Amity -- I knew people could be cruel. I never thought the entire school and town would turn against me. And why? Because I trusted the wrong person. I thought Evan loved me. How could I have been so wrong? He used me. Humiliated me. Then my parents threw me out. I’d hit rock bottom when Thunder found me. He didn’t just get me off the bridge that night. He saved me in every way that counted. He’s my rock. My hero. My everything. I only hope one day he’ll come to love me as much as I love him.

Thunder -- My club is my life. My family. And I’ll do anything for them. But I’ve kept a secret. Something from my past. Before I became a Dixie Reaper. When Portia asks for help, I can’t deny her. So I go out into the storm. I didn’t realize the impact it would have on me. Seeing Amity on the bridge, ready to jump, brought it all back. Now I’ll save her because I have no other choice. I failed in the past. I won’t this time. One look in her eyes, and I know she’s meant to be mine. I will lay her demons to rest. Get revenge for her and our baby. Every man who’s touched her, hurt her, will answer to me. And I’m sending them all straight to hell.

WARNING: Thunder is part of the Dixie Reapers MC series and contains adult content some readers may find difficult to read. Bad language, adult situations, bullying, teen suicide, attempted suicide, and other dark content. Please proceed with caution.

Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.

When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.

The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

Hell, that was one big bomb that dropped in Thunders lap. But love and family make everything all better. Can't wait to read the next book after all that shit went down.

Wow
What a read
The baggage Thunder has been carrying around with him since teen years is so much.
Amity, i just loved her, her strength and all she went through. Being betrayed by a boyfriend, but also by your parents…..wow
But the way Thunder helped take care of her, melted my heart for sure

Thunder and Amity

This book can be read as a standalone however it is worth reading the other books too as they are great
. It does contain potential triggers which the author does warn about at the start of the book such as rape, bullying nd suicide, the author tries to handle this in a sensitive way and doesn’t go into description thankfully on this.

I read the part of the book after the story (I don’t know what it’s called it’s like the foreword at the end) a bit about what the authors thoughts were during the book inspiration for the book etc. Some of this book has been written from experience, of men who appear to be good men to those around them being the devil in disguise.
I am sorry that Harley went through the bad stuff she did and that justice probably hasn’t been served like the Dixie reapers would have.

So I stayed up really late last night reading this so am a bit later writing my review, it is really well written and the twists in it were good, im not going to say what as don’t want to ruin it however I did not see that coming!!!
I am worried about Meredith though, what is causing her to act up, where did she disappear to and is it going to be a similar situation as it was with her sister Shella? So there are a couple of questions that came up that make me wonder what might be in store for the MCs.
One thing that I’m still struggling with is how on earth they manage to wear jeans and a leather vest and heavy boots in the heat, I know they need to to protect their bodies from the bike but they must be so hot

Amity has been humiliated. The boy she thought loved recorded them and now everyone in the town knows. She just needed to get through school but it just was too much. Portia, Torch’s daughter, needed help for her friend. When Thunder aka Austin found out about what Amity planned, he wasn’t about to let that happen. Yes, everyone knows who she was but Amity was a sweet girl. She didn’t deserve any of it. When we find out what happened to her, what really happened, it is shocking. I was in tears. How could anyone do that? I’m glad that Thunder was there to save her as well as the Dixie Reapers. This kind of things shouldn’t be happening. But this happens every day. Kids and adults being bullied. Not only that but the abuse as well. This story was digging deep and dark. Amity had to find the strength within herself to move forward. With the help of the Reapers and Thunder by her side, they persevered. Harley you are going hardcore in these stories. I was also shocked that a change was taking place. Granted it was time for a changing of the guards from the Pres, VP, Treasurer and Enforcer. We also added a few new officers. I won’t give away who takes the position. You will have to read the story to find out. I have to say this sets up for Savior’s story. I can’t wait for that one. This is getting good.

