Two months ago, everything changed. A war was fought, my father was killed, and I woke up the next morning as Alpha of my pack. Secrets came to light and I descended into a darkness of my own making, but then there she was. Her flame burned so bright that I couldn’t resist, but if she’s fire, then I’m gasoline. This thing between us is chaotic and volatile, bound to set everything around us ablaze. Still, I can’t let her go. If I’m headed for hell, I’m dragging her with me.

I loved re reading this series! The character development and stories the author has created are amazing and there is PLENTY of the good stuff. 😉 I’ll definitely be re reading again at some point.
♾️ 🌶🌶🌶.5 I love the Six-Pack series and I recommend it to everyone who asks for a binge worthy series. But if I had to pick one book out of the series as my favourite it’s Alpha Chase. This book utterly consumed my life, and I read it in a day. It had all my favourite things the perfect amount of toxicity, banter for days and tension, angst, heavier themes, and the spice was spicing.
Chase and Vienna’s relationship can be summed up as perfectly chaotic, and I loved every minute of it. The push and pull between them was so so good. Vienna challenged Chase at every turn, and that's exactly what he needed. The character development and complexity of Chase and Vienna were perfectly done. Chase had so many layers to him and emotions throughout, and it poured off the pages. Vienna’s perseverance throughout with her personal and family issues was inspiring. Seeing Chase and Vienna slowly fall into each other and learn they could conquer the world together was beautiful. I am obsessed with Chase and Vienna 🖤
Chase’ entire world was turned upside down, and suddenly, he was the Alpha of his pack. He learned he was deceived for most of his life, from the people closest to him. He couldn’t deal with the pain and decided to descend into the darkness of his own making. Until he saw her, Vienna a bright flame that drew him into her.
Vienna’s life has never been easy. But she continued to persevere and was determined to carve out her own path in the world that no one could take away. Vienna’s plans never involved getting involved with Chase an arrogant Alpha. But somehow, Chase pulls Vienna into his vortex of destruction.
“Show me how much you hate me, baby” 🫦
♡ fated mates ♡ wolf shifters ♡ enemies to lovers ♡ OTT tension/angst ♡ troubled pasts ♡ broody broken boy ♡ feisty girl ♡ ‘I hate you’ as a love language ♡lots of spice
I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t like Chase very much in any of the books. I think it’s probably because he was a moody teenager while all the other Alpha’s were early-mid 20’s so I found his behaviour throughout quite annoying. I just wanted to slap him and tell him to grow up, which thankfully Vienna did!
I wasn’t expecting Vienna to be his mate, after the last book I thought it might be Serena’s sister but I was pleasantly surprised as I loved Vee in the first book and she made some cameo appearances throughout the series.
This one was written slightly different to the other 5 books, we had a flashback that was split over multiple chapters. I kind of liked this as it kept me guessing throughout. My guess originally was that Chase’s mum was the fated mate to Xavier and they had a child and he was pissed that both his parents died in the battle and wanted to go after Chase. I think this would have been a better twist than one that was revealed. We went too long between chapters without seeing the rouge wolf for my liking, when it finally came to the finale I had almost forgotten that there was even a rogue issue.
I still am a but dubious of Chase but I think it’s because I still didn’t like him throughout 50% of this book. This could be just because I had already decided that I didn’t want to like him and didn’t really want to read his book. I felt like his turn around in some ways was a bit quick but I did enjoy watching his character development. Gray has the patience of a god damn saint, in fact so does Vienna.
They are both crazy, they are both gasoline and when they come together it creates a spark and the whole thing blows up. But I was kind of loving this primal, darker twist on romance.
I can’t give the book 5 stars because I felt the rogue issue wasn’t addressed enough and because I didn’t really like chase still at the end. Others may love Chase and his changes but I just wasn’t feeling it.
I’m sad the series is over and the epilogue was a great indication we may see the next set of Alphas of the six pack in another series… who knows! Overall this series gets a 4.5* rating from me
Ok so this story delves into the life of the 'baby Alpha' Chase. Secrets are descovered after his father's death and Chase struggles to accept what he is told and his new role of Alpha. Step in Vienna. We was first introduced to her in Alpha Gray as a recruit but she never made the grade.
Chase and Vienna meet and there is this attraction between the pair of them that they both struggle with. Vienna hates him and his attitude but finds herself drawn to him. The full moon reveals the reason.
The story as always focuses on the pair and their budding relationship and stubborness to accept each other while struggling in their personal lives. The other Alphas and Lunas make appearences and help them in their own ways.
There are plenty of spicy scenes and as with all the six pack series new mates are revealed. Great story and great chemistry. This is one of the better stories in this series. As the final six pack novel its a must read.
Chase is a surly high schooler, hanging out with his five friends. He carries himself as a tough boy, emitting all the alpha energy around him. There is a war about to start and he wants to be a part of it. His father, Alpha Vaughn says he should stay back and not join this. He goes into it through. His father was killed by Chase's mother! He froze in that moment watching in horror, then the mother wanted to kill Chase. Fallon and Serena killed her, defending Chase. In the months that passed, he was angry and hurt. Smoking week and drinking a lot. Alpha Grey was trying to help him transition to the new Alpha of his pack, since his father died. Knocking on his pack house door was Vienna. All 5'2 of her feisty self. Looking up at Chase and not expecting an instant attraction to him. They have the hate you down to a pat. The hate sex was phenomenal!
I've now read all the six-pack books, and I am happy I did. They all had their own reason. I loved them. Fresh off Chases story, all I can say is WOW. Although he's a young pup grieving and finding his way, the writing was fantastic, and if you're looking for HEAT and spice with a side of oh my, this is it.
