They call them broken. They call them bad. I call them mine.
What we have is more powerful than the all the Knights combined.
Or at least, I hope so…because they haven’t stopped.
Those in power seek to take me down, to use me like I’m just an asset. They want to whittle me down until I comply…
I won’t.
I refuse to stop until my sister’s murderer is brought to justice. Until I get to walk away from the elite world, forever linked to three men whose hearts are bigger than I ever expected.
It’s time to show the Knights what we’re made of…together.
E. M. Moore is a USA Today Bestselling author of Contemporary and Paranormal Romance. She's drawn to write within the teen and college-aged years where her characters get knocked on their asses, torn inside out, and put back together again by their first loves. Whether it's in a fantastical setting where human guards protect the creatures of the night or a realistic high school backdrop where social cliques rule the halls, the emotions are the same. Dark. Twisty. Angsty. Raw.

I can't be the only one sitting here, having just read the last page, like flipping my Kindle over to see if there's more - cuz wth? Has E.M. gone lost while vacationing this last summer and the publishers had someone else finish writing this series? Someone who didn't really take the time to get to know these characters? Thats all editorial BS, though, here is my valid question; Leon Forbes, who waited years for his son's marriage to Dee- for all the money and power he would gain from it... had his nephew kill Dee before it could take place...???? This world turned topsy before it came to a close...and not in a good way. An entire year I waited for the conclusion to this story. I want it back.
I’ll start with, I loved the first two! I loved all the guys and Eden and their relationships with each other. Amazing.
I’m sad how it ended the murder mystery. Like. The finding out who and why the sister was killed? It was like it was just for giggles. It didn’t even make sense? Why would they even give that offer to kill her? And then all the talk about taking down all the knights that was just gone as quick. It felt like the end of the book was hurried and they were trying to just finish it and be done. Idk. I guess I wanted more of an explanation as to why the murder happened in the first place cause it’s not adding up.

I’m sorry but this conclusion was awful!! Firstly it’s left more questions than answers. Secondly I feel that it’s not taken the true way a reverse harem could work, seriously. I’m sorry but this final book in this series has seriously spoilt it. I can’t believe it!
So confused. Leo has a tragic back story where his grandpa is a huge a hole and abuses the shit out of him. Physically and emotionally and he killed his dad (the grandfathers son btw). The professors character is just there. And Oliver is everything. Honestly I could have dealt with just Leo and oli. It’s this trilogy that takes you through a college secret society but let’s be honest they are literally never in class. She’s trying to find her sisters killer and in the end she does. Only it doesn’t make any sense as to why she was even killed. Her arranged fiancés dad killed her only to then try to force the fmc to marry him since her sister is dead so that he can gain his portion of her family’s business. If that’s what he wanted then why did he kill the sister to begin with? Made no sense.

This is the final book in the Pretty Little Dead Girl series and while I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this series, I felt like the end was rushed and fell flat. I was left with unanswered questions and a deeply unsatisfying void at what became of the. ultimate. evil. bad. guy.
I loved Edie and her guys and how they've finally fallen into a cohesive team. The squabbles between Leo and Oliver were THE. BEST. comedic relief. I loved everything about their relationship and if this review was just to review their relationship, then 5+ stars for them. The way Edie knows which guy to go to depending on her emotional/physical needs at the time and the guys understand it are relationship goals.
What I didn't like was the ending to the 4-book mystery we were trying to resolve. The twists and turns revealed some shocking and some downright sickening truths. Did we find out who killed Del? Yes. Was it shocking and satisfying? Somewhat... and freaking TRAGIC. But we've been dealing with the Devil Incarnate (i.e. Leo's grandfather) for this entire series.... and, well, as long as he's still breathing, I'm not satisfied.
The series as a whole is really good and pretty unpredictable. The mystery is *chef's kiss*, however the ending was super rushed and I was left wondering why we ever even met Tim in Hush, Hush.
This series has had me twisted in knots from the prequel. I thought Dee would somehow overcome her cliffie because I didn't realize we would move into Eden's quest to avenge her. So the whole series has left me on pins and needles, wondering what horrific things would befall Eden on her path for answers in the wretched black hole that encompasses the Knights.