My heart shattered and repaired for Amity multiple times during this book. Thunder was everything she needed. This a bit of a darker then normal book but it's done in a wonderful way. I'm not ashamed to say I cried a few tears for not just Amity but for anyone whose been in her place. Harley Wylde took some hard hitting topics that occur all to much in our world and gave them a voice that even thou you may feel broken and alone you aren't. She showed us that taking that chance to accept the hand reaching out asking you to just hold on a bit longer can lead you to a world of love acceptance and family you create thru bonds and actions not just blood. The world is a dark dangerous place Amity and Thunder show us some of beauty that can be created by love and acceptance.

I always enjoy coming back to The Dixie Reapers. Venom was the first book I read by Harley Wylde and I fell in love and haven't been disappointed once. The Dixie Reapers are growing and changing and we get to get go along for the ride.

I loved Thunder and Amity's story. There are several triggers in this story that you need to be aware of-rape and thoughts of suicide.
This story was like taking a hit to the gut-so very heart wrenching and had my emotions all over the place.
But, with all that being said, Thunder was amazing and the way he took hold of Amity and did not let her go was so sweet-He made the decision to keep her and did not look back.
Amity was broken, or so she thought. The ex-boyfriend, the town, even her family-all of them just threw Amity to the ground and stepped all over her.
With the help of Thunder and the rest of the Dixie Reapers, Amity found a family that took care of her and made sure she felt safe and loved.
There is plenty of action, lots of twists, turns and WTF moments that will have you rushing to get to the next chapter to see what will happen next!
Dixie Reapers is changing, and we are invited along for the ride!

Thunder had me hooked from the very first page (ok…let’s face it…every Harley book has me hooked from page one). I devoured this one. Normally I try to take my time so the book isn’t over too fast (hint hint Ms. Wylde, cough cough longer books cough cough) but I couldn’t put it down. I was up half the night reading. This book broke my heart and left me hanging. It’s not a cliff hanger per se but I definitely need answers!

Now for the meat and potatoes. I love the relationship between Thunder and Amity. The way he is with her throughout is…yum! Though I did want to thump his forehead at one point :)

I normally don’t read the author notes at the end of books (I don’t really know why 🤦‍♀️) but I’m so glad I did on this one. Keep your head up, stand tall, be proud. You are NOT a victim. You are a SURVIVOR!!!

Thunder had my emotions all over the place as I dived into this story. He found Amity at her lowest and talked her into coming home with him. Amity trusted the wrong person and was betrayed, and her betrayal was displaced not only in her school but around the town as well. Her dysfunctional family will kick her to the curb leaving her without a home or resources to support herself. Her friend Portia will be the catalyst that gets Thunder on board, and it will start their journey to helping them heal. There are so many traumatic twists and turns in this story along with triggers that may be hard for some. overall, this poignant story had me in Thunder and Amity's corner to get their chance to find happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

I freaking Adore Thunder and the fierce love and care he has for Amity this book kept me captivated from the start of where Amity at school and her piece of crap boyfriend raped her and allowed others to join in for money and rape her then video it and showed her senior class and everything snowballed from there until Thunder finds her and rescues her and on this emotional roller coaster they found a trader in the club and other family members she didn’t know she had but my emotions were all over the place with this great book I loved it a must read couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next book I crave the next book soon as I finished one Harley is amazing author .

It didn't take long for me to fall in complete love with Thunder. He is so sweet and caring, he is an absolute doll. He doesn't hesitate to drive off into a storm and rescue a girl ready to jump off a bridge. Amity has been abused by everyone. Now she is homeless, jobless, scorned and pregnant. When Thunder looks into her eyes, he is a goner. Amity takes a leap, of faith and trusts the gorgeous biker to take care of her. Its the best decision she has ever made. Thunder does everything in his power to right the wrongs done to her. Amity is a true sweetheart and absolutely adored her. I would have happily joined Thunder in taking care of the trash. All the stars for Thunder and Amity!

Waiting for Thunder's story seemed to take forever, and now that it's here, I don't even know where to begin. Wanting to jump inside a book and physically harm a fictional character doesn't happen often, but this time it did to me.

Thunder and Amity's beginning didn't happen in the traditional meet-cute way, but their chemistry was off the charts. This book was a little darker than Harley Wylde's others and it had so many twists and surprises I never knew where the story would take me. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Behind closed doors

This touches on a subject not often discussed in the open. So much goes on behind closed doors of families and children are made to believe it is their fault and "must not talk to others about what happens at home because it is your fault and they'll take you away ." If even one door is opened a tiny crack for one child, this book has a much bigger impact than Ms. Wylde could ever imagine. I'm very much looking forward to her next Dixie Dealers book. I want to know about the children and Saviors path to fatherhood and leadership.

