For the first time in a long time, Siyon is completely on her own. No Mari stressing her out every chance he gets. No Jaydee at her beck and call when she wakes up in the morning. She’s finally starting to experience something that was inevitable—growth. With this newfound independence, she’s found herself out of touch with old situations and ways of life and more in touch with herself. The more Siyon changes for the better, the more she attracts attention from the wanted and the unwanted.
Jaydee finally got the closure he needed about his dark past and is now moving forward with less troubles, but there are still problems at hand that need to be dissolved. He’s coming to terms with a situation that he’s not willing to fake through anymore. He’s also coming to terms with an unsettling need for a certain someone.
Smiley can’t deny it anymore, he’s in love, and he’s willing to do anything to keep LaLa. Through it all, she’s been by his side, but when the going gets too tough, is it too late for Smiley? Has he burned every bridge she’s built just for him?
In the final part of this three-book saga, Kia Jones shows us the meaning of love in only a way she can. With each page turned, there’s a lesson to be learned. To be honest, you won’t want it to end.
I was looking forward to seeing how this was going to end but I was disappointed. There were a few grammatical error's, characters name's getting mixed up, it felt rushed, and there were also a couple of predictable scenes. It wasn't a secret that Jaydee and Blanca had nothing in common. Blanca was a narcissist. She wasn't in love with Jaydee. I wasn't surprised that Dria told Jaydee about the lie Blanca told. Siyon showed growth. From befriending Lala, to forgiving Jess for her betrayal, letting Hap bitter and messy ass slide with the drama she was on. I believe if Siyon hadn't changed. She would've beat the hell out of Hap hating ass although Hap was supposed to be her best friend. Hap was a hater. Jess was struggling with guilt and battling demons. I wasn't shocked about what happened to Jess. Guilt ate at her. You would've thought Selina trifling ass was Lala enemy instead of her sister. Selina seriously have some issues. Yaski should've kept it moving after Smiley cut her off. Instead she thought threatening Smiley to be with her was cute not knowing it only disgusted him. Lala having a good heart tried to warn Yaski although Lala shouldn't have tried to save Yaski dumb ass. I was really rooting for Smiley and Lala to work out but Smiley had issues he need to work out before he can love anyone properly.
SIyon is finally waking up to PEACE! Junior is off to college and Mya goes back and forth between her and Jaydee. Siyon is changing slowly. Still mourning Auntie, losing lots of weight a planned night with HAP does not get off to a great start. Hap is miserable, mad because SMILEY does not want her and she makes sure to have Siyon on the same level with her. Jaydee do not want her either. Siyon was seeing her friend in a different like and she did not like it. Blanca is trying to hold onto Jaydee it Dria is not having it even though she has history with Smiley. Jaydee still has feelings for Siyon but he done buried them, lol. Siyon meets Bastro at the club but of course it is interrupted when HAP sees LALA and SELINA. Fight!!! Siyon was really trying to keep the peace but Selina did too much. Bastro makes a play for Siyon but it is not the same. As Jaydee brings Mya home he finally sees Siyon again… SMILEY visits HAP , YASKI and they just keep -paying with this psycho. Between him and Jaydee the threats from yaski have sent him over the edge and HAP continues to mess with La,la. Smiley is banking on the visit with HAP and her husband things should get straight. YASKI will be another story. Blanca finally has enough and confronts Jaydee about Siyon. Jay bows out respectfully, even though she wants to put I- a fight, rightfully she knows she belongs to Dria. Blanca hates losing, priory. As Jaydee finally finds his mother and puts her in a beautiful place and he can show his children one day. As People start reuniting, some people will get left behind and Junior and Mya get their happy ending!!!!
Kia Jones, great series. Watching Jaydee, Siyon, LaLa, Smiley navigate through this thing called life made me proud and sad. Sad because Smiley needs to heal his demons but he's scared to really try. Although, he learned a great lesson, he learned his heart can love, he loves Jean. Siyon finally realized her life ment more than just all the B.S. she did at one time or another. She realized who was for her and who really didn't have her best Interest at heart. As long as she was foolish, she had an audience, as soon as she started doing better the nay sayers didn't want to be in her presence. Jaydee was the man in my opinion. He always took care of those he loved, and Siyon finally grew into the woman he needed by his side. Blanca could finally live in her truth. Jr. hopefully will get everything he needs while he's growing into the man he will become. I was so glad Jess and Siyon made up. Jess realized she did have someone in her corner that loved her for her. Great Read!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
Omg what a finale! This finale gave me all I wanted. This series was well worth all 3 parts. I'm proud of Siyon growth. Hap was a hater and she didn't deserve a friend like Siyon. I'm Siyon put her differences aside and make amends with Jess, it was sad she committed suicide, but I understood her pain she missed her mom. Jaydee was a real man to adopt his opp daughter bcuz Mya didn't have a father in her life anymore. Smiley didn't realize what he had until it was gone, he really didn't deserve LaLa bcuz they both was on two different pages in life. Junior was too much.🤣I felt bad for LaLa with her misconception issues, I'm glad she left Smiley and decided to work on herself. Selina was just a miserable person just like Hap. Yaski was coo coo for cocoa puffs. Jess told Siyon exactly what she needed to hear, let Hap go bcuz she will never change. I knew Siyon was pregnant and I'm happy her and Jaydee got a second chance at love and doing it right this time. Great and happy Ending!
