This is the second book in the Fast Love Series each book can be read as a standalone and once you start it you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Abbie is working as a match maker, but it is turning her against love the things she sees, hear about others, know what they expect, and now she has been given a case for a sexy guy whose mother is putting him up to doing being set up or a match being found for him. Dean sexy as all get out wealthy part of the problem finding a woman who can see past his good looks, his money but he sabotages every date that has been set first it was different restaurants and so on. Abbie meets with him to go over some pointers that was the plan but meeting they find they have so much more in common ends up talking about everything but his up coming dates but upon leaving he makes comments that don’t sit well with her causing her to walk away but the problem is she doesn’t walk away from his thoughts, his dreams and the same goes for her she can’t get over how much they clicked, how much she enjoyed herself. So he continues on with the dating services but no one has the chemistry that he found with Abbie so being the man he is makes his own plan to see his Abbie messaging her asking if they can meet but his comment still isn’t setting right with her so trying to get them to talk over the phone and again he didn’t get where he is in the business world by giving up so he insist they meet and again they enjoy each other’s company so much only thing Abbie anger isn’t over his comment it is because she can’t date him due to her job. Sending in on one last date with another young lady but she get sick the night of the date so she is forced to show up in person to tell him his date isn’t arriving due her being sick so she is there in her place and they admit they can’t walk away from the magnetic pull but Abbie knows if she dates him she may lose her job but fate has throw every monkey wrench in the matchmaker plan will she attend the wedding with him as is +1, will they both get over it allowing their love to fully develop, wills she lose her job, and is there a HEA in store for the two of them?.

Trying to Find a Date Match . . .

Abbi is employed at Match X, assigned to find Dean Lawless’ perfect match. Dean is not interested in the matchmaking that his mother has arranged. Abbi’s first date choice doesn’t work out, so she meets with him to review a few items and he never gives her a chance to discuss them. Sent on a second date, there is no spark at all between Dean and his date. Abbi is running out of time to get him matched up.

So Dean contacts Abbi about meeting to discuss compatibility and what she would be looking for. When they are together, they have fun. But she has just one more date to try for him, and “the clock is ticking”. But before the date happens, his “match” calls to tell Abbi she is not feeling well and can’t go out on the date. She said she had tried to call Dean but couldn’t reach him. So Abbi hurries out to the restaurant where the two would have their date. Abbi and Dean both confess that they would prefer to be with each other, but it could cost Abbi her job. Will she lose her job over not finding him his perfect date? Or has he already found her?

This is the second book in this series, and this is Dean and Abbie’s story, Abbie is a matchmaker with the help of her computer software, and she is assigned the task of finding the wealthy and sexy Dean with his ideal life partner. Problem being Deans’ mother has arranged this, and Dean is determined to sabotage every date he goes on, and he has become the bain of her life, forcing her to use all her persuasion skills to bring him back onto the right track, especially now that her job is on the line. These two has explosive and undeniable chemistry between them, and they complete each other perfectly. This is a well written story which is humorous, fun, and with witty banter, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

—>>> Abbi certainly has her work cut out for her to find Dean a suitable wife, and to top it off, her boss is breathing down her neck to land a match, and her agency record has not been shining very much lately. AND she was hired by Dean’s mother, who is desperate to see him married. All Dean comes to realize is that it is only his match maker who gets him all fired up, not the women she pairs him up with…Abbi is everything he needs and did not know he was looking for. Steamy and well paced! Looking forward to more of this author’s stories!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. In this love story, a match is made, just not one that anyone expected. Dean and Abbi both are doing something they do not want to do. She doesn't really want to set him up and Dean doesn't want to be matched. Everything gets complicated between these two once they meet in person. Overall I liked both Abbi and Dean's characters. The story has humor to go along with their frustration and chemistry.
