At six months, baby can play with sounds and responses to noises, including speech. What better way than this book to develop early skill with sound? Filled with bright color and bold patterns, Amazing Baby Baby, Boo! uses rhyming to encourage exploration. Sparkling foil paper and a sturdy mirror distinguish this new entry in this best-selling series.
My husband loved to read this to our little one over and over again. It’s peekaboo in a board book. There are black and white photos of other babies, then the baby goes missing and a mirror appears for your child to find themselves. The giggles this book produced from kids were the best!
I thought this book would be one that would be good for infants. Not only does it have bright colors, but it also has pictures of other babies and a way for the infant being read to to see itself in the mirror at the end. The pages are made to where they can’t be torn by infants, so it’s infant-proof as well. I liked the book; I thought the pictures were good, the colors were very attractive and that an infant would enjoy being read to with this book. It could possibly be used to just be read to infants. It could also be turned into a game of peek-a-boo with the baby being read to.
(Age 1) This was one of Asher's first favorite books. He loved the rhythm of it and love the book at the end (and the mirror). Not as entrancing for adults, but it was easily memorized and I could easily repeat it in the car when we were driving.
