me out of the story every time.
Ok, so the amount of money they’re expecting people to pay for what reads like a rough draft and is absolutely riddled with typos, incorrect character names etc etc is, frankly, outrageous.
I got suckered into this one from Insta and the free chapters, but let me tell you before you fall into the same trap - IT IS NOT WORTH PAYING THAT SORT OF MONEY FOR.
The FMC is one of those SpEsHaL characters that everyone falls in love with for absolutely no reason - even 100 people who’ve never even met her. I shit you not. If you can’t tell, it devolved into utter nonsense and I have nothing but regret.
The potential you might see from the first few chapters is not realised. It had the bones of something that could have been good, but it needs a full rewrite.
I noted from other comments that this book is on pay by chapter sites.... I came by it on a truely free site... So I'm not sure how this draft would differ from the final product?! It's very much a rough draft. There are plenty of trigger moments! But the triggers are not just there for ppls twisted amusement, like in some stories. For what it is, it is well written, great character development, especially for the primary. In the end it a kinda beautiful story Recommended
The 5* are only for the 1st story of Emma and her Dark Angels.
Please note: In the versions I read, there is a 2nd book attached at the end with different characters..... the 2nd, I do not recommend it! I can read most things and not be too triggered but from chapter 1 right to the last posted I was deeply triggered and raging about why the write would write this, why the character has to suffer this.... But being a reader, I pressed on, hoping there was the "light at the end of the tunnel." As the 2nd story is not yet finished, there is not
I started reading this book by chance on the app anystories and I honestly don’t know what I was waiting for in reading it. The author hooks her claws in you, by starting with something traumatic and you just can’t help but to continue reading to find out what happens next. It’s amazing to find out how strong Emma really is even through all the hardships she’s had to go through in life and now with the support of her dark angels, just wow. You are able to read this book on the app AnyStories which currently is having a big gift and discount going on right now. To make it easy for you I have added the link too! https://m.anystories.app/stories/608b...

Honestly, the book caught my attention immediately. It had an interesting concept all around and dealt with some intense subjects. I loved the love and loyalty towards Emma. I was not a fan of the ending though, especially the chapter before the end. It just seemed kinda rushed and I just didn’t feel satisfied with the ending. I wanted more. But it was an okay book! Kept my attention enough to definitely want to finish it! Again, I enjoyed up until closer to the end. Just landed flat to me.
Oh and I was able to read it for free on a website, not one of those annoying apps you have to pay for each chapter. Irritates me beyond compare.
This book on Anystories is very captivating. You really feel for the main character and it highlights the importance of stopping bullying in schools as well as paying attention to children. If you have trauma this book maybe triggering because the main character faces abuse at home and at school, so read with caution. The story sucks you in page by page and you hope the heroine has a happy ending with everything she goes through. If interested check it out here:
-1 star : The FMLC is so 2d. No real character building and a lot of pitty party indecisiveness. PTSD is poorly written in and trauma is poo-poo'ed away. (Which there is a ton of) -1 star: I can't even express how much I was triggered by the pacing and spelling errors. -1 star: The cost of the whole novel is over $40 for 86 small chapters -1 star: ZERO TRIGGER WARNINGS! Come on authors, it's 2023!
Way too expensive for how poorly it is written. How does an abuse victim go from screaming in the hospital to kissing a random ass dude a couple of chapters later? Thats not even the worst part, she has ZERO chemistry/anything with the BULLY she kisses. Thats literallt within the first 15 chapters. Im still going to read it but omg this style of pacing and character development is only found in a
