A Rockstar, Close Proximity, Sweet Omegaverse Reverse Harem Romance.

I used to love being an omega until one night changed my life.

I’m Georgie, an omega in hiding, and I still fear the hunt that started seven years ago—the pursuit they told me I would never win. But it doesn’t stop me from wishing for the day my bonded alpha will come and rescue me. But I come to realise with each passing day, my rescue gets less likely.

And when life throws me yet another obstacle, I seek safety in a place I would never expect. I take a job as the fake girlfriend of three private rock stars, but really I’m nothing but a personal assistant to them. Anything to keep the media at bay and their fans at a distance. These rock stars are the gorgeous but grumpy Steel Hearts, the music gods made up of three sexy alphas who are idols to millions.

But they hate me.

Am I worried? No, it’s perfect.

They don’t want me, and I don’t want them. See, I’m an omega with a broken heart. Which suits them fine because I’m not the only broken one on the tour bus. These rock stars are mourning too.

It turns out not all of them are, because I become the omega one of them craves. The trouble is my feelings are growing for him and my bodyguard, too. Each asking me to let go of the past and open my heart.

But can I give love another try when my heart and bond belong to someone else?

Since I have read the first book of the series, I was invested in the characters and the stories. But I was most interested in Georgie's story and waited anxiously for that book. Finally, I was able to read it. And it was a fantastic final book, even though it was slow burn.

If someone knows my previous reviews, they know that I don't read many slow burn books. Not because it is bad. I mean, in the end it is really satisfying, when the characters come together and finally give in to each other. And if it's made right, the anticipation is build up beforehand and makes you root for them. And it depends on, too, how long I have to wait. I once read a series, which was slow burn, where I had to wait for the third book to finally something happened between the characters. That was too long for me. Even though, it was greatly written and satisfying.

So, I tend to avoid slow burn books, even when they are great and worth the effort in the end. But on the same hand, I don't like insta-love either. Because it's not really realistic and often in those books the authors tend to neglect character building or more relationship building. So, I prefer the “middle-burn”. Not too fast, but not too slow either.

But back to topic: In this book, it was worth it. Sure, I didn't know it was slow burn beforehand. But I had no issues at all with it here.

I felt with each of the characters. And Georgie hit it off the most, because of how traumatic her past was and what happened to her. And how much she hurt to not be with Saint. There were many times during the read, I wished she could be happy and move on. Even though I could understand her and why it has to happened in that way.

But the entire book was a great conclusion, and I loved that Georgie and her guys get her happy ending.

I kind of hope, there will be a story about Freya, even though I don't know much about her. But the little interaction mentioned in the epilogue with her and the mafia guy sounded interesting. Especially with Omegaverse. So, let's see what comes next.

Georgie is an Omega. She found Saint - he is her alpha. Her dad has told her not to see him so they sneak around, but someday he will claim her. Georgie overhears her dad arranging for her sale at the ball. Omega's aren't sold!!. When she tells Saint, they decided he should claim her now. That will protect her, he will protect her. But he dropped her off early, her house was invaded and she was kidnapped. The separation from her mate was so painful, and the thought he would no longer want her even more so. As she had been claimed, she was longer worth anything. So her kidnappers decided to hunt her. And she runs.
This story really caught my attention immediately and firmly. A great page turner full of plot twists, danger, intrigue, angst and finding friends and loves and even more danger. Read the triggers- Read the story.

Finally we find out what happened

Gosh! Waiting for this book in order to find out what happen to Georgie was excruciatingly long. Unfortunately, she lacks common sense and a lot of her explanations why she stayed away from her alpha, sister and cousin don't really make seam rational at all. Or maybe her trauma stumbled her brains for 7 years. Still, despite the slightly darker elements of the story (kidnapping, s£xual assault threats, violence against women and mild torture), it was a good conclusion to the series. Also, be ready for copious amount of s£xual tension for a good chunk of the book.

The slow burn in this book is brutal, but so worth it. There were times I wanted Georgie to move on from Saint, even though I knew it was impossible, just so she could find some happiness. Carson and Liam were so sweet with her and truly needed her to make them whole again. When Saint finally has Georgie back in his arms, he has to really battle his instincts and own demons to see if he's able to share her. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and I'm glad Georgie has finally gotten her happy ending.

Now this is what I enjoy so much. This series was so refreshing to read and I love happy endings. The books are standalone so they go about different characters but they are mentioned in next books so I would recommend reading them in order and they are omegaverse. This is slower burn so the built of characters is awesome and I'm a fan for sure. This is not a fluffy omegaverse but has in depth feelings and I really enjoy that personally. I am for sure looking on this author and can't wait to see what she does next!

Georgie is actually #4 in the get knotted series and was the last. It had elements of mystery and violence following the home invasion and kidnapping that took place 7 years earlier. Georgia was the ultimate Omega until the kidnapping but running for 7;years changed her. This is a slow burn romance which I don't normally enjoy but this was an exception. I certainly recommend this conclusion to an excellent series

Survivor

XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Georgie is a survivor. Kidnapped and hunted for seven years, yet she stayed hidden. Even though it meant hiding from Saint, her bonded alpha. Then she met Liam and Carson. Her days of hiding were suddenly over. Still hunted, who would find her first? Saint or her kidnapper?

I liked this a lot more than Tilly, Georgie’s fear was so real and her struggle to learn to trust and fall for the her guys were much more natural and less hurried.
Last almost 20% were kust heat…. Again, which is weird for seems to just be there for the slight spice, but not really having to do anything for the plot..

Nice series

4.5 ⭐️ A good end to a series I have enjoyed. The storylines were all novel. That’s so refreshing. I had to take away 1/2 ⭐️ because the proofreading was subpar, and they were storylines that weren’t really tied up well. This author builds great characters and world. She’s very good. I will read more of hers.