This was best book out of the series. Granted the series could have ended after part 2, but since part 3 was written I figured that I would read it and not leave the series unread. I do believe that the author could work on developing the relationships more. The only one that didn't seem weird and forced was Jaydee's. I liked Siyons character development from book 1, that was real growth. I'm not sure what made Smiley change his mind in the end bc there wasn't really much thought or any signs even that he wanted to do something different. That and the ending were really kind of abrupt. All in all, decent series and I plan to read more from this author.
Siyon went thru so much pain and tragedy and in her life losing her Aunt and her cousin Jessica killing herself she was sad and depressed. Jaydee and Siyon were expecting a baby they ended up working out their problems. La la and Smiley ended up not working out she wanted a baby he wasn't ready yet. Hopefully they will find their way back to each other. Jean and Smiley became close and was bonding well. Yasakia was controlling and turning to turn everybody life upside down so she can Smiley end up get her killed. I would like a spin-off about Smiley and La la and even Jean. And Junior and Mya who grew up see how they life turned out.
I enjoyed this book and series. This is my 1st novel by the author. I love how Jaydee was, a real stand up guy. He loved his son Junior so much. It was great how he loved Mya as his own. I loved their relationship. I'm nor sure he should have gotten back with Siyon after all she put him through and her behavior. I love Auntie, she kept it real. I hate Mari's actions. Glad Jess was able to repair her relationship with Siyon. I loved Smiley. He took pride in his relationship with his son Jean. Hate him and Lala couldn't get it together. Maybe in the future.
I loved this series..... The ending not so much it's the only reason I gave it four stars. Smiley's ending made no sense and Siyons's ending with Jess seemed too quick .... It was like ... She was too depressed to live the end...... Like WTF... I hope that they continue Smiley's story in another book with him finding love. I hope LaLa finds love and gets her baby too.
Loved the growth! Poor Siyon just couldn't catch a break but I am happy something positive came from all the tragedies she went through. Still love Jaycee & Smiley. Yaski was annoying. Everything else I liked. Good story. Kept me reeled in. Kia Jones never disappoints. If she writes it Imma read it! And that's just that on that!
This book was amazing, Kia I loved how you expressed pain, love and forgiveness. Family is everything too bad Jess didn’t understand it until it was too late. JD was a stand up guy and he was the epitome of forgiveness. LaLa listened and learned but I didn’t like her ending so I need a LaLa and her gut story
To be honest, everything played out as it should, and I would recommend this series. The series was fast-paced! Siyon finally matured, and Jaydee was right there. I was hoping for Lala and Smiley, but things happen for a reason! I enjoyed how the kids played a role throughout the story!
The way theses characters obsessed over an infatuated is scary. They way they let sex rule them was crazy to me. But it was the challenge to change that made me think about how anyone could change in the right environment. But they have to be willing wanting a different way of doing and living.
Wow that ending I didn't see coming the ending of relationship's and the beginning of friend ship's was the best ,then losing Jess was alot and her cousin showed her unconditional love and made a difference for them!!
I loved the series I was expecting more from the ending hopefully that mean we can possibly get a updated or the kids will get a book. I’m happy Siyon got her man back because Blanca wasn’t it.
To Be Honest: A Hood Millionaire Romance: The Finale
Kia this was a great ending to this 3 book series. I hate that Jess didn’t make it but I understood why she felt the need to go. Hope you have a update on these characters though
The book was good, but I wish that their was a better ending for LaLa. Smiley really played with her heart and strung her along. He should have left her alone when changed her number and left him. I’m glad Siyon changed her ways and Jayden gave her another chance.
You did a awesome job with this series Kia, I feel bad that Jess couldn't get it together I think she wanted to be with her mother 😔. Now that Yaski was bat sh!t crazy. I wish that Smiley would have found love.
Good for that crazy lady! She just did not know when to quit. She was a whole nut. Poor Jess, could not handle the pressure. Jayden was stupid, I would have never took her back for nothing in the world.
This whole series was irritating? This was supposed to be a romance I guess but went completelyyyy left, i gave it an extra star because jaydee and siyon got back together but that was it. The ending was also very very rushed. *Same review for whole series*
Great read Kia Jones awesome job with this 3 part series. Jaydee was truly a real one. Smiley just couldn't be held down. Siyon really took alot of lost in this series. Loved it from start to finish.
I was very sad to see two who loved not be together the words they spoke were honest an true but still made me sad to read loved the rejoing of love that waz amazing all in all I really enjoyed the series thank you kindly
After reading this series I am super emotional. From the beginning to the end the entire storyline and storytelling was absolutely remarkable. I laughed, cried, cussed, fussed and some more stuff.... I recommend this series and any other writings by this author.....
This series was the best. I never suspected the ending. All of the books led up to this finale. Poor Siyon lost so much but gained at the end. Good job.
I can say that I had a feeling it was going to end like this. Although in part 2 I wanted Jaydee to find someone else I’m glad it worked out for him and Siyon.
This book shows how communicating and being honest is a must. The journey of Jaydee and Siyon was worth the ride. This is a new to me author and I am now a fan.
Very great books! I enjoyed all three. Its sad to say mental illness is a big thing but even bigger in women.i aspire to write and release my books next year!
Nothing is what it is in the three books it goes through a lot of relationship changes. Kia you are an author that truly goes indef with your characters
Per usual my girl slayed this book. The character growth in these characters was amazing. One of your best series yet! And where can I find me a jaydee? 🥴🤣🤣
