The romance sucked in this one... I didn't feel their connection like the other couples.
I'm not trying to be a horny bitch, but why fade to black? Book 1 had so much passion.. this had NONE... I wanted to read them get freaky under the stars. It was set up so beautifully 🙄

It was a nice ending to the series, tho. I like that we found out what Alpha Drakes' deal was with mixing packs. Honestly, I felt bad for him.
Fingers crossed for a book on Vik. It would be funny for him to be fated to someone from a different pack.

The Final Salvation was sooo freakin good! It wrapped up the overall storyline quite nicely. The Final Salvation focuses on Diesel and Luca. I loved sassy Luca! Diesel was a little slower to open up, but he’s also protective of Luca. I loved catching up with all the couples from previous stories! Overall, a fantastic conclusion to the series. Well written with great pacing that flows!

I’ve enjoyed this series and I hope the authors write more stories together. I loved how this final book progressed the storyline to a satisfying conclusion, and gave closure to all the couples in the series while keeping the focus on Diesel and Luca.

I loved Luca who comes across as shy and introverted yet has no qualms in telling an alpha’s what’s what. He totally rocks. I love how Diesel is protective of him, and has convinced himself he doesn’t need anyone until he meets Luca. I like how they find common ground and friendship too, despite their wolves pushing them to mate already. I loved how their roles reverse in the bedroom and thought that was a nice twist. Ditto with the difference between Luca and his wolf.

I enjoyed catching up with characters from previous books, and liked Diesel’s friends, Seth and Manuel.

Murry is a cute addition to the series.

The action scenes are well written and tense. I read the book in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down. I loved the politics behind the rift between the different packs, and the social commentary that went with it.

This is the conclusion to this trilogy. You must read the previous books first to understand and enjoy this book. This is the story of Luca Bassani and Diesel Jones. Luca is a shy, quiet man who enjoys his IT work. He also is the donor that is keeping his alpha healthy from The Slow Death. It is a honor to him to help his alpha in that way. Unfortunately, his alpha has enemies within the West Pack. Targeting the alphas mate or Luca would have the same effect. It would destroy his alpha. Diesel is an enforcer for the East Territory Pack. It is all he has ever known. It is a family tradition that he is carrying on from his father. Diesel is assigned to protect Luca. While Luca knows it is necessary it isn't always easy to share his life. This is their story. There is a lot of chemistry between Luca and Diesel. Along with their relationship, the finale answers outstanding questions from the two previous books and gives us an update on how everyone is doing. As well as the status on The Sudden Death that they all have been working on to eliminate. This was an enjoyable book to read. It is well written and the story just flows. I really enjoyed it.

THIS IS AMAZING

This is Book #3 in this FOUR PACKS TRILOGY!! It was everything I hoped for and more. This tied up all loose ends and was ended with a stellar happily ever after for ALL. This is about Luca, the transfusion donor to the Alpha and Diesel the Alpha enforcer. How these two haven't met is beyond me but they are fated mates. This was a FANTABULOUS Book. I absolutely loved this Trilogy. BL MAXWELL AND NIC STARR both have impressive catalogs of Books. These two combining their talents gives you the best of both. This is a MAGNIFICENT Trilogy with a common theme. I absolutely loved this Trilogy. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS AMAZING FOUR PACKS TRILOGY!!!!!!!!!!

Luca is the perfect IT person to be working on the blood donor database which could be a key component to saving lives in the pack. It turns out, however, he's needed by his alpha in a much more direct way as a blood donor. The fact that his alpha is under a threat earns Luca his own protector in the form of Diesel, the enforcer. This is a wonderful take on the bodyguard/protectee and fated mates tropes and a very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.

Absolutely brilliant
Diesel knew when he was growing up he would be enforcer for the pack, His whole family has been enforcers so he works hard trained hard to become the best he could. So when he’s put in charge of the alphas TSD blood donor Luca, he knows it’s a big job. If you would listen to diesels friends that was all he did was work hard so they knew he would look after Luca. But the problem was that wasn’t the only reason that diesel wanted to keep him safe. it was because he also knew he is his fated mate.
Luca was happy that he could help out with the Alpha. But he also appreciated that he was creating the database so others could do the same thing. Or if they got TSD they could find a donor on this database to help. When he’s given an enforcer to help with his safety he’s confused by the scent of diesel. He knows he’s attracted to him but it isn’t until they touch and he feels a Jolt every time. He knows he is his fated mate.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I couldn’t put it down, this whole series has been amazing and It’s great catching up with old faces from other books in the past. mainly I have just got to congratulate the writers on this fantastic series.
Diesel and Luca have a fantastic connection. Their passion and chemistry is just off the charts, there is something very lovely about these two. But can he keep him safe??

I really don’t wanna give too much away because this is the last book and it concludes everything so well please make sure you read this book in order to get the best out of the series . Fantastic read.

