**'Some writers know that their storytelling are sometimes emotionally based and not logical..'

I loved the first part of this series and after the way it ended I was so curious how the lines will be kept crossed. ☺️
And once again Barbara Winkes didn’t disappoint and delivered a fantastic story. It was almost a wonder Kendall and Robyn survived in the last book. Both were even able to get away almost without any consequences. Well ok really only almost because the FBI still is on the track of Kendall and wants to see proof that she isn’t hiding anything anymore. And who is better to investigate about that than Robyn.
Robyn really tries hard to keep her distance but Kendall being as charming as ever doesn’t make it easier. As unclear a common future is for them, what both know is that they wanna end any criminal act in Kendall’s business.
It‘s once more a story that will keep you on your toes and keep on reading. One thing I already loved in the first book is Kendall almost always being ahead of anyone else. At least aside from being wrong about Jimmy in the first book, she usually knows whom she can trust and whom not. That someone from the FBI would be the one she could trust the most probably isn’t something she would ever have thought a few months ago. ☺️
I also loved how Kendall and Robyn worked together and their chemistry that was sometimes hard to hide.
The longer the book went on, the more things happened I didn’t see coming. I am always happy when this happens because it always leaves me sitting there like this... 😲 Most of all I didn’t expect what happened at the end of this part, which of course leaves me impatiently waiting for the final book of this series.
If you haven’t read the first part Undercover, go for it. I promise you that you’re in for a great ride. And if you already have read the first book, I promise you that you will love this part as well.

Not as good as the first book, maybe because the first was such a pleasant surprise.
I think the push and pull in this book is just slightly too much, gets a bit repetitive. It’s still highly enjoyable and and entertaining.

Exciting!
Kendall and Robyn are just trying to get on with their lives but having fallen for one another complicates matters. Her family label Kendall a traitor and so she is reliant on Robyn to help her and watching over her shoulder known danger is still there, where as Robyn has to make sacrifices and face the consequences of her actions.
It was great to be back with Kendall and Robyn after the first book in the Crossing Lines series, Undercover, brought them together. This was so exciting because it had the potential to go any which way and because of the clever way Barbara constructs her mystery thrillers, you just have no idea what lies in store. I love that anything is possible and always expect the unexpected, especially with Kendall and Robyn. There is a lot of uncertainty because of who they are. Kendall’s family were a threat to them both, but in ways, Kendall had to put a lot of trust in Robyn that again had the potential to be a mistake. She had no idea what Robyn might do, especially given all that had transpired between them in Undercover, but I adored that she did just trust her.
For Robyn, the danger was as real as it was for Kendall, the threat of her family could have really messed things up for them. They had a great connection, strong and powerful, and in the end all it came down to was trust. I really was on the edge of my seat, gripped by the pace and the action, which has really set things up for the next book in the series well.
Now very excited for what lies in store for Kendall and Robyn, and to discover what they’ll do, how they’ll react, and how their characters will continue to grow. If you haven’t read Undercover, you really must before moving onto Redemption, but it’s a great addition to this thrilling, angsty and gritty crime series.

Book 2 is just as good as Undercover (Book1).Kendall is doing everything she can to put her family on the straight and narrow with Robyn's help. They both keep secrets from one another. But at night when they're together, they show each other love. You'll find this to be a thrilling story and I can't wait to read Book 3 Vengance! 5 stars!

I liked book 2 more than book one, the main reason being Robyn is really trying to put distance with Kendall which seems more realistic to me. It made me question if i didn’t understand her well in book 1. Did she really got so wrapped up in her undercover mission and her attraction that she put aside her lines she isn’t supposed to cross and just went for it ?
Kendall is still irresistible, charming and mysterious. You wonder how far she can go for someone she loves. Are her hands really clean ? I guess (hope) we will have the answer in book 3. The second book keeps diving in the Mancini’s family secrets and it seemed like it’s an never ending pit which is really exciting.
Short chapters gives the book a really good pace making you keep you reading. The book gives as much answers as it raises new questions. Like book 1, violence level is totally bearable

