After the last book, my curiosity was piqued and was eagerly waiting for Aaryan’s story to unfold as it would take me a step further to my fav. Dev. Aaryan, with a hidden agenda, meets a mystery woman at a masquerade and attraction flares between them. He then learns she’s the same woman he’s out to seek, his enemy’s sister, Sanjana. He plans to befriend her and use her for his own gain, but Sanjana proves to be one step ahead of him. She too plans exactly that, and in her naivety puts his life at risk. Fearless and bold, she is enthralled by Aryan the more she meets him and falls in love with him. Wanting to make amends for endangering his life, she proposes a deal with him, which requires them to live in close proximity and she uncovers the entire truth about his enmity with her brother. Their push and pull relationship turns intense and their chemistry hot and fiery. Aryan is unable to trust her, and she, in turn, tries all the tricks in the book to lure him. What happens thereafter? Will Aryan be able to forget everything and trust Sanjana? Will Dev agree to their relationship?

Aryan, haunted by his past, is his family’s anchor, taking his role as an elder sibling seriously. He is loyal to the core, and his scenes with Sanjana are a delight to read. The way she eggs him on and needles him is entertaining. Sanjana is one of the sassiest, mouthy, and cockiest female leads I’ve read. With her love for the French language, she is pure sunshine. Aryan tries his best to stay away from her but is irresistible to her persistence. The other characters are lovable, especially the bickering between Vihaan and Sanjana and the adorable Neil. Secrets unfold, relationships get tested and the climax will leave you gasping for more. It’s nail-biting and electrifying. Falling in love with Dev a little more, am desperately waiting for his story. If you love edgy, romantic thrillers, this one is not to be missed.

Loved the romance

Sanjana is truly worth it. I just loved to see a woman who was bold to own her desires and a man who was a gentleman to the T as lead hero. Most often I come across jerk lead heros, even Sapna's heroes have had a jerk moment here and there but Aaryan has to be her best creation in male species ever. Such a character would termes boring but not when Sapna is writing him. I loved him a lot. Reminded me of Viraaj from Living on the edge(Sehgal series).

The romance was so out of control and spontaneous but it works miraculously.

Now we are heading for the most awaited story next. Already preordered My Sinner. The story I'm waiting for. I can't wait to figure out Dev and I can't wait to see what their crazy angsty love is going to be like. Loved how Avi faced him heads on in the last chapter leaving the fragileness aside. Also owning those scars before him was superb.

Sanjana's wrist having those cuts and her bizzare explanation tells me that she went through what Avi did and that might've been the reason why Dev had to stand by and watch his own destruction. Or is there more? Always did feel it was for Sanjana.

But what I'm confused about is why would Dev search for Avantika madly for 12 years to just let go her after 12 days. The man we've seen so far is not capable of that, not after all the lengths he went to to find her.

I have a nagging feeling that their escape was pre mediated by Dev but he just didn't know where they went and the Rajiv connection. Rajiv does irk Dev a lot. Would love to see more of that too in next book. Also there is Neil. Sanjana's emotions around Neil was palpable. Can't wait for November now.

An Intoxicating Dance of Deception and Desire

Aryan, burdened by the ghosts of his past, assumes the role of his family's anchor, embracing his responsibilities as the elder sibling with unwavering loyalty. The interactions between Aaryan and Sanjana are nothing short of delightful, filled with playful banter and tantalizing exchanges. Sanjana emerges as one of the sassiest, most audacious female leads crafted by this talented author, and I found myself captivated by her unbreakable bond with Dev, her unwavering love for Aaryan, and above all, her loyalty and trust in her brother.

Despite his best efforts to resist her, Aaryan is powerless against Sanjana's unwavering persistence. The supporting characters are equally endearing, particularly the charming bickering between Vihaan and Sanjana, as well as the adorable presence of Neil. Secrets unfurl, and relationships are put to the test, leading to a climax that will leave you breathless, craving for more. The suspense is riveting, electrifying every page with anticipation.

Prepare to be drawn into an intoxicating dance of deception and desire, where the lines between love and loyalty blur, and the journey to trust become an all-consuming pursuit.

