It was ok. More of an action book than a paranormal or a romance book. The writing was fine, but nothing that really kept me interested in reading the rest of the series.

Be sure to read the prelude STOLEN first, as it gives you better background for this story.
Interesting how this all plays out and I enjoyed some old special favourite friends popping in at the end and I hope we get more interaction in the future with them popping in to do their thing.
I wasn’t quite sure that Gunn was going to choose wisely at one point and I felt he needed to apologise better to Michelangela for the year of pain and emotional stress he caused.
Overall this was a well written and engaging story, moving us nicely onto the next generation once again.
I have read all the other series by Ms Wilde and I loved having similar shades and attitudes of her previous series utilised here.
It works well and was fun, which is a good thing, as she can write some classically over the top, unbalanced and extremely entertaining characters, with a certain brand of crazy that is exquisite and entertaining.
Totally great having some old names and past faces starring here.
There are also some extremely difficult characters which are hard to like.
I wonder what is behind the misogynistic attitude in this place?
Some of these out-of-control men would benefit from having a mate, or even a woman in their lives. I am sure that will be happening.
But we are left with the feeling that some of these people are not to be trusted. Or are they?
Only time will tell.

Hunted begins the Outlaw Wolves series with an intense, gripping story that really began in the prequel, Stolen, which I strongly suggest you read before diving into Hunted. It sets up the series as well as Gunn and Mikey’s relationship prior to the events here. If you’ve read Anastasia Wilde’s other series, then you may recognize some familiar folks (or an incentive to hit up her backlist for some great series).
Mikey is out for blood. Specifically Gunn’s blood. It’s not acceptable for a man to take a few days off to help out a friend, and then send a note stating that he’s not coming back; get over him and move on. Nope. Not when that jerk is her mate, and won’t even face her to explain himself. So. It’s simple. He won’t come back to her, then she’s going to find him. Maybe she’ll regret it, but she’s too angry, hurt, and vengeful right now to even consider that. She’s an Enforcer, trained by the best, and she’ll find her man. But… she’s not exactly prepared for what she finds when she eventually tracks him down. Or what their future might hold.
Gunn had the most difficult choice of his life ripped out of his hands, and his heart when he was given no other option but to take the alpha spot of a wolf pack of crazed, PTSD-filled, out-of-control mercenaries who track down and deal with the bad guys… even if some would consider them not much better. His anger isn’t helping build the shakey pack bond that these wolves need, but when everything you cherish is stolen from you, well, you aren’t in the mood to make new besties. When his men drag Mikey into the compound, as she’s been found spying on them, all bets are off. Her anger is justified, but his situation isn’t going to change any time soon. Toss into the mess one innocent little girl who needs rescuing, now… and hurts and anger has to be set aside, for now.
I was quickly swept up into this world. The danger that Gunn and Michelangela, along with those out-of-control wolves, is very real and intense. So is the passion that certainly hasn’t died between this couple. Hunted is well-written, fast-paced, and action-filled with danger, and a couple who will fight the odds to be together. I loved Mikey, she is kicking butt and taking names with ease and attitude. You do not mess with this woman. Gunn is an amazing hero, true to his word even when it denies him what he needs most… his mate. He’s also stubborn and bullheaded, but that comes with the territory of wolf mercenaries. And I really want to learn the stories of the men in this pack; some are really messed up, but always the possibility of redemption and mates. I enjoyed myself so much with this story, so excuse me, I’m off to read the next one (gotta get caught up!).