Sometimes, a second book in a series can be a let down, it isn’t as good as the first. Barbara has done an excellent job continuing Kendall & Robyn’s story. The crime doesn’t stop just because you are trying to run a clean family business & the rats that Kendall finds aren’t unexpected. Robyn has to make a tough decision that affects their growing relationship, will it be the end of their love story or the beginning of forever?
I think this author has the art of writing a mystery/thriller down pat. Enjoy this one, hopefully we will get a look into Robyn & Kendall’s growing love story in a third book. 🤞

I don't know what's the point in these books,but I certainly hope it's not seeing Robyn fucking Kendall up,it's exhausting that's all she keeps doing in these books ,does this woman not know how to growel ???and Kendall babe stand up ,I love you but it's embarrassing.

Kendall life is falling apart, everything her grandparents, parents and now herself work so hard to build is collapsing and there is like 99.999% chance that she may end up in prison but what's most important to her is getting laid as many times as she could squeeze out of Agent Robyn a woman who is supposedly trying to Lock her up
Robyn have an important missions infiltrate organize crime family bring them to Justice and so far she's doing and incredibly good job but it, but there's a problem with her plan she fall in love with the criminal and she's having a hard time saying no to a good time when the incredible Kendall, who is Also planning for them to run away if she can't avoid prison and Robyn is thinking about throwing it all away to run away from the crime she did not commit and was supposed to solve
This isn't as good as the first book and it's flawed but I love the characters enough to overlook everything else for their happy-ever-after...this is four stars and I would recommend it to anyone

This is the second book in Crossing Lines book series, in order to truly appreciate the story, you need to read the first book " Undercover". I absolutely love this series, and this book 2 is just as good as the first one, it has all the thrill and mystery of a crime novel and the tender and deep love of the beautiful, smart and strong mains. It is addictive and highly satisfying . Now I can't wait for the last book in this series and I am sure that it will end with the sweet happily ever after

This series keeps getting better!
Barbara Winkes has mastered this series! I am so intrigued that I am jumping straight into the third in the series. The writing is superb, very intense with so many twists I need a chiropractor to help me get out of my reading chair. Honestly the characters are so colorful and distinct leading you from one outrageous thought to the next. Oh yeah, this series is worth the time!

Another Hit,
Barbara Winkes keeps writing them, and I keep anticipating the next, and the next… The Crossing Lines series is terrific - I love following the relationship between Robyn and Kendall, and getting involved to the point that I’m worrying about them and hoping for the best. The best for me? Why, the next book in the series, of course!

So 2nd book and things begin to get clearer but there is so much mess from the dysfunctional family that one wonders how they have hung togetrher thus far........the MCs are still massively attracted to each other but also still hiding things from each other and things are turning deadlier but through it all the MCs get closer and eventually utter the key 3 words which turns both their worlds into an even harder time..but love wins through!

Enjoyable continuation of the tale of Robyn and Kendall, following on directly from the first book. There is still a mess to clean up, corruption never far away, and their feelings for each other certainly aren't going away. Even if there is still secrets between the two of them. It is fast paced and an easy read, very much of a similar flavour as the first book.

Exciting
Lots of twists and turns. I liked the back and forth between the main characters. I didn’t figure it out till the end so it surprised me a bit. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't put it down I was up very late trying to finish the book It's right up my alley love the mysterious crime and the romance excellent can't wait to read the next book.

Book #2 in this series did not disappoint! I love how both sides of the story intertwine and continue with suspense. Winke's always seems one step ahead of the reader and what you think will happen!

Secrets, betrayals & conspiracies
This story is a nice follow up book for this series. It reveals many answers while producing even more questions & uncertainty than I started the book to begin with. Just not sure where this series is really gonna go.

Yet another great book by Ms. Winkes. I can't wait for the third book in the series to come out! As with Undercover, this is another book I simply couldn't put down. I felt compelled to read it because I wanted to know what would happen next! I highly recommend not only this book, but the series as well. Do yourself a favor and read this series. You won't be disappointed!
