Primordials #2
Honeymoon In Hell
AN INSATIABLE HUNGER
Cursed with a bloodlust he can’t control, Kel––the youngest of the Primordials––has spent centuries denying himself even the simplest of pleasures. But when his powers mysteriously fail him, he is pushed to the brink by a seductive dark fey who won’t take no for an answer.
AN UNDENIABLE ATTRACTION
He claims a future between them is impossible, but Raya is tempted to prove him wrong. When the unexpected happens, passion burns between them. As Kel’s true self is revealed, Raya fears she may have pushed this fierce demon too far.
A JOURNEY NEITHER CAN ESCAPE
Stuck together with danger lurking in every corner, Kel is determined to protect Raya at all cost, even from himself. Can she help him heal? Or will his bloodlust destroy them both?
*This is an enemies to lovers and fated mates romance. Recommended for readers 18+ due to language and sexual content. This is the sequel to Spellbound. It is recommended to read the books in order. This story does not end on a cliffhanger.*

KC Rating: 5🍁 | 1.5🌶
The series is getting so good! I knew I'd love Kel's story; hell, this was everything! We get to see many new realms, and the angst between Raya and Kel was even better. We get just the snippets in the first book, and they took it to another level in this one.
I guessed that Kel had an issue with his bloodlust, but it never dampened the plot progression as well as him being a jerk and always pushing Raya away! Now Raya was exceptional! Sassy, stubborn and going for what she wanted i.e. Kel in this case! Their journey between realms was great, considering that they were growing closer and getting to know each other! And when they finally gave in to their urges (well Kel mostly), the spice was phenomenal. Plus Raya finally got to know about her heritage, and let's give the father of the year award to her father. He may not be in the first place, but he deserves to be in the spotlight!
If you loved Chase and Sage, don't worry you'll see quite a lot of them in this book, and we'll get to see Chase trying to be a ruler while Craven and his father are away. It was hilarious to see him manage it, and trust me you'll have fun too! Btw, remember Bala (Craven's dragon)? I need more of her in the next book(s)!

I received an ARC of Honeymoon in Hell by the Author to provide an honest review ✍️
This is book #2 of Primordials- #1 is Spellbound which I read in preparation for this ARC and it did NOT disappoint 👌🏼
The brothers in this series give me such Damon & Stephan vibes- just without the love triangle 🔺
Things got spicy 🌶 and I was here for it. The main love interests had great chemistry and their personal backgrounds really developed their characters well!
You could definitely read Honeymoon in Hell without reading Book #1, but the first few chapters might be a little confusing for you since it is multiple POV. I think information about the characters we fell in love with in Spellbound could have just been revealed through through the narrative/perspective of the main love interests in this book- That’s just a personal preference though!
All-in-all, if you like fantasy romance you’ll REALLY enjoy Honeymoon in Hell! 🤩

Oh, Kel, I think you're my new favorite demon. Kel has a dark history with blood lust, but after meeting the dark fae Raya, his powers start going on the fritz, and animal blood is no longer sustaining him. He knew there was something between them, but he couldn't allow it or else he could hurt her. The only issue is that he NEEDS her.
Raya is feisty. She wants Kel and knows he feels their connections. She has never had an issue getting attention from other men, but his dismissal of her is slowly draining her of any ambition to fight for his affection. She knows he feels the pull and that his past has something to do with his avoidance of her.
When Raya is about to give up, Kels brother Chases convinces her to try one more thing. Little did they know how much that would change everything.
The world, or should I say realm building in this series, is amazing. The descriptions make you feel like you're in that realm with the characters. Once again, the tension and angst between the main characters are very well written and not rushed.
Rayas and Kels' scene with her father made my heart both immensely sad and happy at the same time. He deserves best and is a true gem.

This was a great read! Book 2 of the Primordials. 😈
I absolutely loved Spellbound and knew Kell was going to get his story, so I was excited for this release. Chase and Kell brotherly relationship is the best.
The angst and tension in this was great. I was just dying for Kell to unleash and give in. Gah! Such a fun read. The smut was good and I loved all the plot twists and info we got near the end.
Really excited for the next one and how it will all come together. 🙌🏻

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🥵🥵🥵🥵
You best believe I zipped on over to read this book the SECOND I finished Spellbound! All of the questions I had from book one were answered in this book. Here we get to learn a lot more of the background for Kel and Chase. Rays continues to be a badass as she continues to try and seduce Kel. This book is so well written, and I am so ready to read Fallen! ❤️