Everything wrapped up beautifully in this last book

After the efforts to find a cure for the Slow Death and a solution to the problems with the West Pack, this book leaves no loose ends and there's a happy ever after for all the fated mates.
Continuing on with the West Pack causing more trouble, their Alpha reaching his end game, the Slow Death plays its own part in his ambitiously awful plan.
In potential danger, Luca is assigned his own personal bodyguard, Diesel, an enforcer for the East Pack. Together, dedicated and conscientious and very much in love, they are vital to the survival of their Alpha and their Pack.
After meeting Luca in the first two books, I was really happy to see him get his own book. He and Diesel didn't disappoint, their love as great as that of both the earlier couples, Zander and Marrok and Grady and Max. The epilogue rounds off the story with the resolutions all four Packs have been seeking and shows all three mated pairs happy, and that's all I wanted and needed for this original trilogy.

Fantastic Final Book . . .

Luca Bassani, a talented IT tech (geek), is a compatible blood donor for the pack Alpha Alexander Kingston (“Zander”). His blood keeps the Alpha alive while they look for cures to The Slow Death. Diesel Jones is one of the Alpha enforcers who is charged with keeping Luca, the indispensable donor, alive and safe. They had met when a threat to Zander’s life made it necessary for Diesel to step in as Luca’s bodyguard, and they are totally surprised to find that they are so strongly drawn together because they are Fated Mates. The political repercussions of the rival packs trying to deal with The Slow Death keeps things tense as some will do anything to get the cure and take over the other packs. Grab your copy and see how the situation resolves as we come to the end of the Trilogy.

The Final Salvation ends the series in a lovely way, tying up all those threads.

I'd liked the glimpses of Luca that we got in the first book and I'm glad he had a story.

The romance is a slower burn with Diesel denying his feelings until later on. Once it got going though, it was great.

Since this is the finale, it wraps up all the plot threads nicely and gives a sweet epilogue that focuses on Zander and Maddock. I would have liked an epilogue for each couple but I can imagine that they were all blissfully happy.

I'm glad I read this series. The idea of an illness for shifters was cool and well done. I love the fated mates trope too.

Wow, what a great conclusion to the series! Seeing the way all the loose ends were wrapped up was wonderful. The ties between all the main characters are strong and dynamic, with support going to the one who needs it most at the time.
Luca and Diesel are my favorite couple. Luca is the quintessential geek, losing himself in his work for hours. Diesel seems to be the complete opposite but really prefers quiet evenings at home, just like Luca.
Great end to a great series!

Follow the plan! If everyone does their part, no problems, right? Series is best read in order, totally worth it! With confirmation that the West Territory is plotting against the East, tension are higher and folk are more diligent. Luca is spending more time with Marrock and Xander cementing their friendship being Xander's donor. He is working on their digital database and connection to find crucial data and make it available to all. Diesel is Xander's enforcer and tasked with keeping Luca safe so he can do his job. Luca, lived and worked on his terms. He liked his life and occasionally was lonely, missing a mate while convincing himself, Murray, his dog was sufficient company. Diesel is a workaholic and earned the notice of everyone trying to get him to take some 'time' off for some self-care. What happens when they find out they're mates? Can they modify their lifestyles? This is a good ending to the series. There is a problem that precipitates a crisis. Good characters, great friends. Nice quick ending. Nicely done. We are at the end of the Four Packs trilogy, and I must say the authors did not disappoint. Let’s start with the main characters. Luca is a character we meet in the first novel. He’s a quiet, introverted IT guru, and also the donor for the alpha Zander, who relies on Luca to stay alive and fight the slow death.

Then there is Diesel Jones. He’s an enforcer and his job is to guard not only the alpha but the whole pack, as his father once did. Being new to paranormal romance, I enjoyed meeting an enforcer because this allowed me to get a glimpse of what’s wired into enforcers. And boy, Diesel does his job well. This guy protects with a capital P. Sometimes he’s too protective LOL, but it’s something he can’t change. I really liked this concept since it added to the world-building that the authors have done a great job of from the start of the series.

The final instalment in this series

I am so invested in this series now. I hope there will be a spin-off series, as I have enjoyed this immensely.
First, you would not believe that two authors wrote this book. Not once did I think there wasn't a seamless transition between each part.

Second, great world, character and story building. It is a unique story line and has kept me gripped all the way through. Again, not going to give anything away, but trust me, it's well worth a read.

So if you like shifters, MM and a good storyline, you will love this series.

Good narration, but I had to speed up the narration to 1.35 on audible.

Luca, introverted, content with his own company. Working on The Slow Death database is his way of positively helping his pack. His importance to the wellbeing of the East Alpha is so important to everyone. Enough so that he gets his own enforcer. Diesel is aware of how special Luca is, he just wasn’t aware Luca is his mate. But he knew “he’d defend Luca against any foe. And heaven help anyone who tries to take Luca from me.”

Luca and Diesel were both strong, reliable wolves who belonged together. The pack working toward finding answers to the Slow Death was a nice use of all the characters.

This was a very nice wrap up of the series. Some action and lots of mate time made this entry an enjoyable journey.