Please don't waste your time on this and I'm saying this as a fan of Bhog's "My Ruin."
To begin with, this book has no plot. I'm not joking, it seriously doesn't. If you would've told me this was written by the author of the Sehgal Saga I would've told you to sleep off your hangover but here we are.
Regardless, let's get into the book.
"My Enemy" charts the story of Aaryan Rajpoot and Sanjana Luthra. Aaryan is the oldest brother, portrayed as stoic, responsible and capable - he's the planner and his family's guardian angel. He is, of course, written with the intention of capturing the archetype of the silent brooding antihero but comes off as utterly clueless at best and a compounding looney headache at worst. Despite having no personality except for being straight-faced, he does manage to pull an okayish run in a few exceptional scenes due to and yep you guessed it - the traumatic childhood backstory. However, trust me when I say, he's the least problematic of them all.
Sanjana, our heroine is projected as a strong, brave and bold woman who has a heart full of empathy despite being a bit naïve. However, she comes across as hilariously stupid with literally zero intelligence. Her French transitions are incorporated so inorganically that I'd rather believe that hippos sing songs at midnight than believing that she comes from a French-speaking country. She is, simply put, one of the worst characters I've ever read. She, like her male counterpart, is irritating at best, and completely irrelevant to the story at worst.
And because having two unlikeable lead characters wasn't enough, Sapna graces us with a "plot" (spoiler alert - no, it's not a plot) that is so ridiculous that I wanted to curse myself for ever picking this up. This one has so many plotholes that there is no plot left.
Can we address the hilarious climax sequence by the way?

This is my humble request to you Sapna - stop with the female characters slut shaming each other. I can't take it anymore. This woman has no redeeming quality in my eyes, you can give her the most traumatic backstory ever and I still won't forgive this.
Also, are we going to address the fact that she literally copied this entire series from MV Kasi's one. If you're into this sort of plot, go give her series a read which is a far better and more importantly, original version of whatever crap this is supposed to be.
Also, Sapna sweetie, try your "these are common tropes" argument with someone who doesn't read this genre regularly. Yes, I see these tropes on a daily basis, but seeing the exact same combination happening in an almost identical narrative and sequence - not once in the 700 odd books that I've read in this genre. Fool someone else.

An enemies to lovers romance novel with Grumpy, smart, billionaire hero who would go to any lengths to protect all the people he loves. A heroine who is sassy, bold, beautiful and can do anything for her brother, including entrapping his enemy or the love of her life😻😻😻😻😻😻
Uff!!!! saying that this book was a good read would be an understatement, This was by far my favourite book and Sapna Bhog is really raising the bars higher with every book in the bond of brothers series.
To be honest I was excited to read more about Dev and to get more snippets about his and Avantika's relationship (can't wait for book 4 anymore🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺) I refused to agree that I could love any couple in this series more that them, and then comes Sanjana Luthra proving me wrong. The tension between Aaryan and Sanjana was 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌 and the way she was hell bent on making Aaryan realise that whatever they both had was real and she would now do anything to make them happen and end whatever animosity between him and her brother.
And the banter that Sanjana and Vihaan shared was hilarious to read they accounted for some of the most fun to read scenes EVER 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is definitely making it to my favourites of the year .

Before you dive into this review, kindly note that it comes from someone who has read the first three books in the series and is only writing this to delay reading the fourth book.

This book series was recommended by a friend, and it's so unlike the murder mysteries I'm used to. Had she not recommended, I wouldn't have picked it up.

Here's what you can expect from this series: A light and easygoing, enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance with the broody billionaire MMC fighting his feelings cuz this love is forbidden for some "xyz reason" and the FMC fighting for their love only for the MMC to realize he wants this love too after he screws it up exponentially.
*cue drama and more drama.. *add some miscommunication.. And you have it—the formula for so many Indian entertainment series I grew up watching.

What you don't expect is the MMC's (the Rajpoot brothers) lil sister being a bitch. Yup! There.. I said it. She is such a massive, colossal bitch, and normally I don't hate women characters, but someone needs to tell her that no matter how much trauma you suffer in your past, slut-shaming women is never okay.

Avi, I never see you call your brothers man-whores, but why is it that whenever you come across any woman character, most of whom have very limited sexual experiences (2/3 women were virgins), your first instinct is to disrespect them by calling them derogatory names? All the while, it's your brothers who rotate women for their sexual needs.

