Effie Kammenou believes it's never too late to chase your dreams, follow your heart, or change your career. She is proof of that. At one time, long ago, she'd dreamed of a successful career as an actor. Instead, she worked in the optical field for over forty years while raising her two daughters. In 2015, three years after her mother died from pancreatic cancer, she published her debut novel, Evanthia's Gift, the first book in a women's fiction, multigenerational love story and family saga inspired by her mother and her Greek heritage. Kammenou continued to pick her father's brain for stories of his family's life in Lesvos, Greece, and their journey to America until his recent death in November 2022 at the age of 100. Her interview with him was published in the nationally circulated magazine Reminisce. Evanthia's Gift: Book One in The Gift Saga was a 2016 finalist in the Readers Favorite Book Awards. Book two, Waiting for Aegina, was awarded finalist status in the 2019 International Book Awards. Chasing Petalouthes, the last book in the trilogy, also placed in the Readers Favorite Book Awards in 2018. Love is Worth Fighting For won silver, second place for contemporary romance in The Readers Favorite Book Awards, and most recently won first place in the BookFest Awards. Kammenou's latest series is The Meraki Series. Love is What You Bake of it, Love by Design, and Love is Worth Fighting For are available in print and Kindle formats. Book four, Love in Plain Sight, will finish the series. Each book focuses on a sibling and their quest for love and professional success despite a sometimes stifling and meddling family. A mystery shadowed by a historical event in recent Greek history is slowly uncovered throughout the series. As a bonus, each book contains the traditional Greek recipes featured throughout the novels, many of which were passed down from her Athenian mother. Kammenou’s latest novel, The Magic of Robola, a captivating second-chance romance that unfolds across dual timelines, is set to release January 30, 2026. This story weaves poignant moments with swoon-worthy scenes through a forced proximity scenario that pulls at the heartstrings.

I enjoyed reading this cute romance story. This is the third book in this series which is just as enjoyable as the previous two. I highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enhancement of this series and this author’s writing skills. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters. They are strong, engaging, supportive characters that bring the story to life. They had me coming back for more. This is a fast paced story that was hard to put down. A story about Krystina and her quest that will test everything in her. Will she learn that it is okay to fight for what you want? I enjoyed her growth as well as the plot throughout the story. This is a great story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.
This is book number 3 in the Meraki Series and features Krystina's story. I loved the first 2 books so was really looking forward to this one.
Krystina and Loukas have grown up together as best friends turned frenemies. He has been in love with her all his life but she is not interested, or is she?
The book takes place during the covid pandemic which may upset some readers. As well as Krystina and Loukas we also have the characters from the first 2 books involved. The storyline with the grandfather is also continued in the book and I loved the way the stories are intertwined. I still think Yiayia is amazing.
The author writes beautifully, her characters are all relatable and her recipes, sprinkled throughout the book, are a lovely touch. This is a lovely read with humour, happiness and sadness which I would highly recommend. I am now eagerly awaiting the next installment.
“A hundred hearts would be too few to carry all my love for you”-Henry Wadsworth Thank you @LoveBookTours and @effiekammenou_author for this copy of Love is Worth Fighting For. Love is Worth Fighting For is the third book in The Meraki Series, even though I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, it reads like a standalone. This book is about a friends-to-enemies-to-lovers romance, with no shortage of its fair share of family drama. I enjoyed how independent Krystina was, how she had dreams and wanted to conquer the world, love her family but always made time for Loukas, even though she loathed him. Loukas was so sweet and kind even though he had been put through the ringer and had his own fair share of family drama. I enjoyed reading about how these characters grew up in a world with a pandemic while realizing that in the end all they need was their family and each other. I loved all the characters and would love a novella or even a full story from the grandparent’s point of view. The thing that I loved most about this book is that it took place in real time during the Covid pandemic, and you experienced what the characters were going through while just trying to survive their everyday life. I enjoyed that the author included recipes from the characters Greek family. This book really put it in to perspective to cherish your family and make as many memories with them as you can. Tw: Alcoholism, War Scenes, Death/loss of a loved one, Covid related issues, abuse from a family member.
All Krystina wants to do is travel the world and be a famous blogger but when her Loukas her childhood nemesis decides to go along with her, as she goes through, she has no breathing room as he is constantly with her all the time. When they discover challenges long the way the most unlikely person helps her through Loukas.
So, when Krystina takes on the challenge to find her grandfather will they uncover the secrets of the past and locate the lost family member or will they be dragged into problems they never envisioned.