I absolutely love this author's books. Imagine how excited I was to see she has started a new series. And this first book is an amazing start. You might want to read "Stolen", a short and intense Prequel that sets the stage with Hawk's and Ariana’s story
HUNTED is the first installment in Anastasia Wilde's new series The Outlaw Wolves. This series is proving to be as well written as her other books with never a boring moment. There is lots of interesting characters, twists and turns, steamy romance that will keep the pages turning.
Gunn didn't want to be an alpha of a pack, especially this pack of misfit and broken wolves, but when their alpha died and the mantle of alpha settled on him leaving him no choice. Leaving Mikey was the hardest thing he ever did, and it was slowly tearing him apart. But his pack doesn't allow females, especially the Enforcer type.
The Bad Blood's little Ninja Baby is all grown up Michelangela was devastated when Gunn left her. Now she is on the hunt to kill him - the wanted criminal that made her fall in love then dumped her.
This is an intense, action packed story that leads us into the series about a pack of misfit and broken wolves. If you enjoyed the Bad Bloods, Wild Bloods, and Dark Wing Dragons series this book is for you.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HUNTED" Anastasia Wilde is such a creative writer thus adventure was totally awesome you couldn't get enough so full of surprises, secrets, danger, intrigue, angst, steam, revenge, twists that you never saw coming.
Gunnar Jorgenson & Michelangela Connor aka Mikey were not exoectong up see one another again after he ghosted her for her own good he felt they never could be together if he stayed Alpha of Outlaw Ridge Pack a bunch of misfit wolves who needed him but didn't really want him.
Mikey was chasing Dobe thinking he'd lead her to Gunn she wanted her revenge for what he did to her she shot him with a toxin that if he didn't get the anti-dote in time he'd die big mistake on her part.
Gunn arrives just time as his pack circles Mikey wanted to kill her for hurting Dobe when she bears his voice she stunned she actually found him.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written book the adventure Mikey & Gunn take you is interesting, entertaining, you meet past Packs that are family up her loved they were part of this story, Boomer he's is crazy entertaining character that make for some great humor & laugh out loud moments.
I'm so looking forward to the next book "RESCUED" it's "SWITCH'S STORY" he was Gunn's pilot among other thing I can't wait to read.

First let me say that like all of Anastasia's books this one draws you in and you are turning pages as fast as you can I would also highly recommend that you read Stolen the Prequel to this series to get the full affect of this story
Gunnerson (Gunn) Jorgenson and Michelangela Connors had a connection and he was about to leave his team of misfit wolves to be with her she was also leaving the Enforcers to be with him as he had a rather checkered past but first he had to go and help a friend for a few days and then he would return That didn't happen while fighting with his friends against a cartel he ended up as the alpha of those misfit wolves. Now Michalangela is out for revenge and blood but when taken captive by some of his wolves Gunn knows that he will do whatever he needs to in an effort to keep her safe even facing off against Thanatos the dark mastermind behind the team. Can these two find a way to make it work and stabilise the pack and how will her family fit into the story be prepared for some visit from past friends as this story unwinds Now I am hanging out for Switch's story the wolf that doesn't want to be part of the pack but never leaves either

Amazing
OH My! What a enjoyable story. The characters are easy to enjoy! The heroes just wants to love and be loved even if they don't know it. Gunn and Mikey have a connection that's so strong even though they think they are not mated with each other. But there is someone who is determined to come between them and sever their bond. This is amazing suspenseful story that has a little of everything and it will never be denied a woman who doesn't knows her mate will not allow anyone or anything to get in the way of her having them because she desires him above all else. This is not just a typical romance, since it has elements that's so surprising and of course throughout the entire time there’s something so unbelievable that’s just simmering beneath the surface, and that along with the depth of passion that the main characters have for each other which what makes this book such a page turner. I found the characters and storyline to be my one favorite. Oh did I forget about the cliffhanger but I don't mind because it's still worth staying up nights to binge on this story it's so fantastic!

Finally we get to see one of the kids grown up.
And it had to be Mikey :D
She had one of the most interesting start to lives with her daddy and now we see her all grown up and hear about how she got to where she is and the mate who drives her insane.
For a while it's not in a good way but when Gunn finally stands up for himself she starts to become the mate that never knew he always needed by his side.
They just have to get past a pack falling apart that he is trying to keep together before they can get there.
He ran from her thinking to keep her safe but this is Mikey, shes from one of the most legendary packs ever, he's just never known how strong she really is. Or what her back up can be.
It's great to see DB grown up (sort of) and a bit of the old crew still popping up here and there but to be honest I have read every one of this authors books that I can get my hands on am still loving them.

