This was such a great read by a new-to-me author! While they meet at a speed dating event, I really enjoyed the dynamic and chemistry between Osiris and Tanya. With lots of danger surrounding them and the mystery of why Nebo was after her, I found myself madly flipping pages. Well, let me tell you Nebo's intentions were very nefarious. Expect a fair bit of violence, and a surprise, as Tanya and Osiris go on their journey to keep her safe - and burn up the sheets ;P It really was an entertaining read and I'm looking forward to more from this author :D

Tanya's life changed after a fight with her boyfriend who promptly left her at the mercy of creatures that tried to kill her. That's when she met Morgan, a hunter of these dark creatures and they are now besties. Morgan works for Osiris and they are hunting one of the gods, Nectanebo (Nebo), who has escaped from his prison. They didn't know what the link is between Tanya and Nebo but they are trying to protect her from him. On her birthday Morgan takes her to DeLux cafe for a speed dating night. Here she meets Osiris who informs her that one of his enemies is after her and he needs to keep her alive. So begins the game of cat and mouse between Nebo trying to capture her and Osiris trying to keep her safe. During this Osiris and Tanya start to fall for each other. It soon becomes clear what Nebo wants her for and it will mean Tanya's life will be at stake. When she is kidnapped the rush is on to find her in time. A good story, interesting characters, with twists and turns, adventure and our heroine's life been endangered all keeps you engaged. A bit of romance and an HEA. What more is there to get from a good book!

Loved this story about Tanya Frisco a bar server and Osiris the Egyptian god of the Afterlife. Tanya met Morgan seven months ago when Morgan saved her from attacking creatures. Morgan who works for Osiris has been looking for their leader, Nebo who has targeted Tanya. On Tanya's 30th birthday her friend Morgan took her to DeLux Café speed dating event where she meets Osiris. What occurs is a wonderful, intriguing story I loved reading. Why does Nebo want Tanya? The characters were likable, and their chemistry sizzled which kept me engaged in this story that I received and that I volunteer to review.

Tanya is a human being hunted by shadow jackals. She meets shifter Morgan who keeps her safe and becomes her best friend. Morgan takes Tanya to speed dating at the DeLux Cafe and introduces her to her boss, Osiris, God of the Egyptian underwood. Osiris wants to keep Tanya safe, find out why she is being hunted and destroy the threat. He didn’t count on her being so stubborn and independent or on fall inning in love with her! Wonderful, engaging story with twists and turns, danger and intrigue, amazing chemistry and a beautiful HEA.

Tanya works at a bar as a waitress. Tanya meets Morgan after who is a hunter after being attacked. The two become friends and he is now Tanya’s protector. Morgan talks Tanya into going to Speed Dating at DeLux Café to set up her with his boss Osiris who is a God of the underworld. Osiris is not to fund of humans but he there to protect and keep Tanya safe. Nebo has targeted Tanya.
This is an enjoyable entertaining read that is definitely a page turner, action packed, mysterious, trust issues with an awesome plot.

I really enjoyed this story, like all the rest in this series. It was about Osiris and him trying to protect a human, or so they thought, from an enemy. The story was exciting and easy to follow along with and I really liked the characters. I didn't like the fact that these characters came from a different underworld (the Egyptian underworld) than the other stories in this series so we don't get to see any chracters from the previous books. Really good story though.

Tinhe book was a great read. I would liked a longer storyline, and more adventures.

A friend, Morgan, does what she can to protect Tanya. When Osiris meets Tanya, he is both determined to protect her and is completely hooked by her. Tanya is attracted to Osiris but holds herself back. The reason Tanya is hunted is surprising but Osiris and Morgan save her. Tanya accepts Osiris. I really liked Osiris' gift to her and how she handles it.

Another fantastic addition to the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld and this is book 13 and I hope that there’s plenty more to come and this is Tanya’s and Osiris’s story, there’s plenty of action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists and turns, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Sorry guys no spoilers it’s just way too good to spoil and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

What a cute story. I enjoyed Tanya and Osiris, they were an interesting couple. The mystery around Tanya draws you into the book. Osiris was very protective of Tanya, I liked how his protectiveness shaped their developing relationship. I did not expect the outcome. It is definitely worth reading to meet this couple and see how they find happiness. I highly recommend this book, it is another great addition to the series. Wow! our poor heroine, Tanya, has no idea the secret she holds until strange things begin to happen... her savior and new bestie, Morgan, shows up and helps her out. A crazy birthday night and the crazy hits the fan! Things move fast and it's a sweet romance that helps them get through the drama. Awesome ending! Looking forward to the next episode!.

Osiris is the Egyptian God of the underworld. He tried to protect Tonya from an evil Pharaoh who was after her. Tonya is a human woman that is struggling to make ends meet. Her ex was abusive so she had trust issues. She went to a speed dating event with her friend and met Osiris. As the Pharaoh tries to use Tonya in his own evil way, it's Osiris that comes to save her.
This book has drama, danger and steamy scenes with a protective ancient god and a human woman.