💀⚡️💀Thunder And Amity💀⚡️💀

Amity has been beaten down to the point of no return, and she feels alone in the world. Thunder is very supportive of Amity, he became her friend, her confident. During their friendship, lust, love, have bloomed, he shows her there's more to life with people in her corner. Thunder maybe older than Amity, but he knows what he wants, he'll slay all her monsters coming or going. I love to go back into the Dixie Reapers world, I've missed them a lot and I was very happy see them again.

Thunder and Amity are thrown together in a moment of pain, despair, and hopelessness. Amity has been bullied and abused to the point of wanting to end it all. She just wants the pain to stop. Her friend seeks help for her and sends Thunder to the rescue. He has ghosts in his past that caused him to immediately connect with Amity. Their friendship turns to love in a “hot” second as Thunder works to save her and make her his! As a series long Dixie Reaper fan, this story does not disappoint! Lots of action and lots of growly, steamy biker love make this another hit!

5/5 🔥🔥🔥TW! but HEA ending

You’d be crazy not to read the 15th (yes 15th) book in Harley Wyldes Dixie Reapers MC series. This is Thunder and Amity’s book it’s sad, but also sweet and happy and just an awesome read.

I love the chemistry between amity and thunder! I got upset and was emotional reading this most excellent book. I’d recommend reading all of Harley’s books she is amazing writer and just gets it. I can’t recommend her enough!

Ugh! I wasn't going to buy this one right away, as I'm getting ready to leave on vacation day after tomorrow; I read the blurb & had to have it. It made me teary, and mad and happy over & over. I really enjoyed the characters & the twists in the plot. It left a few threads open for the next one in the series, and I'm looking forward to them. It was a bit dark in spots, but the strength of the characters & the love won over. Definitely worth the read.

An emotional, heart wrenching and beautifully captivating ride to go on with Thunder and Amity. This story will take you on a journey that will break you apart and then put you back together in a way that you don't expect. The subject matter is a bit darker than what is expected from Harley Wylde but it’s just as fantastic as always, she never ceases to amaze me.

Although I love all of Harley’s books, I’m pretty sure thunder made it to the top of my list. Sometimes her books are hard to read and this is one of those, but she always tells the story of real world problems and real-world solutions. Thunder kept me engaged from the first page. And the words from Harley after the story were incredible. I highly recommend this book

Amity and Thunder's story is a fast paced, insta love, quick read that tugs at your heartstrings in the biggest way. Amity has survived horror thanks to Thunder and like all the rest of guys in the club there's no time wasted in him claiming her. Lots of surprises in this book that you never see coming.

Amity has lived thru some of the worst bullying i have ever seen, even tho she doesn't see it as surviving. Thunder, trying to make good on a action early in his life, doesn't realize he is riding towards his forever. Take a ride with the Dixie Reapers again and find out what is so amazing about those men and women that have gone thru so much to be here!

Awesome

Wow, talk about a deep subject that this book was about. Really hits on a topic that happens much too often. That being said, the book was well written and had good characters. Kept my attention from the first right to the end. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

good quick read

I enjoyed it but it definitely left many things unanswered for, stuff I would assume that would be answered for in the next book but also things that should have been discussed between Thunder and Amity that don’t really fit into someone else’s story and I’m not sure if I’m willing to pay to MAYBE get those answers

I loved Thunder and Amity's story. He found her at her lowest but he sticks by her side. There is some triggers with rape and her attempting suicide but she over comes them all. And she found she had family that wanted her.

He finds her on the bridge ready to jump but why?

Amitiy has been living on the streets after all that happened to her during the last year of high school.

With Thunder and Amitiy be able to help her with everything.

Sweet, heartbreaking and powerful.

Loved this book. The story was told beautifully with care and understanding. Harley is a master of writing characters that you want to know more about. I love how all of her series are connected and the family feel you get out of each book.
