love
I loved everything about this book! Those Lassiters are the G O A T.
Another wedding is on the way for the Lassiter sister, Sapphire (phire) LT is on the outs with his half siblings Lauren & Lawrence, they feel like they shouldn’t be responsible for their father’s extra martial affairs which brought on outside children.
Phire is trying to get the siblings to connect and come together, but Lauren isn't having it!
This is my second time reading this book! It just as good as the first time I read it! I love The Lassiter Clan.

Once Again!
Once again, the Lassiter family came together for another marriage for a Gem. Sapphire was the last daughter to jump the broom. Sapphire and LT were on their journey since Sapphire was in grad school. Phire was the brainiac who knocked the Mayor, the wealthy businessman, off his rocker. She also gave readers the time of our lives. I already expected Sapphire and her crew would need to bring out their restingbeetchface when LT’s mean girl sister tried to one-up Opal and Sapphire. The hate some of these folks have for the Lassiter’s is astounding, when they are just minding their business living their best life. Then, again, jealousy is an ugly serving of justice. I expected the drama part,and I expected that LT would hold down his woman the same way she covers his back. The love of family in each Gems and Gents tale or any set of connected individuals, are given the best possible story every time this author puts pen to paper. It is always delightful to see characters from this authors vast library of tales. Nate Reigns stopping by was an extra special treat. And any story featuring Al “Turk”Day,or Joshua Lassiter and I am in heaven. I’m just saying. You all need to check out Sapphire’s wedding story, it was worth the build-up, the wait and the conclusion.

Yes, as you can imagine, this will not be a typical wedding. Let us take stock of a few key elements in this elaborate event that no one wants to miss;

4.) The love and commitment between them, (LT & Phire)
5.) Event Planner extraordinaire, Cynthia Lassiter.
We have all watched Sapphire mature and come into her own. She is the one that will likely be the head of the Lassiter's patriotic legacy. In their first book: PHIRE, one defining moment that stood out was how LT trusted and commissioned Phire to protect his heart. This came with the knowledge of her limited experience with relationships. With a life-threatening stunt, she failed at her first attempt. Now, hunty Ms. Sapphire Lassiter, soon-to-be Palmer, is racking up points in spades with how she has protected LT and guarded his heart.
It should be no surprise why this self-made billionaire was the perfect choice for the mayor of this town. Lawrence 'LT' Palmer continues to live in the area that supplied his humble beginnings and allowed him to understand the fabric of its system. I love reading about the Lassiter Family.
We have the wedding of LT and Phire (Sapphire Josephine). Just like their story if you haven't read it I strongly urge you to do it, "A Risky Affair" is Fire, I'm just saying LOL!!!!
LT and Phire had quite a time preparing themselves for their wedding, particularly his 2 siblings. LT's father was quite the ladies' man, having several babies by different women if you know the story, LT's mom was black and he wanted to leave everything for her but it cost her, her life.
LT's other siblings harbored no ill will toward him because they are also victims of their dad's infidelity. Phire had to make LT see that they aren't his enemies. But their other two siblings are.
One thing we all know about the Lassiters is that they will protect their own, LT is in the family and nobody and I do mean nobody according to Phire will hurt him in any way, and if they should try then the wrath of Phire will rain down upon them.
LT and Phire's wedding story was absolutely beautiful, and just to think this whole story of families goes back from the beginning starting with President JD's story before he was president. Time sure flies when you are having a great time.

I enjoyed this book so much I listened to it twice. I NEVER listen to or read anything twice in a row. I listened to the audiobook and thought the narration was good.
I thought it would be even better with a female narrator like Wesleigh Siobhan, Adenrele Ojo, or Mari. I could almost hear one of them being Phire, Opal, Sally, etc. Still, Winston James was good.
I realized with this book that I don't mind drama as long as it's not that lingering type between a couple. Outside drama is fine. The way the Lassiter women handle it, even better.
The suspense, the intrigue, the danger, and the references to current events all worked in this book. Also the strong sense of family support, loyalty, and integrity, while doing what needs to be done.
I loved that Phire didn't spend all her time giving Lauren and Lawrence the benefit of the doubt.
I definitely plan to learn more about the Lassiter family. I am looking forward to reading the Gems and Gents books.

