Born on October 10, 1979, Kim Keum Hee is a South Korean writer who entered the literary scene in 2009 by winning the Korea Times New Writer's Contest with her short story "Neoui dokyumeonteu" (너의 도큐먼트 Your Document). Her first collection of short stories, titled "Sentimenteoldo haruiteul" (센티멘털도 하루이틀 Sentimentality Works Only for a Day or Two), was published in 2014.

글을 쓰는 사람이 감정을 옮기는 것이 아니다. 독자가 그 감정을 읽어내야 한다. 이 생각을 명확하게 보여준 작품이었다. 소설에 대한 조예가 깊지 않았을 때 읽었지만, 너무도 깊은 감정을 느끼게 해준 책이었다.
