Kennedy Ryan included a link to this ebook in the Hoops Series Limited Edition Box Set that I was reading on Kindle Unlimited and I downloaded this ebook from Book Funnel. I read this book after reading the Hoops series. I really enjoyed reading what happened with Iris and August and Banner and Jared. It’s not necessary to read these short stories unless you want to know what these 2 couples are up to during Christmas.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. August and Iris are star crises lovers with a new blessing in their lives. They attend a Christmas party with a secret only one person will find out, Lotus. Lotus doesn’t need Spells to make a man want her, yet she has Kenan in a trance. They don’t say more than three words to each but they can’t stop thinking about the other person. Across the world, Banner and Jared attend a New Year’s Eve party to lighten their moods. It turns out, their word for the new year is joy after the news they received.

cute, hot, lovely - exactly what you want in a bonus. there were some fondly amusing moments in here too, so i had fun! i’m counting this towards my reading challenge even if it’s only like 50 pages, idc! i really enjoyed the little glimpse into iris/august and banner/jared beyond their books (and the little tease of lotus/kenan - which has me absolutely frothing for hook shot next!).

jared still has me turned out, i see 🤪 and his singlemindedness for his woman still had me giggling!

side note, but sarai is so adorable and endearing. i hope there’s more of her in the last book.