The suspense was amped way up in this last book because I kept waiting for her to be snatched away and taken care of for good for going against the male dominated secret society. But Leo, Ollie, and Alaric were strong protectors, and even with the odds stacked against them due to previous loyalties and allegiances, they stayed true to Eden and her cause.
Ollie seriously takes the cake as one of my faves now. He is a dream come true, prince and all. The devotion he has for Eden never wavers. Leo definitely won me over in this book, and Alaric broke his rather frozen exterior to show how much he cared for Eden too.
Let's not forget Keegan. Man, my heart absolutely ached for him after losing Dee. He had finally seen the error of his ways, and she was brutally ripped away from him. And when we finally find out the culprit, it makes it even harder to stomach. I didn't want him to join Eden's entourage, but I need some kind of closure for him too. I hope his story doesn't end here and we get to see him happy one day.
I also wanted to see Franklin Jarvis totally obliterated for his disgusting excuse for an existence, but he does end up in a rather fitting circumstance, so I can live with it.
This series will have you thirsting for vengeance, aching for the tragic circumstances, and scrambling to read to the end for Eden's HEA. This was one thrilling ride!
This is a very intense dark read that has a lot of depth information on this story getting pulled together and solving this mystery that is fast paced.
don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of things that could’ve gone differently that would’ve put two and two together. but who killed dee was obv a shocker but there’s also no reason for it to happen. because SPOILER ALERT‼️ why would he want see dee dead and then marry her sister to her son if all he cared about was reputation. i think leo bumped it to 4 starts for me. the other two books gave me more of everyone and this book i felt circulated around leo. i want to know more. sir jarvis’s reaction to the money being sent over, i just wish he killed dee.
Completely rushed ending. So sad for such a great series. So little happened in this book then the last like 30 pages it was just quickly wrapped up. Ugh. Pity.
What can I say about Broken Truths? It is probably the darkest and most twisted book E M Moore has ever written that I've read. The Knights are such a dark, ominous black full of depravity, misogyny and an unbelievable sense of entitlement that this book should be illegal and yet they call it tradition! broken Truths shines a light on the dark side of humanity and the monster that hides inside men. The Knights can only be described as men so evil and corrupt that even the devil wouldn't allow them into his lair.
Delilah's killer is finally unmasked and let me tell you I never saw it coming! In fact the killer was never even on my list of suspects and when i found out i was kicking myself. Once unmasked it only further highlights the Knights control, their sense of power and how adept they are at puling people's strings and convincing them to do anything even if it's against their entire being!
The suspense keeps you on edge through the entire book, keeping the read griped and entertained. Even if you are not a vengeful person in the slightest Broken Truths will bring those feelings out in you! Through the entire read I became vindictive, and vengeful, waiting in anticipation like the most evil mastermind for the psychotic revenge that has to be coming!
Unfortunately, E M Moore is not done with torturing her characters so more tragedy strikes their group but they also couldn't be stronger. Edie and her men are in a really good place cohesively, each of them secure in her love and their place in her life and I loved seeing them all coming together to work to find Dee's killer.
The ending whilst perfect for Eden and her men and completely true to their characters I did feel there was something missing but that was just because of what kind of person I am. I still really loved it and couldn't have seen it happening any other way and that's all I can say without massive spoilers! But I am definitely hoping for more because although a lot of answers were given I'm just not ready to say goodbye to Eden.
I seriously disliked the ending. So anticlimactic.
Someone needs to explains this author how marriage works. You cannot be forced to marry someone just because your father signed a contract. If such a contract held any weight, it would only be within the secret society, where members hold leverage over each other and her Father could’ve guilted her into going through with the wedding. After her father’s death that contract had no holding over her, and she could’ve just refused to leave her room. On that note: just because you say “I do” to three men in front of a priest doesn’t mean you’re married. If they wanted to vocalise their commitment they could’ve done it any other way and I’d have preferred it.