You have to read this one.

A year ago, Gunn, a wolf shifter, was working an op and had to leave suddenly. He left a note saying he wouldn't be back and not to look for him. Michelangela or Mikey also a wolf shifter with some extra abilities thrown in, was an Enforcer and comes from a family of Enforcers. She reads Gunn's note and spends a year looking for him.
Mikey finally finds someone who is a known associate of Gunn's but she thinks his a bad guy and shoots him full of poison.She gets caught and is taken back to the Outlaw compound. Who is the alpha there???? Gunn, the man who broke her heart.
Nobody is supposed to know about the wolf compound and a mysterious man who owns the land wants Mikey gone. Gunn knows she's his mate and they take off to finish the mission his man didn't get to do. But once the mission is complete will Gunn have to give up the woman who holds his heart?

Outstanding!
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and wow what a surprise! It does of course mean that I have plenty of back stories to read.
An all round win.
This book features second chance fated mates and seemingly impossible odds. Gunn is the alpha of Outlaw Ridge all the pack members are broken bruised and battered by the things they’ve seen done and survived. A year ago he had planned to leave the pack for her, he’d thought she was the one but he didn’t believe in fairy tales.
Plans change, he had the mantle of alpha thrust upon him when the old alpha was dying it meant he couldn’t leave the pack because they needed him.
What he didn’t count on was her, Michelangela. Not your average broken hearted girl or even wolf shifter. He’d said they were forever the next thing she knew was he ghosted her leaving a stupid note. Now she was on the verge of finding him, she was going to give him a righteous beating and maybe kill him for his lies. Move over ice cream and chocolate this girl is going to get even.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and wow what a surprise! It does of course mean that I have plenty of back stories to read.
An all round win.
This book features second chance fated mates and seemingly impossible odds. Gunn is the alpha of Outlaw Ridge all the pack members are broken bruised and battered by the things they’ve seen done and survived. A year ago he had planned to leave the pack for her, he’d thought she was the one but he didn’t believe in fairy tales.
Plans change, he had the mantle of alpha thrust upon him when the old alpha was dying it meant he couldn’t leave the pack because they needed him.
What he didn’t count on was her, Michelangela. Not your average broken hearted girl or even wolf shifter. He’d said they were forever the next thing she knew was he ghosted her leaving a stupid note. Now she was on the verge of finding him, she was going to give him a righteous beating and maybe kill him for his lies. Move over ice cream and chocolate this girl is going to get even.

Totally missed the prequel novella (which isn't in Kindle Unlimited for some reason). So, it kind a felt like I was missing part of the story when I started. I've got the prequel queued up for the next read. I hate reading series out of order.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Michelangela is one of my favorite kids of the Enforcers/Bad Blood crew. Gunn is a very reluctant Alpha, and is completely thrown into a tailspin when she finally tracks him down. I'm really eager to read more of the damaged wolves that make up his pack. I really liked Boomer & Rex. Switch (unofficial) member of the pack is the next book in the series, which should be fun.
I'm intrigued with Thanatos. I'm curious to find out more about him.

Hunted, Outlaw Wolves, book 1
Fantastic, I'm thinking that this is going to be my new favourite Anastasia Wilde series, although I think I say that with every new series!
This is Gunn and Mikey's story, even if the inevitable has been a while coming! Although I would recommend that people try and read Stolen, Outlaw Wolves Prequel, just to get the most enjoyment from the books.
These books contain thrills, spills and lots of sexy times. A great book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to find out whose next to try and outrun "Fate" from the Outlaw Wolves.

Who really is alpha?
This is season 7 so after all the local wolves and Dragon story's told, we moved to kids but because there are many we have had a few seasons with the kids generation this is the youngest but also adding a pack off misfits who don't like rules but are good at heart.
I found it odd that thanos is running the show even though he isn't a wolf I get its his land and project but the wolves are ment to be loyal to the alpha first and after what happens it's kind of pushed aside no wonder Gunn had problems to many alphas.
I thought thanos was a evil mage in past season?

