After his first and only tour in the Middle East, Macklin came home injured and suffering PTSD. Blind in one eye, excruciating headaches and flash backs that were becoming more dangerous, he knew something had to change.
West understood war. He understood what it was like to come home from that battle and have to continue battling everyday. The flashbacks, the nightmares, the voices that seemed to echo through his brain every day and night. He was haunted by those that he lost. Not many people understood it. They didn't understand how you never stopped fighting. The enemy just became the demons in your head.

Another Great Addition to Series
I continue to enjoy reading this series as characters work to overcome difficulties that they are facing including trauma. I wish the book was longer because it was a quick read.

brilliant
Loved this entire thing . All the series set in this universe are great and really entertaining, so hard to even put down. Highly recommended.
