Each of these three stories are not connected in any way other than the kidnapping of a girl in each one. Each story was good. There are some editing errors, which did not detract from my enjoyment. I liked the first story, it was definitely interesting trying to figure out who did it along with the rookie police woman Lux Bern. The second story was good, this story featured Bee, a very emotionally scared young woman. The last story is very good, although it is also very depressing and a violent story. What is actually scary is that this story is based in human greed. Lena and her brother Jake are very interesting characters.
Wow, this story was riviting! Definitely kept you on the edge of your seat. The girls were very strong, their mom Lena absolutely amazing. The bad guys lost but I think that the ending for them was to good.
An intricately woven tale of multiple relationships
Two powerful families, a cast of detectives and a school full of teenagers interact to create multiple mysteries filled with tension and ongoing suspense.
This is an amazing set of books. Exciting stories and keeps you guessing at ever turn. Lots of violence so I recommend for mature audience but a very good book.
Loved the plot and characters. This is a good mystery. It shows a very complex story and dives into drug addiction with The teens. Looking forward to the next book!
