A powerless world. Food is scarce. Water is contaminated. Medical care is unavailable. A lawless society filled with an unrestrained criminal element. Who can you trust? Anyone?
"Author Bobby Akart has put together another scorcher of a story in Perfect Storm!"
International bestselling author, Bobby Akart, one of America's favorite storytellers, delivers up-all-night thrillers to over a million readers in 245 countries and territories worldwide.
When two successive blasts from the sun slam into each other, they forge a Perfect Storm so intense that our planet's magnetic field is no match for its fury.
"Though Perfect Storm is a work of fiction, drawn from the incredible imagination of this remarkable author, have no doubt that it isn't a question of if it will happen but when will it happen!"
Without warning, the power grids across North America collapse leaving travelers stranded and families separated from one another. Law enforcement is incapable of protecting life and property leaving the opportunist criminals of New York to run amok. However, it's not only the big cities that face challenges. Rural America is not spared from those who'd take advantage of lawlessness.
"A lot of action, tension and heart-stopping moments!"
The Cubbison family faces harrowing challenges as they finally reunite with one another. However, one of them faces the raging fires of hell which thrusts the family into despair. Will they all survive the depravity of their fellow man and what the sun has wrought?

After the Apocalypse, the cannibal CME's that hit the Earth, people struggled mightily to survive. In Perfect Storm 3, Bobby Akart's omniscient disaster thriller, the Cubbison family is reunited just in time to have to defend their farm and lands from raiding bikers.
You know that feeling when you think you can't take anymore, and yet, it keeps coming? From start to finish, Perfect Storm 3 is the worst nail-biter ever. I'm literally trying to get my blood pressure to go down now that this book has ended.
But stress isn't leaving me because I know that there is a final book to come, and I've been reading Bobby Akart's books for a long time. I know the worst is yet to come. And I will force myself to read it. That's part of the fun.
Growing or making most of their needs, they were well situated for the aftermath of the solar storm that killed the power in the U.S. They would have to fight for their lifestyle and their lives from those who wanted what they had and by those that hated them because they had it. Great characters and a powerful storyline make this apocalyptic thriller a good read!
Book Review: “Perfect Storm 3” by Bobby Akart The perils of societal collapse – it ain’t pretty The extended family continues to persevere through thick and thin. Dr. Quinn played a big role in the community – much more so than just medical. I have ordered “Perfect Storm 4” which will arrive on 29 December, 2022 and am looking forward to how the Afghans will be defeated and what role Vida may play in the coming conflict.
This felt like a short book and a mirror image of book 2 with the farm under attack by some bad guys nearby. In this case, we had the family members on the road now back at the farm, but it was still under attack by bad guys, with two other groups threatening. The writing, though, is good as is editing for the most part (but a bark is heard and not herd). It still felt like more of the same, though a much bigger issue is looming.
While it’s a good story, Bobby seems bound and determined to keep sending in more enemies to attack the family. How many more groups of antagonists can he find to attack our hero’s? And frankly he’s using the same plot lately in his books. Rinse and repeat. Bobby you can do better than this. Your stand-alone book about the New Madrid earthquake was an example of man vs. nature without a whole lot of human enemies attacking our hero’s with an arsenal of weapons.
The Cubbison family and the few others they've taken in on their farm are knee deep in trouble and yet again not of their choosing. They are facing challenges against evil men who are out to take advantage of others misery and hardships and are now also in the crosshairs of radical Islamists out for revenge. Can they survive the brutality and at what cost? Looking forward to reading the next book.
Yet another over the fence homerun by Bobby Akart. Book three catches us up to what happened upon returning home from New York. Then we are off and into more twists and turns in the adventure Akart style. Looking forward to book 4 of the Perfect Storm. Thanks Bobby. We all hope and pray you and family faired well during Hurricane Ian.
The Cubbison family has barely reunited before one crisis after another overtakes them. Trying to get help for Luke they run into two groups, one ex military and the other a criminal biker gang. Little do they suspect how their fates will intertwine with each of them.
As always Akart spins and weaves a fantastic tale . I'm excited for the conclusion. I want to add that while he writes fiction its very easy to compare to current events today.
This puzzle piece of the series was typical for this genre. Akart has set such a high standard in his previous works that it could easily get a first e star rating for other authors. Bring back your stories that are based on your solid research.
Four groups of survivors intersect and compete for food and a place to live after all power is wiped out. Family farmers, bikers, ex military and immigrants. Characters shallow and characitures. Very good goodies, very bad baddies. Enjoyed bk 1 more nuanced won't read bk 4.
I am on edge as I read this series. The characters are amazing. I keep saying, "Oh no!" and other comments to myself. I can't even imagine where book 4 will take me!
Continued strife in the post emp world. The farm is protected for now, but more trouble is on the horizon I'm book ,#4 in the series, which I'm starting right now.
Just completed book 3 and now onto book 4. Wife and I are both fans of Bobby Akart. He does a wonderful job of making you feel like part of the story. Highly recommend!
Bikers, why are there always manic bikers in the apocalyptic world? And of course veterans, and what else, Islamic jihadists? The Author has pulled out all the stops. Will our farm family survive?
I loved this book by Bobby Akart. I also loved the characters. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I would recommend this book and all of Bobby’s books. I listened to this book on audiobook.
The Cubbison’s arrive home. New characters and factions enter the story. The fight for survival in an EMP world, becomes a fight for property and America. Very exciting! Can’t wait to see how the story continues!
Things get real. The lines between sides become clearer. Hard, hard choices must be made. The trip to NYC was only the beginning. It is not a good idea to let anyone see your assets because envy is powerful when your hungry.
Story was too slow moving for my liking. Likely will stop with series at this point. Author spend a great deal of time on, what I fell are extraneous details.

I am a huge fan of this genre and this author, that being said, this is one of his better series in my opinion. Anyone who enjoys this genre will definitely enjoy this series. I highly recommend.
