Tirone is the part two of this duet and answers all the questions in Furore. Must be read AFTER Furore. It's dark, depraved and not for the faint of heart. Do NOT read if you have any triggers. Lovers of really dark romance and forbidden tabb00s will devour this duet 1-clik now
Another psycho hiding in plain sight, pretending to be normal. Half Egyptian. Loather of cats. Allergic to fake sh*t. Lover of everything dark and spicy.
Tirone by N.J. Adel is book Two in The Night Skulls MC Series. This continues the story of Jo, Furore and Tirone. You will need to read the previous book Furore before starting this one. This book does pick up where we left off in the that book. Jo is in danger and her feelings are still torn between father and son. This is Duet has been a hot crazy taboo story. I do want to read more from this author.
The author has put a taboo warning at the start of this book so take notice it is not for the faint of heart. This is the conclusion that has more drama more sexy times to be frank it has more of everything. The story picks up with the characters all reunited and everyone in Texas to try to keep Jo safe. Jo is caught between father and son and if you thought Furore was scary and intense Tirone takes that darkness and amplifies it by a thousand. I can't decide is Jo is lucky or crazy for taking on one of them never mind both. Be prepared for some dark themes in the story and some very very sexy scenes. This is a taboo storyline done well and one that kept me invested from the start.
I could probably write an entire essay on why I hated this book.
I hated the first book but they said it gets better…and since I’m all about second chances, I gave it a shot. It’s going to take a while for me to pretend I didn’t read this book. This book just annoyed me on soooo many levels. Took it too far on so many levels.
If you are reading this book and want to enjoy it heartfully, you gotta forget all of your rights as a human and as a woman. What did I do to deserve this? This ain't dark romance at this point, it's just dark. This book starts right off where it left off in the first book and trust me it gets progressively worse.
I will start with Jo, one of the dumbest and fucked up FMC I have ever read about. This woman was finding reasons to justify both of her lover's actions. Both of them have raped her and she forgives them because they saved her "life". Somewhere in the middle of the book I was getting major pick-me vibes from her. She legit told all of the women not to wear pink underwear because that was her man's favorite color... insecure much? She has no backbone, weak af and I had a hard time keeping up with her character. The fact she hooked up with Tirone, knowing the fact he's underage doesn't sit right with me. She acknowledged this fact by herself so many times yet go along with it.
Furore or Lauis whatever this old man's name was, tattoed his FUCKING NAME on her ass without her consent, raped her multiple times, took advantage of her vulnerable moments, was a bad father, and whatnot. And also he hooked up with Jo's mother before she was even born ... If you wanna like this man you gotta throw out your feminism out the goddamn window cause he was the worst.
Tirone, this mf. I don't get why the hell he was tryna act mature when he's NOT. He has no sense. Everything this boy said or done is very concerning to me. He raped Jo multiple times, and he knows it too but apparently, to him she deserves it cause he believes she cheated on him whereas his pathetic ass was the one who dumped her. He never took accountability for his actions cause he's blind and he thinks whatever he's doing is right. He deserves to be put in jail.
There were times when CNC wasn't CNC anymore it was straight-up rape. I have read much darker books but I have never come across this kinda behavior as shown in this book. They both were abusive to her and she's fucking blind to see cause she was "the luckiest, naughtiest bitch on earth" enjoying her goddamn life.
I won't judge anyone for liking this book - cause you do you and this was my opinion
This is the second book in the Night Skulls MC duet and you need to read Furore first. After saying that…hold on because this book was crazy. Don’t read if you have triggers but if you don’t you are going to love this book because it is a book that I couldn’t put done with all the darkness mixed in. Oh, yeah triggers abounded in this book so please don’t read and then mark down because of the path this author takes you on.
I don’t want to give anything away so if you want a book that will hold your interest all the while making you think that this can’t get any darker, this is definitely a book for you. I can’t wait for more to come from my newly found author.
WOW! This was a dark and deliciously fantastic conclusion to this thrilling story! Right from the start we are thrust back into this action packed, suspenseful, exciting and utterly titillating world. There is so much darkness, violence and emotional turmoil that my head was spinning. It was one hell of an intense and crazy rollercoaster ride that will test your limits of what you can handle when delving deep into taboo situations. Raw, gritty and explosively HOT!
Really well written story that had me once again gripping my kindle tightly, biting my nails with anticipation and pulling out my B.O.B.! So freaking deliciously good!
This book isn't for everyone. 😈 3 stars + ( .5 for the changeroom scene)
If you lean more toward the 'dark side' of romance, and like reading taboo! This might be a good book for you. I would best describe this story as a toxic taboo love triangle. Its more lust, dominance, toxic chaos and very low on romance. If your like me and must know 'does it have a HEA'? - scroll down below ?