LT Palmer and Sapphire Lassiter went through a lot to get to their HEA. As I began this book I could see their was still obstacles in the form of two of LT’s half siblings. They created a great deal of havoc for the couple. When I tell you I wanted to snatch his sister Lauren’s head of her neck.I’m just saying.
She was as crazy her as her mother😡
As I read the story I kept thinking to myself did I miss a book in the Gems and Gents series because there were a few things that We’re referenced to have taken place in the past that I didn’t recall. So glad I purchased all the books I may have to go back and reread

it gets better each book
I’m Loving this wedding series. Each book brings the heat and drama. I swear these parents/family members are the worse. They seem to get crazier or more bizarre with each book. In typical Phire fashion she and LT burned up the pages. Certain parts I had to read over and over again. Phire certainly turned out ti be something else. Well written, with conversation between characters as I were talking to my own family. Next to LT and Phire my favorite characters were Granny and Mr. Green. Lauren and the council woman worked a nerve. I am so looking forward to the next wedding.

Love abounds
LT & Sapphire’s story had everything you need for an enjoyable book. You will laugh at the antics of the siblings, cheer on the underdog and scream at the love displayed. Catching up with the Lassiter family was epic. Many new babies, friendships mending, and the unexpected explained. Family first and foremost is the biggest takeaway.
A must read if you are wondering.

I love this book
I laugh and cry when reading this story. I love the Tight knit family that come together when something happen to of their sibling. I cry when LT brother poison his granny over money and the end Phire got them back by taking all their money. LT half sibling got control their father company . I’m glad that mint and lt made up. I laugh hard when Amber when labor at the reception and to find her and Adam were having twin. Can’t for the next wedding.

Loved it!
I loved this book it was on Phire 🔥! I enjoyed the story line and the characters were very entertaining. I loved the chemistry between LT and Phire was intense and smoking hot 🔥! I love this series I own some of the books but plan on getting them all. The drama and suspense and romance are on point, you start reading and you do not want to put the book down. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed with this book.

I knew from the jump this was gonna be hot!! Not in that Way! LOL LT and his seven half siblings against the Lauren & Lawrence had all the family drama! Just add a wedding and all the Lassiters and you got yourself some fun and revenge in ways you never see coming! Ole snobby Lauren didn’t know who she was dealing with until she encountered the scorching of Phire Lassiter!

Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. LT and Phire’s road to their wedding was filled with joy. However, attempts of sabotage from LT’s siblings who consider themselves the legitimate offspring of his father, threaten their nuptials. Rest assured the Lassiter family and friends never fail to handle the situation. Great read, I look forward to the next installment.

Another great Lasseter book. Enjoyed Matt and Leah's story. It was a great follow up from the Adonis story. All the family was included in the story. Love the Lassiter girls stick togetherness. What one of them is going through they are not going through it alone.The only think that should have happen is the brothers should have done more to Leah's dad for hitting Sally. Just another great read from Iris Bolling

As always Iris Bolling knocks it out of the park every time she pens a story. This time is no different, with the long awaited wedding of Phire Lassiter and LT Palmer. There was enough heat and intrigue to keep you turning the pages of your Kindle, and enough family drama to make you realize that you will risk it all for love!!!

I waited for this book and I was not disappointed. I laughed the entire time I read it. I knew White and JT was going to be the bomb.com before I even read it, and I wasn't wrong. Pure genius!! All I can say is, don't sleep on this book, go get it A.S.A.P!! Loved every minute of it.

Great read
Another exceptional read. Great characters with each having just the right ebb and flow throughout the story. The no B.S. mayor who is as real of a brother regardless of his station in life. The family over everything is very much the feeling of love and togetherness. A well done novel!

I'm just saying....this was a great story...I loved how the half sibs were handled...I like the roles that were played among the Lassiters...they protect and love hard...the bigotry was a hard pill...the poisonings were shocking... payback is a mutual...Mr Green is a hoot...the bachelorette party was the bomb....the wedding was spectacular...

A wonderful story
I truly love the Lasseter family. Every time I read a new book about them it makes me want to read their entire series again. This one was no different. It's been so interesting to see Phire grow up through the series and to see her come full circle and get marked and start her career was amazing. A great and quick read!

Wheww… Lies, poisoning family member, cheating scandals and racism. Oh and a lovely wedding! Lol Iris Bolling gave you everything in this book. I really enjoyed it. One thing you cant do is try to mend broken fences when money is involved in the family. Especially when you were born because your father cheated on his wife and had multiple babies. My goodness. Very entertaining.

This story is Wow. This story had a lot of action in it. Granny and Mr. Green are hilarious. Never make LT or Phire angry. The family was able to help LT set up 5 of his siblings for life. Old hurts were put aside. Everyone came together for the wedding.

I loved this book and catching up with the Lassiter family. They are always there for each other and provide plenty of laughs. This book was well written and I can’t wait to see what happens next with the wedding for Matthew and Leah.
