Navigating a long distance relationship while dealing with ghosts from Zane’s past, this book is filled with lots of steam, sweet moments, and crazy ex-girlfriend drama.
I highly recommend this book for those that love sweet and steamy small town romance!

Unbroken is book two in Ms. Ryan's The Gladewater series and it is one that you will definitely want to read. She tells us a store of two people who you would not expect to connect but they do. Maggie and Zane are complete opposites when it comes to everything. Maggie is a small-town cafe owner that suffers from low self-esteem and is really not a party type of girl, whereas Zane is a big city doctor that is a bit of a playboy and not one that wants to be in a relationship. However, there is a saying that opposites do attract and this is exactly what happens when Maggie and Zane meet. When they are together sparks fly and everyone around them can see it. Their romance is not one that is smooth and wonderful.
Maggie is a sweet woman who runs the town's cafe with her brother however her mother is not that accepting of her life or her job. Her love life is non-existent due to a situation that happened in her past. When she meets Zane, a good friend of her best friend, Dani, all her thoughts go astray. He is handsome, well educated, and full of southern charm. Whenever he comes to visit Dani he always seems to find time to go to the cafe and see Maggie. She decides to give him a chance and see where it can lead, but will she regret it or will this be the ride of her life? When they are together things heat up and fires burn hot but will it last?
Zane is a big city doctor that is into one-night-stands with women that are superficial and only after one thing, money. He doesn't do relationships until he meets Maggie, the small-town girl that has all his attention. She is everything that he thought never really wanted. The more he sees her the more he is falling for her. Is she the one that has Zane changing his playboy ways? Their time together is full of passion, laughs and fun.
Maggie and Zane seem like they were meant to be together, however when things are not as they seem and communication is lacking hearts are broken. Can Zane convince Maggie that she is the one for him? When danger arrives, will Maggie and Zane's relationship survive?
Ms. Ryan does a wonderful job at keeping your attention right from the start with her writing style and her storyline. Although Unbroken is book two and is a standalone, I recommend reading the first book Collide, as you will get more insight into how everyone is related and how Maggie and Zane's first meeting happens. I recommend adding Unbroken to your TBR list.

Unbroken, is the second book in The Gladewater Series by Dallas Ryan. A small town/big city long distance romance filled with cozy caring moments. Maggie, who struggles with self-esteem issues, is hands down one of the sweetest and most caring characters ever written in my opinion. So, it was easy for me to forgive her when I felt she overreacted in certain situations. Dr. Zane Savage, while utterly gob smacked when he meets Maggie, does come with challenges of his own. This story is complete with all the feels from utter outrage to lump in your throat moments. This was my first read by the author and won’t be my last. I just adore Maggie’s bestie Dani and her outspoken ways. So much so that I must know her story and have added “Collide”, the first book in this series to my summer reading list. I highly recommend this read for any romance lover.

Unbroken is the second book in the Gladewater series and while I haven't read the first one I really liked this one. It works quite well even when you haven't read the first one and I wasn't confused about the characters or the timeline.
In Unbroken we follow Maggie and Zane. Maggie is a sweet and caring girl, but she struggles with her self-esteem. When she meets DR. Zane Savage there's an immediate attraction, but his usual type is leggy barbie doll blondes, Maggie's exact opposite. Will the attraction prevail? If it does, will these two workaholics be able to make it work despite their schedules and the distance? And will Zane's past come back to haunt him?
Suspense and romance with great characters and a really good villain!

Wow!!! She’s getting better and better! Dr Savage and Maggie are perfection. They are so cute, sweet, romantic and holy molly so h0t. Dallas makes me laugh so much but she manage to makes me cry too! My heart broke to pieces with both of them, Maggie and Zane but with JT too!!! Their HEA is so awesome I totally love it. Seen Dani and Levi here too, aww make ms me fall for them again (their lives here are amazing too). Gladewater have so much future and I’m in first row to see everything that grows there. Can’t wait for book 3, Redeem I have the premonition that JT is going to make me cry and blush at the same time.

