Dark Reality: A Hard Cuckold Tale: Bonus Story: Family Friend

Dark Reality. Ally is beautiful and sensuous and in desperate lust with her personal trainer Manny. When her husband, Bill, walks in on them in flagrante delicto, he tries to get even. But when his plans go horrible sideways and Manny moves in, Bill realizes how little he can do to recover his marriage. As Ally spins out of control, Bill realizes that his only option is to reward the man who has debauched his wife to get him to move on. Dark Reality is pessimistic tale of cuckolding and adultery.
Family Friend. Jack's oldest friend, Tim, is out of sorts. Tim is single after catching his girlfriend cheating and suffering professional setbacks as well. When Tim comes to stay with Jack and Amy for a job interview, they both realize that he's too beaten down to succeed. They hatch a Amy will seduce Tim in the hopes of restoring his confidence. The plan works all too well. Tim goes from schlub to stud, and with his good looks, renewed self-assurances, and prodigious package he turns Amy into his personal slut, and Jack can do little except wait and hope that Amy's obsession with Tim runs its course.

These are two short stories from Ben’s Literotica days, as the title suggests they are dark, so only suitable for those who can enjoy cuckolding fiction where the husband is not strong enough and loses total control of the situation.
I for one enjoy this style as much as the lighter Hot Wifing and HEA cuckold stories in these 2 genres.
So, you have been warned, read if you enjoy the mind fuck, otherwise, spare the author a 1-star review!

Woah-Ho! The forward to this book says these are two Hard Cuck stories. The author was not kidding! I like reading Ben Boswell because his writing is a little more raw than the others in his writing group. But I think this sets a new high bar even for Ben Boswell.
These are short stories, and I don’t want to give them away, but they involve CHEATING wives (not sure I can say it much louder) and husbands who try to work with what they’ve got.
In the first story, Bill does a remarkable job of analyzing his options, none of which are good. And the options he chooses totally blow up in his face — what’s a guy to do? In the second story, husband Jack is trying to help his friend get back on his feet. Wife Amy puts her shoulder to the wheel (or maybe something else) and houseguest Tim roars back to life. In both stories, it’s a challenging situation for the loving husbands.
Personally I thought both scenarios were a perfect setup for a Burn the B finish. What do you think - did the husbands make the right choice?

I understand what Ben was going for in these books. And he achieved his stated goal that you (at least I) didn't like anyone of these characters. Mission accomplished?
From the cheap seats that I sit in, that doesn't seem like a very high bar to clear. I think it is harder to write series like 'One Night in Cleveland' and have it end without a happy ever after. I think when you write a story about the individuals that are likeable despite their poor judgement and actions, it is more of a gut punch when they cannot reconcile and their life falls apart.

Not so dark...
I was expecting something a little different, but I'm not mad about what I got. I think the stories were well written, and enjoyed the tiny bit of get back the husbands got in the end.
Overall, definitely not a bad read. This is my first experience with this author, but I don't think it will be my last.

What makes a cuck story 'hard'? It can't be the sex, because that's what these stories are all about. For me, it's the amount of marital tension that the couple generates in testing their relationship and respect for one another while the wife purses all of her sexual desires. That tension is often why more extreme sexual acts can amplify cuck stories. Will you still love me after this? What about this? Still now? Yes, always yes. The true cuck is the ultimate romantic in staying true to his wife through the fulfillment of all of her sexual desires, even when they don't involve him. 'Hard' books focus on the cuck's resolve while the wife confronts him with her sexual actions and revealed desires.
These short stories had some of this 'hard' cuck sparkle, but not enough to burn. The rationalizations in the first story over staying or leaving the marriage were pathetic, but not in a good way. The second story was better with a setup similar to the classic "Winning Amanda through Intimidation", which is also one of Boswell's favorites. The really short format probably limited the possibilities here.

Ben accomplished what he said he'd do
Sometimes, a door gets opened, and what happens next can't be forgotten or undone, and all need to live with the consequences. These two tales are like that.

Ben Boswell is an excellent writer. However, I am not a lawyer, but reading a story where the prime character is supposed to be an attorney, he should at least think like an attorney. Mr Boswell failed miserably on this.
Hubby catches wife in bed with her trainer while kids are in school (two grade schoolers).
Hubby can’t stop her, she’s unapologetic and doesn’t want a divorce. Besides, with two small kids, divorce doesn’t work in hubbys benefit, anyway. She gets the house, the kids, support, etc, etc.
Soo Hubby stirs up chaos at the bulls work. Bull loses job and appartment,.. Sooo Wife moves him into the house with the kids.
Beyond this, the story is fun to read. Hubby is an angry, unwilling cuckold.
it's a BTB.
(think like an attorney): Bull is now in the house with the wife and the kids 24/7.
It’s time for husband to move into the guest bedroom, or the basement. Let the bull move into her bedroom so he can screw her 24/7, not just during school hours.
TIME TO PUT IN CONCEALED CAMERAS IN EVERY ROOM.
Parental rights... they ‘always’ favor the wife, unless you change the rules.
What’s needed is photographic proof of wife and bull having sex and a kid witnessing it. That would end her parental rights, along with an infidelity divorce, an order of protection for the kids, and her claim upon the house. She would be out on her ass along with the bull.
If she wants ANYTHING more from husband she’ll have to ask on bended knee. Her rights and privileges as a parent are over. The courts will be on Hubby’s side. These rights would prevail even after this mess is over. Even if they get back together, she still has no legal rights concerning the kids or the house.
He needs photographic proof that she's an Unfit Mother.
The parties that take place in the home would photograph nicely, as well.
These two stories have a similarity. Both wives are unapologetic in their betrayal. Neither can be trusted to remain faithful once the current fling is over. Both husbands are intelligent and not wimps. They both need to be protected if they remain with their current wives.
They need an ironclad Post-Nuptual agreement. Something that would cost them dearly if they get caught straying in the future. Money, is the only currency that would work.
The house, The kids (parental rights), their retirement accounts, the savings, the value in their cars, etc, etc.
If they get caught screwing around in the future, they lose it all.
Husbands;... THINK like an attorney!

Friend of the Family
This one is a ‘sharing’ story that twists into a cuckold tale.
The Amy and Jack discuss the houseguest Tim while in bed. She convinces Jack that she might be able to rebuild Tim’s confidence by having sex with him. She sells the idea like she’s selling a car. Jack is still contemplating the idea when she leaves the room to go to Tims room. Jack quietly follows. She seduces Tim and finds Tim a whole lot more than ‘capable’. She blows him and screws him repeatedly.
The next day, Jack arrives home early to find her in their bed with Tim getting railed.
That is when newborn cuckold needs to assert himself.
As usual, this cuckold tale incorporates vast amounts of booze to marinate all rational thought out of the angry cuck.
This is a story that flows along the lines of the comment, “No good deed goes unpunished”
It’s the story of a disloyal, and unfaithful wife. She disrespected and humiliated him, and did it to his face. Evidence sent by Tim later, displays even worse behavior.
He stayed the course and eventually got his revenge. But it was a revenge of her choosing. She made him debase her. He allowed that to diminish over time. That was a mistake. He should periodically demand that to add credence to the fact that 'He hasn't forgotten.' (besides, she's already displayed,.. SHE LOVES IT)
She will leave him when she gets bored in the future and he knows it.
You can’t call this a BTB because she burned him. Not for a particular reason. Just because she felt like it.
The wisest advice,.. Hide part of your payroll in an offshore account.
Both stories are excellent, despite repulsive characters.
Mr Boswell is brilliant. The story is vivid enough to make the characters come alive. Even if you dislike them, they spring from the page.
