Devon Sinclair, the Viscount of Gower, has convinced Cam to be his fiancée, but he’s promised his father, the earl, that he’ll wait twelve months before the marriage. The earl’s health is steadily declining, though, making it doubtful he’ll still be alive at that point. Hard decisions must be made, and the earl asks serious promises of his son.
Meanwhile, the search for Cam’s aristocratic Highland ancestor finally hits pay dirt when a cache of old diaries is found. What story did they tell that caused Devon to call Cam her great-great-grandmother’s kindred spirit?
This is book three in The Highland Viscount series. It can be enjoyed independently but may offer more if read in order.

The Viscount’s Promises is the third book in the Highland Viscount series, and I would recommend reading the books in order. Cam and Devon and engaged and adjusting to the Highland life together, but Cam is still keeping a secret while trying to uncover the secrets of her ancestor. Will she be able to find joy and peace in her decision to be with her fiancé?
I enjoyed reading this book! I’ve been invested in this couple’s journey right from the very beginning, and in this history of her ancestor, and this book finally brought some closure and peace to some of the issues presented back in the first book. Cam is just unapologetically herself. She’s a strong character, opinionated, yet she has a kind heart. I loved watching as she figured out her place in the Highlands and how she could contribute to the society. Devon is a stickler for rules and I loved that when he made a promise, it was really important to him to fulfill it! It made for some interesting conflicts between Cam and Devon, and it made Devon a character with honor and integrity. I also enjoyed his dominant side and the ways he believed would keep Cam close and committed to him. They had an amazing connection, with steam and spice. I had a couple of minor issues with this book that had anticlimactic results, but all in all, I’ve really enjoyed this series, I liked this book, and I do want to read more from Ms. Hart!
I loved this whole series and I’m sad to see it end but this book has everything I hoped for these amazing fun lovable characters! As soon as I started reading this book I was already laughing the two main characters are always something else! I know this is a book but I really hope to someday have a real life guy who understands what I need especially when it comes to there really close nightly routine. I love everything about this book and if felling in love with the first two books you for sure won’t want to miss this one it’s a keeper just like the ones before it!!! :).

Cam and Devon are continuing to work towards their marriage. In the meantime, Cam finds things to keep her busy.
This is a wonderful continuation of Devon and Cam's story. I enjoy the peek into how they are progressing. I do disagree with a few times that Devon spanks Cam for disobedience because I think he is high handed about everything. But, Cam allows it, so I guess it's ok. 😉
I'm hoping this isn't the end of this story, but if it is, I look forward to the next Scottish lord who meets an American.

This is the 3rd and final book in the The Highland Viscount series and is the conclusion of Devon and Cam's story. It can be read as a standalone but you will miss their whole story. We find these two adjusting to life together as well as planning their wedding but Devon's father's illness might put a spanner in the works. What happpens next? Will they get their HEA?.
