Rate this book
The leader of a southern rock group called the Smokey Hollow Band goes into a deep depression after his marriage disintegrates. His songwriting and his life come to a complete halt. With his career on a downhill slide, Don Livingston moves to the other side of the country to pull himself together and to get a fresh start.
At the local market, Don meets Skylar and his first impression tells him she's a cop. He writes her off thinking a relationship with a cop is the last thing he wants or needs.
Follow Don and Skylar as they make their way towards each other.

Would of been a higher rating if author would of finished it as a book. It felt like a book but last chapter went "insta-love" and done.
No epilogue.
Put just a little more effort and it's a well done book. I liked the characters and the setting and her no nonsense DEA job.

Short but very sweet

Loved this one. It’s very different to her other books I’ve read. Only disappointed it was so short! I really shouldn’t do novellas. Hope we learn more about Don and Skylar in subsequent books.

Another great series to read

This is a completely different type of story than what I thought it would be but it is every bit as good to read. I'm looking forward to starting the next book.

Interesting

What a good read. Fast paced and smooth moving. Very likeable characters, I felt like I had actually knew them. New format for me. I enjoyed reading