It's infuriating. Which is why I've been dreading picking up the fourth book. But I want to read Dev's story, so I guess I'll have to push through.(‘~`;)

Thankfully, Avi's pagetime in these books has been almost negligible (except for the third book), hence the high rating.

tl;dr.: I'm creating an anti-Avi online community. Anyone wanna join?(。•̀ᴗ-)✧

My Enemy by Sapna Bhog Book Review by Njkinny

Read the complete Book Review by Njkinny, and my favourite book quotes from My Enemy by Sapna Bhog on Njkinny's Blog.

I have been following Sapna Bhog’s engrossing, and edge-of-your-seat romantic suspense “Bond of Brothers Book Series“. And so, was eagerly awaiting to read this third instalment in this romance quartet. So, as soon as My Enemy released I grabbed a copy, and only looked up from the book once it finished!

This book is a heartfelt enemies to lovers romance featuring a tortured and intense hero, and a lonely heroine yearning to belong.

I was sucked right from the start, and felt a part of the story throughout!

The suspense, romance, emotional play, narration, and engagement factor- everything is perfect in this book.

In all, this is another stellar addition to the “Bond of Brothers Romantic Suspense Book Series”. It is entertaining, swoon worthy, emotional, and a total page-turner! So, Njkinny Recommends this sizzling and gripping Indian Romance to all adult lovers of romance novels.

4.5 out of 5 stars to My Enemy, and I am so eager to read the conclusion to this amazing book series now!

DNF AT 50%
This is my first read from this author and what a disappointing read!
Here is the thing, this book was total hindi television serial that grandmas enjoy in their free time. The characters were so bland especially the female lead who without any proper plan decided to meet her brother's enemy, then instead of getting useful information this heroine was eating chocolate desert, vomiting her true identity to her enemy and the best part falling in love with the hero just on being 3 dates with him (40% into the story).....this women didn't even knew his true identity, story or where he lived for Gods sake! if this wasn't enough after her so called plan failed and the hero got kidnapped, near death experience and the blow out, she further goes and begs for forgiveness to this hero, woman get some self respect. funny part she didn't even think twice about consequence her brother has to face or she has to face after hurting this hero still keeps on visiting him......that being said she took stupid decisions from the start of the story, that's when I decided to dnf this, it was irritating and torcher to further read more.
No interesting interactions, no chemistry, boring plotline, irritating female lead, no banter, boring hero, execution was real bad I could go on and on.

Nothing in this book was good enough, as I said the main issue was the insta love which fell flat here, with dumbest heroine. not good!

Warning: 'My Enemy' may cause excessive swooning, laughter and irreversible book hangovers. Proceed with caution (and snacks)!

I devoured the first two books, but Aryan Rajpoot's story was the one I was eagerly waiting for. And oh boy, it did not disappoint! Paired with the feisty and brave Sanjana Luthra this book is a perfect fusion of romance, drama, and action.

Meet Sanjana Luthra, a spy-in-training with a simple mission: bring down the enemy. Enter Aaryan Rajpoot, the brooding billionaire with a penchant for control and a troubled past. Theirs is a love story that defies all logic, reason, and sanity.

What I loved:
- The sizzling chemistry between Sanjana and Aaryan (red hot, indeed!)
- Aaryan's transformation from ice-cold enemy to vulnerable lover
- Sanjana's bravery, loyalty, and determination (girl power!)
- The hilarious banter and witty one-liners

Sanjana is an amazing heroine:
- Unconditional love for her brother
- Feisty and adorable (perfect combo!)
- Loyal and trustworthy (Aryan's secret is safe with her)

Aryan, oh Aryan!
- Self-made empire builder
- Family protector extraordinaire
- Willing to sacrifice everything for love (swoon!)

Their love is forbidden, but fate has other plans. Will they choose love over loyalty?

Join the thrilling ride of 'My Enemy', where love conquers all, even sanity.

Till now this story is the best in Bond of Brothers

Story on Falling for Enemy is mostly common these days.
But Sapna you had done a great job by narrating it.
Aaryan is a soft man with a lot of emotions, who vowed himself that nothing is above her family, he is hell bent to be tied by a women. But a glimpse of her enemy, cracks his resolve.
She is enigma, feisty, full of life. She brought a light to his blackened heart.

Sanjana is full of life, but she is always feels lonely, just with a touch he becomes her home.

What a story had woven, their attraction, their chemistry, their love everything is beyond expectation.

