Bewitched Break Inn
There's a string of break-ins happening around Silverlake, and no one is happy about it. Whoever the burglar is, he's smart, able to bypass magical wards and make off with the goods before the police even have a clue something's amiss.
That is until Loretta Johnson's grandson is caught red-handed at the scene. It seems like the case is closed, but Loretta is convinced her grandson is innocent, and she wants my help to prove it.
Too bad Mrs. Potts wants me to stay out of it. My retired second-grade teacher says I'm wasting my time. Harvey Johnson is a no-good scoundrel, and I'm better off leaving this one alone.
But when Harvey's found turned to stone in his jail cell, I know I have to take the case. Something more than petty theft is at play. No one's business is safe until we get to the bottom of this, not even Mystic Inn.

Bewitched Break Inn is Book number 6 in the Mystic Inn Mystery series by Stephanie Damore.
I absolutely ADORE this series; it is so well written.
Going back to the town of Silverlake is like going home again. I love all the characters and all the magic.
Angelica is planning a ghostly wedding for her friends. She always seems to find trouble in the form of mysteries to solve. I love Angelica and Vance together; the relationship is moving at the perfect pace.
The mystery was well written, and this is a must-read book.
Can't wait for next book in this series.

Well, it was better than the last couple of books, with a real murder involved, even though the main focus was rather on solving the thefts going around.
I enjoyed the more serious note in the last third of the book. And we finally learned Rocky’s fate - thanks for that. I’m curious to see if we ever hear of Gunner again, the dog they rescued in this one. I hope so.
Also, loved the progress in the relationship with Vance and also other characters growing up.
All in all it still was a bit slow though, especially in the first half where not much happened, especially not very interesting stuff. So still only two stars.

Another fun page turning adventure with Angelica, a wedding to plan for her ghost friends and the stores up and down the street are being robbed! And it seems the burglar is always one step ahead of being caught. But, when Loretta's grandson is caught red handed, and he is put in jail, Loretta is convinced there is more to the story and her grandson is innocent and she wants Angelica to help solve the case. Is he really the no good, spoiled child Mrs. Potts makes him out to be and tells Angelica to let well enough alone since they caught him? More than what meets the eye seems to be involved here when they find Loretta's grandson turned to stone in the jail cell. What is going on in the peaceful town of Silverlake? Can Angelica put off the ghostly wedding and solve the problem of the burglar? I love the characters and I love how Angelica's relationship with Vance is developing! Once you begin this book you can't put it down until the surprise ending! I love this series and highly recommend it to everyone! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

The main characters include Aunt Thelma, Percy ( a poltergeist), Emily (inn employee), Amber (a nasty deputy), Vance, Angelica and others. A body is found near the inn and there's a series of breakins with a book seeming to be the target.
There's a punk named Harvey who robs a jewelry store and who ends up stoned. Not drugged. Literally stoned.
Everything seems to revolve around a gemstone that is extremely significant to the town and which seems to be the target of someone. So it's a matter of stopping someone from stealing the stone and ruining the town although exactly where the stone is seems to be for question.
Another good book in the series.

It’s always a wonderful visit to Silverlake and all of fun magicial characters that live there. Angelica is planning a wedding for her ghost friends and tripping over crimes along the way. I love her growing relationship with Vance and how they work so well together. Another great addition to the Mystic Inn Mystery series, one of my very favorite series and I love escaping there. This is definitely an “I couldn’t put this book down.” series. Such fun to read.

Bewitched Break Inn is a fascinating, complicated mystery. I always enjoy visiting Silverlake. This well written mystery has several break-ins were nothing appears to be taken, a jewelry story heist, the death of an unknown visitor, a wedding and more. With clues galore, a red herring or two and lots of twists, I certainly did not figure this one out - always a plus! This book is my favorite in the series!

Great Book
This book was wonderful. It caught my attention from the beginning and kept my attention all the way to the end. The mystery was involved and very interesting. And I was more than satisfied with the ending. Everything wrapped up beautifully. I wish this was not the end of the series. I would love to know if the heroine's aunt gets a HEA and if the heroine's best friend Misty gets a HEA. But, anyways, it was a great series that I enjoyed very much.

This is such a delightful series! Break-ins abound in the magical town of Silverlake and Angelica is determined to find the culprit. In her spare time, she’s planning the wedding of a ghostly couple. A nice twisty plot, entertaining characters and fine storytelling kept me reading past my bedtime. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

Aw shucks
With Vance acting strange and it came out one of the rings stolen from the jewelry store was a special order Katie didn't want to describe to the police with Angelica there I assumed it was an engagement ring Vance ordered but it's not mentioned when he proposed.
Angelica gave Percy & Elizabeth the lovliest wedding gift.

Bewitched Break Inn is a fantastic paranormal cozy mystery. It is engaging, suspenseful and fun. The mystery is complex and well developed. There are so many twists and surprises you will be kept guessing until the very end. I love the characters. This series is wonderful and keeps getting better with each book. I can't wait to read the next one. I highly recommend this book.

Good series
Good mystery , one part bugging me I have to go back and read it , swore ring found was opal wit baguette diamonds in the end last chapter before a surprise we all knew and lots of hints of it in this book would happen called it pearl ring. Unless there second ring I missed or 3 rd ring.

What a complicated and yet intriguing mystery! This was so fun to read and with Angelica running around super busy planning a ghost wedding it made for a lot of mishaps! I quite enjoyed the ending and look forward to reading the next book!

A short read
Some spelling mistakes but not too much. Not really a lot of action in my opinion. Kind of bounced all over really. I'm hoping the next, if there is one, will be a bit more focused.

Intriguing and exciting
This was an intriguing and exciting mystery as Angelica, with Vance's help, investigates a series of break ins, personal attacks, dead bodies, spells and mysterious codes, all while organising Percy and Eleanor's wedding. Love this series.

This series has been so much fun. Who doesn’t like a good mystery and these add in the paranormal which keeps them interesting.