Whilst I liked the book, there were a couple of things that annoyed me in book 2 eg the heroine treating Furore like an idiot. Some of her excuses were weak as p@$$. Would have liked a tad more romance.
All three were toxic and enablers. Ti needed a good psych evaluation. Actually, they probably all needed one! 🤔🤓 Surprisingly, I didn't mind the mummy kink. I thought it was hot!! (the changeroom scene) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ALSO SEE BELOW - list of triggers. Whilst there is a trigger warning in the book, there is no detailed list. Has MF and MFM.
rough /kinky sex Non con/dub con (occurs a few times-with Hs) Breath play Mummy kink (2 scenes) Kidnapping Spanking Branding (tatt) Daddy kink - (2 scenes) Voyeurism Public sex Mental Health - (Ti and Jo)
Cheating - H (Ti) kissed ow to make h jealous. HEA : Yes for all.
there reaches a point sometimes where CNC is no longer CNC and it’s just rape. this has crossed that line way too many times. tirone sucks big time. furore also sucks. they are both borderline horrible people. jo is boring expect for that one time she stood up to them. nothing about this was good. major let down from part one.
MY RATING: 2* RELEASE DATE: 20 May 2022 CLIFFHANGER: No
ARC was kindly provided for an honest review
First of all, let me start by saying, not every book is for everyone. And unfortunately, I was simply not the target reader for this book, so it absolutely missed the mark for me, and the review might just slightly read as a rant. But here it goes…
So, we pick up where we left off with Furore. Secrets were finally revealed, and questions answered. At the beginning of the book, I’m still #teamfurore. Who wouldn’t? He’s possessive, alpha-badass, daddy biker. So yes, I’m rooting for him. And I’m still rooting for Jo. Still feel sympathy for her and the fuckery that is her life.
Then usher in Tirone and it all goes tits up.
That Tirone is a sick mofo. And I don’t mean in the endearing way. I’ve read some really dark, morally questionable shit in my time but this… I have now words. I didn’t find his character likable at all. Not because of the things he did, but because of how and what he was. He was insane and not in the cute alpha way.
And Jo…
I’m not victim shaming here but seriously?
You know what really did it for me? Furore’s reaction to what happened to his wife that landed her in hospital.
Seriously? Your son hurts your wife like that, and a man of such status just talks about it like they’re planning a fucking holiday? Really? Up until this point Furore has been portrayed as this hard, tough, possessive and protective man who’d take on the fucking mafia for his woman. Now here he is being bitch slapped (figuratively) by a teenager. Furore
Another thing that really annoyed me were those fucking poems. I was just so confused about whether what I was reading was supposed to be dark or not.
But when we finally got to the ending. That little resolution of theirs, I thought
I’m sorry but this is absolutely not what I expected from the author that wrote the Italians series because that author wrote the shit out of those books. This just didn’t work for me. I’m sorry.
Apparently this book was supposed to be better than the first one in the series... It wasn't... at some point I questioned myself about why I kept reading it. It got worse with each page...
Hands down this duet is the taboo-est book i have ever read. I mean, father and son? And the kinky super steamy smegsi scenes? Hotdang! Get the ac freezing to the max, please!
If you have no triggers, this duet is an absolutely a must read. But İF you do, even on tiny trigger, stay out of this duet for the author have no boundaries.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Firstly, I should like to thank N. J. Adel via Booksprout for my ARC copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are my own and I am leaving it voluntarily.
I am going to start by reiterating something that N.J. says at the back and front of the book. If you have triggers....taboo, incest, extreme bdsm, etc., then please do not read this book only to give it a low rating because of the subject matter.
For me this was a 5 star read based on how brilliantly the plot was crafted and how well written the book was. It was intensely dark, extremely taboo, insanely twisted and dirty but an absolutely riveting read. I have no real triggers but on occasion found myself shaking my head but it did not stop my enjoyment or love of this book. Of all of N. J.'s books that I have read, including Furore, the first in this series, this was by far the darkest and most taboo. This went places that none of the author's books have gone in the past. I loved and hate Tirone but I will say no more. Furore is the ultimate bad boy with a soft heart inside and Jo is interesting different. I will give nothing away here, no spoilers, but I was hooked from the beginning and I honestly couldn't predict in what direction it was going to go and end. Thank you N.J. for taking me out of my comfort zone just slightly and I would recommend this book to your fans, my friends who like dark, twisted and taboo and I believe that Furore has to be read first in this series. I again, will say, if you have triggers then this is not for you, but if you don't prepare yourself to be drawn into the story and sit at the edge of your seat, not wanting to put the book down until the very last word and period. Congratulations, N. J. Adel you have a winner here in Tirone and I hope you take the series further on with other members of the "family".