This is the third book in the series and follows the third sister Krystina, although this can be read as a standalone story it would be good to have some of the crossover from the first two books as back story but is not necessary. As always, the story is well written and with the twists and turns in the story will keep you turning the pages to the end.
I loved the character of Krystina in the other stories, and I think Loukas is the right character to compliment Krystina although at first, she does not think so. The emotion and the turmoil in the story follow brilliantly and you feel the journey as if you are there with the character along the way. It is lovely how the relationship is a slow burn and that the reaction of finally realising that they are destined for each other is lovely to read.
Love is Worth Fighting For is the third book in The Meraki series by Effie Kammenou. It is a contemporary romance with a ‘frenemies-to-lovers’ element, finding love unexpectedly, a bit of a quest, challenges/unforeseen difficulties, faith, history, connection, banter, family dynamics, drama, angst, and endearing characters. This is Krystina’s story, whom we met in the previous books as she is Kally (Book #1) and Mia’s (Book #2) sister. She had an idea of what she wanted to achieve in her life, but fate seems to have had other ideas. Havin her annoying childhood frenemy around only adds to her frustration. But she begins to see him in another light when unexpected challenges arise and he steps up- helping her through it all. Soon feelings get involved…. and you’ll have to read the story if you want to find out what happens with Krystina and Loukas. The story could be read as a standalone, but as there are recurring characters as well as a bridging subplot that makes this book/series even more intriguing I highly recommend reading the previous two books before starting on this one. Happy Reading!
I have loved the Meraki series, this - the third in that series, is no exception. Loukas and Krystina have been major characters in the books so far and so to see more of their back story and see their adult lives begin was great. It was really interesting seeing the story evolve with the onset of Covid in 2020, a lot of novels are glancing over it but the author made it clear how much of an impact this had on lives and businesses. It was a really emotional time and I found myself crying for and with Yiayia on multiple occasions! We got the outcome of Panos' story which has been building from the first book and that was another emotional rollercoaster. The author has a beautiful writing style and draws you into her characters lives. I have said it before and I will say it again, can Yiayia please adopt me! Roll on book 4 - I think it might be the best yet!
I absolutely loved this book! It's the third in the Meraki series and I haven't read the others, but I thought it worked perfectly well as a standalone.
It was beautifully written and made me laugh (Yiayia is hilarious! 🤣) and cry (Panos 😭). I thought the quotes and recipes were an excellent addition too.
I loved the cute relationship developing between Krystina and Loukas and was rooting for them the very beginning.
I'd definitely like to read the previous books and I'm also looking forward to the next installment which focuses on Theo's story.
If you like a good romance you should definitely check this out!
If I had to choose one word to describe this book it would be ‘angsty’. If you are me, that’s a good thing. As much as I’d love to have smacked Loukas and Krystina in the head many times, you can’t beat a good angsty book. This is the third book in this great series and having read the first two, I was really looking forward to reading Loukas and Krystina’s story. I had many emotions reading this book. I laughed, I cried, I was exasperated but mainly, I cried. Much of the story is set during the early days of the covid pandemic, a time when I lost my dad to covid, so as much as I loved this book, I did struggle through this part but that is nothing to do with the author’s great story and great writing. That’s totally on me. I absolutely adored Loukas. So many times I wanted to give him a huge hug and tell him it would be alright. Krystina is the character that exasperated me but that’s what made it such a good read. The author has done an amazing job in creating these characters. I also loved that we got to see more of the characters from previous books and see how their lives are progressing. 100% recommend this book.
In the third book of the installment Effie has managed to once again write a complete winner! Each character is so carefully brought to life and readers are sucked in from the beginning and it makes it impossible to put the book down. I love how detailed the writing is and how the story comes to life right off the pages! Effies has yet to let her readers down!
Love is Worth Fighting For is the third book in the Meraki series, having not read the two previous books myself I feel this can be read as a standalone. Although as there are recurring characters it would be better to read the other books first.
I really enjoyed book. I loved Krystina and Loukas and their friend/foe relationship.
I also loved the recipes included throughout the book these were a great addition.
I will definitely be reading the previous two books in the series and I look forward to the fourth instalment to hear Theo’s story.
If you love a good romance then I definitely recommend this book.
Thank you to Love Book Tours for having me on the tour and for my gifted copy of the book.