This is a fantastic start to a new series, and got stronger and stronger as the book progressed. It was full of action and chemistry from the start, but as you got to know the characters, their backstories and all the interactions, it weaved a rich tapestry and you realise this is going to be an amazing series!!
So excited to see more of these characters and how their world grows, so much intrigue still to uncover (Thanatos).
Give this series a read, you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I love mikey! Michelangela knows who she is and what she wants and that happens to be gun. Gunn can not balance all the responsibilities in his life to save himself so noone is winning. Enter mikey on vengeance scheme and watch her shake it all up! It was great reading the start of this spin off and cannot wait to see where Anastasia takes it! Oh and the little twist of mystery at the end...well done, well done. I need to know!!!

This was fine for what it was. I'm not a fan of second chance so I should haver paid closer attention. The two were together for a year and yet, Gunn didn't know squat about Mikey. He hadn't apparently met her father, or her family. Knew nothing about her extended family. It never says how they met but they alluded to doing missions together which seemed odd since Gunn was still a Merc and seemed to be working outside of the law even then. And that they were together for a year and didn't know they were mates was unbelievable as well.

A Great Shifter Romance
I loved this first book in this shifter romance series. Can't wait to read the next one! Loved the action, strong heroes even the sassiness, and the twist and turns in the plot. I really enjoyed that it was a little different then some of the usual shifter romances that I have read. I highly recommend this if you enjoy this kind of reading and if you are looking for something a little different.

I didn’t realize this was related to the Silverlake books until after I started haha. However, it also comes after another related series that is referenced so I did feel like I was missing something. I’ll have to go back and read that series before continuing with this one.
I think the one thing I didn’t like was how easily the horrible treatment of Mikey and betrayal by pack members was swept under the rug. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

This can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, but it is even better when you have read the stories where Michelangela has made appearances in connected series. She is every bit as amazing as one would expect and Gunn turned out to be worthy of her larger than life character. There was lots of action, twists, humor, suspense, shifters, magic, and romance. They get their HEA and it was worth the wait!

Awesome story. I love how they are all connected. From the first series to this one, they are connected. This story has a lot of surprises and heartache. Micky, I finely remember her. so many damaged wolves
The idea of bringing together broken, outcast wolves and bonding into a pack is a good one. Not too sure about Thanatos but Mickey and Gunn are a hot couple, determined to do what’s right. There’s action in the cities and forests and it’s all pretty exciting. The outcome is spectacular. A really well written story for those lazy days or stormy nights!

wow! just wow!!
Anastasia Wilde creates spectacular and vivid worlds. I love getting lost in them. This book has it all. Spice, adventure, love, mystery, kick ass characters, and I love how she tied in characters from the past. All of her books are amazing and I am always sad when the book is over. I can’t wait to read the the next book in this series!!

More action-y and a little bit more angsty than expected, but I really enjoyed it! Mickey is a kick-ass heroine and I enjoyed how she kept surprising Gunn with her connections and skills, and how she grew to understand his connection with the pack and what they needed to ground them. Will definitely put the rest of the series on my TBR.

Very Interesting Fantasy Read
Although this story has some sensual parts, that was not the main focus. Rather, a story of mates and bonding, interrelationships and trust, fantasy and mythical creatures, all trying to function in a modern world. Only rarely, it was a little confusing as to which character was speaking, but not too distractng.

A Good Read
This is a exciting and action packed shifter romance. Each character is their own brand of crazy, in the most entertaining ways. It reads well as a standalone story, but leaves room to connect with the next book in the series as well. Fans of Supernatural (especially fated mates and wolf pack) Romance, will enjoy this story.

Hunted A Second Chance Wolf Shifter Romance
Gunn and Mikey make a great couple. They have great chemistry and are totally sexy together. They’re both badass and keep the action going in this book. Together they rescue a little girl from trafficking and fight other bad things even though not everything they do is legal but it’s all good anyway. I love it.