0⭐️ I had no problem with the taboo relationship. I’ve read way better, darker ones and I’ve liked them. My issue was with the way rape was written in this fuckin book, it was supposed to be CNC and dub con but it reached a point where it wasn’t even close to CNC it was RAPE. The FMC was totally fine after Tirone raped her and she even admitted to it being what it was and yet the author wrote it like it was no big deal EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’m disgusted, truly I DNF at 95% and skipped to the epilogue out of curiosity, only to find out she ends up with her husband (Furore, the shitty husband) AND the son (Tirone, the rapist) This is not my cup of tea at all but if you like reading about a girl with no backbone “falling in love” with a man who tells her he gets to fuck her whenever and however he wants because she doesn’t have the right to tell him no, and his psycho son who puts a gun in her vagina and rapes her over and over…go right ahead
(Disclaimer: it’s just my opinion if you think this is how the story should’ve gone then good for you)

I’m gagging and throwing up. This book was actually good but the plot points in it were just disgusting and I don’t even have any triggers. The fact that she ends up with both dad and son (with son who even rapes her at some points) is just wildly disgusting. Like if he didn’t rape her and stuff I wouldn’t hold it to heart that much but he literally just was red flag after red flag. Don’t even get me started in prison guy being ok with all of that. Like I would actually send my child to prison if he did that my partner. But like also MFC liked what he was doing to her and it all was just a mess. The whole her shooting herself in the head was just dumb and I wish she really did die. I didn’t want a happy ending for the character I wanted a happy ending for the reader ( which would have been death for all of them). Other than all those taboo and scary moments this book was well written and fun to follow.

Thank goodness that’s over. The whole book was just a bunch of whining and begging. I almost DNF’d it at 75%. The ending smut was not my cup of tea-a little too ick for me. I couldn’t stand Jo the ho, and Furore gave me creepy old man vibes.
Honestly i like dark romance but this book make me fill angry with Jo. Through the how book she only care about Ty. Not Furore and i feel like the author make Furore look weak and he forgives the cheating Jo did with his son. And Furore & Ty “rape” her when they wanted to she even saids it herself and she saids "no". Also I feel Jo force Furore to have 3 people relationship. And I think the author should it have either kill Ty or Furore and make Jo grovel more so Furore could forgive the cheating she did with Ty. Also Ty should have pay for his actions and not get a happy ending with Jo and Furore.
You must read Furore (book 1) and Tirone (book 2) together. No spoilers with this duet, but please go in blind and be prepared to be blown away. N. J. Adel takes you on a dark, twisted Harley-Davidson-driven ride, and you won't want to get off. Trigger warnings were plenty, and I was here for all of them. Dark, growly, possessive men that left me hot under the collar. The plot was dark and angsty, and the secrets revealed along the way left me floored. N. J. Adel is a new author to me, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to read her.
Because I don’t know how to DNF a book, I read the second one. Maybe I gaslighted myself into thinking it would be getting than the first one?? Yeah nope this was worse. Also Tirone was a fucking psychotic child and I don’t see why the FMC even gave him the time of day - I would have kicked his lame ass to the curb whether I was with his father or not. Like he had literal temper tantrums and this girl still protected him?? Like tf. I’m never trusting TikTok suggestions again - y’all fucking lied.
Alors !!!!!!!!!
Damn I felt like I just went on some wild adventure. This taboo MC read was spicyyyyy and pretty interesting story. What’s honestly not to love?? Bikers, attractive and muscles! Along with some drama and secrets! Then the trope of age gap, teacher/student.. and that taboo stuff and you have a legit filthy good read 😂🔥 Plus the possessive alphas are fantastic dirty talkers. What’s not to love??
I don't even have words for what this book put me through...Reading this book was a dark journey, that I would happily go on again.
The turmoil in these pages is not for the faint of heart... but it's worth blackening your soul for a taste of Furore and Tirone.
Secrets revealed...desperation for love...depravity...guilt...shame...betrayal. The Night Skull MCs have their hands full with these two and I applaud Jo for handling them as best as she could.
Could not put this book down, stayed up until 5am reading it, just to find out how it all ended and I wasn't disappointed.
This duet is pure chaos. Overall I give it a 3.5 but will round up to 4 because it’s mainly because things were not to my personal taste but may be someone else’s.
This ended up WAY different than I thought it would. Slightly unbelievable? But fiction is fiction. I hated all three of the MCs until the very end so I guess the ending did solve that.
