Let me start by saying that the only reason these two idiots split up in the first place is because Rohan couldn't stick around for even another hour to have a discussion with Mars. The assumption Rohan makes is idiotic, and he's supposed to be the "experienced adult" in this situation. Ridiculous.
Luckily for them, fate is kind in this universe, and 5 years later they find each other again by accident. Does Rohan learn anything the second time around? No. He continues to dismiss Mars' opinion and make assumptions.
I quickly gathered that this book and the one prior to it were telling parallel stories, because there were so many mentions of Mars' friend David, his absurd new relationship with the alpha, his unexpected pregnancy and his discovery of shifters. This structure constantly gave me the impression that I had accidentally skipped forward by a chapter, or had been missing pages. I thought I was losing it.
Even some seemingly relevant plot points for this book were just skipped. Like the threatening note Mars receives when his phone is stolen and returned? We never got to read the note??
There were way too many plot threads happening in this. I think it's because the author wants the entire series to be connected by the same underlying plot, but I just found it was all underdeveloped and rushed.
The age gap turned out to be completely irrelevant in spite of how many times it was brought up, as did Rohan hiding the fact that he'd mated with Mars from the pack alpha. So much drama for nothing.
This book really got on my nerves. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I finished it is because I was on a long flight and was running on about 3 hours sleep so I needed something really easy to focus on. But finish it I did, and it annoyed but didn't offend, so I'm going with 2 stars.

Rohan Rekindled is book three in the Darlington Pack series and is a welcome addition. It is concerned with Rohan, the doctor for the pack and his fated mate, Mars, a professional basketball player. Both these characters appear in Atlas’ Accident and book three ties up a lot of the loose ends as well as generating a few of its own as any good series does. This is a good read on the whole and not too sporty by any means. There are quite a few games covered briefly but that is subsidiary to the main story. This is the story of how Mars comes to terms with the revelation that the love of his life not only deserted him but is also a wolf shifter. He also has to come to terms with the fact that he needs all the help he can get to recover from an injury and continue in his career. This is his journey to understanding what is important in life.
It is also a bit of a journey for Rohan who has to learn to face up to the decisions he makes in life. He has to accept that he can be somewhat irresponsible and not share enough with others around him. The focus of the story is fairly broad as it takes in quite a few of the other members of the Darlington pack and how they all interact. I’ve not read book one yet but those I’ve read can stand on their own as you do get enough information about previous / concurrent episodes so you are not confused.
The mpreg is fairly central to the series as are all the pups running around but there are moments of excitement, danger and darkness to balance all the sweetness. In this part a secret organisation investigating pack members comes to the pack’s attention and that is going to be something to look out for in future parts.

Rohan is at least 10 years older than Red, so at least 45. Mars is late 20s (like 27 or 28). They had a relationship back in Mars’s senior year of high school but broke up. Rohan is a small town doctor and Mars is a professional basketball player.
I liked that Mars was a basket ball player. You almost never get sporty omegas in things, and if you do they’re segregated into their own teams or harassed in the “regular” teams, which I get way too much of with minority groups in real life thanks. So I live Mars was just a good basket ball player regardless of anything else. I’m never a big fan of teacher/student (even when I think I want to be), though that wasn’t too bad here since it was in the past. As usual I did struggle with the combo of age gap and teacher student as well as Rohan having all of the majority statuses.
My main struggle was that this book mostly ran parallel to the last one, and since I just read the last one it felt like almost a straight up repeat at times. I’m not sure the two books were different enough for me. I ended up skimming multiple parts that I’d already read in the last book, and it was parallel enough that I never felt lost after skimming several chapters.
Not bad but definitely not my favorite. I think a lot of it is my own preferences and this book just didn’t match up. But if you love age/power gaps, teacher/student, and the same scenes from different POVs, you’ll adore this book. I think I was just the wrong person for it, which happens.

