Isabel Reid is a high school principal on a tight budget. Kaden King is a contractor trying to get the job of doing the cafeteria and kitchen. They hit it off when he comes up with a plan to do it under budget. Great read!😊😊

Isabel is a high school principal trying to get the cafeteria remodeled and within the budget she has been given. Kaden has taken over his father's business after he passed and doesn't think he can go lower on his bid with Isabel. However, once he sits down to think about it Kaden finds a way to give her a better bid. They spend some time together researching what he is offering to do and sparks start to fly between them. Once they settle down and talk its not long before they admit their feelings. Will they get everything they didn't know they wanted?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is Book two of the Mister series and follows on with Isabel Reid, Principal of Leigh High School - a high school in a poor area with a very limited budget and aging school infrastructure.
She and Kaden King, the new owner of Kings Tile and Roofing are haggling out a contract to renovate the school cafeteria on a shoestring budget. After a bad first meeting, they agree to meet up to discuss options and the more time they spend together, the more attracted they are to one another.
Both have faced or are dealing with grief and their shared understanding of each other will hopefully lead to a deeper relationship.
Kaden is stubborn and scared of pity, he has an ice case around his heart but slowly, the feisty, strong willed and opinionated Isabel gets to him and he finds himself falling deeply for her.
This quick read was a good one, well written and the story was well developed and complete in such a short book.

I enjoyed this short romance story with all of the characters. The two main characters were Isabel and Kagen.
Isabel works at a high school as a principal. The school is in need of work to remodel their cafeteria. She has found two places that might be able to do the job. Now she must decided with one will give her the best deal for the schools. She only has so much that she can spend on this project.
Kaden father has pasted away and has gave him his construction business to run. He has a contract for the high school that he trying to see if they can afford the materials. He hoping that they can make the deal with the contract because his father's business need it.
This was a fun story to read. It had action and drama within. It had a few giggles throughout. There was a few sad parts to.

Simple portion of life
The story is in the context of everyday life, without a millionaire, without excess, but with two people who care about what they do and who do everything to give the best of themselves, to others or for others, often because of their complicated past, but also with clashes because they don't know each other well enough yet. The story of Kaden and Isabel, who want to save the high school in which Isabel is the principal, and the business of Kaden's father, is tender, sometimes hot, and remains simple and cute despite sometimes a little heavy subjects

"LIVE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT"
This lovely story has two strong and stubborn characters that have to decide if they should really ask for what they want.
Isabel is being a hard negotiater to get work done at her school. Kaden needs this job to save his dad's company. With the weight of the world on his shoulders he works up ways to save money without cutting corners. The more time they spend together the stronger the romance between them builds. They learn that they have more in common than they imagine. Can they "live it like they mean it" or is it all just a job that needs to get done?.

How old was the MMC?!? There’s not even a guess on the FMC’s part. He thinks the FMC is ‘young’ and would have been ‘shocked’ if she was older than 32. Which makes you think he is in a similar ballpark if not older. BUT his (biological) mother is in her forties and he doesn’t seem to have had a set job before taking over his father’s business in the last year. Which makes you think he’s young.
I’m fine with authors not stating ages but giving us a math word problem that can’t be solved is frustrating. It’s little things like that that niggle in the back of your mind and, for me, kinda ruin it.

Isabel is a high school principal. Kaden has continued his father's contractor business after his dad’s death. Getting the contract to renovate the school where Isabel works would really help his bottom line.
Both of them are take-charge personalities who are used to being the ones in charge of everything. Will they fall into the “opposites attract” category and find romance together? Or will they let insecurities keep them from trying to move forward with each other?

Trying to keep up the legacy of his father! This is about Kaden and Principal Isabel. These two were great – she is the principal of a high school that desperately needs repairs and he is the contractor that needs this contract to keep his father’s company floating. The tension between the two is great and when she realizes what he has been through – she feels bad due to a comment made about his father. The story is short and sweet and very lovable!.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Isobel and Kaden both need each other more than they knew. The work required at the school might bring them together but they developed a close connection. Their goals align well together. I liked that Isobel was there for her kids. Kaden was a great guy trying to do right by his late father's business. Both characters were likeable and had good chemistry.

This novel had me stuck in my seat reading until the end. I absolutely adored all the characters in the story including the heroine Isabel and hero Kaden. This was the book I did not know I needed, the trope of the sexy curvy school principal with the grumpy proud construction company owner was absolutely sexy. I loved how the story did not go straight into spice but other showed the mutual attraction which ultimately led to the mind-blowing chemistry which they shared being put into action.

Totally Enjoyable.
There is some very tongue in check humour to be had in this enjoyable tale. The very grumpy touchy hero has to learn that sympathy isn’t the same thing as pity. The sunshiny heroine thinks that his gruffness and grumpy attitude means he doesn’t care about anything. With a lot of help from their supporting characters they finally begin to see each other’s true selves and stumble to their happy ever after. A great escape from life’s realities and very enjoyable read.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Kaden and Isabel and does not let go. Kaden feels like the weight of the world is on his shoulders and pulls further into himself. His first meeting with Isabel does not go well but when she reaches out to him to apologize, they feel a connection. Will Isabel be able to bring Kaden out of his darkness?

I received this book as an ARC. I really liked this book. It was a quick story. It followed a passionate school principal and a grumpy but just as passionate tradie as they navigate a contract for the schools’ cafeteria. It is a sweet story with a HEA of course. I look forward to reading the next book.

Hallmark movie cute
This short story is on par with a Hallmark movie. Grumpy business owner falls for curvy principal over a contract involving the cafeteria remodel at her school. Falling in love changes his mood and gives her life outside the school. The story needs some proofreading changes but it is readable and flows well. The romance is closed door so no steam.

Kaden and Isabel🩷 This was such a cute story and i felt so happy while reading it, its my second curvy girl romance book and thats becoming my comfort and favorite trope, thanks for the author for this cute story and Kaden is such a cute men even he meant to be grumpy, i loved all of him and his personality, he is strong, gentle, cute, beautiful and i felt really connected to him.🩷

Pleasantly surprised for a short read
I was invested in the story by the first chapter and author did a great job building the couple's relationship. It wasn't over the top and writing flowed so easily that I'm getting ready to read her other book Mr. Wrong.

The only thing missing were the hot spices. I kept expecting the story to get there at any moment, but it just never quite happens. Other than that, it's a quick little romance with some good character development and a smooth writing style.

This book was sooo on point...what I loved about the book is that he thinks what we all think..because we can't mourn because we have to be strong because we are always the strong one.
Kaden felt not only responsible for his father's death but his mother's grief and pain...Just as Isabel felt responsible for her sister's death and care. When pain is shared you realize how many people feel as you do and try to cover the pain the same way.
Isabel and Kaden are perfect for each other cause they are each other guiding light...once Isabel shared her struggle and his mother Coring - gave him permission to feel- everything made sense to him...what I found funny the most is the advice that Corin gave to Isabel and Isabel couldn't put two and two together that Corin was Kaden's mother due...But I love the advice...Sometimes you have grab life by the balls :) :) :)