This is my first read in the Meraki series and I enjoyed it. Friendship, family, and faith were big factors within this story. The sisters themselves showed great family dynamic and how strong a family bond can be. Our MFC Krystina was a free spirit with dreams of traveling the world. When tragedy strikes her dreams to travel for leisure instead become travels for unanswered questions. By her side is a childhood friend/foe named Loukas. He is determined to be her rock and to prove how he truly feels. Together they experience love, loss, anger, and the road to happiness

Love is Worth Fighting for is a contemporary romance and the third instalment of The Meraki Series. This one will bring out all the feels and tissues will be needed.
This heart-breaking beautiful tale is about Krystina the youngest sister of the Andarakas family and Loukas story. It is entertaining and heart-warming with interesting characters and some beautiful settings. I love Effie’s characters they are real and raw and the ones that really make this frenemy to lovers' story pop.
It is now Krystina’s turn to try to uncover just what happened to her grandfather and it will take everything she has to get through it but she does learn one vital thing along the way.
I highly recommend Love is Worth Fighting for; for lovers of romance stories.

Krystina and Loukas have known each other for their whole lives. At one point they were best friends and inseparable, that is until the other boys continues Loukas to do some things that in Krystina’s mind we’re unforgivable.
Krystina wants to be famous. What girl these days doesn’t want to travel and dreams of being a famous blogger on Instagram? But, as usual, Loukas is always there. All she wants is for him to leave her alone so she can breathe and do her own thing.
When situations arise and Krystina is stuck trying to manage it all, Loukas is there to help her through it all. Add on to that the search her family has been doing for her missing grandfather, and things start to get a little intense. Krystina and her sisters are determined to find and bring home this man even in the midst of hard times. This determination will test everything Krystina has and may help her learn that no matter what, love is worth the fight.
This was an entertaining read. I didn’t read much about the description prior to starting it, so I didn’t realize it took place during the pandemic and closures. I feel like the pandemic side of it was well done and realistically portrayed in most ways, although the timeline bouncing got me a little confused at times.
At times, the timeline felt jumbled to me when discussing present day events vs events happening that felt like they would have been in present day but were labeled differently (ex: one chapter would be present day in June, then suddenly it’s thanksgiving 2020, but the story continues into December). I enjoyed falling back in time with Kalliope and Panos so the dates on the timeline are definitely important to follow along with.
While it can be read as a standalone in the series, I feel that if I had read the first two books I would have been able to understand a little more in some parts. I found myself lost and unsure on several occasions and feel that the first part of the series may have helped with that confusion.
I loved that there are recipes found throughout some of the chapters because I enjoy food and plan to come back and try some of them!
Overall, I liked reading this book and would be will to try more from this author. However, definitely plan to read any series from her in order.
Krystina and Loukas were friends when they were younger until Loukas made a big mistake which caused them to drift apart. Now 18 years old Krystina is a social media influencer and blogger wishing she was visiting beautiful locations. Loukas is still her arch nemesis but what Krystina doesn’t realise is that he likes her more than a friend but doesn’t know how to show it. As Krystina and Loukas start to spend more time with each other will Krystina realise how Loukas feels about her and is the feeling mutual. When Krystina and Loukas travel to Athens with Krystina’s siblings to find out what happened to their grandfather will the mystery surrounding his disappearance finally be resolved.
This is the third book in the Meraki series. It’s a series I have truly come to love and I have become very fond of the Andarakis family. This book features the story of one of the younger siblings Krystina who was featured as a secondary character in the first and second book. I loved the storyline between Krystina and Loukas about how they grew up together but then grew apart. They have this love/hate relationship which they can never seem to get past but the only person that can see there’s more to that is Krystina’s grandmother. She sees in their relationship glimpses of her past and how she met her husband. So I adored how history was repeating itself and being played out in the next generation between her granddaughter and Loukas. The chemistry between Krystina and Loukas was clear from the outset. At times despite Krystina acting aloof as to how she feels about Loukas, her feelings are evident in her actions because when something happens she is there to comfort him or be there for him when he needs someone. I really enjoyed finding out more about the grandfather, what happened to him and finally being introduced to him in more detail.
The Meraki series has become a series I look forward to reading because it has so many elements. There’s family drama in that you have a family who is disconnected from the grandfather and they don’t know what happened to him or why he isn’t part of their lives. There’s a little bit of mystery surrounding the same and a sprinkle of romance. Each book can be read as a standalone but they are all connected as each book is about one of the Andarakis children, with an underlying storyline of family history and what happened to their grandfather. At the same time the love story of their grandparents are intertwined between all of the books. At the end there was a sneak peak of the next book which is going to be about Theo and from what I’ve read I can tell already it’s going to be a favourite.
