There is nothing worse than starting a series mid way through but sadly that is what I did.

Anyway I have always had a "thing" for the works of British 2000AD comics - first when I was really young and one of friends used to get it, and then years later at Uni I discovered one of friends off my course was also a huge fan. So I got to enjoy it first time around when really I had little or no experience of science fiction and then to rekindle it again and realise some of those classics never die - (just like the characters in the story).

SO why so I berate the fact I have started mid way through. Well like many of the 2000AD stories there is an arc - it may be part of a long running storyline or it maybe the WHOLE storyline - but there is one even if week by week there are distractions and diversions, its always there. This book without giving away the storyline happens way down the Rogue Trooper time line and in fact as far as I can make out with the prog numbers is the last of the books to be printed in this format. The reason being is that a few years later Rebellion publishing who now looks after the book issues along with IDW reprinted a lot of the rogue trooper stories but now with new colour artwork. I am not sure but it looks like this reboot to the prints has also confused the issues numbers too.

So as confusing as it all is I still get to enjoy the exploits of Rogue Trooper from the mid 80s. Now I just need to go back and read the other books and piece the storyline back together.

Again, bit of a boring kind book about Rogue Trooper. Even the art took a trun to crappier, when Cam Kennedy gave up the art duties.
