Raye was just a normal 19-year-old girl, living a typical life at home with her stay-at-home mom, working dad, and younger brother. Nothing crazy there, right? Wrong!
One moment they're having a party and the next she's being thrust into a world she never knew existed.
Two and a half years later, she's still struggling to figure out what happened, but now she's alone and being hunted by a creature that claims she's his.
Raye learns of a prophecy that could keep the world from completely falling apart, but of course, it comes with sacrifices and choices she needs to make. And she has to figure everything out while balancing not one, not two, but four mates.
Yeah, things might get a little hot along the way.
Author's Notes: This is a paranormal why-choose romance. The FMC will have more than one love interest and doesn't choose between them. This series will also lead to some same sex relationships not necessarily in book one.
Content Warnings: This book has mentions and instances of kidnapping (adults), talk of SA, violence, blood, murder, and explicit sexual scenes. It is intended for adult audiences. If these are themes that may affect you negatively, please proceed with caution or do not read!
I truly love anything Phoenix related in a story, and this storyline does not disappoint! Raye (FMC) is beyond strong for a 19 yr. old that has seen her world crumble, with the death of her family at the hand of violent creatures. Supernatural's are real and that is just the start of the crazy she comes to discover about the world and herself. This book has some suspense, spice, and very intriguing characters. I enjoyed it and can not wait for more from this series! TW/18+ 4.5/stars
This was a fun premise. There's a lot of great tropes in here with Raye, a rare phoenix, finding out how to unlock her true identity and potential. She's tied to four mates and Kaiden, human almost fiance, and Malik, the vampire, were hot. I enjoyed the levels of worldbuilding that tied them all together. Plum is adorable and I think she is more than she seems for sure. This is very spicy, even when she says she wants to wait lol, one date seemed to be enough to drop that worry. It sounds like there is quite a treat coming up next in the series.
🤩 wow . I just love “Raye” . I love the details in describing what’s going on , and where they are. In doing this it makes me feel like I’m there . I love me a good reverse harem and or poly relationship story . I can not wait for book 2 . I’ve been sent an arc and super excited and not at all patient enough to hold off reading it . If you love strong female characters, paranormal characters , powers , sex 👀. More then one partner then this series is for you . And only the beginning.
What a trip! I didn't realize reading Fall Into Ashes was going to take me on such an incredible ride learning about Raye. For a paranormal romance this was a treat that I enjoyed immensely. We're able to learn more about the prophecy and what it entails. Raye is a very strong FMC that you want to root for. The ending isn't really a cliffhanger, but I'm glad there's a book 2 to devour.