If you like frenemies to lovers then you’ll love this book.
A story about fighting to be with the one you want and the strains that can pull you apart.
A dual-generational story. More New Adult than YA. Contemporary romance with real life influence from the COVID pandemic.
This novel lives up to the contemporary romance name with a large chunk of it having the characters face the ramifications of the Covid-19 pandemic and how their lives were impacted by the shut down in the United States. If you’re looking for a novel which will help you to escape this may not be the one for you, but while it does deal with very tense subjects the novel was very well done and kept me engaged, reading on to find out what happened with Krystina and Loukas. This novel is also very much a will they/won’t they romance.
I can’t say that I loved Krystina’s character, but I can empathize with her and the desire to protect herself from the hurt Loukas had previously caused. I did enjoy that Loukas was willing to go all in with Krystina and kept fighting to show her he cared, but I found some of the ways he mentally manipulated her to be juvenile and deceitful. Despite that feeling though I do think it was fairly realistic of the things people will do in life in order to get attention. I did like how Krystina also wanted to help those around her to be and stay happy, and was an amazing friend to non-familial side characters Egypt and Chynna. I do wish we got to see more of Loukas training and wanting to fight in the beginning of the book.
I rather enjoyed the flash back scenes to Kalliope and Panos’s courting, relationship, and their forced separation. This allowed for a more detailed depiction of the background of the grandparent’s and how that influenced Krystina and her siblings.
I had not read the other two books in the series but I found that I could follow along pretty well. The author was good about describing the impact of the things mentioned which seemed like it had occurred in the previous books. It’s also a way to get the reader on the hook and get them to want to go back and read the others.
CW: Prisoner of war description, war disfigurement, COVID forced quarantining and sickness, organized fighting and mixed martial arts (MMA).
Have you ever read a book and wished you could smack some sense into the characters? That's how I feel about this one! I've been anxiously awaiting this story about Krystina and Loukas as they've been mentioned many times in the first two books of this series. There is so much chemistry between them but neither want to really acknowledge it to the other for fear of ruining their friendship. Loukas has grown up next to Krystina and they have been friends since birth. Their mothers were best friends before the unfortunate passing of Loukas's mother.
All Krystina wants to do is travel and take pictures....and stay as far away from Loukas as possible. However, he's going through a lot right now and really needs a friend. Krystina has always been that friend but she wants nothing more than that.
Nicholas, who is Krystina's soon-to-be brother-in-law, arranges a trip to Greece for the siblings. It's time for them to see if Panos will have anything to do with them. Hopefully he'll come home to his beloved, Yiayia and all will be right with the world.
The dreaded lockdown of 2020 happens and Krystina and Loukas find themselves in the house with just Yiayia. The rest of the family was in Loukas's house after finding out that Yiayia, Krystina, and Loukas have all tested positive for the virus. Krystina and Loukas see to Yiayia as her health starts declining rapidly, but are they starting to see each other in a different light too?
This book was the most emotional of this series by far!! I was frustrated with Krystina and Loukas and their teenage antics, and I was trying to get an understanding of decisions made by Panos. The mystery finally comes to an end but it was not one that expected at all.
I'm excited to read book 4 and learn more about what Theo has been up to. I'm sure it will be just as entertaining as the rest of the family!
Firstly, thank you Love Book Tours and Effie Kammenou for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This time we get to journey with Krystina, the youngest sister of the Andarakas family as she finds love in the last place she could imagine.
Kristina's career is important to her, she wants to travel, blog and be insta famous, all is going to plan, well, all except her frenemy Loukas is required to tag along. Loukas is annoying and he frustrates her to no end, but Loukas' feelings couldn't be any different, secretly loving Krystina despite her feelings for him. The book is set right at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic and both Krystina and Loukas get Covid resulting in them needing to isolate together, this provides Krystina an insight into who Loukas really is and she begins to see him in a different light and develop feelings of her own.
The development of the relationship between Krystina and Loukas can be a little slow and frustrating at times knowing how Loukas feels despite Krystina's outright displeasure at his company but overall, the story is well written, it engages the readers and keeps you coming back for more from page 1. The locations mentioned in the book are beautifully written making them easy to picture, and I may need to convince my husband we need another trip to Greece after finishing this book. The book is a frenemies to lovers' story and is perfect for lovers of contemporary romance, it can be read as a standalone and won't leave readers confused, however, there is the overarching story of the mysterious disappearance of the grandfather that readers won't want to miss, especially as another piece of the puzzle is slotted into place in this book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Krystina Meraki is the youngest sister of three and this is her story, she is in her late teens and obsessed with her Instagram and blog about travelling the locale where she lives in the USA, however, her dream is for that to become a hit and increase her already large following so that she can travel the world and see all the exotic places she wants to. Loukas is the same age as Krystina and lives next door, but since he messed up their close friendship years ago, she doesn’t see him as anything more than a pain who won’t leave her alone and this isn’t helped by the fact that he spends a lot of time with her family too.