Now to the plot ending: The whole thing with Devon? So disappointing. The way his character was introduced he would never have killed a girl to get into the society, let alone the girl his cousin was in love with. I also don’t understand why Keegan’s father had Dee killed. He wanted the Union between Keegan and Dee for financial reasons. It had been in the making for a long time and was so important to him that he wanted to marry his son off to the sister afterwards. If it was about her joining the society, he could’ve used is new influence as father in law to stop it. The plot about her virginity also doesn’t yield a motive. Can’t bet on who takes the virginity of a dead girl. Finally let’s talk about the all-powerful girl mercenary group. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for girl power, but they destroy the ending. All remaining troubles are neatly tied up with a bow, with just a call to that group. Why didn’t they just run and sip Piña Coladas on a beach somewhere from the start, while the mercenaries dig out their enemies’ worst secrets and wire their money into their accounts? Why is that only an option in the last 10% of the last book? It’s a really lazy resolution of the plot and I resent it. The romance was pretty much resolved before this book, the spice was medium at best, so I only stayed around for the plot. Oh well.

The FMC is all badass all the way. She went in with a mission and bulldozed over anyone that got in the way. Even tho it took Leo awhile to get his head out of his ass. You knew why. He didn't know what those feeling were cause he never had them. He has only known abandonment and heartache so that's what he threw out there. Until Edan came into his life and snacked it into him. He is definition of a bad boy tats and piercings but yet once he allowed it heart of gold for his woman. Oliver oh prince Oliver wanted to be the white knight coming in to save her but he learned from the the bad boy that Edan wanted a tbad boy so he let himself free finally and became that and she loved it just as much as the caring part. Realizing she loved him too and not just as a best friend. The dear old professor not that much older sexy as hell. Bend you over his desk and take you right there with out a care of who would walk in. Bad ass but gentle and loving as well. These 4 were and are perfect. Litterly have 4 different people total opposites but yet she's drawn to them to each other in different ways. She finally got what she wanted even tho it was a shock and wouldn't of thought of it. I was hoping he just said what he did just so his life would end and that the father would admit to it. But it didn't so im sad at that but I'm glad they solved the mystery of her sister's death and sticking it to Leo's grandfather and all the Knights and living life on their terms. That's how it should be nobody should arrange a marriage or force you to do anything you don't want too. Man or woman. Everyone deserves happiness if it's at the own wanting. And the good kind. Please read this series and start with Hush Hush cause that the sisters story and leads into why Edan takes her place as revenge. This author did a fantastic finaminal job on this series andbive enjoyed her other series as well. Please enjoy. Please take in the TW.

📘 REVIEW FOR ENTIRE SERIES INCLUDING PREQUEL 📕
I should make it a rule to not do reviews when in a book slump. It can be difficult to differentiate feelings caused by the book and the slump. So that may have some bearings on the review.
E.M. Moore is one of my top authors. I love her books, especially the Ballers and Heights Crew series.
I loved the prequel, Hush Hush. Although the virginity obsession was a bit much (although I totally get why!) I very much enjoyed it. It was suspenseful and I was shocked when it finished. (I went in blind without reading the blurb or any reviews.)
To be honest, the whole way through, I was expecting the author to say...gotcha!...and pull Delilah out of a basement somewhere. But alas, that didn't happen, and her sister, Eden, took up the cause of avenging her death.
Now, it did take me some time to really get into the story, with it not really hooking me until the final book. This may be because the relationships felt a bit hollow at first...or, might be due to that pesky slump.
It felt a little rushed, with things brought up that you think might be important, but then nothing came from them. And the ending was all of a sudden there, but left me with some questions.
Those issues possibly get resolved in the author's Patreon, where she offers bonus work, so unfortunately I can't offer a definitive answer.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It may not be my top read of the author's, but it provided an entertaining escape...exactly what a book is supposed to do.
This ride has been amazing. The suspense, the mystery, the chemistry between the characters. Chefs Kiss.
There is no story like this, and I cannot believe its over. I have loved being transported into this world. Erin has a unique talent for giving so much with so little effort. Its easy to read and follow, there’s depth even with the simplicity with how she has given us this world. There is so much character and world development, you couldn’t help but be consumed and completely compelled to read this book and the series just from the first sentence.