I'M LOVING THIS PACK!!
DARLINGTON PACK SERIES BOOK #3 is just what I hoped for!! This is the long history between Rohan the packs Alpha Doctor and Mars a famous Omega Basketball player. This is a second chance age gap Mpreg book. Fated Mates, Shifter genetics and lots of babies. This is a beautiful addition. DYLAN REECE is a MAGNIFICENT writer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE DARLINGTON PACK SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

Rohan and Mars' story tore at my heart
Seeing Rohan and what a lonely figure he cut in the three previous Darlington Pack books made me long for him to get his own book and see him happy. When Mars was introduced in Atlas's Accident, I took to him straight away and seeing him meeting Rohan, it was obvious that they had history and then the last chapter and the epilogue just made me need their story yesterday.
Rohan had no choice and had to leave Mars five years earlier but he had suffered greatly in those years apart, physically hurting and aching for his fated mate. The pull between them didn't get any less strong or any easier to bear but he could take comfort in the fact that he had done it for Mars and his dream of being a pro basketball star.
Mars didn't know why Rohan had left him and was bereft, feeling as though a part of him was missing while pining for his fated mate. He was living his basketball dream and that was the only thing that made life bearable.
Meeting after five years made everything better and worse, because both had careers and responsibilities and the Pack's problems with their neighbours made Rohan leaving Darlington or Mars staying impossible. A lot of the book saw them going to and fro, second-guessing their actions and decisions, and I felt for them. There was no easy answer for them, with everything that was happening to them, and seeing them so happy together and so lonely apart was as torturous for them as it was for me.
Thankfully, Dylan gave me the happy ending I needed and a very decent start to their longed-for family. You'll love the family, trust me!
Seeing Leo and his girls a lot just made me need his story even more but realising from events in the book who is destined for him, I think Dylan's got a mountain to climb to get the two of them to their HEA, all things considered with Leo's situation and what we know about his fated mate. It'll be a great story, I'm sure, and then I need Grey's book because I know exactly who I want him to be with and the hints in this book lead me to believe I'm going to be very happy *smug grin*!

This series is a true gem.
I've read and adored every single one of these books (although Red and Shayne's book is still my favourite), and this one is no exception.
I admit I wasn't sure what to expect, since I'm not a big fan of student/professor pairings, but actually it didn't bother me too much this time: I was worried we'd get a ton of flashbacks to Rohan and Mars' collage days, but in reality the book is set on a single, present-day, timeline.
"Rohan Rekindled" has some of my absolute favourite tropes: age-gap, forbidden relationship, lots and lots of pining, a second-chance relationship that absolutely gutted me, a delicious alpha/omega pairing with lots of possessiveness, love and Dylan Reece's usual nod to a touch of breeding kink, plus a found family in small-town Darlington that left me sobbing because ugh, they all love each other so much.
Rohan and Mars were wonderful MCs and I loved seeing some of the events of the previous book through their POV. I also loved how the plot's been progressing and I'm so damn impatient and intrigued, to say the least, to see what wil happen after that ending and especially after that epilogue: I already know I'm going to absolutely INHALE the next book. I'M SO EXCITED.

I liked Rohan Rekindled by Dylan Reece. It's the third book in the Darlington Pack series. I liked Mars and Rohan's story. I'm coming into the series without having read the first two books, and I'm sure I'm missing out on some info that would have explained why the alpha leadership was being changed from Red to his brother, Atlas. There was a lot of emphasis on the age gap between Rohan and Mars and why Rohan couldn't be seen at the games with Rohan, but then it ended up happening later in the book. And it killed me that they couldn't figure out why the journalist taking pictures of them seemed familiar and that it never dawned on them that it might be the same guy they had problems with from the school they met at and where they first fell in love. There is an underlying plot that is not wrapped up in this book about the journalist and the group he works for. I did love the chemistry between Mars and Rohan and their hot scenes. I also loved how everyone interacted together, and I loved Leo's twin girls.
I look forward to reading the first two books in the series to see what I missed and the next book in the series, Heck No, Leo, when it comes out.

This book runs partly parallel to Atlas's Accident, the previous book, but this book tells the story about Rohan and Mars how and when they first met and how they now reconnected and have to make decisioms if they choose to be together and where. And if Mars should prolong his sporting career. They choose to be together in Darlington, after they can't stand to be apart and start a family before Mars plays his final game(s), after giving birth to adorable pups/ babies.
The over arcibg storyline about the feud with the bears reappears from Rohan and Mara their perspective.
A new storyline about a 'stalkerish' person, Quentin, from Rohan and Mars their past reappears and threatens the safety of Darlington and its inhabitants once more or does he?
I am also looking forward if said Quentin is indeed Leo his fated as it seems to be and if the two black wolfs are friends or foe?
I totally got lost in the wonderful world Dylan has spun and recommend you read the earlier books in the series first to get a full understanding of characters mentioned.
I was given an arc for my enjoyment and I leave my personal review.