Wow did this book just suck me into its covers! Tanya is just an ordinary, independent human girl working in a bar but being hunted by shadows. Osiris is an Egyptian god brought in by a mutual friend to help protect Tanya. This book is full of suspense, action, magic, speed dating, humour and all over enjoyable.

Humor, magic, suspense, excitement, and danger.... this is only a bit of what happens in Osiris and Tanya's story. It's a fun read that kept me entertained and engaged. While I would have loved a bit more length to the story, Osiris and Tanya are likable characters with great chemistry. It's a great read.

Great book! Tanya a human who thinks she just a run of the mill one at that. Had a crummy relationship with a guy named chad who like all creeps always runs from danger. There’s always been weird dreams for Tanya , but thought none of it until she’s thrust into speed dating and sees the demon side of the world and meets yummy Osiris. The story was great! Everyone needs to get their hands on this book.

Tanya's a very independent woman who is just trying to live life after an ordeal. Osiris is hunting an escaped pharaoh and learns who his target is. Hes brash and demanding and she is stubborn and wont let anyone take away her independence. This book wasn't bad I was just hoping for more suspense between the characters.

a perfect Halloween read…

This story is a little darker than the earlier books in parts, what happened in the basement was definitely scary & bad dream inducing, but overall a really well written story of unexpected love. All the unexpected twists & turns keeps you glued to the edge of your seat. Highly recommend reading.

This is book thirteen of the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld and the main characters are Osiris, whose role is to see to all the souls passing through his part of the Underworld realm, as well as being the god of fertility, and Tanya Frisco, a woman who is trying to make ends meet working in a bar and who needs her tips to make her rent this month. One of his employees is Morgan, a former hunter, who helps keep humans safe, especially since she and Osiris know one of the old Egyptian Pharaohs, Nebo, broke his shackles and managed to make it back into the human realm some seven months ago. Morgan is one of his best hunters, but even she is finding it difficult to find him, having only found some of his shadow jackals and jackals, which Nebo can control at will. Tanya was rescued by Morgan some seven months ago as well, one night in an alleyway, when she was with her then boyfriend and having a fight, when shadows attacked her. Her boyfriend ran off and luckily Morgan was there and saved her. They have struck up a friendship ever since and Morgan looks out for her at the end of her shifts at the bar and often takes her home. When Morgan sees jackals at Tanya’s place of work and then at her home, she realises Tanya is being targeted by Nebo, but has no clue as to why!
Osiris thinks it will be simple to just get Tanya to come and work for him, doing a lot of the admin paperwork that seems to pile up. But she is an independent woman and wants to make her own way in the world now. She only knows a little bit of what Morgan does, but hasn’t really been introduced to the supernatural world at all, apart from the shadows that attacked her, which she tries to convince herself weren’t real. Morgan manages to drag Tanya out for the night to celebrate her birthday, taking her to the DeLux Café for a speed dating event, but it is for supernaturals and she will be getting introduced to a whole new world she never knew existed! Osiris turns up as well to get a look at the human woman Morgan is protecting, as well as being friends with, only to find her to be so much more than he thought. Tanya ignores the dangers all around her and is lucky that her boss Scottie is not quite what he seems and is able to protect her and give her a chance to call Morgan and Osiris. She stubbornly refuses any assistance from Osiris, wanting to keep working her usual job, one she loves most of the time. Unfortunately for her, her past comes calling and it is all linked to Nebo and something he wants from her. Morgan and Osiris will need to find her and save her from the evil she is facing, if Osiris is going to have any chance of a life with the human woman he just couldn’t stop himself from falling in love with! Lots of twists and turns as the storyline progresses and romance starts to have its chance, only for evil to split the two apart. Morgan and Osiris are running out of time to find her alive, as the evil intent of Nebo is made clear, bringing an exciting end to the story. This is Book 13 of Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld love story for Tanya and Osiris. This is one that will hold you in the mystery as to Tanya and the bad guy hunting her. I hated how Tanya's ex hurt her and now she is scared but Osiris is the one to help Tanya find happiness again. I loved how this book ends. I am so needing of the next book. I loved this series.

Blood Lines

Reading this series "Speed dating the denizens of the underworld" has been by far interesting in the terms of how people in the underworld date or should I say look for love like humans.

The book of Osiris's was not quite one of my favorites his eyes felt I wanted to know a little more the main characters. Don't get me wrong this is just my nature the book is in no way and complete you do get a full story but I always want a little more.

While this is not the best in the series, it remains a good, totally fun read. Tanya is struggling to maintain her independance after a bad break up and needs to stand on her own two feet. Osiris is trying to protect her, with little co-operation from Tanya. They both lack a little depth in character development, but make for a fun story. Morgan completely steals their thunder - I cannot wait for her story.
