Luna-to-be Abby has her hands full at the Jade Moon pack. While Oliver and Elijah are helping Alpha Patrick run the pack, Abby has to support her friend as she adjusts to life as a werewolf, deal with family drama at her old pack, and try to win over her new pack as she attempts to carve out her own place there.
Things get even more complicated as word gets out about Liz’s identity and lines are drawn between those who welcome her bloodline’s return, those who don’t, and those who would use it to their own advantage. Old adversaries return with new agendas, and new friends are found in the unlikeliest of places.
When the dust finally settles, can everyone find meaning in the hand they’ve been dealt?
If you're looking for sweet and steamy romance, you've come to the right place! I started reading romance novels in my early teens and writing them soon afterwards; growing up in small towns in western Canada, there wasn't much else to do! Luckily, those early stories have never seen the light of day.
Now, I live in the UK with my husband and daughter and spend my free time diving into magical or just romantic settings where true love (almost) always wins.
This book is a continuation of Oliver and Abby and Elijah and Liz. A lot happened in the second book in this series, and if you haven't read it, you definitely need to. This book is very similar to others in the series. Still, instead of focusing on new mates, it focuses on the value of the relationships. This story is exciting, eventful, and even brought tears of joy. The author wrote this perfectly to finish up this series. I really enjoyed Abby and Oliver's continuation and the addition of Eli and Liz. I loved to hate Jerrod and Marissa, but not as much by the end of the book. The story was endearing, and lots of fantastic advice was ingrained in the lines of this book.
We begin this book with Jerrod, who is in a steamy scene with his mate Marissa. I'm not sure who Jerrod is precisely as I struggle to remember him. Their relationship is more enemies and chosen mates.
We finally get to Abby's pov. I love that the book seems to jump to everyone's pov; granted, I think Eli has the most significant personality change, and I wasn't expecting it. I love that the author carried the storylines so seamlessly.
Olah, I wasn't expecting that out of the left-field; definitely dramatic. Marissa is very spiteful, and between her and Jerrod's crazy, I'm sure this book will get chaotic for Abby and Oliver.
Marissa and Jerrod plan an evil plot for Abby and Oliver, and I hope it doesn't come to fruition. After all the madness, I can't believe that is the solution; what the heck? I never dreamed this paranormal fiction would solve a problem with that solution. Liz and Eli really do think out of the box. I'm not sure I like this decision.
This book definitely reinvents a few things with big decisions in the wolf shifter community. Of course, the epilogue of this book leaves me with tears of joy. What is this madness you weave in your stories Melody Tyden? This was a perfect ending to a sweet and exciting wolf shifter series.
I'm so excited to spend more time with Abby and Oliver! This book picks up very shortly after the second book where the main characters are still dealing with the revelations at the end of that book, as well as a new situation with Abby's dad. You need to read the first two books to get the most out of this one, as it also pulls in the characters of Jerrod and Marissa from the first book who we didn't see in book two.
The book centers around the idea that sometimes, we think we know what's best, but it's easy to get caught up in our narrative and forget that the people around us are actual people with their own feelings and wants. Elijah makes a big misstep because he thinks he knows what his future with his mate should be like, and Jerrod and Marissa get in deep with their hare-brained scheme to rewrite their mate relationships. Of course, things go wrong, and eventually everyone learns the lesson that we don't always know what's best. What you think you want isn't necessarily what you need.
The book ends with an epilogue that peeks into the future and gives this series the happy end it deserves. I really enjoyed Abby and Oliver's journey.
What a ending of the trilogy! I loved every second of it and couldn't believe the problems not only Abby and Oliver but also Liz and Elijah had to go through!!!! It's in one word Amazing and in two: Amazingly Satisfying!!!
Thank you Melody for writing such amazing stories, I am happy to have found these books and I can't wait to start a new journey through your other books!
Eli, Liz, Olivia and Abby continue the storyline in this book. This book is fast paced action-packed with many twists and turns. I love this series and the characters. I appreciate this book being narrated in duet style wonderfully performed by Giancarlo Herrera and Priscilla Broussard.
Three well thought out books with interesting characters and good character development. All three books were stories on their own as well as a continuation of the main storyline. In trilogies often the second book is the worst and often tedious but in this trilogy all three books were of exceptional quality and kept you interested. Really enjoyed reading these.
What amazing book you have written. Had me hooked from the first few days. I’m so happy that Abby and Oliver got happy ending. Would have loved to know if Eli and Liz ended up with twins as well or not. Hopefully one day we will get to read more about Oliver and Abby or Eli and Liz even Jared and Marisa
Aww I loved this finale in the series! It was really lovely to see the conclusions of everyone’s stories! Lots of drama and twists! Really loved this book!
This plot was hard for me from a few reasons. First, its still unclear and NOT OK that while Richard was executed for endangering his pack members (and rightly so, as for the rules of werewolf culture), Jerred was not only left alive dispite commiting a bigger crime, but is still considered as the next alpha. Secondly, there are MANY plot holes here that really hurt the credibility of the plot. Thirdly, the changes in the characters (Jerred, Marisa and also Ilay, though less) were too swift, and therefor hard to swallow. Lastly, the blurb doesnt describe the plot so well 😅 it annoyed me. I'm not sorry I read the book, I enjoyed it, but couldnt overlook all this...
A lot of this genre are very same old, same old, but there are enough plot twists to keep you guessing (and of course the saucy bits 😉) The obligatory HEA wraps things up in a tidy package for the characters, so there's no lingering questions. All in all, a great read!
I liked the series, just not this specific book. Marissa and Jerrod got off scott free. I would have had them face the same punishment Marissa's dad did... And although I liked Abby, her saint-like personality started to get to me