The other thing Krystina wants to be able to do is finish what her sisters started and bring their grandfather home so that her grandmother can be truly happy again, but that is easier said than done when he lives so far away, but Krystina is determined and when the chance to do just that falls into her lap, she gives it all she has to try and convince him. Meanwhile, circumstances take a turn for the worse and external challenges interfere with all her plans, not to mention that Loukas is still following her around like a lost puppy and that is irritating her to no end, however, as she faces the challenges all around her, Krystina comes to realise that it is Loukas of all people who is helping her deal with it all.
This is another romantic adventure where a quest to bring family back into the fold faces impossible hurdles and where frenemies have to relearn how to work together to face an uncertain present, while reuniting a past. This is an unpredictable story where twists and turns throw you off until the path to the end is revealed.
I was looking forward to reading this novel having enjoyed the previous books in the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well. As usual I was fully immersed in the novel, thanks to the wonderfully written storyline and likeable and realistic characters. This is Krystina and frenemy from childhood, Loukas’s story, and I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. The descriptive narrative brought the settings vividly to life and I felt engaged with the characters, making this a real page turner of a novel, and one which I could not put down. Krystina wants to travel to beautiful locations, promote her blog, and hopefully achieve Insta fame, but unfortunately with Loukas in tow she feels like she can’t breathe. However, when unforeseen circumstances occur, resulting in Krystina having to face challenging situations, it’s Loukas that helps her get through it. The mystery element of the plot had me intrigued, as Krystina‘s grandfather is missing, but her grandmother believes he will return one day. Krystina becomes determined to find him and bring him home to her grandmother, but her quest will test everything she knows. This was a heartwarming and at times heartbreaking story, which kept me happily turning the pages. Will Krystina learn that ‘love is worth fighting for’, I definitely recommend that you pick up this book to find out!
I really enjoyed this for the writing style. The author makes me feel the emotion of the character plights and the sense of family through the Greekness including the finalization of the grandpa story.
I just struggled falling into the purish love that Loukas has for Krystina. Being only eighteen their forever love just struck me as too young. Maybe if they were in their twenties and lived some life first that would be more believable.
As for the characters themselves Loukas family drama felt real as is his frustrations with what to do for himself. At times he seemed much older than eighteen( fixing up the house, drywall etc) and other times very much the teenager he is. Krystina seemed very much the teenager she is. We do get finished stories for a lot of other characters that are not family.
I was not a huge fan of the back and forth between time for the two main characters. It just seemed to take away maybe if it was told at the beginning then fell into their story it would have meshed better for me. The back in time for the grandparents was okay and fit fine.
I do like that it was written and had the same issues as current times. (Covid) Overall I live this whole family but honestly feel if the main character ls were even a bit older by the end of the book I could have liked this better.
I ADORED this book. I was swept into the family right from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until I finished. It is well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters that I loved. The plot is peppered with the frenenemies to lovers trope and the miscommunication trope whether it is Krystina and Loukas, Egypt and Leo or Kalliope or Panos, none of them were very good at communicating and that added a level of drama that I loved about this book and I was literally rooting for every single one of them. There are some triggering topics in this book such as death of parents and covid as this book was set before and during the pandemic, however, I felt that this was done very sensitively and empathetically by the author. I also felt that this part during the pandemic was written very well and instantly captured the fear and anxiety that everyone was feeling as well as the frustration at having to isolate for so long, and the angst of not being able to visit relatives that were sick and possibly having to say goodby over a video call or phone call. I loved everything about this book and I took the family and its unoffical members to my heart and I cannot wait for the next installment.
Love is Worth Fighting for (The Meraki Series Book 3)
I loved this book though it did trigger me a bit with Covid and hospitalization during that time. I was admitted for 9 days for something thankfully not Covid in May of 2020, my only company was the hospital staff during that time. I know how lonely and afraid I felt at times, couldn't imagine not being able to say goodbye to a loved one.