These characters are everything and have quickly become my new obsession and favorite from EM Moore. The way they compliment each other was great. It did take me a beat there with the first book to get that connection with the FMC but once it clicked it made reading so much easier and made me fall completely for their story. There were some amazing moments that will forever imprint on me that I absolutely cannot stop thinking about. I have loved the highs and lows of their relationship. I have enjoyed watching them mold into what the other needs but also keeping that individuality and those quirks that make them, them.
Amazing world build. There was really nothing left to the imagination. The level of detail and depth Erin writes with is amazing. She has so much clarity, vivid details and imagery its almost tangible as you read, and I love it. Truly a world I can get lost in forever and be happy.
Im sad this story has ended but im now excited to see what other worlds and characters Erin has in store for us.
I read the series in one day. I mean it's winter it's cold, who doesn't want to curl up with a good book. The story line itself wasn't bad I mean it obviously held my interest. With the exception of wanting to jump in the pages at times in book two, to smack some sense into the FMC. It happens. What drives me crazy with any story, be it book or movie are the plot holes. In book one when Oliver and Eden are interrogating Keegan he states:
“Me? No,” he spits. He closes his eyes and shakes his head like the last thing he wants to do is tell me what this is. But when he opens his eyes, he looks resigned. “Listen, your sister got this fucked up bouquet delivered to her. Flowers were wrapped in one of those stupid gossip magazines, and it was a picture of your sister on your father’s yacht…in her bikini.” Memorized every part of your body… Well, that’s disgusting. “That note was in the bouquet along with a used condom,” he relates darkly. “Your sister called me first. She trusted me, and so should you—”
But in the 3rd book Keegen states
“You know about the note from the bouquet, but what you don’t know…” He swallows, almost like he might vomit again, but he holds it back. “What you don’t know is that there was a used condom in the bouquet, too.”
There were others thing is I was at 68% in the 3rd book when I decided to take note, litteraly in my kindle, & didn't feel like rereading to find the other I noticed early on. Just saying that is a huge plot hole.
Starting this series, I loved it! Ending it on the other hand was a tad anticlimactic.
This why-choose revolves around Eden, a grieving college student hell bent on avenging her sister, whom she believes to have been murdered and covered up by a secret society. Her plan is to join their ranks herself, all the while gathering intel on what really happened. During her pledge, she is thrown in with a group of men that eventually all become her lovers.
One of my favorite aspects of a reverse harem where the MMCs were NOT already in an established friend group, is that it allows for multiple tropes and relationship dynamics for the FMC (friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and professor & student). I thoroughly enjoyed the romantic buildups of each coupling, and how each love interest connected with her differently.
I will say, however, that I definitely lost momentum in the final chapters of the last book. Sometimes a series ends up feeling too long and played out by the time you get to the conclusion, and I felt like I was forcing my way through it just to mark it as complete. I was also a little bothered by a few dead end plot points, albeit they were smaller bits and ended up inconsequential, but they left me wondering why they were stressed to begin with (such as the paternity test “favor”, it was brought up so many times I was CONVINCED it was hinting at a major event or secret being revealed when it really was just a side quest).
I have to say I felt a little let down by how this series ended. I started off the beginning of book 1 unsure if I’d like it. Then about midway along things picked and I was really into it, book 2 I enjoyed the entire thing. But book 3, I was left with more questions than answers. So many things were left unanswered and not dealt with, like the whole Vincent and the mystery surrounding the DNA of the baby- was it his, most likely, but it would’ve been nice to get a conclusive answer and more info on that whole topic, not left wondering. Also, we find out the why, how and who killed Eden’s sister, and it was a shock, but made no sense at all. Keegan and Deliah were to marry to strengthen business between their families. So why did Keegan’s dad have her killed only to turn around and want Eden to marry Keegan??? And the whole thing with Leo’s grandfather was left hanging too. For everything he did, and how much Leo wanted revenge, nothing was done and again the topic was left unresolved. Also we’re left not having actual answers as to if Leon killed Eden’s dad, and why. We can safely assume he did, but I would’ve liked to have had it covered and known why. There were some other things too, but this book just felt rushed. To build up the mystery surrounding Eden sisters death and then have it end like this, it didn’t make sense at all.