Sapna,
Story of Aaryan and Sanjana is above My Ruin and My Rebel.
But I'm damn sure My Sinner will cross all the expectation of me. I'm eagerly waiting for Dev and Avi, their side of story, their 12 days, and oh my god Dev's fatherly emotions which will be revealed after knowing about Neil.

I had just a glimpse of their heart link, In my Rebel Dev just stopped in a place, where he can sense Avi, and in this he just knows that she is suv. What love is his, I think his betrayal towards rajpoots, reason is sanjana.

But I'm waiting Sapna pls Suprise me by Dev and Avi's story and pls pls release ASAP..... Can't wait till November

Before anything, was this series sponsored by burj kalifa??? It is the third book of the series and there's same description in all the books.

I loved the first two books of the series and I had such high expectations from this one too...but this one felt a bit boring...I love the whole family dynamic in the series and i was very excited for Aaryan and Sanjana's story but it didn't deliver.

Aaryan as a MMC was perfect but Sanjana was on another level. I loved her at some times, other times she was annoying AF and a bit too stupid. Overall they were good but something was missing.

Also as someone who's read all the books in the series, the whole past story and description felt overly repeated... some of the paragraphs were exactly copied from the second book of the series. There wasn't any new revelation or plot. Everything was same as the end of the second book

Although I am happy for the last book....I am so excited to read about Dev because I know he's much more than he's portrait. Hopefully that one will properly conclude the series

Beyond expectations, enjoyed everybit of it

Aaryan Rajpoot is trying to get more information on his arch enemy Dev Luthra's weakness, his sister Sanjana Luthra. He has to somehow find something so that he can protect his family from Dev Luthra, and Sanjana is the only option.

Sanjana Luthra has been kept away for 12 years from all the mess and chaos in Dev's life. But now she wants to help her brother solve his issues and end the war between Aaryan and Dev.

Will Aaryan be able to protect his family? Will he be a prey or a predator? Will Sanjana be able to end the war or will the war intensify? Read on

This is the 3rd book in the bond of brothers series. Every book is better than the previous one. Loved the chemistry between Aaryan and Sanjana. The best about Sapna's books is the female characters in her stories. I adore Sanjana's character. Family bonding is what stands out in Sapna's books. I'm so looking forward to reading Dev and Avantika's story.

Oh My God!! What a twist!!

I read the earlier 2 books and honestly I was and wasn't too much into Aaryan's side of story but couldn't keep myself from reading this one. The moment the book started and it hooked me up till the end.

I absolutely loved the twist you brought in the climax where Avi faces Dev and agrees to his terms of being with him for 12 days.

I was already wanting to reading about Dev's side of story and after reading this one, I really can't wait to read your next book.

It's your writing style that makes this series so Awesome and tbh please if you can, release the book before Nov 2022 😉.

I am in awe of Aaryan, the brother, the survivor, the protector, the planner.

I completed this book even though I often felt like DNF-ing it. Unfortunately, it lacked a coherent plot, and a significant portion of the content consisted of repetitive inner monologues—mostly centered around the male lead, Dev, his family, their past, and female lead.

The story became monotonous, and by the time I reached 60%, I was just skimming. The emotional progression between the leads felt rushed and unconvincing. Falling in love by the third meeting, especially when they’re supposedly enemies, didn’t feel realistic.

Moreover, the female lead taking all the initiative in their physical relationship came off as desperate, particularly when the male lead wasn’t reciprocating clearly or showing equal emotional investment.

Every time a new book comes out in this series, it seems to surpass the previous ones. The characters may be familiar but the author focuses on both the inside and the outside of her two main characters. I love how both of them are bold and beautiful. I also love the loyalty between the family members as their shared history comes out. I can’t wait to read about Avi and Dev. I hope it releases ASAP.

Love comes knocking on ur door in the most unexpected way

So when sanjana n aryan met in the most unexpected way, they felt sparks from the 1st time, falling in love with ur enemy is destiny not their choice. Love the flow of the story and the last twist was dramatic.
Lets see what happens in the next part. I have read 2nd, 3rd, and now I'm itching to buy the 1st and 4th so I complete the stories in this series.

This Series is very powerful and this third part added to the fire. I got chills throughout the book and it completely blew my mind. This series as whole is going to give tough competition to other book in the market. Sanjana and Aaryan are very strong and independent characters and adding to there bond with the family is amazing.

Waiting for the next one.

Must Read!!
The entire series.