It was great writing. Emotions were high - I was nervous one second and clutching my metaphorical pearls the next. The shock factor was top tier.
I shouldn't have read this on... I already disliked the first book, I seriously don't know what has gotten into me, picking up the second book from this series. But that's on me, it's my own fault 🤷♀️
Also if you're into CNC ... go for it I guess, whatever floats your boat. But honestly. Some scenes were just straight-up rape. That, and the way it was handled in the story is ridiculous. The rape just happened (multiple times btw) and that was that ... like everyone went on with their days as if nothing has happened. Like wtf ?! It was never really mentioned again after that. Maybe I'm not so well-versed in the dark romance genre but I have read some, and I'm sure this was not it.
Wow, also all characters were terrible. Especially Tirone. This mf was a red flag walking on two legs !! I mean they were all. But he was absolutely and completely bonkers. I mean yeah sure, it's just a fictional character it's not that deep, but still ... his character didn't make sense. Dude was mentally unstable, had major tantrums and extreme anger issues.
And this ... ladies and gentlemen is the guy our female MC couldn't resist at the end. She was talking about love ... like, "yeah, ok he raped me but I still love him, it's in the past"🙄🙄🙄🙄 Also, I kinda went blind into it. I did not know that this story was heading toward a father & son kink situation. Just No no no nope NOPEEEE. If that's something some people like, then please, enjoy yourself.
Not one single character here deserved a happy ending. Or wait no, let me correct myself. They were horrible, so they deserved each other.
I wish I can unread certain books. That's one of them.

Again with the freaking Y'ALL lmfao
This book was much crazier than the last and I loved it. It was full of drama and depravity and of course smut that it's a wonder my head hasn't exploded after I finished reading.
I've always been intrigued with the tale of Laius and Jocasta when I first read about it in high school, studying Greek mythology. This book was way more entertaining than the sparse story I've learned in school. It's in the way the plot unravels slowly, excruciatingly, as the characters spiral down and destroy themselves and each other.
All the time I was begging Jo to spill the truth, for Ty to get help, and for Furore to have mercy. I was in the middle of their tug-of-war and it was crazy getting inside the heads of each character, reading their POVs. They're all depraved and twisted, there was no exception, and it was a beautiful as much as it was tragic.
The constant fear of what will happen once Jo or Tirone exposes their dirty little secret swallowed me whole. There were non-con scenes, so please read at your own discretion. I've never read a well-written twisted story in my life. This book deserves a reread, which I'd sure do once I finished with my other ARCs lol There'll be no forgetting this duet for a while, that's for certain.
I don’t mind taboo, I actually enjoy most stories I have read but wow this one really pushed my limits. I enjoyed the first book, I actually liked Furore but he scared and disappointed me in this book. I actually quite liked Tirone which ironically I thought I would hate. Still didn’t justify the things he did to the fmc though. Especially after the wedding scene. But tbh I find it hard to be angry at his reaction. Jo literally promised him false hope. I would be mad too if I was him. And Jo disgusted me. How she let these two men walked over her were beyond comprehension. She’s a teacher for fork sake. That “boiler room” scene nauseated me. She didn’t consent to what Furore did to her and then the next chapter she’s talking about the wedding like her future husband hadn’t just violated her in front of his son/her other lover. Where’s all that energy when she confronted Candy? Can’t do the same to the men because you love them too much? Bleeghh.
I actually enjoyed the book up until that motel scene where Jo, being the wishy washy that she is, chose to go back to Furore after he told her he hooked up with her own mother (while the mother was being pregnant with her- WTF that’s f*cking nasty) and oh right before that, she slept with Tirone because she thought she’d never get back with Furore. Like I said- a wishy washy cheating bitch who can’t make up her own decision. How on earth she ended up being a teacher was beyond me.

This book is Taboo and read the TW before jumping into this duet (Tirone is the 2nd Book)
I was glued to these books.. i enjoy dark romances a lot and this duet had everything:
🔥ex-boyfriend's father 🔥 FORBIDDEN relationships 🔥teacher/student, taboo age gap 🔥Tall, Dark, and deliciously psycho anti-heroes 🔥heroine with a traumatized past 🔥Scorching dark scenes
This book is very descriptive and well written and executed. It will keep you on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns and the Author writes in such a manor that you get attached to the characters from the first book.
Remember to read the first book Furore before jumping into this book.
Remember to check TW as this is very dark.
I enjoyed both books and if you like the stuff mentioned above and you are fine with TW then i would Highly recommend that you read this duet.
I am leaving this review voluntarily and i did receive a Free E-copy of this book in return for my Honest Spoiler Free review.