Maggie is incredibly sweet, struggles with her self-esteem and works at the diner she owns with her brother. Zane is a neurologist who is known for cycling through woman especially those with a Barbie doll type appearance. They do not sound like a couple that would match but oh my goodness let me just tell you they absolutely do!
Zane comes to town to help his friend Dani with a relative’s health problem. Dani is also Maggie’s best friend so the two meet and have a pretty instant connection. Maggie has issues with self confidence and trust so Zane has to work hard to make her see that she truly is beautiful and the he sees the true her. That would be a bit easier but someone from Zane’s past barrels back into his life and threatens to tear Zane and Maggie’s new relationship apart. Maggie will truly have to learn to trust and Zane will need to protect Maggie both in their relationship and physically. There are some ups and downs and both Maggie and Zane make some mistakes along the way but thankfully the chemistry is always there to help them through it. I love when a book has a ton of steam as well as a great storyline and this one definitely has both!
I love that we get to see parts of Dani and Levi from Collide (book 1 in this series) as well. We met Maggie and Zane through them in that book. Either book can be read as a stand-a-lone but I highly recommend reading both books to see all the interactions between the characters.

charming and enjoyable
This is a romantic and sexy love story. I didn’t read the first book, but it didn’t really matter. It was still just as enjoyable and I had no problem following along. I liked the small town girl/big city Dr. contrast and the sass and wit of the main female character made it even more exciting. The doctor was also charming and was easy to fall in love with. I love having new book boyfriends.

Zane's past was hard for Maggie to accept and the insecurities she dealt with just made it harder. It was a sweet but slightly angsty read. Looking forward to the next one in the series!

If Dani and Levi's story made me fall in love with this world, Maggie and Zane's story made me fall even harder for this world and these characters. Maggie and Zane's story is full of heat and heart and plenty of chemistry plus that pinch of suspense Dallas weaves into her stories, heightening the stakes for everyone. Another great small town romance read!

Unbroken by Dallas Ryan is book 2 in the Gladwater series.
I knew from the moment Zane and Maggie met in Collide that I was going to love their book! Their connection was almost instant!! I absolutely loved it!!
Maggie and Zane meet at the diner she co-owns with her brother, while he is visiting Dani to help with her Aunt. Zane is a doctor from Dallas where Dani used to work.
They had an instant connection. But from the outside looking in, a sweet as pie small town girl, diner owner and big shot playboy neurologist from the city. You wouldn't look at them and think they'd be perfect for eachother, but they are. That's not to say that their happily ever didn't come without a rollercoaster ride that only Dallas Ryan could deliver!! Navigating a long distance relationship isnt always easy especially when Zane has a playboy past and a crazy ex girlfriend & Maggie struggles with self esteem issues and has to dig her heels in and learn to trust Zane, something that doesn't come easy. Unbroken is full of those up and down moments that any relationship has. The moments where you fight for love and trust and protecting one another! Helping each other learn their worth. And helping eachother grow. Its steamy but also full of those sweet moments that just hit different in a small town romance.

This story was wonderful. We all have a crazy ex and Dr. Zane Savage is no different. He thought she was gone and over him but once he finds love in Maggie, the crazy ex comes back with vengeance. Luckily, Zane and Maggie have amazing friends and they will hopefully all overcome the exes plans to ruin their lives.
Love, love, loved Zane and Maggie. I also loves learning more about Dani, Levi, and JT. I hope book three comes out sooner rather than later.
I recommend this book for 18+

When we met Maggie and Zane in Collide I could not wait for this book. Sparks flew instantly with them and I was interested and invested to see how their story played out. I wanted to know why Maggie seemed so closed off to men in the first book. That being said I really did enjoy their story.
Zane made me a bit mad there in the middle but the friendship that Maggie and Dani have made up for Zane being a bit of a noble ass there for a bit. Zane did make me swoon a little bit with how he treated her and how romantic he could be.
I'm looking forward to JT and Sofia's story coming up!

