Hey there! Before I tell you all about myself, can I invite you to join my private Rachel's Readers Facebook group? That's where my readers hang out, discuss my books, participate in giveaways and learn about new releases.
So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
This is book 8 in the January Cove series. It was a fun one it was unpredictable, and I loved that. Hanna has the best characters and plots. I just wish the books were longer.
Sweet love is the 8th book in the January Cove Series.
Laura is divorced and the most important person in her life, her mother, dies.
Laura doesn't know what to do. Then she finds her mom's vision board with a picture from a little town in Georgia call January Cove. From the encouragement of her friend, she decides to pick up roots and go to January Cove.
Brett is a Country Music star in Nashville but he is from January Cove. He is burned out and decides to go home to January Cove. He runs into Laura and even though there relationship starts out strained the end up developing a friendship but Brett is keeping a big secret from her.
Once she finds out the secret will this relationship last. Read to find out.
I enjoyed Sweet Love as a short, light read. It delivered the same heartwarming charm and cozy small-town vibes I’ve come to expect from Rachel Hanna’s books. However, I’m starting to notice a formulaic pattern in her stories, which made this one feel a bit repetitive. While the characters and relationships were still sweet and endearing, it didn’t stand out as much compared to others in her series.
That said, it’s a cute story and great for when you’re in the mood for something quick and comforting. I may need to take a break from her books for now, but fans of her style will likely enjoy this one too.
Laura Bennett comes to January Cove to escape her failed marriage and to have a fresh start after her mother's death. Sawyer Griffin comes home to escape the stigma of his last album's lack of success ad to take a break from stardom. When they literally run into each other, sparks fly. However, Sawyer hiding a big secret from Laura threatens to destroy their budding love affair. Can they overcome?
This is pretty average, it was a good audiobook to have on during a long drive. In some ways it was cute, in others I just rolled my eyes. I wanted to like the characters together, but I didn't really see much chemistry between them. Some of their interactions seemed a little disjointed and awkward, while others were sweet.
Despite this, I look forward to finishing the series. I really like the January Cove setting and seeing most of the characters that were in the earlier books.
Well Laura did not know what to do with her life after her mother's death and finding her dream list her best friend Carrie tells her where to go for one that was one of her moms wishes. Paige meets Sawyer, but he’s there to hide from his fans and hiding it from her. Can they love and share what they are hiding to be able to be together. Love the author and narrator
I love how this series has some of the same characters but that each book could be read by itself. The main characters in this one were great and it loved reading how their relationship unfolded.
Honestly, I think when I finish a book in the series that it has the best storyline, characters, ups, downs and conclusion. Then I move on to the next in the series, this time, January Cove, and I find a new favorite story. On to Book 9!
It's a story about a young woman who needs to make changes in her life after the passing of her mother. She starts out slow but finally gets a grip on life after meeting someone new.
This has been a fun series to read! I have enjoyed each book in the series and the characters are wonderful! I look forward to reading each book in this series!
This has been one of my favorite books from Rachel Hanna's January Cove. I recommend this series and especially the characters weave in and out of each new story.
I loved this book in the series as I do the past ones I've read so far. I want to move to January Cove myself! It seems like such a magical place to live.
I loved this sweet country love story. Again forgiveness and letting go of the past to find and hold onto true love. Beautiful! The January Cove books are awesome!
So far my favorite in the series. I just love the way the story progressed. Was almost sorry when it ended. Look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Warm fuzzy & happily ever after. Sometimes exactly what you need in between psychological thrillers. The January cove series has been the nice little break i need at times.
sweet, cute, and funny book. I laughed a little too much when sawyer got hit with the car the second time. loved how they complemented eachother and brought out the best in one another.