Yes! We finally got the answers that began in the prequel novel, Hush Hush. Both Eden and Keegan finally got closure in Delilah’s death. Not before more shit hits the fan throughout this book.
A large portion if this book besides trying to solve some murders, focuses around arraigned marriages within the Knights. Ultimately, it would seem a marriage to Eden is a life or death matter. The strings that come with each connection wasn’t worth it. Yet all Eden wanted was to have the commitment and love from Alaric, Leo and Oliver.
Along the way, the action and intensity of this book were addictive. It was quick easy read. It was like one thing after another, yet I wasn’t able to fully pin down who was behind the murder. Especially who actually did it. That shocked the fu€k out of me.
In the end the correct marriages occurred, and the shock on the priests face was amazing. Leo, Alaric and Oliver vowed they’re loved to Eden, but it was really more. I think these four are now each others families and they would do anything for each other, even Leo and Ollie. HEA all around and they deserved it.
Broken Truths is the third and final book in the Pretty Little Dead Girl series. It's been a rough ride but we finally made it to the end. What an ending it was. The secrets are out and Oh My! Gets a little crazy! With all of the darkness in their world and the deceit, secrets and lies, it's hard to imagine our little group could come out on the other side with a happy ending, but they did. I love the way this group who started out so different and had so many issues has grown over the series. I came to really care for each of the characters and I will miss them.
While we did get a lot of answers, there were still a few loose ends for me. Just a few questions that have popped up and I felt we didn't really get closure on. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this whole series and this last book. It was an intense ride and there were twists and turns I didn't see coming. Maybe the questions left unanswered are left that way for a reason b/c we will see more of this messed up, dark world in the future. I for one will definitely read it if there is.
I agree with another review that it was a little rushed at the end. Maybe I’m just selfish and wanted more of these four? But I feel like there was still loose ends that needed to be tied. First, we should’ve seen way more revenge on Franklin Jarvis. It feels like that last chapter from his perspective was for nothing?? Next, Eden’s mom was a weird plot hole left open. Also, who was the child that Leo’s cousin fathered? It was brought it up so many times I felt it weird we had no clue who it was at the end. The killer of Dee seemed lackluster. And am I the only one who noticed that Alaric and Eden never said I love you to one another?….and a further out epilogue into their future would’ve been appreciated.
Anyway. Aside from that, this series was great. There were many many more good things about this series then things I wish has been included. Honestly I thought Oliver would always be my favorite but I really loved Leo come the end of the series. He had the most character development and I loved him for Eden. Definitely could’ve been longer in the last book but Eden is a bad ass and her harem was worth reading about overall.

Great series but so many unanswered questions; Give us more E.M. Moore!!!!
Loved that we got multiple POVs throughout the series! The steamy scenes were super steamy, but I was disappointed there wasn't a scene where all 3 guys and Eden were together. Don't get me wrong, the multiple scenes where they were all present were awesome but I feel like a scene with all together would have "sealed" everything. Now for the unanswered....I am HOPING there is a spinoff for Keegan, maybe holding out hope that Delilah is actually Alive and it was a good fake manican (like the one from the pranks) and she is being hidden by Tim the batista at request of Keegan? Otherwise what point did that character serve in the series? Also, it would be great to show Keegan finding happiness again if Delilah isnt alive and some after scenes of the Knights; are they going to be dismantled? What happened to Franklin Jarvis? So many unanswered questions means we need more! Hopefully in the form of another series that is related????
I loved the prequel and the 1st book, the 2nd book capture my attention and it was a struggle to put it down. So I’m not going to lie, I was disappointed by this 3rd book.
I’ve reached a point where I dread the last book in a series. Authors are spending so much time and effort in building these worlds and plotting all the twits and turns, but somehow they seem to fumble it at the last minute.