Another great addition to this series. This time we get Rohan and Mars's story. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both these men. They were wonderful together, but were so unhappy apart and longed for each other. Rohan knew Mars was his fated mate and even showed him his wolf. But he was a professor and Mars a student with a promising basketball career. When he gets a threatening message, he leaves Mars to protect him. It was the hardest thing he ever had to do, but worth it for Mars's sake. Mars never understood why Rohan just left and still loved him even five years later. A bad injury during a hike is career-ending for Mars, but fate brought him to Rohan all those years later. To save his career, Rohan offers Mars the claiming bite which would heal his knee. But then Mars would be going away to continue his career. And Rohan's place was in Darlington- especially with trouble from the bear shifters. This was an exciting and also emotional read for me. I wanted these two to be happy together. It was far from a smooth journey, but completely satisfying by the end. 5 stars.

In this 3rd book in the series, we meet Rohan, the pack doctor, and Mars, basketball superstar, who began a romance more than 5 years ago when Rohan was working at the college where Mars played basketball and involved in treating Mars' ankle injury. Rohan knew they were fated mates from the start, but as he was older than Mars, and technically his doctor, their romance had to be kept under wraps.
Something happened to spook Rohan into leaving the college and hiding in Darlington.
These many years later, Mars and his friend David (from book 2) end up near Darlington, Mars snaps his only just healed ACL again, and Rohan offers the claiming bite to heal him for good.
The relationship has its challenges, most of which have to do with Mars' celebrity status and the risk of openly being in love with an older man.
The book is an easy read, and all of the previous characters make appearances throughout. Mars has a stalker, maybe, and there's some drama around that. There's also Mars' coach who seems to be written as an ass for no reason at all.
Leo's book is next but apparently not until April 2023. The blurb looks promising. We shall see.

Feed off each other's strengths! This story, provided a lot more depth to the problems with the bears and the commitment of the residents of Darlington. Rohan and Mars, were fated. Rohan, was a professor and Mars was an exceptional student athlete. During Mars' senior year, a threat was made, so Rohan abruptly without explanation left. Mars, was devestated and didn't know why. Years later, Mars is recovering from an injury but goes on a hike with a returning Vet, David. I can see where the repetition of the previous story was necessary for worldbuilding, but the entire series shold be read in order for continuity and enjoyment! Rohan and Mars, are reunited but it doesn't go smoothly. There are still challenges and misunderstandings. Nothing seems to work in their favor. Will they be able to sort out the dilemmas and crisis in the pack? Will Mars go back to his career? Will Rohan stay strong? Great story. The Darlington saga works because of the excellent characters Dylan builds. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After reading Atlas’s Accident I was very intrigued about good ole doctor Rohan and how he knew Mars.
Rohan has been away from his fated mate for 5 long years. When Mars is brought into his clinic with a torn ACL which is a career ending injury for the star basketball player. Rohan tells him that he can help him if he gives him the claiming bite, that it will heal him and he can return to his basketball career. Mars and Rohan have been so lonely during the 5 years they’ve been apart broken apart by blackmail. Once these two reconnect they just want to be with each other. They will struggle with the distance and the demands of each of their careers. They will also have to find out who is stalking them and trying to keep them apart.
I think this one has been my favorite of the series so far. I enjoyed the danger, suspense and a real love connection between Rohan and Mars. Plus lots of babies!

Well, well, well, - Who knew i would like Mpreg shifter romance books!

These are the first and only Mpreg books i have read and while shifter books are not new to me Mpreg certainly is. I wasn't sure what i would think, i had low expections to be honest,
But DAMN am i glad i give this series a try.
The Mpreg aspect is really a secondary elements in these books and not the thing i want to focus on, while it was hot...suprisingly so, it wasnt what i loved most about these books, It was simply a subtle added bonus to the story.
The storyline that works its way through all of the books is simply GENIUS.
There is mystery that keeps you guessing and action that had me jumping off the couch.
The plot twist combined with the fated mates aspects just hit so good!!!
So if you are wondering about shifter books or perhaps want to see what Mpreg is all about i HIGHLY recommend this series as a starter.

We finally have Rohan's story. After pining for more about this shifter, his happily ever after was worth the wait.

OMG! So amazing! This is the 3rd book in the Darlington pack series. If you like MM, fated mates, hot alphas, sassy omegas and adorable babies this book is for you! Well written, steamy, and a great background story that ties it all together! Rohan and Mars are the definition of true love lost and found again! Their relationship and steamy scenes are so hot it can melt your kindle! We get to see all the pack members and how the babies are growing as well as get more additions to the pack! This book is set during the same time as Atlas and David’s story so you get more background and the bigger picture of what’s happening in Darlington! There is trouble on the horizon and a couple mysteries to be solved! I absolutely cannot wait for more! Leo’s book is next eeeek!