Loukas and Krystina have known each other their entire lives and have had their ups and downs during those years but a global pandemic changes everything for them. They certainly deal with a lot in this book and I shed several tears all the way through.
Loukas makes me want to hug him for so many reasons. His family and how lost he feels at times really brings out the Mama bear in me.
Krystina's fire and determination were great with a touch of frustrating at times. She like all of the other members of her family are very passionate and feels everything with her heart.
I really want to be adopted by this amazing family. The pride in their Greek heritage and how important family is and it doesn't matter if they are blood or not. The recipes shared are an added bonus for sure.
Most of you will know by now that love stories are not my thing but that doesn’t mean I disregard them altogether. I know a well written and emotionally driven story when I read one and this book was just that. I haven’t read the previous two books in the series and I think it probably would have benefited me if I had but in the grand scheme of things I didn’t feel that it affected my enjoyment of this book.
Krystina is a very ambitious and confident character whose dream is to travel, promote her blog, and achieve Instagram fame, however with Loukas tagging alone and smothering her, she feels like she is being dragged down. But when unforeseen circumstances occur, Krystina is left shocked and distressed with the situations she is faced with. Luckily, Loukas is there to help her through it all.
The beautifully descriptive writing style transported me into the lives of the characters and got my imagination going. I was invested in the characters and the plot, particularly the circumstances surrounding her grandfather!
Overall, this is a great romance/ mystery read which I thoroughly enjoyed! I might even pick up the first two books!
A solid 4 stars!

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review by Love Books Tours, views and opinions are my own and have not been influenced by anyone. @lovebookstours
When I started this story I had not read the previous 2 books and I was worried it would make it hard to follow along with the storyline of this book, but I thought the author did a great job of touching on information from previous books with just enough information I didn’t feel confused, but not so much information that I felt like it would be pointless to check them out. After reading this story, I fully intend to read the first 2 books to see Krystina’s older sisters’ stories. This was such a great book; I loved reading about Krystina and Loukas’s relationship and the history behind her hurt and his guilt. I loved how the author would give the different characters the POV and we got to go back to the past and see her grandmother’s relationship begin with her now missing grandfather. The author did a great job of describing the panic and uncertainty when the pandemic hit and how families and businesses had to navigate through it. Overall it was a great story that made me laugh and cry. I can’t wait to read the first 2 books and the 4th book by the author.
Let me just start off by saying this series was absolutely wonderful. I loved everything about them. Love is Worth Fighting for is the 3rd book in the Meraki Series. This story follows couple Krystina and Loukas. I've been dying to know their story since book one. I could tell there had to be something there with all the back and forth between them in the 1st 2 books and boy was I right. Their story is officially my favorite so far in this series. I loved being able to see how their relationship started, how things went sideway and how they came full circle back to each other. I also really enjoyed getting closure to yiayia and Panos' love story. Just like books 1 & 2 I enjoyed that the author continued to add the little extras at the end of some of the chapters. I enjoyed being able to see into the minds of the characters that went back in time. I also thought it was really neat that the author chose to place this story in our time and have the characters go through what we were going through with Covid and how it was affecting our lives. The author did a phenomenal job telling the stories of each of these characters relationships and I can't wait to read the next book in the series and see who's love story will be told in that one.

I never tire of this wonderful author or the books that they create! I love the characters that they create and how the story blossoms and truly comes to life! Honestly this author never does disappoint, and I am always captivated, and I fall in love with the characters every single time!
Krystina and Loukas were two very different, yet very much the same characters. I loved them as separate people and I loved them as a whole! They both brought interesting aspects to the table, and I fell in love with their relationship they had blooming between them. Outside their relationship, the story was really heart felt which I loved! I was very emotionally in deep with this book! Loved it!
Amazing writing as always from a wonderful author! I loved this book especially for all it was. Highly recommend this book, it’s a must read for sure! And for sure recommend this author as well!
I absolutely love this series and this book was a wonderful addition to it. As always this author 100% transports me to wherever her stories are set with her beautiful descriptive language. Having previously met the main character in the first two books it was really nice to finally read Krystina’s story. I do like a frenemy to lovers story and this one is probably one of my favourites that I have read and actually one of my favourites from this author. The author really brought to life the feelings between the two main characters, especially Krystina. I liked the angst, the emotions, the relationship between Krystina and Loukas and also the relationship between Krystina and her sisters Mia and Kally. This really was a lovely story to read, although the third in the series it could easily be read as a standalone however having read the previous two I would also highly recommend them also! As always I look forward to read more from this author again in the future.