I thought the big reveal was extremely rushed and anticlimactic. Also it made no sense. It wasn’t a big twist it was out of left field with no logic. The ending was also underwhelming, ok we find out what happened to Dee, but the other main goal from the get go was to destroy the Knights. You are telling me Eden willingly walks away without a second thought to the society who destroy her family? Seems out of character.
Honestly it felt like the author was building up to the big reveal and was told “you have 5 pages to unveil the killer and let us know what happens to everyone after”.

Okay I’d love to give this book a 5 out of 5 but I still had tons of questions rolling in my head so it gets a 4.5 star rating. Loved our reverse harem got a HAE for sure, but what happens to the Knights now? Do these misogynistic pigs get away with doing it to the next generation of women? Who did Sir Franklin Jarvis get so mad with in Chapter 23? What was the meaning behind Dee getting killed besides her talking about what they had planned? Is that the only reason that they had behind her death because I’m guessing there could have been a less public way? We know why the person did it but why did the higher ups want her dead? The ending did come quickly to the story, but I just wonder if this is a setup for a new branch off series. So many unanswered questions from me… I guess we will see. Reread Hush, Hush maybe… which was the prequel to the series.

This was an ending to remember. So much goes on in this book and you try to figure out who Delilah's killer is who is playing this guy off of game and wanted men want. When things happen and the group starts forming plans people start popping up and with that comes risks and this whole series is about taking risks. But when it comes down to it you realize how much these men are willing to do for Eden. It's just non-stop action in this book and it really kind of keeps you wanting more to see you who is the killer and why they did this and why they did that and you do find out. It's probably who you think it is but you just don't understand why until it comes out.
Eden, Alaric, Oliver and Leo are here with their epic conclusion to their story. The twists and turns that come are not what you expect at all! Eden seems to be fighting a constant uphill battle no matter which way she turns. The guys are all on her side swearing they’ll keep her safe especially from Franklin. The leads they follow to try and find out who killed Dee and what exactly happened open new doors that reveal more secrets. Seems like there is more to Dee’s murder than any of them could imagine when they find out the truth. Loved how they guys really start to trust each other and work together here.
Absolutely Brilliant! The writing is phenomenal, the characters Eden especially, are amazing and the whole mystery has had me desperate for this conclusion. From start to finish, my mind has been spinning with the possibilities of who... I love that this author can have me going completely cray cray with theories, to the point that I was making my friends buddy read so that we can discuss more theories and yet it was so completely different to what I was thinking. I am shocked. Absolutely brilliant, phenomenal plot, smoking hot guys and a fierce heroine, what more could you ask for? Highly recommend! Loved it!
Overall, I enjoyed the series. However, I feel like it was a lot of build up with a lack luster ending. I wanted some more details, I guess more of an extended epilogue. The prequel had me roped in from jump. I was disappointed when I read the first book and what I thought would happen didn’t. I really would have liked a little more exploration of Delilah and Keegan; it felt like a waste to me. Book 1 drew me back in and I was invested. It was a good series, but just not on the same level as the Uppercut Princess series, for me, from this author. I’d definitely recommend. All of EM Moore’s series are good reads, and I can’t wait for her next one.
Have loved this trilogy and this final book is action packed. We finally see Eden and her guys get their answers and ha-pay ending. Their story started off with mist trust all round but the three guys have eventually accepted each other’s role in Edens life and are working together. The way they played Leo’s grandfather at his own game was genius. Delilah’s death was Edens initial reason for wanting to become a knight, she has always had Oliver to help her, he’s still my favourite out of her guys as he’s always been there for her. Not usually keen on secret society type books but this is so well done, an amazing story, I’d definitely read again.
~4.5. I found this series, and EM Moore through the “Brutal Boys on Devil’s Night” anthology, as the prequel novel “Hush, Hush” was included.
I was so fascinated by Dee’s story and the Skulls vibe, and I had a hard time imagine what the series would be like. I mean, we we’re given a FMC who was coming into her own, only to be taken away.
Eden and her boys unraveling the mystery of Dee’s death, and brushing back all the layers of the Knights has been an incredible ride. I love that the guys were all different, their relationships with Eden were all unique, and you could understand why she needed something from each of them.