Depending on how you look at it, this is either book 3 or book 4 of the series. Again, another fantastic read. This time, it's the turn of Dr, Rohan, to meet his fated mate, Mars. Though they met before and the older man, Dr Rohan, fled into the night. They meet again when Mars a sports celeb is injured while out hiking, guests the hiding away did not work, and is brought to Dr Rohan for treatment by Atlas who has just net his fated mate, Mars ' friend, less about them. The attraction is still there, though Rohan is a highly principled man and afraid to commit for a range of reasons I won't give , Mars has a career though....throw in a major threat of exposure and yet again you got a great read

Rohan and Mars met at the university where Mars was playing basketball and hurt his ankle, Rohan as a sport doctor and professor. They fell for each other but they were threatened and they would have lost their jobs so Rohan left without a goodbye. Mars took his best friend David camping before taking David home, Mars messed up his ACL again after he was ready to play again. Mars was taken to the clinic and found Rohan his mate. Rohan claimed him and his knee healed David found his mate also. They also have a stalker but things came ok. Good book!.

Ok this pulled me in. This was a lost and got back love. While it did have a teacher student age gap component it wasn’t the main conflict of the story. I loved watching these two get their HEA. It was a fought for love due to external issues. How do you stay hidden while in the spotlight? While this is a stand-alone the privious book is running parallel to this so you get to see sneak peeks of that. The writing was great, the smexy was great, and I love all the side characters Leo is next and I’m excited for this lonely wolf to get his happiness back, I’m just not sold on his mate right now.

This is the third book in the series, but the first one that I've read. I was afraid that I would be confused and have to middle my way through until things made sense. That was not the case. Mars and Rohan brought me into the story and kept my attention. The world that Dylan has created is wonderful. I love the way the wolf community welcomes in new mates and how humans can become wild shifters.I fully expected there to be an evil ex or current boyfriend who would try to break up the couple, but that doesn't happen at all. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is my 1st read read review for this author I hadn’t read the other two books in this series but I can catch up on the later I got the gist of this story and I loved it, I have high expectations when it comes to reading m/m romances wether it be shifter or non shifter and this author passed all of my expectations. I loved this story and the characters Rohan and Mars they weren’t meant to be together at first because Rohan was threatened so he left, now I will let you find out the rest for yourself. This is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

I have been waiting for Rohan and Mars' story and this did not disappoint. Five years ago, Mars and Rohan had a secret relationship, one where Rohan walked away to ensure Mars's career would take off. Now, fate has brought them back together again once more. Will they give in and finally be together? Of course, they will, but half the fun of this is the journey. I love this series and hold a special place in my heart for Rohan.

This book takes place during the time of the first two books. Doc Rohan and Basketball Player Mac know each other from college and even though they are mates, Rohan leaves Mac. Years later, Mac is in the woods around where Rohan lives and works and needs a doctor.
The strings of fate are strong and work to keep them connected, even though originally Rohan left. I loved this story and seeing the first two books from a slightly different view. Can't wait to read more.

I liked how Rohan Rekindled ran parallel to the previous book, Atlas' Accident. It was interesting to get those scenes from another character's perspective, particularly from Rohan and Mars. I also enjoyed reading Rohan and Mars. They finally got their spotlight and it was great!.

I was waiting for this book and it did not disappoint. great cast of characters and i love the story in general. I want so much more. Check out this book and the other books in the series. You will not be disappointed.

Loved, loved, loved Rohan and Mars story sooo much!! Mars is a star basketball player who is hurt. He needs the claiming bite from his fated mate to help heal him. Rohan is Mars fated mate. Rohan had left Mars years ago, Mars never knew why Rohan left him alone and they both have greatly suffered. Overall, a really good story!!

Holds your interest
At times the book gets a little confusing between the characters and the background story. Rohann and Mars have a strong connection and it developed throughout the story. The only thought by that bugs me is that, Mars never made an announcement that he was retiring. It's just out there that he did.

Rohan, who is a wolf shifter, left his mate so he could have his basketball career. Mars never got over Rohan and now that he's found him again he doesn't know if he can let go. As they get closer, they realize there's a stalker after Mars. I really am enjoying this series.

Really liked this book. Would recommend to friends. It flows well and the plot keeps you turning the pages.