This is a great ending to the Four Packs series and I really enjoyed it. I love how well it wraps everything up and I was so happy that Luca got his HEA. Luca and Diesel have a few challenges to overcome but they also are perfect together. Neither of them are looking for their fated mate and it does take them a while to admit what they are to each other. There is a lot going on as the pack continues to do whatever they can to find a cure for The Slow Death as it is a devastating illness and the East Territory Pack is still dealing with outside threats as well. I like seeing how well the couples from the previous books are doing and the ending is perfect. I look forward to seeing what these authors have in store for us next.

I have really enjoyed this series. Each book centers around its own couple (and gives them a HFN/HEA ending), but they are all connected by the underlying 'plague', The Slow Death (TSD). The only remedy is transfers from a matching blood donor, and those are hard to come by. This book is the last in the series, and it does a great job of tying the books together and providing 'The Final Salvation to the plague. The book has plenty of danger, drama, plotting, suspense, and action. There is also the sweet romance of donor Luca and his bodyguard Diesel, who turn out to be mates. I loved how this book tied everything up, and I loved seeing the other couples as well.

The Final Salvation is Book 3 in the Four Packs Trilogy series and needs to be read in order as it's a continuous story. This book is action packed as tension heats up within the pack of a possible threat to Alpha Zander and his donor Luca. While Luca isn't thrilled to have an Enforcer staying with him, he soon discovers he doesn't mind having Diesel there to protect him. Diesel comes from a family of Enforcers and takes his job of protecting Luca very seriously. Though when Diesel discovers Luca is his fated mate can he keep his job and growing feelings for Luca separate? This is a wonderful conclusion to the series. This is a fascinating world filled with fascinating characters and I've really enjoyed this series. It's a series I will enjoy reading again and again. Definitely recommend.

I thought that this was a great book and a great conclusion to this wonderful trilogy. Luca and Diesel were wonderful together and I enjoyed the connection and chemistry between these two. While Diesel is there to protect Luca neither one had a clue that they were going to met there fated mate. These two seem like opposites but they are perfect for each other. I really enjoyed this book and this trilogy and I can't wait to see what these two awesome authors come up with next.

I loved this book! A great finale for a wonderful trilogy! Great world building. Fighting against The Slow Death has been a suspenseful battle throughout these books to save the packs that are affected by it. I loved Luca and Diesel as a couple. Though their personalities differed, they were well matched and had great chemistry. I enjoyed the dynamic and tension between the packs. A very satisfying conclusion to the series. I'm a little sad it's over. I hope these two authors write another series together soon. 5 stars.

This third and last book rounded this trilogy up with an unexpected end to all the territorial politics between the East and the West. Well done, I also liked the glimpse into the future to get an insight how all developed further after the foremwntioned end.
The romance between Luca and Diesel ignited almost against their will but fated mates happen when they happen.

This conclusion to the trilogy was a read I could not put down and wanted to finish asap. I enjoyed the characters and the world building very much.

The final instalment in this amazing trilogy brings the overall story to a closure, where intensions are revealed and loose threads are fixed.
The main focus of the book is on Luca (Alpha Xander’s blood donor) and his enforcer protector Diesel. I loved growly, protective Diesel, and Luca is just the sweetest, even-tempered man, although he very clearly knows what he wants and he is a lot stronger than most give him credit for.
The series was a great one, very well co-written by BL Maxwell and Nic Starr, whom I hope will be cooperating more in the future!

Nice and short series

This is a short shifter series with a slight twist that is the Slow Death. I have to say this is the least favorite out of the three books, I just couldn’t connect with the Luca and Diesel. Their characters are not unlikable, they are just bland and uninteresting. Their story is also unremarkable. I skimmed a chunk of it until the story picks up again with the West. Yes the West Alpha is vile but he’s more interesting. My favorite is book two with Grady and Max. Overall a nice read if you are looking for something short and complete.

The slow death (TSD) has caused havoc in all four shifter territories. The only relief was finding a blood donor that matched yours, and constant transfusions. The east and north territories have been trying to find a cure and assembling a database to match donor and recipient. Well that is happening the western territory is plotting to take over all territories starting with the eastern one first. This story has plenty of drama, suspense an

This was filled with action, danger, drama and suspense.
Lucas and Diesel were polar opposites but actually perfect for each other.
As Luca works tirelessly to find a solution to the terrible affliction ravaging the shifters, a nefarious plot is uncovered resulting in the necessity of Diesel as a bodyguard for Luca.
I really enjoyed how they were both blindsided by the fated mates a aspect of their relationship and seeing them working together towards a HEA.

I loved this book. Luca Bassani is a IT guru and also the blood donor for the pack alpha Zander Kingston . The threat the West Territory poses to the East Territory is great. Diesel Jones is a enforcer and is assigned to protect Luca. Luca and Diesel fight the attraction they have for each other. They are fated mates. When Luca is taken will Diesel and the East Territory be able to get him back before its to late?

Diesel is one of the enforcers in his pack and doesn't have time for love and a relationship. Luca is shy and hides behind his work. Diesel is told he has to protect Luca and when they meet they know that their mates. There is someone who wants to harm Luca and Diesel will do anything to keep him safe. I really enjoyed this book.
