What the hell just happened?? I’m just shocked, I was so excited to read this book which is from Caleb’s point of view. So when I received the ARC by Jennifer, I gave up everything and started it right away, and I tell you I was not expecting what I got. In the entire "Versions of Me" series I was and I still am rooting for Caleb and Harper but seeing things from Caleb’s perspective and what he had to go through in his life just made my heart bleed. He didn’t deserve all this but neither does Harper.

This book is from the same timeline as “The Victim” is so we know about Autumn coming into Caleb’s life, at the beginning, I thought she’s just like the other girls who came into his life but after reading the book I’m still heartbroken with Caleb and Harper not being together but that pain is a little less hurting seeing Autumn as she is.

Jennifer is a mind-blowing writer and I have said this again and again. I literally love her, how she portrays a character just makes me love it even more. The story has so much depth in it that I found myself drowning in it. I have never ever finished a book this fast and the anxiety I’m feeling afterward literally needs to be taken care of. It’s just as perfect as how I thought it will be.

P.S. there are trigger warnings, so before reading go check them out at Jennifer's site.

Caleb is one of my favorite character developments. Not being able to let go of someone is so relatable and difficult. Definitely made me cry, all Jennifer’s books do.