I have been lucky enough to have read Collide which is the Book one in this Glade-water Series. Let me tell you that the minute I knew Dallas was making this a series I couldn’t contain myself. Book 2 gives you the insight on Zane and Maggie . Zane being an amazing doctor who lives in Dallas and Maggie being a restaurant owner with her brother JT. Zane has a past and Maggie is as good as gold. Their love story takes you on an adventure. Zane stole my heart in book 1 so when I got him all to myself in Book 2 I couldn’t put it down. Book 2 also has many characters from book 1 that make appearances so that was a blessing because we can never get rid of Dani and Levi. This book is just pure perfection and I can not wait to continue on this path and book 3. Cmon Dallas we are waiting for JT :)

This is the first of Dallas' books that I've read and I'll be going straight to buy book one because I bloody loved it! The story flowed well and moved at pace with short chapters, the dialogue felt realistic and always relevant. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions, from giddy happiness, to heart-breaking angst, to bubbling steam, to suspenseful crazy ex-girlfriend drama. The third person narration gives the reader a really good insight into both Maggie and Zane's inner monologue; I found I really related to Maggie's insecurities and my heart just broke for her every time she had doubts creep in. I lived how Zane was with her; totally besotted.

I loved Maggie and Zane’s story, you just can’t help but to fall in love with the characters and the setting of the book and how it’s written you can mentally feel like you are there. I can’t wait for the third book!

I’m honestly glad that I stumbled upon Dallas Ryan. Ever since reading Collide, I had wanted to read more from her, and Unbroken didn’t disappoint!
We meet Zane and Maggie in Collide, the first book of the Gladewater series. Zane is Dani’s friend from the hospital that she worked at before she moved back to Gladewater. Maggie is Dani’s childhood friend. The glimpses of Maggie and Zane made me want to know about their relationship. Zane was a playboy before Maggie. Dani warned Zane before pursuing Maggie because of his reputation. However, the chemistry was there from the beginning, from when they first met. Zane and Maggie have changed each other for the better, balancing each other out, even though there were a lot of ups and downs. Not sure if this is a spoiler, so I’ll block everything out just in case.
No one wants to read about a perfect relationship even if they deserve a happy ever after.
I loved how Dallas chose the titles of her books from song titles, and the song will be mentioned at some point in the book.
Living with siblings could have many awkward situations. I can’t imagine living with my sibling long-term, no matter the relationship. Temporary maybe, but long term, no way. The scenes with JT are something else. JT has been Maggie’s brother, and father figured rolled into one. He’s overprotective of Maggie. Yet he let Zane and Maggie make their own choices. There were many instances where he wanted to interfere but held back and tried his best to be supportive of them.
I cannot wait to read more from Dallas Ryan.

I went into ‘Unbroken’ not having read the first book, but I was still pretty invested in the storyline.
It follows Maggie and Zane — a playboy doctor and cafe owner. In my mind, I found them to be opposites of one another, but somehow they click.
The chemistry between them was magical. And even though some curveballs were thrown in, throughout it all — I admired the lengths some are willing to go to protect their loved ones.
Overall, it was a great read. I enjoyed reading about these characters, their adventures, and the struggles of navigating a lengthy distant relationship. While also trying to protect what matters the most.

Maggie needs a prescription for self confidence. Paging Dr. Zane, the sexy new big city neurologist. This has everything I love in a small town romance - sweet, sizzle, and a dash of crazy ex drama. While this can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading Dani's story Collide before starting this one. Excited for more books in the Gladewater world!

Loved this whole series. I thought this would be my least favorite because i dont relate to Maggie as much but you cant help but love her. This was also the most intense plot.

I love a good romance with a crazy ex girl friend twist! Dallas Ryan is such a great written you will feel deeply invested in the characters!