Vienna and Chase are primal and definitely push eachothers buttons, but in a way they both need for different reasons. There is so much emotion in this book between the two leads. My heart jumps and breaks for them throughout it. Proud of Vienna. She's so strong and doesn't let Chase push her around.
I am looking forward to reading the stand-alone books that follow this series. I think I also saw books about the heirs.

I absolutely LOVE this series. Each book I got through made it harder and harder to decide who was my favorite couple – I loved them all (but ok, Brock and Chase). I thought that this series was a perfect blend of plot and spice, and I really liked seeing how the characters matured based on their romantic situations, and how they grew as leaders within their packs at the same time. I read this entire series within a week or two, so clearly I couldn't put the books down. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a steamy shifter romance with warrior training, strong friendships, and coming of age growth.
This entire book is a dang smokeshow!!!! I'm so happy Vienna got her book, she has been one of my favorites since the beginning. Good thing Chase finally grew up and stepped up with his pack and with Vienna. Their chemistry is insane and the fact that they bicker and get at each throats sometimes makes their bond feel so much more real. Absolutely loved it! Such a killer end to the series! Well done!!!!! 👏👏👏
This is the epic conclusion of the six pack series and CJ did not disappoint! This has been my favorite in the series! I like my guys a dirty, wild, and total d*cks to everyone but their girls. Chase fit the bill perfectly, as the reformed bad boy in the group. Outstanding work! I cannot wait to read the two companion books (The Denver Alpha *Alpha Cole* and Broken Bond *Nessa and Cal*) as well as the new series Shadowed Heirs!!
Wow wow wow. This book was AMAZING. Dare I say the best in the series!?
Seriously. I was blown away with this book.
I started with not liking Chase as a character and, honestly, didn't want to give him a chance and I am so glad I did. This book has enemies to lovers, mates, protective and loyal MMC, sassy and strong FMC who doesn't have much and is struggling to get by, lots of steam and spice and very emotional. (Trauma).
Alpha Chase is a wild, emotional rollercoaster with a brooding alpha who’s all fire and fury. Chase’s big alpha energy is raw, chaotic, and magnetic—he’s grieving, guarded, and absolutely explosive when it comes to Vienna. Love Vienna!! His intensity makes the enemies-to-lovers tension sizzle, but his self-destructive streak and emotional volatility keep things messy. If you love your alphas tortured and your romance scorching, Chase brings the heat and the heartbreak
Alpha Chase Stars: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Spice 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ Probably my favorite book out of the six pack series. Spicy, action packed, sad and wholesome. I wasn’t expecting baby alpha and Vienna to be my favorite. Out of the six pack series I think Chase/Jax tie then Theo’s book, then Brock’s. Over all a great series that’s easy to read.
What an incredible end to a wild ride. I absolutely loved the six-pack series and was a bit apprehensive for Alpha Chase but had to trust C.J. would do this character justice. I absolutely loved the push and pull of Chase and Vee’s relationship. One minute I’d curse out Chase and the next I’d be cheering them on. Just when I thought each book before was my favorite this hand down was the best.
Gets 2 stars for story and characters, honestly hate how this series went from romance to dark romance and I already bought the whole series, but I guess the story was okay. Also hard to believe an abused person would act like this....but who knows. I just wanted to finish the books. I won't be buying the other ones
Ya know, I was expecting to experience much of the same stuff from the past few books but I was thankfully incorrect.
Two unhinged stubborn wolves finding solace through hate fucking? Yes, all day. Give it to me raw and wriggling. Better yet, inject it directly into my veins. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
Good not great. Loved this series, definitely my least favorite of them all but I get it. They had trauma and that's how they dealt with it. Chase bugged me and was immature which was the point but idk wish he showed more growth. Loved the series just didn't love this kne
The final book in the series and I just couldn’t put it down. CJ has a way of pulling you deep within her stories and not letting you go. I can’t wait to see what this author has installed for us next!
Don’t let the cover fool you. Though it has it’s good dose of steamy hot sex scenes it’s nonetheless a love story. You keep reading because you want to know how they end up together. I thought book #2 was my favorite of the series but rhey keep getting better.
I loved the entire series. If you haven't read them please do! Once you pick the 1st up you will not stop ! C.J you have been just added to one of my favorite authors list you rocked this! .
Loved this. The dark and twists souls who find comfort and understanding in one another after so much loss heartbreak betrayal and grief. They find family, love, and a happy ever after
I liked this series but possibly a little heavy on the sex scenes - if you've read it once or twice you don't need to read 10 times. It detracts a little from the story. Well written though.
These two have definitely become my favorite six-pack couple. This was such a wild crazy ride from beginning to end. The way they love to hate each other and make each other better is just perfect. I hate them so freaking much! 🔥🥰😉
This series was amazingly written with epic storylines that flowed through all 6 books. The author was descriptive and left you on the edge of you seat at times. Plenty of character growth and boss bitches which we all love! There needs to be more 😍🐺
I absolutely loved this book! Again I was invested and well and truly hooked after the first chapter. I loved the characters, the plot, how there were references to characters in the previous book and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. Go on have a go! 💖
This was not as amazing as the other couples, least memorable of the series I barely can remember this one even those it’s technically the one I read the most recently. I remember the ending being good hence the four stars but I also remember his annoying attitude annoyed me a lot in this one. 😂
Its not often you find a series that pulls you in like this one did. Each book was woven together perfectly. And the ending was perfection. Ive devoured these books within a week of finding the first book and its been impossible to put down!
